Arrived, nobody there. Called, waited, called again and waited and waited. Place looked abandoned. A neighbour suggested the place was a refuge for the homeless. Looking at how grimey the exterior was, and that nobody was answering the phone, nor at the door, we left. I’m sure I’m not the first to be scammed.

I appreciated being contacted by the front desk staff to be alerted to the fact there is no-one at the from desk after 8pm and that my door key would be in a lock box on the front door. Unfortunately, everything else was terrible: *No chain lock on my door (only the simple in-handle lock) *The heater was broken and only a light blanket on bed * Room and hallways were unclean * Parking my brand new car on the dark, warehouse-laden street was not safe as my car stuck out like a sore thumb It was late (10pm) and I called several hotels before being able to find an alternative place to stay. This hotel does not warrant a 6.3 rating. My guess is Bots are rating it. It was a very stressful experience for me, a single, professional, 65 year old woman, after a long days work.

He lied about his location I had to lyft every time I needed to go to the convention center. I was promised a 15-20 min walk. I was isolated from all tthe resources for a decent vacation. I needed to do laundry on sat. no quarer machine & he did not keep at desk. I was on my own. Wait is all I heard.. The place did noty look like the pictures. no where near exercise equipment.. I still got no confirm mation about the $100.00 room deposit he did or did not take off my card.. no signs in laudry about cost of dryer or to wash. Do noty use this resource.

The history of the building and the affordability of the rooms is the reason we chose to stay here. The host, Queen, made our stay even better than we anticipated because she was amazingly accommodating, communicative and so warm and friendly. Even though the building is in a predominantly industrial area we were glad we stayed there because it was quiet and provided a great night's rest.

I absolutely HATED this place! I was extremely uncomfortable. The only reason I chose to stay was because I hadn't really slept for days, literally, and I didn't want to go through the headache of getting my money back from Expedia and it wasn't going to be easy finding another place in that area on a Friday evening. From what people wrote, it didn't seem like it would be that bad. You can't just walk in when you want, you ring a doorbell and someone takes forever walking over to let you in. I get that it's for security, but the door isn't in the line of sight from the manager's desk so I don't get that. This place on the inside looks extremely old. I got a pathetic room in the basement. The room totally had a weird smell that's hard to explain. The room was extremely small. There's nothing to deafen the noise going on around you. You can totally hear what everyone is doing in their rooms. The WIFI, which was important I have that, never worked no matter which router I chose. The kitchenette is totally pointless. There's nothing to cook with so why even have a stove? The tiny baby sink in the "kitchen" is actually the bathroom sink. It has a mirror above it. The kitchen sink is out where the bed is. Oh, and you'll love how the manager comes by your room in the morning and pounds on it telling you to check out. The people that stay there are totally ghetto and their kids that scream from morning 'til night. I only got a few hours of sleep. Will never go back!

When we checked in, my husband needed to use the restroom after a long trip from driving around. We were there for a medical trip to UCLA. When my husband asked the owner if he could use the restroom, he said "No, wait until you check in" While we were trying to check in, my husband was prancing around, and a huge car accident. The owner took us to the room, and the room was dirty!. When we told the owner we do not feel safe, he had the nerve to say I need to double check that we didn't steal anything in the room. We left immediately, disputed the amount through our bank. I do not recommend this place at all. Horrible owner and customer service.

This hotel was such an amazing place. Lots of history and friendly people. The rooms are apartments and so affordable. Parking was on the street but not hard to find. Very quiet considering the area is mostly industrial!!! There was a bit of unexplainable things going on inside the room from time to time but its a historic building with a colorful past so thats to be expected. Very small bed, almost a cot... Tiny shower, no bathtub... On the good side, it did have a reasonable kitchenette, which I did not need this time... Their Cafe was closed for repairs/upgrade/whatever and the man said that it would be a long time before it became open (years?)... Their "Free Breakfast" consisted of dry cereal, a small cookie and coffee... It was on a very unsafe-looking street and they did not allow parking in their gated lot, so everyone had to park on the street-very scary! It was in the worst part of the dock area of Wilmington, which is just about the seediest part of any town, especially this town...

I did not like at all. I called several times and nobody answered it, also they were not there when I arrived. In the middle of the night, I had to look for another place.

Great service, very clean, felt safe. My only issue was with the free breakfast, which turned out to just be cereal and oatmeal. Regardless of that, it’s a really great value for the price. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Small and narrow room with single spring bed that was not very comfortable. Thin walls that allowed noises from neighboring rooms.

Had to carry computers and luggage up half a flight of stairs. Two steps up to the bathroom. If you are not handicapped as I am it's really great for the price. We'll be back, too.

Everything. Hotel staff made me wait outside because I showed up 10 minutes before check in. On top of that, the neighborhood isn't great either. None of this was in the profile. Made it look like a 3 star hotel in a crape neighborhood. No its just crap

Many things. First and foremost: No A/c! How is that even remotely possible? With temperatures soaring upto 100 degree how can you not have an a/c? There was a dead rat somewhere in the room and had a revolting stench throughout my stay. Pathetic!!
