Amazing hotel, very friendly and helpful staff most importantly, clean, easy and right near everything very convenient

It’s nice that you have 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom suites available to you. I do wish they had a jacuzzi with pool. The staff was spread a little thin at breakfast. The man had to operate the front desk and monitor the the breakfast food.
- 5/5
The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean. We had all the amenities that we needed.

Very good

As others noted, this hotel was recently renovated, but there are still remnants of the old hotel which are icky. Old door frames, the ceilings etc. the beds seemed nice and clean, but when i opened a pack and play for my baby, there was a maggot in it. I opted to return it and have the baby in the bed. The exterior door in the back also doesn’t close unless pushed close, which is not great for security. The staff was nice and they accommodated shortening our stay, despite it being requested 1hr after the 6pm deadline the week before.
- 5/5
I had a great experience at the hotel. I drove all the way from Connecticut to my graduation in Buffalo, I was tired so I asked if I could do an early checkin and they did it for me without me paying extra. Also, I was told I could extend my checkout to 2pm instead of 11am and that was very good for me. Overall I loved the experience

Nice place to lodge except isolated case of one unfriendly staff

Clean and well organized kitchen. Spacious living area with basic but attractive layout and decor. Having a separate bedroom was very nice. The grooming area, with lighted mirror, sinks, closet, abundant drawers was separate from the toilet and bath which is nice. One glaring oversight was positioning the bed directly and almost touching the heating/cooling unit. No one enjoys sleeping with cold or hot air blowing on them. I turned it off for the night, grateful that the weather was temperate. Very quiet in the halls and no neighbor noise through the walls. Breakfast was excellent and looked after by a helpful attendant. Loved the dark brew coffee. Thanks!

They where very accommodating. Super friendly staff.
- 4/5
The room was really nice and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom suite, and it was nicer than some apartments I've had over the years. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the common areas (living room and kitchen), each room had a private bath. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. A few negatives, getting in and out of the property was challenging, there weren't a lot of great food options near by, no silver wear provided in the kitchen, no cups in the bathrooms, and the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak.

Room was spotless. Check in was courteous. However the bed was way too high. Very difficult to get into!!

The location was key for visiting places. The staff was helpful when needed. The full breakfast and coffee in morning was a perk. We really enjoyed the evening social.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. It was very clean. Nothing to really complain about
- 4/5
The room was clean the only problem the drain on the shower and the sink doesn’t work properly.
- 4/5
Kitchen was fully equipped and the staff was friendly. The only thing I did not like is that I asked for garbage bags but did not get them, so I had to use whatever bags from the stores that I had with me in the room for the garbage.
- 5/5
Clean, staff friendly!

Theo at the front desk was horrible in their demeanor as well as their lack of professionalism and customer service.

there were no pillows for the fold out couch we have 5 people in our room . no face cloths no hand towel and the body was in shower was empty .

Parking was easy, got in the room a bit early, staff was helpful and accommodating. Room was up to date, clean, quiet, and the bed was exceptionally clean and comfortable! Kitchen area was clean. Bathroom was new and also very clean. Free breakfast was good—even had big, fresh, blueberries and strawberries available as well as cereal, breads, eggs, sausage and waffles. I would definitely stay here again. Looks like all their remodeling I read some people complaining about in other, older reviews was well worth the earlier disruption. Can’t have change without some disruption.

The table is dirty with cup marks and the floor is very sticky. Others are fine. Carpet look fairly new, the sofa bed is with stain. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The bathroom is out dated and the shower curtain has a strong smell.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Paul at the front desk was very informative with all questions that I had
- 5/5
Room was great and staff was helpful. The only two small issues we had (needed more towels and sheets for the sofa bed), the team dealt with quickly and effectively. Very happy with the accommodations. We wish all hotels were like this.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
We were put in a room that smelled awful and looked like renovations had not been completed as doors were missing on cabinets. They were kind enough to bring me to other available rooms to find one that worked. The room was renovated, but was missing cabinet handles and linens for the pull out and only had 2 towels, but they brought up linens and towels right away. Staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Had a great dinner just a block down at Santora's, great pub good drinks and food! The shower did not get hot and the water pressure was very weak, plus tub could have been scrubbed a bit more. The bed was very comfortable and air worked great. The attendant at breakfast was not helpful and the breakfast was not the best hotel breakfast I have had. Do yourself a favor and go 2 minutes down the road for the best donuts ever at Paula's donuts. Overall for the price and location it was good, but you will have pros and cons.
- 4/5
As the previous reviews state, yes. This hotel is under renovation. Would I give it a poor review? Ehhh no. Staff is very friendly. Although this property needs an inspector to walk through and make sure all the little fine details are done, I'd still recommend this hotel. We stayed in a 1bdrm King Suite (203). The suite was a good size, but again things need to be finished within the room. Our kitchenet cabinets were missing doors and a lot of corners were cut trying to finish the renovation. The hotel has a large pool area open until 10pm, basketball 1/2 court, what I think might be a splash pad in the making? Nice fireplace outdoor sitting area, grills, and ample parking. The gym is VERY clean and just redone also. The laundry room is free to guests and is also very modern/updated. Elevators need a little work and are kind of hard to find, breakfast was plenty and the whole hotel smelled of breakfast by 8am. There is also a small marketplace next to the office, and a small computer room. As soon as you walk in you can smell "new" construction. I will definitely be using this hotel again. Security deposited of $75 was pending return in less than 2hrs after departing this hotel.
- 4/5
We paid in advance with Expedia and then the Staybridge Suites billed us again for the same night.
- 5/5
Renovated clean hotel
- 3/5
The hotel did not have anyone’s reservation. We had to leave while they sorted it out. Thankfully they made it work.
- 5/5
The hotel is doing a fantastic job with its renovations. It is almost finished, and we feel at home even while away. Thank you!
- 5/5
The room is big , nice bed , clean
- 2/5
Renovation is happening while we were checked in. Whole property was in mess
- 2/5
The staff was as friendly as they could be considering everything that was going on. The hotel was underigjgn contruction at the time and it was obvious the room they had me in wasnt ready. Nothing was done ac wasnt working in 80° to 90° heat construction workers kppt trying to get in.they had to give me box fans just to cool the room down.
- 1/5
No hot water. No coffee. Be prepared to walk over razor blades as it’s an active construction site working from 7am-11pm.
- 4/5
We had a pleasant stay
- 5/5
It was under a renovation but nice and clean and staff was very friendly
- 4/5
The mattress cover was dingy and gross looking but the rest of the sheets look good. The room was okay not top end but worked for the 1 night we stayed.
- 1/5
The hotel under construction has a lot of dirt and didn’t notice me before I arrived. And they said will arrange for me shuttle but no one arranged for me almost I was missing my flight.
- 3/5
Under construction, no breakfast.
- 2/5
Hotel is being rehabbed. It is a building site.
- 1/5
This was the worst service ever by Expedia. The hotel had to phone me to let me know of the situation. My use of Expedia will quite possibly end due to this.
- 1/5
This hotel should not be open to the public at the moment. It is under construction. Extreme construction. The lobby is full of construction materials as well as the rest of the hotel. The hallways are full of building supplies, dirty, paint and plaster. I paid for a suite and my first room had no running water, exposed outlets and wires, the counter wasn’t finished. The tub had dirt, garbage and footprints in it. The floor was covered in dirt and plaster.
- 5/5
It was great! Even though it was under construction the room was clean. We got there after midnight and our original room the key card wouldnt work. We got a huge upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi tub which we really enjoyed. The upgraded hotel will be super!
- 3/5
This property is under complete renovation and needs to be closed during this time. No amenities available, no cook tops in the room, no carpeting, dust and dirt everywhere. The new update will be great but, in the meantime, close the hotel during renovations.
- 1/5
Property is under construction and most of hotel amenities where not usable and rest was unfinished and dilthy
- 3/5
Although listed as a Buffalo Airport Hotel, it turned out not to be honored by tour company for shuttle pickup. Ended up having to get a rental car.
- 4/5
Was great other than the renovations
- 1/5
I think this place is closed for renovations. Or it should be until renovations are complete. This might be a problem with Expedia and not the hotel or chain. The clerk seemed surprised when we walked in that anyone would walk in. The key card machine was only able to produce one card for us after multiple tries. The hot water was not properly connected in the shower. I could see where it leaked. No carpet anywhere, everything ripped up. Just a construction site. Glad it's behind us. You should not be open for business in this condition.
- 1/5
When we arrived, we found out the hotel was undergoing renovations, which made it really hard to move around, especially with kids. It didn’t feel safe or relaxing, and we were only informed about this just two days before the journey, although we had made the booking one month in advance. What made it worse was that breakfast was canceled for our entire stay. We had booked with the understanding that breakfast was included, and it’s a basic part of the hospitality we were counting on. When we tried to talk to the manager about all of this, he was surprisingly rude. Instead of trying to help, he told us we could just cancel our booking with no apology or effort to make things right. That felt really unfair and dismissive. As it was difficult to find a new hotel at the eleventh hour, also the prices would be skyrocketed. We were really looking forward to this trip, but the experience left us frustrated. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously so future guests don’t have to go through the same. Furthermore, given the level of inconvenience and the overall experience, I kindly request a full refund for our stay. We believe this is a fair ask considering the disruptions and the lack of basic services that were promised at the time of booking.
- 2/5
The hotel is a construction site, full of dust.
- 2/5
Should have been closed during renovations because it wasn’t safe and the elevators were very dirty
- 1/5
Had I known this property was going through a major renovation, I would have never booked it. I feel Expedia should know about these things. Upon entering to check out a room , the associate showed me a room with a hot tub and I told her it looked fine. When we came back later to officially check in, she told me that all hot tubs were going to be removed and that the one in the room she showed me wasn't working. So, we we given another room. The toilet seat looked very worn & my wife had to wipe it down every time she used it. A light bulb was out in the room & I had to go to the front desk and get a new one. There was no soap at the sink. The eyes on the stove were at angles. I had to empty my own trash. The only breakfast was a bottle of water, biscuit and danish. And, that was only one day of the stay. The other days a sign was put out saying "no breakfast today." That's inexcusable!! When asking for more towels, etc, I was told they didn't have any clean ones and to come back. Trust me, we were only 1 of maybe five rooms occupied. One associate would give us water, in lieu of no breakfast. But the manager told me one day, "we don't give water, we only sell it." Trash in the public bathroom hadn't been emptied in several days, nor in the fitness room. Overall, it was a disaster but I didn't know how to change hotels with Expedia and didn't want that hassle either.
- 1/5
WARNING. This hotel is currently under construction and you do not have any amenities (the whole place is literally torn apart). I tried to contact them directly several times the day of my visit for assistance but could not get through. I had to call an off site representative for directions to get a shuttle. You still have to talk to someone at the hotel to request a pick up with the shuttle. It took multiple back to back calls after I was sitting at the shuttle pickup in the cold rain for someone to finally pick up. I appreciated my room upgrade to a suite, however it was dirty (sheets and blankets on bed were stained). Very stressful all around after a long stressful travel day.
- 1/5
This was th worst hotel stay I ever experienced. The hotel was being renovated and should have not offered rooms during the renovation. We were only told of the renovation days before our arrival and since it was graduation weekend, it was impossible to find another suitable hotel. The lobby was completely torn apart and instead of a free full breakfast, we were offered a breakfast to- go which consisted of a microwaved breakfast sandwich, two mini muffins, an apple, and a bottle of water. I had to wade through construction just to get a cup of coffee every morning which was never stocked properly. Every morning we were woken by Jack hammers removing the old flooring. The room itself was bad. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the carpet was badly stained and the pullout sofa was not usable and my grandson had to sleep on the sofa. My daughter was supposed to stay at the same hotel but as soon as she walked in, she felt sick from the smell of the old tile adhesive. She ended up cancelling and had to stay with relatives. Unfortunately, we had nowhere else to stay. I really think they should have offered a substantial discount because of the situation. Just another example of corporate greed.
- 1/5
Even though I reserved my room for a weekend that I knew would be busy, 2 weeks in advance, they gave up my room to someone else. Terrible management, would not recommend.
- 3/5
Hotel under renovations. Spa/hot tub was closed, breakfast is a takeaway bag. Pool was open which was good.
- 1/5
Manger said not to stay there and get your money back but it was nonretundable it should of been on website that it was under construction

- 5/5
I loved my room, it reminded me of my timeshare haveing a kitchen and table. My son enjoyed the basketball court a lot. The only issue was the parking lot was full of dumpsters and the staff had thrown boxes out the windows. The boxes were hanging in the trees I spoke to the front desk about upon checking in. All in all I would stay there again it was quite and peaceful.
- 4/5
I love the staff the guy at the front desk was very nice and sweet. The room was nice and roomy the pool was clean the only complaint I had is about the jacuzzi which was not available on a weekend because it had to be cleaned. Why not clean it during the week because most people go on vacation on the weekends disappointed in that other than that or stay was beautiful!
- 1/5
Exposed wires in hallway, bathroom door was broken, fridge was leaking all over floor, room smelled like stale cigarettes, stains everywhere, pillows smelled like mold and the chairs in the pool area had mold, holes in the windows in the hallways. very run down
- 1/5
Mold everywhere. Didn’t even stay the night.
- 1/5
My recommendation is not to stay here at this time they're currently renovating the entire building should be very nice once it's completed but the issue is there still selling rooms that are in no condition for occupancy. There was black mold in the bathroom ceiling The wallpaper was literally peeling off of the walls in every single room All The furniture was in terrible condition I probably would have left but I didn't select the refund option for the extra couple bucks next time I probably will.
- 1/5
Went on a family weekend. Hotel was very dirty and rundown. Air conditioning in room did not work. Offered another room and again room was very dirty. Carpet stained and torn.the employee at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Was given a full refund.
- 3/5
The hotel
- 1/5
After our difficult weekend with my family, I had to leave their house to stay at this hotel for some rest as I hadn’t slept and the noise above my room was extremely loud. I called the front desk and nothing changed so I spent almost $100 not to sleep having to catch an early flight the next morning this morning I was on the first floor room 141 I believe so you guys should know that it sounds like someone dropping a bowling ball above and again in front desk didn’t do anything and I never leave bad reviews for hotels
- 1/5
There was black mold in the bathroom, wallpaper falling off of every wall in our room, melted candy on the sofa, an over all odd smell in the hotel, pool area full of white mold, bed comforter had holes in it- very unpleasantly dirty.
- 2/5
Hotel was understaffed. Breakfast was horrible with stale breads and missing standard items such as bowls for cereal, the one thing they had to eat. No one was maintaining breakfast area so food was running out. It looked like a nice setup but the breakfast was far from it.
- 5/5
This venue was close to everything we wanted to do here price was in Canadian dollars and was very reasonable.
- 3/5
lots of parking lots of stuff to do in the area good food
- 4/5
In the middle of a renovation so smelt like drywall. Also the bathroom door was off its track. The front desk girl was extremely helpful, and the included breakfast was very tasty.
- 4/5
Nice room amenities, comfortable beds.
- 1/5
Hotel is run down and dirty rooms smelt musty and people at front desk didn’t seem to care/ bed was uncomfortable no blow dryer and there was still food in the fridge from previous days / I have stayed there prob 20 times over the last few years and it never was that way prior to this time
- 4/5
Enjoyed the jet tub and the suite. The price wasnt bad. They have a pool which we didn't use. Close to alot of restaurants
- 3/5
Everything and everyone worked as expected. I would stay again with a good rate. Everything is just “tired” but fine if you set the right expectations.
- 5/5
Hotel was great, breakfast was good. Room was big, nice pool area as well. Airport shuttle was great. Front desk staff Kyla was terrific, very helpful helping us with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
- 5/5
The lady was very nice and informative
- 1/5
Rooms are extremely dirty; building is outdated, not well maintained.
- 3/5
The hotel was booked solid the enite 7 days I stayed there. Parking was limited on a good day, made worse by cramped lota due to giant containers being placed on the property for renovations. Biggest issues was inconsiderate and downright rude guests (or their children), literally running throughout the hotel at all hours day and night, and having what sounded like knockdown, drag out wrestling matches, ahouting matches, and playing music audible rooms and floors away.
- 3/5
Could not supply pillow for sofa bed. Breakfast was minimal. Wallpaper peeling. Mold on bathroom mirror.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 1/5
They didn't give me the proper room! The room smelled like smoke the walls were peeling! Hardly any dishes and the pots were old and dirty!! We we're being harassed by the Security Gaurd Mike Kay!! He accused us of playing loud music and told us we couldn't play music at all!!! Children running through the hallways making noise! Loud music sounding like a night club! I was being wrongly accused of playing loud music and the receptionist clearly heard it was someone else's playing the music!!! She apologized on the hotels and Securities behalf!! At that moment I told her I felt harassed by her Security he was treating me poorly and unfairly and I no longer wanted to stay I wanted a refund and to find somewhere else to stay! She said ok she apologizes and she was supposed to issue me a full refund which I haven't received as of yet!!I had to dispute the charges with my bank and waiting for my full refund!! On top of it all it was VALENTINES DAY!! Totally displeased with the care service and staff!!
- 3/5
The room we reserved was still occupied. Next room only had one bed. I could not sleep on the hide-a-bed provided so I slept in a chair with my feet elefated on another soft chair. I could not sleep that way. Myself and two others of my party were cold. No extra blankets. The toiled was NOT a high-rise. It would not flush! I had a bowel movement and it stunk. No flush. No handicapped room. It seems to me that a hotel the size of Wyndham would have nandicapped accommodations. I had great difficulty getting up from using the toilet and woudl have been embsrrassed to have one of the ladies help me! Review this situation please. I feel that I should have my money refunded since I paid for the three of us. I am 87 and use a walker. I will wait to her from you about this matter. Rev. David Y Bevington, retired after 63 years of service to God and my several congregations.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the big size of these rooms. Down fall for us was you could tell it use to be a smoking room and the beds were a bit hard
- 1/5
Never will stay again I got a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi did not even work and the room was not every put together… the walls had wall paper coming off and the bathroom was dirty the parking lot is not big enough cause they have dumpster and working equipment everywhere… also not shoveled or salted fell in parking lot leaving at check out very poor
- 3/5
The stay was decent there was a dirty wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain at first you really couldn’t see it until I got a closer look. The light fixtures was out by the kitchenette area and by the sink
- 5/5
Good work
- 1/5
The light switches did not work, the wallpaper was falling off. The floors were dirty. The windows were unlocked and needed to be put in the correct tract to actually lock.
- 3/5
The dishes that the had in my room was dirty and the one guy that was working front desk was kind rude and wanted to make a issue with me because I had 8 kids with me but I had 2 rooms that allows 2adults and 4 kids so I don’t see what the issue was but other than that it was great and the jacuzzi needs to be fixed and the dyer for the laundry

Breakfast was great with amazing organized staff!
- 1/5
Second night when it happened I went downstairs immediately and spoke to the staff. Said they were having some issues, I wanted my to comped due to the absurdness of the situation. Said I would have to talk to the owner. So I called later in day as I checked out that morning and the owner said he would have to check with his fore inspector guy and would get back to me. Almost 24 hours later - I still haven’t heard anything. Do not stay at this hotel-someone shouldn’t have to talk to the owner the next day when you can visibly see I am up at 1am because the alarm went off that I was told he had to shut off……- so they know it went off. I will be contacting others to investigate this hotel!

Second time staying here flying up for a Bills game ,and it was great both times ,staff, amenities rooms /decor and hot breakfast was right on .Will stay here again.

Very nice place
- 1/5
Dirty, chipped furniture, extremely loud motor on the fridge, no room light (two light bulbs out), phone not working, no power or dial tone. No bedding available for pullout bed. Breakfast: Apple and orange juice came out as water, no eggs left or milk at 8:30 am. Alerted front desk about all of the above and nothing was done.
- 2/5
Unfortunately this use to be a great spot. It’s run down now and they have not put a nickel into this hotel since it changed over to Hawthorne Suites.
- 5/5
Staffs are very nice
- 2/5
wall paper peeling , hot tub closed, laundry not wkg, elevator down button not wkg - sign up to use up button, breakfast adequate but limited offered
- 2/5
Used to❤️it, now; wallpaper falling off walls, broken hot tub etc, elevator down button not wkg, rm not supplied - OVERALL PLACE IS in DISREPAIR. CALL b4 u book down the rd- in case they fix things but overall the dumpiest place I’ve stayed - used to be decent. A fall from grace to say the least.

Bad room. Toilet seat is broken. Room is dirty. Wallpaper falling off the walls
- 5/5
Did the job
- 1/5
The customer service was terrible. I will never stay at this place again
- 3/5
Hot tub broken
- 1/5
Avoid at all costs. Staff was rude. Half the outlets and in room phone didn’t work. When asking for extra pillows, blankets and sheets for the pull out couch I was told “we don’t offer room service”. The list goes on and on….
- 4/5
There was a shortage of ready breakfast food. Also, there were a number of restrictions that were not made clear prior to check in. The staff does not allow any gatherings. We were there to share Christmas with two family members. That could have been a problem.
- 5/5
Awesome time love the pool thanks Steph you guys are the best
- 1/5
This is not a hotel. It is a halfway house or quarters for the unhoused. There is no service, only negative service. They actually scowl at you or make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by asking for fancy items, like towels or soap. Don’t ask to have your room serviced. This hotel doesn’t do that, even after their 3-night-before-they-lift-a-finger policy. We asked on the fourth day, and the front desk person was irked and didn’t even write down the request. The result: no one came. We still had dirty towels and no clean sheets. This place is unsuitable and should be condemned.

We were put in a room with no oven, although the website says Full kitchen, our plan to bake Christmas cookies ruined..stovetop did not work at all, the heat in the room took 16 hrs to go from 60 to 68 f* we froze in our beds first night, no room was clean to transfer to at 6pm! No cleaning staff! Hot tub broken. 2 dishes no pots or pans no forks at all lack of supplies as stated! Bare bones beat up place, if thats all you need, the place was clean. Breakfast ok. Girls at desk very sweet, but maintenance is needed badly!
