Inn at Longshore

Staff in evening was delightful and accommodating .. offered to bring bags up staff. We were told construction on roof area near window would begin around 8 pm.. pounding began by Around 7:15 from wall next to room. I shared this with gal at front desk in am and she said. Nothing except your daughter told me already.

Staying at Longshore was a refreshing change of pace from the typical hotel experience. It felt like stepping back into a much simpler time, with a warm, comfortable atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The environment was relaxed yet full of charm, and what really stood out was the genuine friendliness of the staff. Their service made the stay feel personal and welcoming, something you don’t find everywhere. Longshore is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience I’d gladly return to.

Room was advertised as water view, but vents and other roof stuff blocked most of it. For me this was amusing. One could go outside and basque in an amazing view of the estuary. I would stay here again.

Excellent staff, very quiet and quaint little inn adjoining a golf course. Bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel, hands down.

Location was beautiful, staff very nice, restaurant food and service was wonderful.

Excellent service , outdoor and indoor seating really a gem !! The inn has quirks but for the money is a wonderful find with expectations in mind that it’s truly old but wonderful .

Beautiful grounds, dated furnishings, felt a bit rundown, front desk staff were friendly, what I can only assume were management staff couldn't be bothered with pleasantries

Relaxing

Great older facility is a nice change.

Although the property is gorgeous and the staff is excellent in every way the property is run down. There is no central air conditioning and the room smelled musty. The pool has a fee and there is no elevator.

Nicest staff I've encountered in a long time!

It’s in a beautiful location, but sadly needs upgrading. It just feels tired like grandma’s house. The view is amazing, but you have to look at it over a fairly ugly roof. Lots of potential needs an investor.

Beautiful old inn right on a bay off the Sound. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good and healthy.

Beautiful property, very nice room up on the third floor, staff is friendly and helpful. Dog friendly property, too - walking along the grounds and adjacent shore was lovely this morning. We will definitely return for another visit.

The property was very nice. Loved the old time home feeling of the room.

Beautiful grounds and view of the water. Very clean and nice room. The breakfast restaurant was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
