The staff was really nice. Room looks really good. But if you like to take a shower with hot water, that’s not the place for you. I had basically to shower two days in a row with cold water because it didn’t matter how long I left the shower on the water would not get hot. I expect more from a facility that carries the Marriott name for that to happen.

The location area is ok. Lots of places to eat near by. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wires were felt from the bed and one side of the bed was sunken in. Horrible 2 nights. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend.

We arrived late from an International flight only to find out they were overbooked. They had sent me an email informing us that they booked a room at another hotel for us. I hadn't seen it. We then had to find the new hotel and check in, which by then was much later. We also lost out on the breakfast that was supposed to be included.

Manager Patrick "runs a first-class hospitality operation" at TownePlace Suites by Marriott FLL Weston: First, Patrick himself and everyone on his front desk staff goes "above and beyond" in courtesy, efficiency and helpfulness. For a solo, senior female traveler with medical issues to get assistance pushing her incoming (and later outgoing) luggage through the doors when she is struggling is so helpful. This occurred with a young female staffer's help "in" and then at departure with Patrick himself, bravo. (The fact that there were functional luggage carts, so welcome, too.) Second, housekeeping and maintenance are tops. Third, Joseph laid out an excellent spread of food and beverage items for breakfast and refilled them I liked everything. See above. I'd not change a thing. The bedroom was excellent and all so clean, the kitchenette was well stocked, the desk area was ergonomic, the bathroom was clean and well supplied - and the bed was so comfortable and had lots of pillows. Well done, all.

I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The room had roaches, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Overall, it was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

I was told my room would be lightly cleaned every other day - that never happened. I asked about it and they said they would come the next day they NEVER came!!!!!!!!!

Location is a huge plus and the outside looks very nice, however the inside of the property is in need of TLC. Carpets in hallways and the room are pretty worn out. Room chair has worn out arms, hallway walls need some painting. Basically some TLC would go a long way in favor of maintaining the hotel

The rooms were fine. Absolutely no housekeeping at all during the four day stay despite requesting three times with the female manager on reception. Filthy lift, filthy corridor ( third level) soiled napkins and tissues apparent after three days on floor. Covid signs , years out of date still in lifts, reception and corridor, overflowing rubbish bins at main door of reception

The place was nice but didn’t like how when I checked in and was asked if i could have upgraded because am a marriot member the lady told me no because i booked my hotel through Expedia and not through the hotel it self but when i emailed and spoke to them via chat the lady told me that i could and also asked me if i wanted her to block the upgraded room that i requested and i was willing to show her my communication with me and the agent but she seemed like she didn’t care and was not interested snd understanding to my request and or need she was a lil rude !!!! Also the other cleaning staff was nice especially the lady that works in a cafeteria she very happy and friendly and being in the hotel industry my self that was good customer service!! The rooms were clean but however i saw two cockroaches in the room one was dead on the floor and I had to kill one on my last morning when i was leaving but other than those two situations i think ill visit again and next time getting a more bigger room in which i wanted because it was me my husband and our 15yrs old daughter and if u know ya know we need adults time lollll online the set up and what it’s saying is a lil different but other than that ill stay back here again

I qas pleasantly surprised at how spacious my room was! Check-in was a breeze, and there are plenty of stores in the area. The only thing I would note is in my building, there weren't any elevators, so I was glad I didn't have much luggage!

We arrived late at night and were told there were still restaurants open nearby, we had our dinner there at 11:00PM. That's such a happy surprise because the area is suburb, we only expected some convenient store food at that time. The complimentary breakfast is not bad too.

The room was at 60 degrees when I checked in and I stayed very cold until I left. I turned the ac off but still stayed super cold. The sofa was like sitting on a piece of wood and the bed lumpy. In addition the TV couldn't get a signal so couldn't watch TV. Bathrooms need to be updated. Lady checking me in was very nice though moving me to the first floor. The building didn't list if it was A B etc. Hard to locate the correct building

The property was very conveniently located near Cleveland Clinic, places to eat, and stores. The place was a bit on the older side, but I noted the signage advising they were renovating floor-by-floor and building-by-building. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My problem was with the reservation process. I made it through Booking.Com for one price and was charged more at check in. I questioned this without success. I had telephoned the hotel ahead of time to confirm, so I thought I had done my due diligence. It was a disappointment. See above comments.

Could not air it out sufficiently to banish the odor. Perhaps something was spilled on the carpet in a hard to access location? This was the only downside to an otherwise great stay.

Hotel is well centered in towne. Across from Publix, shopping and many restaurants. No need to get in car! can use the Midtown athletic club, we did each day and it was great. Breakfast was good. Pool area is there......not very inviting

The parking situation at this property was not ideal. There is only valet and you have to pay. It is close to the airport but not close to the beaches or downtown area unless you have a car and are willing to drive. The area is not the safest. That being said, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Cool little efficient apartment The bed was bigger than the platform it was on and it kept rolling off to the side on each side. My husband and I could hardly sleep because we had to stick to the center without falling off. Also, the TV did not work all night.

Good. Servers kept it freshly stocked, cleaned, and maintained. A little more food selection would have been nice. Fake eggs ( egg whites with yolk coloring ) are at best a “C minus”. The scrambled eggs were much better. Staff interaction was excellent.

Especially in the cleaness of the rooms. We had to change our original room due to a strong foul odor, but the second one, while better, wasn't clean as well. Disappointing experience, especially since the Towne place suites is our favorite hotel in Fort Lauderdale and as a chain. We were traveling to SW Florida and stayed at the same hotel in Estero Ft. Meyers and the standard there was clearly higher. We're hoping that this review will help to improve the quality standards of the hotel as we'd love to come back there.

The breakfast was good, however adding bacon and potatoes would have been appreciated. Management was always very professional and accommodating. I am looking forward to our return in May. No change in the breakfast choices, sausage and eggs every morning. Occasional Beacon and hash browns would be appreciated.

It was modern, comfortable and spacious. Staff were wonderful and helpful. There were upgrades done on the property, so from the pictures I saw of the rooms, when we got there it was entirely different but in a great way. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The wirst place I have aver stayed. I paid for 2 adults and 2 kids and the sofa-bed is just a table, one of my kids had to sleep with us. I would like to ask for a partial refund of this terrible hotel, It is just like a hauted hotel.

If you aren't way too picky about cleanliness, you will be just fine. Definitely pet friendly, easy and plenty of free parking, Publix and walgreens just across the street. Now, carpet snell bad but after a day you just don't notice anymore , I stayed 4 nights first floor room 113, bedroom was "clean" ned is comfortable and sheets were very clean and almost brad new, A/C works and water pressure was good int the shower , again room was clean enough if you aren't too picky and don't check every corner in the room. Front desk really nice people. They are doing dome "renovations breakfast isn't great.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the room had a musky smell. I got there at 1am after a long drive and by 4am I had to leave because it was that uncomfortable

The room was clean...however the shampoo etc seemed to have been used...we only stayed one night and did not notice them until it was too late...told the GM at checkout he apologized half hearted but nothing else...The halls are drab and the hotel could use a touch up...It is probably the worst Marriott I have stayed at and will look elsewhere if we go back in that area...The pool needed to be cleaned also

First day we found a cockroach. And we have to request housekeeping twice in 1 week.

This property is in need of repair. There was only semi-warm water on 2 of the 5 nights I was there. The rest of the time it was cold. Furniture is in need of repair (broken coffee table). Toilets are iffy and slow

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The water for the shower could be hotter but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was mostly great. It was under construction and our room smelled pretty strong of construction chemicals. Maybe an off-gas? Other than that great.

Nice area. Hotel was decently priced. Big 2br suite. Smelled horribly of mildew and was a little ran down. Needs some renovations but was a comfortable stay.

It was easy to check in and out with our kids, the staff are the front was really nice and helpful. It was a perfect room for a family of 4.

My stay was just one night but it was very uncomfortable as the tv was next to the bed and the pillows were so flat I was up all night. The next morning my husband went to have breakfast and there wasn’t anything to eat. It was not that busy. I saw a man that was suppose to be stocking the food just look and walk away. Never replenished it. We ended up at Dunkin’s which is better but this shouldn’t happen .when asked to leave a review on their sight I got an email saying they will address this in the future. And to come back. They didn’t offer to do anything for us.

rooms were a good size with nice longer stay options (fridge, cooking, counter, utensils). breakfast area was a bit small and crowded in the morning. great location close to shopping and dining.

My review is not better for just one reason: cleanliness. The room had a very strange and strong smell. We reported it, and (at our suggestion) an ozone machine was used. However, while it subsided a bit, it was there for our whole stay. Housekeeping was erratic: while the hotel policy states that it is done every other day, maybe two or three days passed without it being done, until we specifically wrote the front desk to request it. Overall, not a bad experience, specially considering the price, and the fact that it has a very usable kitchen.

Very clean and the staff was amazing!

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the a/c was so loud when turning on and off - didn't sleep at all. Very old. Needs to be completely remodeled. Staff checking in very nice - this morning when checking out didn't ask how stay was. Oh and pillows were flat. For almost $200.00 for 1 night extremely disappointed.

Where do I begin. I would love to commend the staff firstly for delivering such a superb customer service. There was an incident in the room with one of the family members while my mother and I was at Cleveland clinic. We were unable to move, and contacted the hotel to advise of the emergency and they acted swiftly by assisting the individual who is disabled in our absence. The front desk staff are always friendly and ready to give great customer service. The housekeeping and domestic staff members are very attentive and extremely helpful. I’ve seen comments of complaints regarding the hot water however, I think humans just like to complain in general. Management & staff quickly advised of the issue, and ensured that hot water was restored within a timely fashion. Additionally, the facility was very clean, quiet and had adequate parking. Overall, I give this hotel a full 10 out of 10 and this will definitely be a top choice of accommodation for another stay in the Weston/ Fort Lauderdale area!

Next room air condition did not work Very disappointed

One night stay w/adult daughter. Arriving at night - it was a bit challenging to find main entrance. More lighting/ bigger signage would have been helpful. Gentleman at front desk - OK. Could have provided more info. AM desk folks/b'fast accommodator quite pleasant/helpful. Room was plenty large, quite clean. Bed looked more like a "full" than a "queen." Suites are across the street from a quaint shopping area.

I showed up and no one was at the front desk to check in. Some guy finally walked out of the back closet and acted like i just woke him up from a nap. I was asking questions and he just was mumbling and acting annoyed. My room smelled absolutely horrible and was not in good condition. It smelled like an old stinky house and my bed was not comfortable. Would not stay there ever again

I like the full kitchen, it was perfect for my stay while visiting the doctors at nearby Cleveland Clinic which is located just three minutes away.
