    Staff was very helpful and easy access for parking, though there’s a weird smell as I enter the building and the halls of my room but that didn’t bother me too much. The appliances in my room were working but the floors were pretty sticky as well has having WiFi problems. The shower pressure was pretty good better than most hotels I’ve been too in the area. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and definitely recommend it.

    This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. I left the next day. There is no one at the front desk during certain hours. The toilet was leaking from the bottom water was all over the floor. The employees are rude. People live in the hotel. People had dogs in the hotel which I’m allergic to I broke out in hives. The towels were dirty. I have stayed at other Extended Stays before this was the worst one. Strange people were walking the halls all night I did not feel safe at all. If I could rate this a zero I would.

    My room needed a deep clean, some repairs, and basic supplies (extra linens, shampoo/conditioner, etc.). It was adequate for the price and for a night's stay. I felt it was in a safe location that wasn't far off the interstate.

    In first week, no housekeeping. Second and third weeks you need to reserve housekeeping. You need to take out your own trash to dumpster. If you want clean sheets or towels, you take used to fromt desk to exchange and change yourself. If you need soap or toilet paper, you go to desk to get it. $1.00 surcharge on all calls, even if not completed.

    If they give you room number 307 please do not take that room. T.v. is completely broken and the staff knew this before booking and still gave the room out. The bathroom door is literally falling off the henges. It look like there was a full blown out fight inside that room and no staff has taken responsibility to fix the room.

    when checking in, i arrived at 3 and there was no one at the front desk. the front desk agent did not show back up until almost 40mins later. She checked me and several other guest in and when i went to my room, there was trash in the garbage cans and hair in the shower. the heater also did not work. I went back to the front desk and explained all this and asked for another room and the young lady was visibly annoyed and her tone was not very professional. I will make sure not to visit this hotel again.

    Found a cockroach on my headboard. Went to check out right away. Front desk didn’t seemed surprised and sympathetic. She gave me my full refund but I somehow lost it? I saw on my bank statement that I paid it, got the refund but still got it taken out. Never staying at an Extended stay again. My dad is also staying one in a different state for work and found some too including his co workers that are staying there as well. Disgusted and disappointed.

    On 12/13/25 approximately 12am I stayed at the Extended Stay in the Westmont IL location until I noticed a cockroach on my bed headboard. After I took a video and photo of it, I packed up my things and went straight to check out and contacted the front desk. I spoke with the front desk lady about it and asked for a full refund. She did not hesitate. She didn’t show sympathy nor any face expression and didn’t seemed surprised at all. Which tells me that this isn’t the first time. It honestly disgusts me worse since I have stayed here more than a few times for work. It’s very disappointing if this is a still ongoing issue. Something must be done. Along with the other issues that I’ve had staying here, this made the final straw that I will never return there and will highly recommend others on not staying there too. Luckily, I went to another hotel down the road. They even gave me a discount for the horrible night which I truly appreciate it. They even stated they have got more business because of how horrible that place is. I truly believe it.

    The room was filty and very unsanitary. From razors being left behind, hair ledt in the tube, and pee on the seat of the toilet to name a few. The staff we not present durring after hrs and was not able to assist. I will never stay there again

    This was overall a horrible experience. My wife and I chose this hotel because it was close to where we moved. After moving for 2 days and not getting any sleep, my wife and I just wanted to take a shower and rest. We packed our bag and headed up the street and was met with the dirtiest room I have ever experienced. The bathroom had not been cleaned (the trash can was not emptied and the tissue had been rolled around in a bunch), there was mold on the tub and there were blankets of dust on appliances such as the heater and smoke detector. We did not feel comfortable using the bathroom and showering so we just laid in the bed fell asleep with our clothes on. We left the hotel sooner than checkout but the office was closed so we just came back when the office opened to check out. I took pictures of the room as proof. Honestly if I could rate this a zero, I would. I would like a full refund due to this experience.

    It needs a total makeover the staf when I came did the best they could to accommodate, put me in a room with plumbing issues and the attendant who worked Saturday October 25, 2025 from 9a-10p was very rude and mouthy about how it's not her fault the rooms are not clean and that's housekeeping job and when I told if the housekeeping personnel is unavailable then it is her job to accommodate me and she said no she didn't care how I felt because if she wants to she can just have me escorted off the premises it doesn't bother her one bit. I'm Sure that's not the way you should trip out of state guess and if they are for local patrons I feel like that should be made known when considering their property for lodging.

    My Key card did not work when I returned after 10pm. The front desk was shut down, no one available to assist me. I called a hotel number, the lady put me on hold for 10+ minutes, she never came back, I hung up. I called an again, the man said it would be 10+ min before someone would arrive to redo my key card. It took more than 30 min to resolve the issue. There were 2 other guests that also had issues but no one ON SITE, to handle them. Running a hotel with NO FRINT DESK PERSON AFTER 10pm means BAD SERVICE for guests. A REALLY BAD IDEA!!!

    This hotel had no service people after 10 pm to check in. We had to wait for the night attendant. Then we got a room #154 that had mold and mildew on the wall in the bathroom above the shower. Smelled of mildew and mold. Not clean at all. There was no shelves in the fridge, none in the freezer, and a broken cabinet. We requested another room and they said they were overbooked and could not give us a room. So they refunded my money for the other days and charged me for 1 day. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO BE CALLED ON THIS PLACE.

    The fridge didnt work at all. I told the front desk staff and they said they would have someone replace it and never did. The stove didnt work either. We only had one pillow for the entire room and my girlfriend and I were forced to share one pillow because the front desk said they had no more lol. Never again.

    There is nothing good to say about this location. I was booked for two nights and left after my first night. The room was not clean. Hair on the table top, mold on the shower ceiling, no shower curtain to even take a shower, an old Monster can was in the cabinet, not a single pot, pan or silverware - considering it was an Extended Stay you would expect to have the basic essentials available since that is the whole point. Gross and dirty. Do not stay here.

    They had no plastic water at all, not even a napkin unless you washed to purchase a dinnerware set. There was dried blood on one of the blankets. I reserved the room for 3 occupants and they only provided 2 towels so I had to twist more towels and clean blankets. When I needed to check out early, there was no means to do so. The reservation desk was closed, there was no place indicated to drop off your room key for check out. It was just extremely unorganized and dirty.

    After my shower, I noticed a huge water pile. Pretty sure it was the pipes cause it wasn’t the curtain cause of the amount of water that came out. Then, the hair dryer didn’t work, had to get a new one from the front desk. She was great and understanding. She said maintenance doesn’t come back until Monday. Luckily, I was only there for one night. Not too sure I would come back.

    Although, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, if you are looking for more comfort, this would probably not be the place for you. For starters, there are no bathrooms in the lobby area, so I would not advise putting off going to the bathroom until you get there. Secondly, although the desk clerk was friendly, there were many errors, or oversights on her behalf. Initially, when we got there, she was nowhere to be found. When we returned to the desk area and checked in, only my driver's license was given back to me, I didn't realize my credit card wasn't, until needing to use it later. When arriving to our room, neither of the two keys we were given would open the door; the clerk had not activated them, so we returned to the desk area and got new keys. Then, later in the evening, someone attempted to get into our room; fortunately, we had it latched, so the door could only be opened so far. When bringing it's to the desk Clerk's attention the next morning, we learned that it was someone who was going to be potentially staying there that was given permission to view a room, thus given the Clerk's key. The problem was, the clerk looked at an old reservation sheet, so it appeared that our room was vacant. Although our room was a suite, there were no dishes, utensils, cookware, etc... In addition, a shelf in our room was needing some repair - it was hanging, not properly secured. Tub shows wear.

    The Room I stayed in had a broken stove burner so cooking meals took a bit longer than I would have liked. Normally this hotel isnt too bad with noise, but this past weekend was the loudest its been. Dogs barking and loud music, stomping and yelling from the room above and next to me, people in the hallways running around and talking loud. Hallways smelled like smoke.

    This property, which is advertised on Expedia as including breakfast, does not have it, nor do they have any utensils to use in the small, old kitchen, nor do they have housekeeping service, and if you request clean towels you have to pay for them. The bathroom in the room I was assigned did not have electricity, so I spent my stay with a nightstand lamp in the bathroom. After 10:00 pm there is no service at the front desk, so if your room key stopped working you would have to sleep in your car. For all of the above reasons, I would never recommend this hotel if you are on vacation in the Chicago area.

    Garbage was advised to take it down ourselves otherwise there was a $50 fine. I can understand for the long term guests, but for what we paid for two nights it should have been included. The bathroom was not really clean. Found hairs on the tub when we got there. There was no Kleenex either. The neighborhood was safe enough but the hotel in general needs some work.

    The front desk service was excellent. The hallways were continuously dirty. Someone dropped a blue pill in the hall and it stayed there five days. The room i was in was clean but we did get a couple of roaches. When we brought it to the attention of front desk we got immediate service to spray the room. We did get constant cigarette smoke in our room.

    We arrived at the property late (midnight) we had called ahead and said we would be late. First all the doors to the entrance were propped wide open. The rugs were filthy, it appeared that the county was putting people in the hotel to stay for extended periods. The desk support person had to come down to the front desk. After we checked in we asked where to park and we were told around the side, when we got a round the side, when we got there a car blocking the way and it appeared to be some sort of drug deal happening. We left the property and found another hotel because it did not appear to be safe, clean or maintained.

    I was disappointed that the double room I reserved was not available, even though the computer said it was. When we went to the room, it was occupied. The clerk, once we woke her, gave me and my friend separate rooms at no extra charge. However, it took 4 room choices before I found a room I could sleep in. They were either still occupied, dirty or no sheets. Then, at 130am on my first night, someone tried to enter my room because the clerk forgot to register the room as occupied. Also, the inside door handle was broken off and left resting on top of the refrigerator. And, there were no USB wall outlets anywhere. Luckily, I brought my wall adapter. I used to think that the Extended Stay hotels were great, but it has been a long time since I stayed at one. Based on this experience, it will be a long time before I stay at another one. Overall, I would not recommend this site until MAJOR upgrades were made and after some staff retraining had been completed. Really disappointed and concerned for the safety of single travelers.

    reserved, and would like them to be close. He left the desk and came back another 10 minutes and told us we would have to wait for one of the rooms because it wasn’t cleaned yet. We went to one of the rooms (7 of us) and waited an hour for the room to be ready. We finally were able to settle in. The room was average but the beds were very hard. The bathroom was another story. I couldn’t tell if the tiles had been painted, but the grout lines were gross. Tub could have used rerouting. Lastly, I saw a cockroach scurry across the floor and run up inside the metal door frame, which had a gap at the bottom. Glad we only stayed one night.

    Although check in was great and the staff then were very amable and accommodating (they gave us 2 extra rooms due to and error on their end). It all went down hill when we noticed that there were bed bugs in 2 of the rooms we had reserved!!! Some of our family members woke up with bed bug bites! We wanted to let them know, but their office has limited hours of operation. Also, when we wanted to check out, we waited until 10:30am to return the keys, but they never showed up, despite having a sign that said their office hours for that day was from 10am-10pm!!! The place is nothing like the pictures and it is very run down and not clean. I could not sleep there so my partner, myself, and our dog ended up sleeping in our car. This is by far the worst hotel I have reserved and I do not recommend it at all.

    We had many issues with the lights that weren’t fixed. The shower didn’t have a way to keep the floor from being soaked as the curtain was way too short. There was almost never someone at the front desk for assistance. We were also told when we booked that their was an onsite gym, upon arrival their was none and additionally staff was rude when I asked about it.

    When I got to my ground floor room, I found that the window was open, the tv was on and someone had been smoking a lot in my non-smoking room. There was black mold all over the bathroom ceiling, the kitchen was dirty and the cabinet doors were broken, there was food or something on the ceiling and stuck to the smoke detector, the carpet was damp and the tv would not turn off. Because the front desk closes from 10pm to 10 am, I could not get a new room. There was no ice machine in the building or ice trays in the room and my key did not unlock the vending room. Again, no hotel staff on site after 10. The carpets throughout the hallways were dirty and sticky. When the front desk was finally staffed again, the clerk acted like this was nothing new and did not apologize. She moved me to a smaller room, but I had to insist on a discount for the downgrade.

    On a positive note, all the staff I interacted with were polite & pleasant. The hotel is in a location convenient to shopping and highways and was generally quiet. In addition, I travel with a service dog, and appreciate facilities the easily accommodate that, and are compliant with the ADA. I would consider staying here again only if the room was in better shape--at least without the mold

    Made reservations for the 4th of July weekend, we got there on time but our room wasn't ready. We waited about 40 minutes so they can give us a dirty room. We left to see the fireworks, when we came back my kids took out the bed from the sofabed, ages 9 and 12, they were horrified when they saw the mattress so dirty, we thought there picked it up from the garage. My husband and I were thinking of leaving the hotel but since it was very late our baby age 1 was already sleeping, we were tired of drinking, I went to complain nobody was there, until I called a number someone showed up and said there were no rooms but they can give me a roll on bed, until tomorrow morning so the manager can give me another room. So they promised on changing our room, so we left to the city, they said the new keys to our clean room would be in the table, which they lie, we got there our room was locked, we needed to get in to get our things so again nobody was in the front desk, until 25 minutes later whe I called again, they open my door, I asked her which was our new room, she said she didn't have no clean rooms for us, so at the end we were there for 4 days 3 nights in that dirty room, at the end the manager refund me the days. Very bad experience, will never stay in that hotel again. There excuse was the they don't have enough house keepers

    Pros - inexpensive and convenient location. Cons - indifferent and unfriendly staff at desk, shabby conditions in room, broken elevator, room air conditioner sounded like a truck with a bad muffler, minimal toiletries (one bar of small soap), worn mattress that had a pronounced dip/indentation, bad pillows, musty room smell.

    When we first arrived it was very late so the lobby was closed I expected to have a difficult time but there is a phone in the entryway to call someone to come to the reception area. It was pretty easy and she didn’t seem to be bothered by me waking her up. Then we went to our room which wasn’t clean at all. It was only half done by housekeeping so I had to go back down to reception, wake the lady up again for the second time, and move all of our stuff back down to the first floor to our new room which was very clean for a pet friendly room, larger than I expected, and right next to an exit door making it easier for my dog which is the reason I gave 4 stars. All in all they fixed the issue quickly so I would definitely stay again if needed.

    For one night stay it was ok, not good or excellent. If is call extended stay does not show that, no cooking supplies, no silver ware, no toaster. The bathroom was very unkept and does not look good. The tub is very slippery and somebody could get hurt. The reception is very I had to wait about 1/2 hour for somebody to come to the front desk. Also for the internet a room number I had I could not use for internet, they put a different number than the room number and the phone was not working I had to come back to the front desk. The refrigerator was making a very loud sound and I had to turn it off. Not very good I think you get what you pay for. But for about 15 dollars more I could stay in a better place.

    The check in process was good! However the room was not that clean and had a musty smell. It also was uncomfortable. The bathroom faucet leaked and almost fire hazard. It was close to the event i was going to, so that was good. But i will not stay at this location again.

    I was not pleased with this Hotel. Front desk reception was not hospitable. The room smelt like cigarettes, the bed was so squeaky and uncomfortable to sleep in. I had reversed the room for 3 nights, after the 1st night I checked out.

    Room 309 seems to be unfinished or really neglected. Dead flies on the counter top and near bathroom sink, the stovetop emitted a gas like smell when in use, overhead fan left burnt odor as well, showerhead had a leak and the drain had a tampax wrapper stuffed in it. The desk in the room wobbled as if it was going to break. The rooms at this extended stay seem to be hit or miss. I paid for the deluxe studio but the previous rooms ive had were more "deluxe" than this one
