Was supposed to be cancelled didn’t have the right room and it was dirty/not cleaned yet

I was very disappointed our room was changed three times, and the last room the sheets were dirty they did come and clean them however i shouldn't have to ever experience that at all. We were to scared to eat breakfast because of the room being not up to part we only spent one night there the price wasn't bad but everything else was horrible.

Rooms were extremely clean and quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, although it could have used some fresh fruit to go with their other offerings. The pool was clean although a bit chilly. Courtyard was beautiful. Would definitely stay again when in town.

Terrible experience got a room with a jacuzzi just to walk in to a dirty jacuzzi that hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long front desk tried fixing it by moving me to another room I allowed it just to walk in to a bigger mess on top of the air conditioner there was a pile of ants all over totally unexceptable

A bit rundown, no elevator, dirty sheets and towels. Loud pool and party scene. Okay breakfast.

Our room definitely had mold on the ceiling, and the shower didnt not drain so if you used it you were standing in human soup. The bed was comfortable at least.

We had two rooms, in one room the sheets were dirty and the air didn’t work. In the other room the air was lukewarm. We were finally given two new rooms , after staying for 3 days we had to ask for towels each day and for the trash to be emptied.

Smelled like pot in hallways, no ac in dining area, pool was dirty, found hair clump floating in pool.

No one at the desk when I arrived to check in, had to wait for some time, door to room didnt latch properly and there were no towels in the room. Had to go ask for towels from the front desk and had to wait again as there never seemed to he anyone there. One of the guys working the front desk spent over 30 minutes washing what appeared to be his own car in front of the hotel. Hotel had the feel of one that USED to be upscale but was sold off and managed poorly, would not stay here again for the price we paid for one night. I will mention they did offer free breakfast included, that we did not partake in so I cannot comment on that.

THE POOL THE BREAKFAST STAFF WAS RUDE AS FUCK HAD TO GET KEYS ALL DAY DUE TO NOT WORKING

Rate Keys always malfunctioning, window lock broke so couldn’t be locked and we were on ground level. Outside door by room never locked to outside. Vending machine broke. Cereal was stale. Pool was freezing cold and not real clean. Room was never cleaned and when I asked about it I was told we had to request the room be cleaned 24 hours in advance, something that should have been communicated to us when we checked in. Desk phone in our room didn’t work, not even a dial tone.

I’d stay again. Modest room but no complaints from me.

The hotel was in poor condition overall and did not meet basic expectations. The property appeared run down, with visible signs of neglect throughout. Several items in the room and common areas were broken or poorly maintained, giving the impression that repairs are not being prioritized. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The pool was dirty and did not look properly maintained or safe for use. Common spaces reflected similar concerns. There were also concerns about the environment around the property. People appeared to be living in and around the hotel, including outside areas, which affected the sense of safety and comfort. Overall, expectations for a clean, well-managed hotel were not met. The experience fell below standard, and significant improvements are needed in maintenance, cleanliness, and property management.

We had a decent stay here. The room had all the basic necessities (tv, mini fridge and microwave) and was fairly clean other than a soda can filled with cigarette butts left on the balcony. The property definitely needs some maintenance and we didn’t feel like we could swim in the pool as it had very cloudy water and you couldn’t see past your thighs in waist deep water which was very unfortunate because we specifically wanted a hotel with a pool. The pool was also very small with a max depth of 5ft. We didn’t have the breakfast both days we were here so I can’t rate the food. We didn’t spend much time in the room because we were doing other things in the city so it was just a place to sleep for the night which was overall ok.

It would of been nice to have chairs in the room. You had to sit on the bed or a very uncomfortable and broken couch.

The hotel is rundown and definitely needs to be updated. Paint chipping and pealing everywhere, carpet was dirty in hallways. Latch to lock door was broken and falling apart. The unit we were in did not have a elevator so you have to carry everything upstairs.

This place gave motel vibes instead of hotel, I wouldn’t eat their breakfast they serve and I wouldn’t use their pool. They gave us a dirty room at first I had to ask for cleaner room.

The property has a lot of potential. I liked how clean it was, the bed was nice and comfortable, and I love that they had two microwaves and two mini fridge in the room. The floors could use some work. $160.00 was a little pricey, even for Memorial Day weekend given how much work this property needs. There were even old couches, tables and chairs sitting outside of the property. The aesthetic was terrible. There were stains on some of the chairs in the room. I think maybe water stains because a lot of parents bring their children there for the pool. The big tv should’ve been in the bedroom not the living room. There were cops outside of the hotel and they just happen to be looking for something on the ground outside of our room and the flashlights they were using outside of our bedroom window woke us up. They even glanced inside of our room thru the window and we are people of color. It made us feel very uncomfortable. The locks on the doors should be updated too.

Nothing. We were unable to stay because of the unsanitary room conditions. The first room had dead ants throughout it. After reporting it, we were moved to a second room, but that room also had serious cleanliness issues, including hair, debris on the floor, heavy dust behind the furniture/bed frame, and overall unsanitary conditions. Because both rooms were unacceptable, we left early and did not stay overnight.

It was a ok experience, the hotel do not have an elevator, the staff were kind of nonchalant but other than that it was okay.

It seemed as if the hotel was undergoing some sort of renovations. There was no coffee maker in the room and the sigh up front asked guests not to take food or drink back to the rooms. Bathroom smelled very musty. The smell of marajuana was very heavy in our hallway.

This was an average Hotel and was what I would have expected except, the hotel was undergoing renovations and there was dust and construction going on. Staff was super friendly and the bed was more than comfortable. We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi which was clean and worked well. Overall, this stay is 3 stars, and would have been 4 had there not been construction.

Stayed Friday-Monday in a room with a hot tub. The jets in the hot tub are extremely forceful. Water pressure strong in bathroom as well. Fridge and microwave good. Only one electric outlet near the bed. Kept hitting the metal frame of the bed when i got in and out of it which was annoying. Ice machine was down on my side of the building. Standard breakfast with eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits, waffles, and basic items. Building could use some updates. 2 floor building with no elevator so if you bring a lot of things or unable to climb stairs good luck. Some staff were friendly and accommodating while some others were inattentive. Courtyard was nice.

This was a good stay in every way but we were most impressed with the pillows… exceptionally comfortable, and the ample breakfast. The person who checked us in wasn’t very friendly but the person who checked us out made up for it.

I love the jacuzzi tub. I also love how the seating for breakfast gives you a restaurant vibe, and the pool wasn't overly cold. There were multiple holes in the wall. It says no pets when booking but heard a dog barking most of the time I was there. The towels were dirty. The staff wasn't mean or rude, they just really didn't talk to you they weren't that friendly. The mattress just set on top of springs there was no box spring or anything back was hurting after first night

The room stunk so bad I couldn’t sleep!!! It was an old musty carpet smell. I even tried to spray Lysol but it only helped for about 5 minutes. I told the gentleman at the front desk and all he had to say was sorry I will tell my manager. Do not stay at this hotel it was truly gross!!!

The breakfast did not offer fresh fruit which should be provided. The pool was very cloudy. We had to switch rooms after 3 nights because our heater stuck on and would not shut off. There were many different sounds that kept us up through the night. When we were leaving, there was a company cleaning a room that had a fire in it!! The staff was very accommodating though.

Primary reason for the rating was our stay was very noisy!

Bed and pillows comfortable Woke up in the morning and there was a cockroach on the best right in front of the cockroach paid extra for a hot tub and the just did not even work on the hot tub. One side works fine and the other side did not work at all I have a video of it and pictures of the dead cockroach because we killed the cockroach but What if there’s a cockroach in our belongings and we take it home that were in trouble and have to get an exterminator there are roaches at the hotel. We’re not working at our hot tub. We will never stay here again. Terrible terrible. Fun about it and all they said was OK and they wrote it down that’s it.

Only thing I liked was the location was only 7 minutes away to where I needed to attend on Saturday. I didn't like that they tried to take my payment at 1am on Friday and I picked pay at property. Also didn't like that the microwave in my room was broken the fridge made a horrible sound the whole time. Their ice maker wasn't working. The pool water was freezing. They don't allow people to take breakfast to their rooms. At night when others are beint loud at 3am running the hallway and you call to complain they don't do anything about it. The tables in my room weren't clean. Not enough towels in the room. No elevator is absolutely crazy to me.

Our door to Terrace was broken I reported right away was not fixed this is a safety concern for me and my family we ended up having to put Furniture in front of the patio door .the room was quite dirty and a lot of spots splattered on the wall stuff. dripping down the sides of the bed sticky stuff in front of the TV . I stepped on Taffy that was in the carpet. Table hanging off wall , lots or damaged surfaces in the room. The pool's hours start at 12:00 p.m. which is an inconvenience for families with kids. It was very cold water and overcrowded. the breakfast did not change it was the same everyday. Beds tilt toward wall. There was no coffee pots in the room ended up getting coffee at gas station until I asked on the second day and they said the coffee and the breakfast bar was 24 hours. Was very disappointed with our room and stay . We are not from the area but dont feel we will return here .

Breakfast was good however we paid extra for the suite with the spa tub and there was maintenance wrong with it and they were not willing to accommodate only willing to just give us our money back and send us on our way and it was a very simple fix yet we were told there was no maintenance man and although it was very early in the day They could have been more accommodating to our request about the spa tub we paid extra for also, there was other rooms available, but they refused to let us transfer to another room for seeing us to either stay in the one we had or leave completely last minute

I had a jacuzzi room the room looks nice from a quick view with the shades closed but once I turned on lights and opened blinds that room was horrible first off there is an ant problem second of all the set up of the room is a good idea but poorly installed the shower floor floods and water will pool up around your ankles there is nowhere to sit your shower items the jacuzzi tub water kept going out after many failed attempts we gave up the floor wasn’t properly swept and the people that were staying there for her weekend did not obey quiet hours

The idea and the name of the place also located close to restaurants. The glass coming in to building was so dirty I felt the whole place would be dirty the garbage cans in the halls were also very dirty and the carpet was littered and dusty everywhere. Definitely could smell Marijuana in the halls. The room was fairly clean but I did find blond long hair in the pillows to dark to really see everything I had to use a flashlight. The noise was disturbing all the time and large amount of children. I was under the impression that this was more of a romantic adult catered hotel. It definitely has the potential to be so much better. Im glad I had a discounted rate i would have been very upset if I had paid full price for the jetted tub room. I didn't use the jetted tub because there was no light to see if it was clean.

The staff was very kind, bed was decent, the jacuzzi tub was nice size. Hotel could definitely use some updating. There were very obviously patched holes in the walls and spots on the ceiling where the ceiling had leaked. The refrigerator in our room didn't have the door to separate the freezer portion from the refrigerator portion. So anything we put in the refrigerator froze. No coffee pot in the room.

The breakfast(cereal)had already been sitting out on the counter the night before so we couldn’t eat breakfast, the walk to room was very dangerous because of the slippery floors, and just overall not accommodating.

The handle to get in the pool is loose and needs to get fixed and smoking should not be allowed in the room

Hotel is old and outdated. I was expecting a more modern facility. Upon arrival, there was only 1 staff working. There were 3 customers ahead of me and at least 4 behind me. The room didn't have a TV remote so we had to call the front desk for one. The bathroom doorknob was loose and needs to be screwed in. The railing/banister leading up to the second floor was broken . For the price paid ($138) for 1 night, the facility could have been nicer. I don't see me staying here again!!! See above.

Everything about Chicago Club Inn was exceptional! It was clean,stylish, roomy with excellent service in the free breakfast area. Food was good and service was attentive and efficient. Very tasty breakfast spread.The hotel surpassed all my expectations. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment I checked in. The full time manager TINA was above and beyond with all the stress I was dealing with in my life.Exceptionally friendly including housekeeping and other staff members with different roles. The view of the courtyard when I open up my back door was splendid...Gazebo, barbecues to cook on, lawn chairs to stretch out on...on a nice sunny day now that April is approaching. Fast Wi-fi. Great location to walkable stores. I enjoyed the pool. Very clean...water at a good temperature. Room was always tidy and fresh. Angie was also such a hard worker doing many jobs. This hotel treated me with care and made me feel extremely safe. As a single traveler, that can be quite hard to come by. Very high appreciation and thanks to Amelio and Mike. They always helped me move with all my belongings. Definitely went the EXTRA mile. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Hotel smelled musty cotton balls, our room reeked of must an smoke. Very poor cleaning was done in the room. Lamp cord even had clumps of dust, the tiles around the Jett tub and on the floor were broke, Jett tub wasn’t fully functional as some of the jets didn’t even work. The bed had 5 small pillows an no large ones which was weird. Bathroom sink was cracked. Breakfast was a joke, we went down around 8am an it didn’t end until 9am but they were almost out of Everything a didn’t bother to refill it. Cream cheese for bagels was bad so ended up throwing what little I got away.

The first night we noticed that there weren’t any sheets on the sofa bed and no blanket. My sister had gotten sheets from the desk early in the day, but no blanket. The night staff person said they didn’t have any blankets and people just sleep on the sheets, but there were no sheets on it. I bring my own extra soft blankets everywhere, so my sister used the blankets from the bed, and I used my own. The next day staff person knew where the blankets were and brought a brand new one for my sister for the sofa bed. In spite of these things, we had a nice stay. The pool was good, the courtyard is cute & nice. The housekeeper lady is friendly & helpful

Bed sheets were stained and there was a fresh sauce stain on one of the beds. Microwave could not be used due to it possibly exploding in your face. Air conditioner screen kept falling off. Blow dryer not working. Could not wait to check out.

Jacuzzi in room 256 was not fully working. Only the front jets was working. MOST HORRIBLE IN TERRIFYING WAS THE HOTEL CAUGHT FIRE ON OUR FLOOR Barely heard fire alarms. Hurt myself n left belongs still no call back after trying to retrieve my belongings. Also came out to smoke filled Hallway hurt myself again trying to escape. No 1 even tried to knock on doors 2 alert us.

No thwre was no kitchen. The room was nothing like the pictures. It was hair everywhere. The shower water went down slow. No real light by the jetted tub. Everything was old. And the room smelled. the breakfast was awful. 2nd day breakfast area didnt look like it had been cleaned. Only thing that looked pleasing was the courtyard. Outside doors the locks didnt work. Floor by the shower and tub were dented in. And the breakfast area was FREEZZING COLD!!!! Definitely would not recommend....they have a lot of work to do with this property

I called the hotel before we even went to confirm the pool hours and I was told 7-9. When we checked in at the front desk I asked again, and I was again told 7-9 but when we went to go to the pool the next morning before checking out, we were told the pool did not open till 12. I would have gotten a hotel where we could swim if I would have known.

The hot tub,shower and bed saved the day. Staff was polite and did their best to fix the situation just over booked and under staffing. Breakfast was average coffee was excellent!! No food in rooms posted no coffee machine in room although it did have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Several guests had issues also and it seemed to be a regular thing for this property! It has great potential to be a good place to stay hopefully this was an really off weekend for them.

The room was great; everything seemed recently updated, the bed was comfortable, everything clean. Front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. The one negative was when people yelled/talked loudly in the hallway. I didn't hear any noise from the rooms on either side, but it seemed like maybe there's not much soundproofing in the wall facing the corridor. I know there's only so much the management can do to encourage guests to be quiet.

The room smelled like someone was smoking, the jets in the tub pushed out some gross stuff, the room is advertised as sound proof but was not and the shower leaked all out on the bathroom floor

The room wasn’t what they said when we got there. They say it is sound proof but we could hear the music blaring in the next room. The hotel is under renovations and looks run down. I fell in the bathroom trying to take a towel off the rack, as soon as I touched the town the whole rack fell off the wall because it wasn’t mounted correctly or secured properly.

For a quick get away outside of Chicago it was okay .. Jacuzzi bout be the only reason I come back 😂 breakfast can get a lot better everyone not recovering from a hangover 😂 but overall I'll be back for my Jacuzzi stay front desk was nice still waiting on my deposit to hit

When I was checking in, I started feeling nauseous once my mom and I got to the room. The smell got worse. I’m pretty sure they were smoking crack in their place. We were so sick. I think we were only there for three hours while I swam and showered we had to go to another hotel. I had to spend double the money

The room was cheap. The towel hook on the bathroom door was loose, the shower curtain rod was loose. One of the wall lamps was mounted crooked. The heater on my room didn't work very well and got how cold it was i needed heat. I accidently left a pillow in my room and when I asked about it, they said my room hasn't been cleaned yet so they didn't know yet if anything was found... that was 2 days AFTER i checked out... the towels had stains on them.

Chicago river walk , about 40 minutes . So if you looking for close commute don’t . Room itself id say is a 8/10 , the buildings initial sighting isn’t that great but it’s nicer on the inside . Just as pictures show

Everything to be honest

The jacuzzi tub was nice and clean. For half the price of some other hotels it wasn’t bad and included breakfast. Breakfast had sausage, biscuits and Gravy, eggs, bread, waffles, milk and cereal, juice and coffee. The only thing that would have been nice is if they mixed things up with some bacon or fruit or yogurt. Shower seemed a little dirty on the floor so that could be cleaned better. Otherwise we enjoyed it as a getaway from the kids and liked the mood lighting and fireplace!

The room was very dimly lit

Very bad customer service I asked if the rooms had coffee, including decaf. She said I don’t know. Check it out for yourself if it doesn’t have what you want go get it in town here somewhere.

The room was dirty, the shades barely made it. Dark, the lights were flickering, the Jacuzzi was hard to drain, the TV was broken, guess we’re running around for hours in the early morning and late night screaming and hollering constantly, heavy smell of marijuana and cigarette in the hallways and rooms. Staff was friendly though. The pool had not been cleaned in a long time it looked like there was stuff in it a lot. The room walls had holes in terrible patch jobs, there is LED lights on the ceiling surrounding leading into a open circuit

The room was not spotless. Dust and crap on floor by the headrest of bed. The tile thats around the jetted tube needs to be redone. The caulking job was really bad. Cant imagine all the water that is going through all them. Looks like it was remodeled but took the cheapest way possible. The hallways smelled. The bed was comfortable so that was a plus. The jetted tub in the room was nice also. But dont let the pictures fool you.

I walked to the front desk because the room phone wasn't working and asked for clean face wash clothes and it took over an hour for them to bring them. Definitely not a place to come with families. The energy seems very dark and I’m not surprised because you get what you pay for.

They say ‘soundproofed rooms’ but my husband and I had a conversation at normal volume from the bathroom to the outer hall. We could hear everything going on in that whole building. There was no access to any outside amenities, so don’t count on anything like the garden or grills. There was a door hanger for maid service in the room, which was used the first night to no avail. The second night I went and told a staff person I needed the old towels removed from our room and new towels delivered. They did not do so, by the third day my husband asked for towels again and they were rude about how ‘it’s our responsibility to inform them when we need service,’ but we DID for one and for two then why provide the room service door hangers!

Room heat wasn’t getting hot so they switched my room. I got in the new room and it had bugs in the bathroom, no remote control to the television, and the jacuzzi was dirty.

The hotel smelled like weed the second we walked in. The room smelled like mildew and we had to bring our key cards back twice to be reprogrammed because they stopped working and all side doors had a sliding key pad to swip key cards but the side doors were unlocked all night aonanyone would come in.

Had a wonderful time! Will be back.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location is convenient to restaurants, shops, and highways, which made it easy to get around and plan my days. The room felt comfortable, would definitely consider staying again if I’m in the area — especially for a restful night with that jacuzzi included!

The pool area wasn’t heated, the lights and tv didn’t work in the first room and when we got moved, the tub was spraying out mold.

Breakfast was limited and just not tasty, room was dirty, towel racks were rusty, breakfast dining was very loud in the halls at 6am and did not stop or quiet until sometime after 10am mold on the walls in bathroom hot tub jets only half worked water never got hot only warm bathroom sink hot water did not work

There is usually the same man at the front desk, but this time we had the pleasure of getting checked in by a woman that charged our card twice, and we have to wait days for our refund. We went to our room and it wasn’t cleaned properly at all. Sirty swim trunk & swim towel were openly on the closet door. Deodorant under the heating/cooling unit. Dirty & mixed match furniture. Kitchenette missing a door on the drawer. Ice bucket had pubic hair on it. My husband flagged down a staff member & they text the woman at the front desk. We were allowed to see her text, stating we weren’t getting another room & no one was going to come clean it. It was too late to find another hotel, so we went and got cleaning supplies & cleaned the room ourselves. We stayed too days house keeping didn’t even come to replace our used towels or take the trash. I’m extremely disappointed in the dismissive & unprofessional service we’ve received.

It was disgusting dirty. There were hairs all over the bathtub, the shampoo bottles were empty, there was leftover drinks in the refrigerator from previous host, the shower curtain was dirty. It seems they only do the bed but don’t clean throughly. I contacted the front desk and requested disinfectant spray to clean myself but they refused, I also asked for shampoo bottles & soap but said I have to come pick it up. Horrible service & dirty.

Great breakfast & the cranberry juice was sooo good! The guy at the front desk very nice when I asked to stay an extra hour & reasonable pricing to stay over as well! My only complaint was how cold it was inside the hotel outside of our room - it was like walking outside to our room Lol! But we kept the heat on while we were in the room and gone to keep the room warm too. Just glad the heat worked !

We love this hotel, but we did not have a great experience the last time the first room that we were originally supposed to have upon walking in we found that the lock was broken on the inside and on the floor and although I’m sure the electric keylock would’ve been perfectly fine. It did not make us feel very safe and so we were moved to a room on the second floor only to find that we did not have end tables on either side of the bed or lights and not only do we not have end tables there was one plug throughout the entire room besides the one in the bathroom that the hairdryer was plugged into we love this property and we love the large tubs which is why we come usually, but this stay was a little disappointing to say the least.

There is no jacuzzi other than in certain rooms. The place was clean, no bugs. I stayed 3 nights. The first 2 nights were very quiet, Sunday night was like a party in a room. Loud music people in and out, sitting in their cars all hours of the night

There was mold in shower and sink. The air conditioner was full of dust. They said no breakfast food in room because it'll attract ants, but if you clean then it wouldn't happen. Only saw laundry being done. No cleaning carts with vacuum/cleaning materials.

I was relocated to this hotel by Hotels.com after my originally booked hotel was not able to accommodate me. I arrived late and left early the next day. I appreciated the front desk attendant waived the $50 required deposit for me and just asked me not to smoke in the room. The property as well as the room are a little run down, but is relatively clean with a nice courtyard and indoor swimming pool. Worn socks in the hallway and boxes stacked in corners gave the place a messy feel. Lots of towels left in the pool area and loud noises of children behind closed doors indicated the hotel was a family stay over. I appreciated the "free" breakfast served in the morning which included hot foods.

There were bugs in bathroom. There was cigarette ash on toilet and living room desk. There were food plates with left over food lying in trash can Pillows were on floor. Room was stinking. Windows were left open. I couldn't sleep well, woke up early, didn;t feel like having breakfast due to hygienic conditions, checked out early morning and slept in my car. Expedia should refund my money back to me.

There should be a rules that kids shouldn’t be able to run in the building, no one should be able to hangout in the parking lot, shouldn’t be throwing an football or dribbling a basketball in the parking lot and needs to be accompanied by an adult.

The hallways constantly smelled of weed and cigarettes, except for a brief time on Tuesday when they were cleaned. The breakfast was poor and ran out quickly, so if you didn’t get there early, there was nothing left. The cereal—all of it—was rancid. The pool was unusable; you could tell it was extremely dirty and never maintained. Our room was never cleaned during our entire stay. Housekeeping didn’t check in with us or replenish basics like towels or toilet paper. Shockingly, we even found old butter behind the TV, which must have been left there by past guests. At the front desk, there seemed to only be one person working most of the time, with a different staff member appearing only on Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s clear the property is not being maintained properly. There is no elevator, the carpet is filthy and falling apart, and the chandeliers are full of spider webs. Overall, the property is not worth the stay. Do not stay here.

I loved the Hot tub in the room it was the reason i booked this hotel. The room was perfect especially the jakuzi. However the breakfast was awful but that is okay, we ate outside. The pool had to much chlorine which made me not enjoying the pool since the smell and the color show too much chlorine. The customer service was good, parking was included. The area is safe it was convenient for us shopping centers near by , restaurants near by. I would come back just for that room with the hot tub.

Definitely a work in progress kinda place. Newer owners must’ve gotten the place in bad shape but have clearly been actively renovating it, so it’s in a weird state of slight mid-repair currently. Would be nice to try again in a year or so to see if it’s better. Great breakfast & in room jacuzzi tub was very cozy. Recommend to couples looking for an affordable weekend getaway

First off this was definitely nothing we expected and the birthday girl was very upset! The room smelled like urine the whole 2 nights we were there , We missed breakfast , the vending machines are trash they barely even worked and it just didn’t give we would book here again wish there was more they could offer and show good standing for but it wasn’t a good stay for us we were so ready to get back home.

Called when booking andvspoke with a girl she confirmed a first floor larger lush suite. Upon arrival i got a 2nd floor small old room. No elevators!!! Room was dirty, bedding was dirty. No night stands to put phones ect on. No black out blinds so always bright in there and hot. Parking lot lights shine in all night. Not our first stay but will be our last. Very disappointed. Also entry doors never lock!!!

Loved it here. Took my man here for his birthday as a surprise the balcony view of the courtyard was amazing. He loved it he thinks we should always go here. We didn’t get a chance to get in the pool but it was nice. And VERY AFFORDABLE ❤️

The room was not very clean...and we had a jet tub but didn't stay in long because we started to notice floaties that didn't come from us. We didn't use the pool so I can't speak to that. But, it did provide an adventure and laughs so it was fun, just don't have very high expectations

I will not stay there again. Our room was horrible, paint falling off, bathroom toilet lose, shower rod and shower head falling out of wall, sink was leaking, refrigerator thermostat broke no freezer door, and the door lock on door broke and no screen door on patio. Very poor condition.

First let me point out the decent quality of this hotel... the hot tub was nice. However there was an Unpleasant odor on the room specifically around the refrigerator. I was too afraid to move and see if there was something behind it. Secondly there was long strings of hair on the pillow and sheets. The front desk had no knowledge of how to operate the hot tub when asked. Overall if you want a mediocre subpar hotel then this is your hotel. I will definitely be choosing differently next time!

We have stayed here several times and it has been nice. The property needs maintenance such as regular grooming of the grass and shrubs.

Even though housekeeping has to be requested the room still didn't feel clean after coming back. I was on the first floor of the hotel comma and it rained during my stay period thouthe water started leaking from the ceiling of my hotel room onto my bed. It's a three tries and order for me to get a simmy descent room transfer period. First move smell completely of smoke and they left the window open to fumigate the room. The second room given to me to transfer into was also leaking from the ceiling. Then the third room which was then on the second floor the sheets were dirty. Just beware....

Bed comfort

The hallways and facility were very dirty and odorous. My room appeared clean although very rough. There was a large hole in the bathroom door, holes in the walls, massive cracks in the flooring and grout. I only stayed 1 of the 2 nights I paid for as it was very uncomfortable to have to wear my shoes inside the room for fear of cleanliness.

Had a prepaid hot tub with a king bed room. Got up to the room to just freaking up before going out. Mold all around the ceiling of hot tub in the room. Tv did not work and no remote. Walls were dirty all around the hot tub in room. They had ceiling disco lights that changed color. The problem with these lights is even with switch off lights still flickering. Went to desk to get full refund but wasn’t able too because I prepaid with hotels.com. I not wanting to but did took another room. This room was at least clean except no working tv or remote as well. I had to go and get some help which I did get. The whole problem if anyone would have seen the first room that was giving to us and then seen the second room. Everyone would have questioned why give someone such a disgusting room when you have a room that is 100% better. I had a conversation with the front desk but to be honest they didn’t really care to hear what I had to say when I checked out.

At first, I was a little hesitant about staying here due to the reviews I read before booking, and hoping they could improve in those areas, I took a chance. It truly exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very quiet, and the breakfast was well-prepared and well-served. I really liked it. It's located in a convenient area for shopping and dining, with a variety of options nearby. The hotel needs a little more renovation work, but the staff's efforts to provide good service and maintain the cleanliness and comfort of its guests are commendable. I hope to return soon.

This place is nothing as shown in the pictures. Place was very old and not well kept. Halls smelt like marijuana. Walls dirty, carpet rip, office chair in room looks like it was garbage picked. I would not have been as upset if the cost wasn’t as expensive as a Hilton resort. Do not go here!!

Property seems like a mix of rental and hotel. The property is outdated, needs upgrade. Carpeting smells old, stained and faded.

One of my family worst experiences thus far. I'm sure there are motels better than this. From the moment we approached the entrance the carpet was dirty but I figured it was because they were busy. Next, the front desk attendant was so rude(of which I later found out majority of all their staff is that way. Then once we got to the room I realized the dirty carpet at the front entrance was an introduction to the statement "what you see is what you get!" My overall standpoint is "NEVER AGAIN!"

We were initially given a room with crumbs on the table, and a half empty beer can on the vanity. We were moved to a cleaner room. The sofa bed was a different type than most hotels, and had a very thin mattress.

Overall, the room was clean and comfortable.

First and foremost, the property upon arrival was unkept and parking lot was full of people loitering my partner felt very unsafe and the blinds in the room were broken and the bathroom was very musty. There was extensive amount of noise in the corridor at midnight and beyond. in trying to get a restful night sleep that made it impossible not to mention there were people knocking on my door at 4:00 am for no apparent reason and made my partner feel even more frighten. I surely do not want to be part of this Chicago Club and definitely won't ever return to this establishment. I do not recommend this hotel

Room was spacious, need to upgrade tvs to smart tv’s and get better WiFi service.. The side door was literally open all night unsafe. Kids running through hallway. Guest next door was what sounds to be a party literally music blasting all night. Not sure what breakfast like considering wasn’t anything but mini muffins and bread. Was supposed to have a room with a balcony didn’t receive when brought to front desk attention. She gave a blank expression. Overall will not book again. Could be a nice place if they invest in it!!

Things weren't very clean. Walls were thin so you could hear every conversation had in the hall. The front desk people just stared at me every time I was in their view.

The courtyard was beautiful, but the hours for it were inconvenient. The front desk guy was sweet and the staff for breakfast was great. Food at breakfast was hot, but nothing too exciting. I liked the options of biscuits and gravy, a waffle, eggs and sausage, or a bagel! There were even mini muffins. They kept the food stocked until the time was done which is appreciated for night owls. There was black stuff in the shower corners and caulk line. The sink drain was broken, but working. Bed sheets were clean, but while we were inspecting for bugs we found a giant yellow stain on the bed. Closet in bathroom had huge mirrors which was nice. Water was hot. Pressure was okay. Shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion quality was poor.

There were broken cabinet doors and a missing drawer in the kitchenette, other drawers that would not close and the security bolt was damaged and unusable. The deadbolt also was not functional. Arriving late at night I greeted the reception staff instead of the other way around and there was no one on duty when I left early the next morning. The entire property seemed to be in need of some investment, especially if they're going to charge nearly $300 for a room.
