But the bathroom was ok (minus the floor) Shower good and hot. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the create your own omelettes. The woman working the breakfast was super sweet. All of the front desk staff were friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would most likely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from adjacent rooms. Bad idea to put laminemt floors in upper rooms as it sounds like a herd of ele0hants over head!

Convenient location for us, as we needed to be close to Hinsdale. The room has everything you may need, a small refrigerator, hair drier, coffee machine, iron table and iron. So it serves the purpose. We had breakfast included but didn't try it as we didn't have time. The staff is helpful and always smiling, makes you feel good NA

Property is so clean and very well taken care of, front desk is also very kind and very friendly with how they go about making there stayers feel, I can’t stress enough how much they’ve really made the stay 10x better. Definitely coming back often.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was very good and they make omelets to order which I thought was awesome. I would definitely go back there.

When we checked in I was charged for a room that I had prepaid in full. Then they gave us a room in the basement. I asked the man at reception to refund the payment, which he couldn’t do — although it was fixed the next day. But the room was in a noisy area and with very little light. Not a great Best Western experience.

I stayed here for four nights while attending a nearby conference with a friend. The hotel is very clean and well located near major highways, roadways, places to eat, and even a train that goes into downtown Chicago is a short drive away. It is nice that they even have an enjoyable breakfast included with a room stay. The hotel also shares a large parking lot with a Chinese food center that has many types of authentic Chinese food as well as a Chinese supermarket, which was very affordable and enjoyable. It also neighbors a shopping center with more food options within easy walking distance. This was excellent for me as I arrived by taxi and without a car until my friend arrived the following day.

The nicest people run this hotel. We have stayed there multiple times for swim meets nearby and they are always so kind, helpful and professional. Clean rooms, generous breakfast, lots of free parking.

My daughter and I were staying for a family wedding. The first room was dirty but the front staff changed us to a different room with no problems. Breakfast was good. The only problem we really had was the water in the shower. It was extremely TOO HOT! Like burn your skin too hot. We both tried turning it down and adding more cold water, but it did not change.

The room was clean, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was subpar. Milk for cereal was slightly soured, and sausages weren't fully heated. Glad there are some fruits and yogurt.

Went to make a waffle at breakfast and saw the cockroach scurrying under the appliance…DISGUSTING! Lumpy, loud bed, so uncomfortable. Room smelled of bleach, not to prove clean but likely to cover up the level of dirty. Construction on site.

Rooms we nice and clean the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

It met my needs, the bed was comfortable, I like the soft pillows and the free breakfast. The hotel is a bit dated, poor lighting in the bathroom and they could have done a better job cleaning ie wiping down surfaces and cleaning hair from the corners of the bathroom.

The shower drain was not working properly.

The property is in a convenient location near great Chinese restaurants and store. The staff was really fabulous! So polite and helpful. Breakfast..homemade omelets! My room was comfy and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.

Rooms were never cleaned each day. Floors had hair in the bathroom, tub and on bottles. The hall smelled like mold

I would like to know where the amenities are. I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 3 months and didn’t know where the fitness room or ice machine was. Just be something nice to know upon check in. Other than that I really enjoy this hotel.

This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed at in the country. We saw a cockroach in our room. Skip and stay elsewhere.

I stayed here to break up a trip from the east coast to northern Wisconsin. Room was tidy, staff was friendly (I think it is family-owned), and area was quiet and safe. Stayed there at the beginning of my 2 week trip and again at the end. As a single female, I felt very safe and comfortable here.

No relaxing ambiance or air purifiers throughout the building

I am writing to formally request a full refund for both nights of our recent stay at the Best Western Oakbrook Inn. During our reservation (Itinerary #: 73212527897069, Dates: September 16–18, Room #: 111, Name on Reservation: Fiorella Moscoso), a serious sanitation and health issue occurred. On the morning of September 17, while Ms. Moscoso was away at an offsite meeting, her partner discovered a cockroach in the bed and another near the TV. This is wholly unacceptable and created unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Her partner immediately reported the issue to Luis at the front desk. Luis acknowledged the problem and offered to move us to another room. However, as was explained at the time, the presence of cockroaches is not isolated to a single room but instead suggests a broader facility-wide infestation. Luis agreed to refund the second night but stated he did not have the authority to refund the first night and directed us to contact you. We called the hotel to reach you directly but we were informed you were unavailable. Given the severity of this issue—specifically the health risks and breach of basic sanitary standards—we are requesting a full refund for both nights. Anything less is unreasonable under these circumstances. Please confirm in writing that the full refund will be processed to the original form of payment within the next three (3) business days. I saw cockroaches in the bathroom on the floor. I am never staying here again. The staff were nice though.

The mattress and pillows must be some sort of soft foam, not a firm for good sleeping.

While staying here at about 2:00am the ceiling had started leaking during the thunderstorm. They did accommodate me but it was not until the morning. I was frustrated while I stayed in a room that was leaking.

Staff is very friendly! I love being able to get a few more towels from the front desk, even after cleaning hours. Nice selection for breakfast. Even a nice attendant at an omelet station!

For travelers flying in/out of OHare the early check in needs to be earlier. I recognize this is likely a staffing issue but the last thing I wanted after an already long day was to be told to wait an hour. Otherwise, the place was a strong okay.

Old, way past its prime, way over priced.

The hot water was scalding hot. In the 1st room they gave us i got burned by the tap and the water from the shower when i went to turn it of. Tub wouldn't drain. Showed them video of tub, and picture of burn mark on my shoulder then they moved me. Water was still unsafely hot but this tap wasn't solid metal. Hotel is under heavy construction and shouldn't be taking customers in some areas.

Good omelettes for breakfast. However always running out of yogurt and bananas. When asked, employee says “we have no more”.

They were able to check us in early, which was very much appreciated as we needed to do a quick change before going to the concert we were in town for. There was some construction tape around a section as you pull up to the property. And the inside leading to the hallways seemed a bit outdated. But room was updated and clean.

Will definitely stay here again.

We had 3 different types of inspects in our room that night. One actually under the sheets and 2 climbing up walls. The entire hotel needs treated immediately. Would not stay there again.

Breakfast had fresh eggs cracked for your own custom omelet (mushrooms, cheese, and other yummy toppings) Room was clean, however hotel must of been in the middle of a renovation.

Outside of limitations in the room like the phone not working and no hair blow dryer; everything else was good. The beds are comfortable, I like hardwood look like flooring in the rooms, and overall our stay was nice.

I stayed for 1 night. I was placed in the basement "garden level, it did have a window at below pavement level. This room should not have been in service. There were open wires in the ceiling, the electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work, the shower rod was about to fall down, sprinklers were there but not finished off. And there were boxes and furniture in the hallway, like storage. If i had been asked about my stay upon checkout, i would have shared my concerns there, but I was not asked. I was disappointed because as a previous owner of a BW hotel, I know their expected standards and I would not have rented this room. The room did seem clean and the bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was nice but my items were frozen in the morning. The regular floors and rooms may have been just fine.

This property is not in Oakbrook but Westmont. I could have thrown a stone onto the highway which sounded like it was in our room. I could tell when an 18-wheeler went by vs a motorcycle vs a muscle car. Was much better when I bought ear plugs that totally block out noise, but there is no sound dampening that I can tell. Loudest place I've been in for quite a while.

The property itself isnt in the best shape, but the rate for this hotel seems very reasonable when considering the area it is in. The staff are very friendly and they have a great complimentary breakfast, especially by today's post-covid standards. A great value stay in my opinion!

The BW is fine to just sleep while during the day you spend your time elsewhere. The room was clean, bathroom outdated. The hall had carpet that is pretty old. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine and including a cook to make you sone omelets.

Decent hotel decent price

Stayed for 3 nights, and there were no major issues. Hotel is clean and the staff were attentive. Breakfast was somewhat limited. Overall a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

LG tv dud not have a remote control. Called front desk and generic remote delivered. Batteries DEAD. Do not know if for LG. TV quality rating: ZERO.

When entering the room, I felt that it hadn’t been updated in a while so I check for bed bugs (nothing was found) but I saw a large amount of long brown hair everywhere. Same for the floor. The next day, i had got a new room since the bathtub didn’t drain, hair was found in beds, and German cockroach was found in the bathroom. They need to do updates and pest control to make the place really reach the Best in Best Western.

1. Roaches crawling around while we were having breakfast, my grandson got sick and I asked for some clean sheets and I was told that they had no clean sheets to change the ones my grandson messed up. So that was crazy to me.

I enjoyed the jeta tub, also had some good breakfast

The hotel was exactly where I needed it to be logistically, but the current remodel is horrible. Really cheap materials, poorly installed. The vinyl floor planks were coming up from the floor and would trip us every time. Staff was pleasant enough, but didn't really know how to operate a hotel front desk. Probably will not stay there the next time in the area.

Seems newly renovated. Comfy bed. Only complaint is that the bathroom door sticks when opened; bottom needs to be trimmed.

We’ll for started the women they had at the front desk there was such a language barrier so a lot was not understood and that caused no room for any help with anything for real, also there were roaches babies as well as big ones, the room was not cleaned properly. The food was okay but overall I would not go again.

Everything went very well. Can’t thank enough the service lady at the breakfast (Raquel) is I am not wrong. Excellent experience.

It was quite but some stuff in the rooms need updated.

Was supposed to have 2 queen beds and only had double beds. Had no towels or wash clothes. It took over an hour to get towels and wash clothes after going to the front desk and asking for them. Had roaches in the room when we woke up. For breakfast had cold French toast. Had a omelette made to order but the eggs were still raw in the middle. Will not stay again.
