Sky Ranch looks a bit sketchy from the outside but inside it is quiet and comfortable. The management is very friendly as are their dogs. There is definitely nothing fancy but it is clean and well-kept.

I don’t usually write reviews but this Inn was very impressive, and the owners are the nicest people who care about their visitors. They have the cutest little dog that greets you when checking in, and the process is so smooth and seamless. The rooms were clean, and as someone who had to stay for a night, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The site is quiet and safe thanks to the parking lot security gate. Plenty of channels on TV and a great welcoming crew (Charlie the adorable little dog). The area of town has plenty of food places and quick access to Old Sac or Downtown Sac.

Ac was set at 74 and could only be adjusted by staff. A little outdated. Staff was beyond friendly and the price was great! Not a luxary stay, but served the purpose and we definately got our $100 worth that we paid for the room. Would definately stay there again in the same situation. Maybe not ideal with children, but more than enough for my hubby and I🙂🙃

Sheets didn’t seem to clean and the comforter has stains in it also did one of the pillow cases. And the ac was not able to be adjusted so had to keep getting up all night to turn it off and on. It was quiet

Comfy auto-court style. Clean with freindly family staff. Not familiar with Expedia prepay. Room clean with comfortable bed. Mini-fridge and micro. No coffee, although can purchase nearby. Convenient to stores and freeway in a sketchy area with security gate at entrance.

Provided exactly what I needed - comfortable bed with reasonable bedding; easy to use shower, very clean room, quiet surroundings, simple air conditioning, nothing that needed fixing. Would stay here again with confidence. Not fancy, but the price is right.

It was also close enough for me to walk to the state capitol building and Old Sacramento (albeit a longer walk of about 3 mi). The staff was super friendly and related the history of the local area and W. Sacramento. Was cool to hear that scenes from the movie "Bad Grandpa" were filmed on site! I'd stay here again.

The staff is so friendly, they were really helpful with us checking in late at night and giving me extra pillows and towels. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel as we were attending an event for the whole day, so it was perfect for a decent shower and sleep. It’s a quick drive downtown too, 10 min only. The hotel is not renovated, though.

The folks running the motel are very nice, and I wanted to like the property, but the towels were thin, threadbare and gray with age. The mattress was okay but not covered with bedbug prevention, had a thin protector that came off, and the sheets were old and ill fitting. No luggage rack or table lamps, just harsh overhead lights. The carpet was stained, the furniture rickety. The bathroom appeared to have some new floor and shower tiles and was reasonably clean.

This place is family run and operated. They are very kind and attentive. I was allowed to check in 4 hours early so my kids could get a nap before dinner! The room was clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough nice things! This was the best sleep I have had while on vacation in a while. The beds are very nice! I will always stay in here when we visit Sacramento!

A true 1960's style "motor inn". Yes, the place is old, but it is spotlessly clean. The owners make every effort to make you welcome. It was very quiet while I was there. A great deal for the money - and the nostalgia was worth it!

The sheets looked disgusting as they were torn and had some questionable stains. The people next to us were smoking outside of our door and talking very loudly at 3am… making it hard to sleep. Overall expected way better from here as the motel had great ratings, would have preferred at staying at a Motel 6.

My only problem was the lack of amenities. The room did have a trash can, there was no shampoo in the bathroom and I had to ask for another roll of TP. Otherwise it is quite acceptable for the price.

The owner is very nice, and it's a sweet sort of family compound, or compound of families? But the bed is meh, the room is dingy and hot, the AC not controllable and noisy and so-so, the room is supposed to be nonsmoking and while it is, people are smoking outside of the room so it was a terrible smell and hard for me to breath. The sheets were microfiber and OK, the towels paper thin, there was no soap and not enough towels. You get what you pay for and I knew this would not be deluxe. But it felt pretty icky. The chairs were horrible to sit in. There was a flea in the bed. I appreciate that there is installed a metal gate which provides some safety to the compound particularly as there are kids playing inside. Again, the owner is clearly very sweet and trying hard. It's just pretty down at the mouth.

We were there for a country music festival so really just needed a place to sleep because the festival was an all day event. It was a short drive to the event and was affordable. We would definitely stay here again. It’s family owned but honestly those places always tend to be hidden gems.

Extremely nice for the price. Clean as can be, freshly painted and more up to date linens than I expected. Loved the gated parking area! Very nice for the price. We will be back!

Very pleasant stay at the property. The security gate to the property parking lot and rooms is a nice touch. Very friendly and easy check in. I had some activities in the city. I was helped to figure out the best route to take into the city and allowed use of the gate code for my late evening return.

the room itself was clean and comfortable and safe. the people that run it were super friendly. the only thing i can't figure out is why they why the room was listed at $64, at the room itself they said it was gonna be 100.35 when they couldnt find my hotels.com reservation, even after i showed them the confirmation. and THEN my charge record for my card says 135.00. i would stay here every time i went to sac, but now i don't think I'll ever stay there again because of this.
