Great place to stay. Construction was a boo as interrupted my peace . But overall would stay again,
- 5/5
Good hotel to stay
- 5/5
Staff were exceptional, rooms were very comfortable and clean and breakfast was wonderful. Definitely we will choose this chain again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Got there early and I was given an available room.
- 5/5
Stayed here for work. Solid breakfast. I’ll definitely be here again.
- 4/5
Nice breakfast and the tables in front he breakfast lobby are great for games
- 2/5
So many reasons why we would not stay here: Parking is not free, paper towel dispensers in the public bathroom are empty, the shower is so narrow you almost have to take a shower sideways, the gym [machines not working, TV not working, AC not working], and the AC in our room did not work the first day.
- 4/5
Nice clean and well maintained hotel. I will stay there again.
- 2/5
The hotel is undergoing construction so it is not very clean right now, would have been nice to known this and for a discounted rate. The beds and pillows in our room had hairs from a previous guest— they made the beds but did not change the sheets. Our hot water in the bathroom sink also did not work.

renovation
- 4/5
Hotel is currently being remodeled but that's a good thing, even if there's a some signs of work going on. Location is good for a quick rest stop along I-5, which is why we chose it. Staff was nice and breakfast was typical for a mid level hotel. My only complaint was being charged for parking when there is ample surface parking in the area. Maybe I missed it at booking, but it felt like being unnecessarily dinged.
- 1/5
I arrived at the hotel around 3:00 PM, dropped off my belongings, attended a sporting event, returned later that evening, and went to sleep. The next morning, when I woke up and attempted to use the restroom, I discovered that the toilet was not functioning and would not flush. I then attempted to contact the front desk using the room phone, but the phone was also not working. Because of this, I had to use my personal cell phone to contact the front desk. A staff member came to my room and attempted to fix the toilet, but the issue was not resolved. I was then instructed to use the restroom in the hotel lobby. I paid for a room with a private, functioning restroom and expected access to basic amenities during my stay. Having an unusable toilet in the room and a non-functioning room phone created a major inconvenience and significantly impacted my experience. Since the issue could not be resolved, I decided to leave the hotel. Given these circumstances, I respectfully request a full refund or fair compensation for the inconvenience and failure to provide the services and accommodations that were paid for. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
- 5/5
Convenient location off freeway and near retail and restaurants.
- 3/5
Staff are helpful in trying to resolve the issues.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly.
- 3/5
Cleaning should be better
- 5/5
good location
- 3/5
There should have been a warning
- 4/5
The bedrooms are really nice and extremely comfortable, I only rated the cleanliness low because of whatever construction is happening in the hallways, but the rooms are very nice.
- 4.5/5
Clean and comfortable, good breakfast n/a
- 5/5
Perfect location “They should serve breakfast earlier
- 4.5/5
we enjoyed the hotel & staff
- 1.5/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating. This place stunk of chemicals and sprays. The doors slam so loud they wake you up. They are remodeling, but it's worn out and nasty.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
Friendly staff and a great area
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice renovated rooms.
- 5/5
Clean room, great space.
- 3/5
The phone in the room was not working and the front desk staff said they couldn't replace it till next day. The AC/ heater in the room couldn't be controlled. From 69 degrees to 71 degrees either it would be very cold or blowing hot air. At night we went to the front desk to purchase an ice cream. When I opened the ice cream packet the stick fell off and it was half melted. I guess they are having issues since the place is being remodeled.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice Nothing
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean and spacious suite.
- 5/5
Very clean place
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly. The property was in good shape. The pricing was very good. The breakfast array of foods was very good. Thank you.
- 5/5
Our family stayed in a two-queen-size bedroom. In general, it was very clean and new. The breakfast is enough for us. Parking costs $10 per night.
- 3.5/5
It was good
- 5/5
Lovely
- 5/5
Parking fees ?
- 2/5
Room not so clean!. Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good.
- 5/5
We were only there for like 9 hours so can't really say anything
- 3/5
Breakfast was good, location was good. And I realize that they are doing some remodeling, but the place was filthy. Sawdust all over the place and the carpet was disgusting. I think for the money we paid it was ridiculous. Have another stay at the exact same hotel when we get ready to leave Sacramento and I would change it if I could, but I can’t because of booking it through booking.com. Maybe once the remodel is done and it will be better, but otherwise the inside was pretty disgusting
- 4/5
We were visiting our daughter and her family. Hampton Inn is close-by and the rates are very reasonable. We chose to stay here whenever we are going to be in town overnight. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and breakfast is a plus. The only reason I don't rate it higher is because I believe there is always room for improvement.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
I love to have breakfast included and food was good. The employee in charge of breakfast was very nice.
- 3/5
If you like the smell of marijuana all day, stay here. People openly smoking in lobby and pool area. Bad surrounding neighborhood. Hotel itself is too good for this area.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. The staff were really nice and professional. This will definitely be my go to hotel when I am in Sacramento. 9/10 overall experience. My only complaint is the bathroom sink. The drain hole was dirty and smelt a little moldy when I was brushing my teeth. If that can be cleaned then the room would be perfect.
- 5/5
Clean huge rooms. Staff were super friendly. Restaurants near by and close to DOCO! Really wonderful stay. They are remodeling so there are some construction going on but it didn’t bother us.
- 3.5/5
Some common areas were not kept clean. Staff was polite but not very helpful. They need more than just 2 luggage carts.
- 5/5
Pretty good
- 5/5
The breakfast was great
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, breakfast was good. We will stay here again when in Sacramento.
- 4/5
The breakfast was just okay
- 1/5
It wasn’t very clean, it was very noisy with a lot of sketchy people.

A very large room with pull-out bed. The bed was comfortable.
- 3.5/5
The beds are horribly firm. Too firm. The were killing my hips and back all night.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Pillows need to be replaced. Room was clean. Staff friendly.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating even when asking for assistance late at night. Room cleaning was very gracious in providing extra bedding and making sure our room wasn’t entered when asked
- 4/5
clean room. friendly staff
- 5/5
As expected. Room was clean and facilties were good.
- 5/5
Property is great on outside. But inside rooms there are upgrades needed. Shower leaks, toilets have trouble flushing, heaters don’t work or have thermostat on wall that’s a dummy and don’t tell you that you have to still use heater manually
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
breakfast was fresh, room was clean and the parking was safe. the staff was excellent Arleny went above and beyond. The room had no digital clock and guests were expected to utilize the clock on a confusing television app. she went a found me a clock and she even delivered it to the room. she was pleasant, positive and friendly. it made the experience so much better. good job! and the breakfast was hot and delicious.
- 4/5
Wonderful. Spacious and clean.
- 4/5
Staff were very helpful considerate and bice folks. Made me feel welcomed.
- 5/5
Muy bueno
- 5/5
clean----everyone very polite with a smile-----the food was great. already planning another trip with Hampton Inn Suites Ventura county good experience very clean room
- 2/5
The room felt neglected because every time we left the room there was a cart in the hallway but never once saw a cleaning lady! Seamed like they did as little as they could to clean room & to finish fast! Manager tried lying to us & said the room was only required one of the services of light cleaning! Come on after paying $560 I think I should have also gotten my sheets changed & bed made!
- 5/5
Staff - clean room - safe parking for women ( probably more indication to the main door and light will be appreciable … all is the same ) . Breakfast very simple … tea is perfect to go in bedroom … probably indicate on the breakfast area
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 5/5
We always stay at a Hampton Inn when possible. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The facilities (i.e. pool, gym etc) are top notch and the included breakfast is excellent. Overall, a great value!
- 5/5
The hotel is clean and the breakfast is yummy.
- 5/5
The rooms was spotless staff greeted us with courtesy and politeness
- 5/5
very nice and clean. The fitness room was clean, and breakfast good. they didn't clean my room unless you ask for it. beds were comfortable. I have no complaints and would stay there again. very close to shopping, food and highways.
- 5/5
Very nice check in
- 5/5
Courteous staff. Clean room. Quiet stay. My only complaint would be the breakfast. The orange juice came out like water but the eggs and potatoes were quite good
- 3/5
This is just an "average" Hampton Inn & Suites. The night before we stayed in the Bend Hampton Inn & Suites which gave us something to judge by. They are already considering an update for that hotel. Compared with that property, this one is way overdue.
- 4/5
Easy check-in & courteous staff. Room was fairly clean. There was hair in the bathtub edges. Short hair, as if someone cut their hair & dusted it off. Def gross. 2nd bed was also not clean. The sheets were either stained or hadn't been washed. Both things I could gloss over, since I was traveling alone, but had my family been with me, I prob would've asked for a new room.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. I’ve been here twice before and everything is consistently good. 10/10

Wonderful stay. The staff was SO incredibly kind and professional. Thank you!
- 5/5
Great choices and variety for breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room and facilities. Nice pool area with very warm heated pool. Great service!
- 5/5
Right across the street from the CHP Academy. Safe area. Lots of construction going on. Room to park.
- 3/5
The curtains/blind roller thing didn't close and it was super bright all night in the room. The lights in the room didn't really work from a switch.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and staff were friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Marlene the front desk lady is always a delightful person
- 5/5
Well located, near the freeway, gas staion and restaurants right in front.
- 5/5
Marlene is super friendly and has great customer service.
- 5/5
Its good from gym you can work out and theres a laundry too. Super convenient for what I needed
- 4/5
Property was clean, room was clean. Could use fluffier pillows. Service was great. Breakfast was the best so far from all the similar hotels I’ve stayed at. They actually have hot items like eggs, sausages, waffles, etc. downside is you do have to pay for parking which is $10/day plus tax/fees. Other hotels the parking is free.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Great stay all around!
- 5/5
They have breakfast available and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Someone was snooping around our car in the night. The neighbors in the next room were noisy. Otherwise staff and facilities were great.
- 4/5
Great place to stay to watch Athletics play at Sutter Health Park. Clean and fun pool.
- 5/5
While you are there & like Thai food, try Manaao Thai Cuisine. Short walk or a 2 minute drive.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful. We forgot a fan and they provided one. Breakfast was great...lots of options. Hotel was very clean. Toom was huge.
- 5/5
Great Staff! So friendly and resourcefulness...
- 5/5
Great place. Super clean. Friendly staff. Easy access. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Very clean and nice people!
- 5/5
The check in was easy. Associate was very friendly. The free water was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, renovated, very good bed/dresser, etc. The price is competitive to other hotels in that area. I will stay again at the Hampton Inn.
- 5/5
We stayed here for my nephew’s graduation from UC Davis and had a great experience! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. A special shoutout to Marlene—she was absolutely wonderful and made our stay even better. Loved It!
- 4/5
The beds and pillows could be more comfortable. Other than those 2 things, we had a great stay.
- 5/5
Immaculate - the staff was lovely- couldn’t be more accommodating!
- 5/5
Its nice, close to downtown sac. It was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Safe area. Definitely staying there again.
- 1/5
They didn’t have my reservation with Expedia. I had to purchase two rooms. My reservations booked through Expedia were not honored I want my money back
- 5/5
Great experience, to go breakfast, plenty of parking, walking dinner options. Very close to the freeway by quiet still.
- 5/5
All so far
- 5/5
We had a great experience!
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
I've stayed many times there, staff is just amazing and helpful.
- 5/5
The property was great. Location was very convenient near food, coffee, and the freeway. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the board in tge lobby with recommendayions of things to do, where to eat and hors for our convenience
- 2/5
There was a lot of shooting it was right a cross fron the CHP school the place had a extra day fee of 10 dollars dont know what it was for i think parking but the app i used said parking was included.. it does need to update for the hotel. The room we got with a view. It was it's horrible. For the price, I recommend finding another place.
- 4/5
I was disappointed that there were no newspapers to read nor any computers in the "Business Center."
- 4/5
The room was ok. Could use an update but it was clean and large
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
This is a nice property with clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly & helpful staff and a good breakfast. Second time staying here. Short drive to Sacramento.
- 5/5
Not much to say besides that we enjoyed our stay and we will come back.
- 5/5
We would stay here again
- 5/5
Clesn, enough space
- 4/5
Nfjjfjfjfifjdjd
- 5/5
Safe especially with CHP staying at the property almost daily
- 5/5
Hotel was in a very convenient location directly across from the CHP Academy and had several options for food in the area that were walking distance.
- 4/5
Very convenient for the CHP graduation
- 5/5
Clean room. Good free breakfast. Lots of free parking
- 4/5
The only thing I didn’t like was the beds didn’t have bed bug mattress covers on them
- 5/5
Super nice place
- 5/5
They were pet friendly and allowed me to stay with my cat, which was a life-saver for traveling with an animal. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The agent at the desk when check in was nice and friendly. The check in was quick
- 5/5
Big comfortable room for an easy weekend stay for 2.
- 1/5
the a/c unit was filthy, the chair had a mixture of feces and blood on it. I didnt want to complain because my daughter chose the motel. To top it off my wifes gold necklace was stolen by the maid, luckily we got it back after we stood our ground about the missing item.
- 5/5
The room was great. Big, clean, very comfortable. But the shower had a small leak and never stopped. I couldn't hear it with the door closed. The breakfast was not so good to put it nicely. The omelet was nor very good tasting. I took one bit and brought it back to the room and gave it to my dogs. The sausage didn't look good enough for me to even try it. The potatoes were good. My cup for milk had a leak and when I picked it up there was mike all over the table. I think for the money the breakfast should have been much better. Anyway I went across the street to jack in the box and got a supreme croissant and a small coke for over $10.
- 2/5
Arrived in my room to find trash in the trash can
- 5/5
I came to town the CIM for the weekend and it worked out for what we needed. We had our 3-month-old baby and they had the pack and play already in the room for us. Good service.
- 4/5
I stayed here with my son to attend the CHP academy orientation. The academy is located right across the street and is very convenient for that. The breakfast buffet was ok. Out of coffee for awhile which sucked since we didn’t have time to wait. The room was nice with a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom could have been cleaner but I have pretty high standards for cleanliness. Overall pretty good but wish it were cleaner.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Good room and very clean. Friendly staff. Hallways were freezing cold. Running the air conditioning when it’s 40 degrees outside?
- 4/5
There should be more towel bars in the washrooms to hang towels to coincide with housekeeping's every other day room service.
- 5/5
Nice, quiet personable staff as well
- 4/5
Very good over nighter
- 3/5
I liked the staff and how convenient it is off the freeway
- 1/5
Room smelled and we found dried blood on the blanket. Will not be staying at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Staff and excellentlocation and breakfast.
- 5/5
I am so happy I chose this hotel for my trip to Sacramento. So many great amenities such as a mini fridge, microwave, breakfast each morning, gym, pool. And an affordable price. Great and friendly staff. Restaurants within walking distance and easy to get shared ride services. I definitely recommend staying there when you are in town.
- 5/5
Love the vibe
- 4/5
Very clean. Continental breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Everything was great and well worth the stay. We would probably come here again if we are coming this way. Thank you for everything.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay, clean, well kept, and overall would definitely come back.
- 1/5
We suffered a medical emergency and never checked in. I called the hotel right away and they said they would refund me the money. Then they saw I booked through a third-party vendor and told me to seek my refund with Hotels.com. When I did that, I sat on hold for hours on end and never received service. I will no longer be booking through Hotels.com
- 5/5
We had a great experience.
- 5/5
Safe, quiet and clean! Staff was very accommodating to my needs. The room was large and the king size bed was comfortably firm. Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Front desk and the morning crew working in the breakfast area were outstanding
- 4/5
I liked that it was very close to the CHP academy.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful, especially Marlene. Very helpful & accommodating.
- 2/5
Room was dirty at check-in. Did not look like it was cleaned in weeks.
- 5/5
Rooms are large with comfortable mattresses and bedding. Extra fluffy pillows. Plenty of towels and high pressured hot water in the roomy walk-in showers. A/C was MORE than sufficient during the triple digit weather we experienced. Breakfast easily accessible and great for quick bite or to take on the go.
- 2/5
Front desk service was adequate and common areas appeared clean, however we did not access the pool or gym areas so have no feedback to provide. Bathroom shower was not clean and very visible grime build up on sliding shower door track. Fitted sheet was too small to fully cover mattress corners. Room overall did not have a fresh clean feel to it. Was expecting a more satisfying stay for the room rate. Will not be coming back.
- 5/5
Large rooms with very comfortable mattress, pillows and bedding. The hotel from 1st floor to 2nd floor was VERY quiet! The staira are well lit and there are access points (entry/exit with key card) at both ends where stair access is and entry ways in middle where elevator is. Parking was free and very accessible.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel… clean, spacious room, walking distance to good restaurants, felt pampered.
- 5/5
Location was convenient to downtown but also to south Sacramento where family lives. Easy to get to and from.
- 5/5
I have stayed here before and we did not pay for parking, this time we did. Also, I was on the second floor and I heard all sorts of banging and noise from the floor above. It kept waking me up. I think I would ask for the 3rd floor next time if I return.
- 5/5
I stay was just what I needed. Wanted a place to stay before my early morning flight the next day. Staff was nice, area was quiet. Very nice.
- 5/5
Excellent location!!!
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Area safe and quiet. Close to shopping. Very nice breakfast. Ladies at front desk last night were welcoming. Only complaint— fee to park. Why??
- 3/5
The room was clean but needs a decorating refresh. The property is nice enough, but was over priced considering the above.
- 5/5
Check in gals were great! The breakfast women is a very hard worker, she was attentive and she was very congenial . It was a close to UC Davis
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Easy and early check-in. Quiet and clean place to stay. Plus check out is at noon.
- 5/5
clean and friendly staff
- 4/5
Overall, the stay was great. Staff was nice and friendly as well. The suite in which I stayed was very spacious. The only issue i had was that the bed was a tad bit uncomfortable, but not enough for me not stay here again.
- 5/5
Our stay was fantastic! The room was clean and had everything we needed. They offered lots of different choices for breakfast, which my kids appreciated. Coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate is always available in the lobby. Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is also in a quiet part of the city that feels very safe. We were also in the perfect spot, 15 min away from Davis, 10 minutes away from Railroad Museum and 30 minutes away from our concert in Wheatland. I will definitely be staying here again when I am in the Sacramento area!
- 5/5
Very clean, and especially nice layout of the room. Great breakfast
- 5/5
Very relaxing
- 5/5
Nice and clean. Will definitely be going back.
- 5/5
staff were awesome
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
I will stay again. The rooms very spacious. House keeping did great job leaving extra toiletries. Front desk staff so friendly. The breakfast served was amazing!
- 5/5
Everything was great from check-in, to the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Onsite parking was another great perk and the surrounding area felt safe, with ease of access to the freeway.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean
- 3/5
Nice and clean BUT they did not tell me there is a $10 charge for self park outside.
- 5/5
The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds were just the right firmness. The people upstairs were noisy, jumping/ bouncing around late at night, but I was so tired from driving all day it didn’t bother me after I fell asleep. The pillows helped with that…they felt like giant marshmallows that my head slowly sunk into, eventually into a perfectly comfortable sleeping position. Breakfast was convenient and great. Definitely would stay here again when I’m in the area.
- 5/5
Clean, safe and quiet. W b at more can a man ask for.
- 5/5
the staff at this hotel are super nice!
- 2/5
This makes no sense whatsoever. People are traveling and then you're going to charged them to park in your parking lot. Where else could you park, but in there parking lot? Second They were having issues with their key cards. They couldn't produce and had to escort you up to the room to let you in. When I voiced my concern, the gentleman said you can cancel your night stay if you would like really that is their response. They didn't even offer a discount for the room. Thirdly In the middle of the night I went down to get some To get some water and snacks. I went to pay for my purchase with a $100 bill and was told we don't take bills over 100. I told the young lady. This is not over 100. It is one stated. I can't make change. I had to put it on the room charge. Fourthly You would think that the management? Knowing that there was an issue with keys and having to escort guests up-and-down to their rooms that they would have had more stuff. Available. First thing in the morning during the continental breakfast. Only one staff person was there to escourt. The guests back up to their rooms. We were not even asked what room we were only taking one guess the time. I was already waiting when when they came back downstand she had the audacity to ask us if we could wait while she took a guest on the first floor to their room before taking us up.
