Terrible! Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. First room was not even set up for guests, no bed no furniture and full of roaches. Front desk had zero concerns for what I reported. I was offered another room but based on what I had already seen and the rude staff I just left. Had to spend $800 for a new room and Expedia is not giving refund. The hotel manager should want to alleviate the situation instead of lying about it. DONT STAY HERE

Pillows were extremely small and flat, so bring your own. Each bed is supplied with two, and two doesn’t even equivalent to one standard size pillow. There is no ice machine in the hotel, nor trays to make any in the freezer.

There was nothing in the room, no iron, ice buckets, cups, no way to set up streaming on the tv. only one set of towels no blankets, just a sheet and a very thin cover. They did provide coffee in the lobby

It is located in a good place Toddler up till 3:30 am. while parents slept in the room above me. Staff could care less the floors were covered in dirt. Would not give me a partial refund. It was the only hotel that had a room near where I needed to be, or I would have found a different place.

Stayed one night, going to concert nearby. Maybe next time drive the 2.5 hours home after it, or spend double for a room. I’m typically a person who doesn’t care about the room, just need a place to sleep and shower. This is on the short list of never, ever again. There was a distinct odor throughout the whole hotel - like faint smells of cigarettes and questionable food. The bed wasn’t too bad, but the pillow situation, or lack there of, was not good. Two tiny squares for two pillows, for two people. The shower had barely any pressure. Couldn’t wait to get home to shower and have my bed with real pillows.

We booked this hotel to stay after a concert. My husband dropped my daughter and I off at the concert and then went and checked into the hotel. After the concert was over at 11pm, my husband picked us up and told us that we were going to have to drive the 3 hours back home. The room had such a strong chemical odor he had to step outside several times because it was giving him a headache. My daughter has severe asthma that is triggered by chemical smells and would not be able stay there. He didn’t bother trying to change rooms or complain because the whole hotel had the odor, so he was pretty sure it would have been the same in all the rooms. It just sucks to have spent all of that money to still have to drive home until 2am which what we were trying to avoid by renting a room.

The rooms were clean. There were only 2 very flat pillows on the bed. Blankets were very rough. One bar of soap is given for the bathroom (used for sink and shower) and one roll of toilet paper.

The hotel was dirty upon arrival into the main lobby. Receptionist was mean rude and not helpful in any capacity. No amenities in the room no ice bucket no silverware no plates no coffee and crumbs all over the countertops and dirty floors. We chose this place just out of convenience, but that was the wrong choice.

This hotel was perfect for my husband and I for four nights. Last minute booking was quick and easy. Room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was great!

The kitchen is not fully equipped. You have buy the pots, coffee maker, and, dinnerware from them. You have to requested extra pillows and blanket. The parking is free and good. The room is very clean.

This was a one night stay for a business trip. The front desk staff member was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very basic.

No onsite service on weekends. You have to wait for them to call someone. Then wait for that person to answer. Then wait for that person to show up. No AC friday night. No AC all day Saturday then finally at 8:30 pm got service.

The manager went above and beyond to show us the room available. It was a mess but was cleaned before we got checked in. The lady at the front deck didn’t know the difference between Alaska and Antarctica. I was trying to explain why I was so tired. The carpet in the room was so dirty that when I took a shower it was grey from my bare feet. The tub was clean and it’s a quiet property. I did appreciate it overall.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, parking was easy.rates were the lowest of comparable properties. Some of the other guests are loud and they make noise until early morning hours. Beds are not great and you can feel the springs. All considered I would stay again if I needed to be in this area for work.

The kitchen had nothing to cook with you had to rent everything out. No ice machines. The gym equipment was broken.

Would not recommend staying here. Price was very high and though the property was clean, there was nothing special about it. Had to wait 15 minutes before there was even a front desk clerk.

The Woodspring is fine for what it is, a relatively inexpensive place to stay. The place is clean, staff is OK, and rooms spartan, but functional. It is right near a very useful bus stop, with buses running directly to either downtown or the airport.

The A/C had issues and room was too cold or too hot left with sore throat. Was not too clean found hair in shower and sink. Floor was also kind of sticky. 3 floor smelled bad for the 3 days like an old folks home. Definitely not worth $175 a night.

No issues at all. Easy check in and out. Was quiet on the 4th floor and the room was good. Really the best deal in the area considering the median price was 400-450 a room elsewhere but there aren't many restaurants within walking distance. For those interested in sports bars, Duffys over the turnpike was 1/2 mile, twin peaks was about 2 miles and there's a Flanagan's pretty close too but never went there. The hotel is 4.5 miles from the Nationals/Astros stadium.

They finally found our second room under another name although they were booked under one reservation. Proceed to the room, by far one of the worst hotel I experienced, one of the room had a dead body smell, not just stinking but unsafe type of smell. We were luckily able to change room (another guest wasn’t checked in yet!) We had picked this place last minute because of a nearby appointment. Sleeping in the car would have been as good !

A/C didn’t work well - refrigerator was broken and did not cool at all - water pressure in bathroom was so low that I had to physically stand under the shower head to shower - no WiFi - cell service in the area is horrible - cleaning agents used in the room are EXTREMELY strong and the smell held from the day I started my stay until the day I left.

The room smelt like a wet dog and wasn't very clean. I asked to be moved to another room and they said they were sold out. The room service was terrible, I went to the front desk to ask for clean towels because they didn't provide new ones, and they told me I had to bring my dirty ones down before they could give me anymore. I also reserved it for three people and only got two sets of towels. I was not impressed.

Upon checking into the room, we noticed that there was animal hair all over the place. Looked like dog hair. When I checked in, I had to sign a waiver, saying that there were no pets allowed, but the room was filled with hair. Floors were not swept. It looked like there was pubic hair all over-the-counter in the bathroom as well as the shower. Upon using the restroom there was no bar of soap to wash our hands. I called down to the front desk and was told “hand soap wasn’t provided”. Another person I know stayed here and said the opposite. How you could not provide hand soap is insanely disgusting and unsanitary. The comforters had as much animal hair on them as the floor did. You can hear everything above us in the room upstairs. From their walking to the chairs being moved. There is no insulation at all. Terrible stay.

Room 223…Nobody was at the front desk when I went to check in. Had to come back 2 hours later. Toilet was non operational, asked for help. Later, someone came and knocked on the door…when I opened the door, there was only a plunger sitting in front of the door, nobody to be found. Shower pressure was pitiful, at best. 0/10, don’t bother. Sleep in your car first

The place lacked in so many ways, but the worse was being woken up at 12:30 am with someone pacing the floor in the room above us. The noise and construction from the highway was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The room had an unidentifiable smell you can hear everything if someone walked by your room. Very unsatisfying.

I called Expedia immediately and wanted a solution, they called the hotel to request a refund so that I could get another hotel and they were told no because we had already checked in.. well I wouldn't have seen the roaches and hairs or smelled the horrible smell if I hadn't checked in, Expedia informed me that even if they had refunded me, it could take 10 days to get my money back. I am a single Mom and traveled for my son's volleyball tournament , I don't have the kind of money to get another hotel and hope that I get my money back. I had no choice but to stay and couldn't sleep feeling like roaches were crawling all over me for 2 night. I also went downstairs to the front desk informed her of the disgusting hairs in my bed I got no solutions offered except a different room which why would this matter roaches crawl through the walls and pipes they would be in other rooms. BTW these were Palmetto Bugs that Florida has these were straight up roaches! I had to ask for new sheets and she handed me a pile of bedding nd left me to deal with it myself.

The tub was still dirty, the mattress is very uncomfortable, they don’t have common things other hotels have like coffee, nightlight in the bathroom, ice, etc… but the room was fine for one night. Probably won’t rent one from this hotel chain in the future though.

I stayed at this hotel recently and appreciated the spacious room, full-size fridge and microwave, WiFi, and cable TV—all very convenient for my stay. The shower pressure wasn’t the strongest, and items like a hair dryer or iron need to be requested from the front desk. There were a few minor issues during my stay, but when I brought them to the front desk’s attention, they were handled promptly.

The only thing that kept me from sleeping were the guest above me and next to my room. I felt like they were going to fall in my room. The walls and ceilings are very transparent. I also feel there should be more maintenance done on each floor. I was on the 3rd floor and the hallways smel l ed like urine. Perhaps, place refresh or odor spray around the building. I recommend the hotel and I would rebook again. Liked the area is safe to me.

The walls are thin and you can hear every step the person makes above you. It’s 4 floors. I was on the 3 rd floor and the people above me were extremely loud. I do appreciate the laundry room which was needed for a 6 day stay.

Kitchen doesn't have anything. Every night it was loud music coming from one of the room. Called reception one night and they said they will take care of it. One hour later music still gooing, called reception and nobody answered. Stayed there for 9 nights and some nights i slept only 4h. I will never stay there again.

The room was clean and in decent condition. VERY basic. Absolutely no amenities aside from hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It was a bit loud. It didn't have a lot of insulation from other rooms, so you could hear other guests and slamming of doors.

I had to have my house tented So i stayed here. The room was ok. The bed was lumpy and hard to get comfortable. The water pressure stinks but as long as the water was hot i was ok with it. I brought my furbaby for the stay. I did not feel safe at night walking my dog. There was alot of homeless sleeping in cars on side of building and some wandering around parking lot. I stayed close to the front door due to safty. As far as sleeping the room over mine sounded like furniture moving and you could hear stompng and running around. The noise caused my dog to bark and woke me up in the wee hours of the morning. The staff were all nice .. also being extended stay the kitchenette has a stove top, microwave, deep sink and decent fridge. Its bring your own on pots and pans and utensils. Its funny i stayed at a different extended stay hotel and there was everything in cabinets to cook and serve. So i was glad i read reviews . I brought a pot to cook with while i stayed and some utensils and plates. I wish that room had a table and a couple chairs. Eating at the desk in room was a pain. All in all i know what to expect from my stay. I would come back .

The lady at the front desk was terribly rude very short when speaking handed me the key basically told me to go on my way, but didn’t point out where the stairs nor elevator was, and when I asked, she looked at me like I knew and pointed towards the elevator, the lobby is very confusing People right now outside smoking weed all night The floor creeks real bad and the walls are super thin be cautious if you bring your kids there.

This room was disgusting. Everything was covered with stains — the lamp, the shower curtain, and the couch. It was just gross. Clearly not cleaned or maintained properly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

This was called a suite, but had no pots and pans, silverware, glassware, kleenix, dish soap, sponge, hair dryer, rooms are not cleaned daily, thin towels, thin toilet paper, and poor bedding.

The manager Marcus is the best thing about this place. I was in room 112. I kind of wish that my money was reimbursed. Housekeeping did a half-@$$ job. I promise you all they did was pull the covers back up and tuck them tight. There's was crumbs and stains in my bed. My friend's bed had hair all throughout. The linens were changed. I had to sweep the entire room. There was so much crap. Then our toilet didn't work. I plugged it for 10 minutes before they sent this man with a snake. I'm a Choice Hotel member and I was absolutely pissed and disgusted.

First, upon arrival, we could not get the room we originally booked because it was overbooked. The lady at the desk was very nice and offered up an extra room because of the inconvenience otherwise the room we could get had a sofa bed and we could still sleep the 4 of us so that’s what we decided on. The problem now, we could not get extra pillows at that time for the sofa bed, we had to wait but we had a concert to get to so we figured we would get them when we returned. The room itself was terrible but the floors were gross with stains that looked like old dog poo. There was only 2 towels and a teeny shampoo and conditioner mix. When we returned from the concert, we called the desk and although the women I spoke too was very nice, they had no extra pillows for my 2 teens that were sleeping on the sofa bed, so I had to give them 2 out of the 4 we had on the regular bed. These pillows were very flat and I had the worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel because of this. I had the worst headache and neck ache from trying to sleep so flat. I was able to get 2 extra towels and an extra shampoo so at least that worked out. The TV did not work, no signal and the remote would not allow me to turn it off even though the batteries seemed to be working. The WiFi was terrible. There was broken up crackers and old food in the hallway outside our room that was there when we checked in and also the next day when we left in addition other food crumbs in the halls both days. I won’t stay again.

I did not get the room that I paid for. The room description on Hotel.com did not match the room that I received. There were roaches in the room. There was a refrigerator in the room but the hotel stated that you would have to purchase utensils and kitchen items. Terrible stay, I would never book here again

Was very friendly staff, and had no issues on two queen rooms, my mom had single queen first room had weird smell. Second room unfortunately bed frame was messed up. She was tired and just got the sleep she could for the night. How the staff was so kind I’m sure they would have switched her again had she asked. Would definitely come back if needed. I do believe some reviews on the hotel smelled weird isn’t that it smells weird but it’s more of extended stay hotel and like mini apartments so everyone is cooking dinner time had some smells coming from other places but not in the rooms just halls and I’m okay with that was comfy safe stay and super friendly

Location was very convenient to where I needed to be. Cleanliness was so so. Smell was too strong for cleaning agents. Some staff are not very friendly. It was past 10 pm when I tried to get in bed, noticed that the sheets were not clean and has hairs on it. Called the front desk and they made me come down to reception to get a set of fresh sheets after I have to take off the old sheets and bring them down to them for exchange.

During my stay at the hotel, the bed in my assigned room was terrible. It squeaked every time I moved, and I honestly thought it was going to break. A bed in this condition should not be in a hotel room and really needs to be replaced.

Elevator was out of order. When I arrived in my first room there were little bugs and cockroaches on the floor. The front desk staff was very helpful and assigned me to another room. Figure a hotel should have an ironing board and iron in each room but had to get it loaned from the front desk.

Stay is cheap a lot of people find out about the shop notice a lot of peoples was using the hotel as there home. The water to not get hot it gets really warm which was aggy after along day out. I think this is my last time staying here though. Stay wasnt horrible but it could be a lot better

We actually had to leave at around 4pm on our last night because our first night sleep was horrible. There are no blackout curtains and there was our very bright light outside our window. We were awake most of the night with pillow over our heads to block the light. A lot of shady people hanging outside in the parking lot. Didnt feel completely safe.

I have been to plenty hotel and I have never had a full refrigerator and stove top the room was very clean and smelling

My check-in wasn’t very pleasant and the receptionist presented herself like she didn’t want to be there. Also, the building has a bad smell and it was really bad on the 3rd floor.

The worst experience I’ve ever had

Check in was a breeze and staff was very friendly. Hotel was very quiet and convenient location. Nice Whirlpool microwave and cook top in room, though didn’t use either. Did not have hand towels in bathroom…perhaps that is not the norm and simply an oversight. Bed was very hard and shifted very easily (noise) on its metal frame. Overall, decent but spartan room. I would return solo for a night or two but would not bring my family to stay here.

It’s a great place to stay. New and very clean. Only problem during this stay was that both vending machines were out of order.

Was ok the bed wasn't as comfortable as others in this hotel. Im stay here on buisness and work nights so on my last day here I request a late checkout because im getting off work amd to bed at about 7am. The cleaning staff everytime is banging on the door telling me its time to go at 11 everytime!

Very clean and quiet. Water pressure was poor.

Absolutely terrible bed, like sleeping on bc a skateboard. Pillows were like bricks. No kleenex in the room, nor any hand towels.

This felt more like a dorm for college kids. It stunk of weed and people were constantly coming and going. NO PARKING what so ever. and the bed was so uncomfortable.

Property was not safe and conditions were horrible. Room had nothing in it no towels soap shampoo. The beds were on a metal cot type frame.

Easy check in and access to parking and building. Large refrigerator, microwave and stove top. Did not like not getting room serviced and clean towels between days.

Had roaches in room only got credited 25$ dollars back highly satisfied.

Everything was great right up to day of checkout. Im a lineman working nights and out of town. I PAID EXTRA FOR A LATE CHECKOUT! CLEANING LADY WOKE ME UP AND SAID IT WAS PAST TIME TO CHECK OUT AND TOLD ME I HAD TO LEAVE @11AM! SO HERE I AM TORED AS HELL STARTING MY 14 HOUR SHIFT TIRED AS HELL WORKING WITH 14K VOLTS OF ELECTRICITY!!!

I asked the front desk for extra towels and pillows and it was not available on request The smell of the room was horrible The bed was very uncomfortable and was a simple mattress very thin mattress

Nice kitchen area. One slight issue -- be careful if you buy a Dr. Pepper from the vending machine. The 407 slot is known to stick. Long-term guests will tell you it's not a one-time thing.

It seems the hotel was renovated, but it had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals that can cause health conditions. We had to open the window to air out the room. We end up with bites from bed bugs or fleas. Unfortunately, I can't remember this hotel fir the above reasons.
