Everything was excellent and perfect location. Even being this close to the train tracks, hardly could hear anything.

i generally stay at residence inns when traveling my entire experience at this hotel was the BESTi have been,ed at check in was especially friendly,the check out employees at the desk ,and the friendlyness of the housekeepers was also some of the best we have encountered as a former marriott employee,good job to the g.m.and other dept.heads,your lucky to have your employees.

The room was very large and clean. The staff was a great help. Our AC in our room wasn’t working properly so they found us another room. There was a good selection for breakfast. We didn’t get to use the pool unfortunately because it was too cold when we went in January. It’s in a great location. City Place and the Brightline are right across the street. And Clematis street is only a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff are very good. The hotel is clean. BUT The neighborhood felt unsafe. There was trash around the block, and someone I spoke with at a nearby restaurant said he and his aunt were mugged in broad daylight but the cops intervened in time. That concerned me as I had my little dog with me and had to be outside walking her, sometimes in the dark.

The room was fine and cleaning staff were very good. The reason for the poor review is that I was trapped in an elevator that malfunctioned. I used the emergency phone in the elevator to call the command center and they had to dispatch an elevator technician to come. They said I would have to wait an hour and a half for the tech to arrive. I asked the dispatcher to contact the fire department to see if they could arrive sooner. The did and the fire department came to the rescue The hotel staff took along time to even come to the elevator to inform me that the fire department was dispatched. I was trapped for more than a half hour. To add insult to injury the hotel offered to add points to my Bonvoy account. In the end they provided a small credit to me bill upon checkout. This is not how a quality hotel chain should treat their customers.

Spotless rooms, including the bathrooms, lobby, excellent valet & front desk staff. Full size refrigerator was very helpful. Love the handicap access bathroom and many towels. Comfy beds, pillows & linens.

The room is only cleaned every other day. It is over-priced. Breakfast was cold. Hot water and coffee are not available during the day. Water and snacks are overly expensive. There is not enough value for the money in any area.

Rooms nice & clean Paying to Park & that there isn't enough parking spaces

I didn't like anything about this hotel. The hotel staff charged our card without explaining why, and we didn't get a refund for over a month. Our numerous emails went unanswered. We had to go through Booking.com to get a refund. We spent a LOT of time trying to get a refund. If it weren't for Booking.com, I don't think we would have received anything from the hotel.

Walking distance from City Place and Clamatis Street. Valet parking. Car that had just been cleaned was left for 2 hours before our holiday party and it came back full of bird feces. We work up to no electricity in the bathroom. We had to shower in the dark.

The hotel has a good situation near the beach and near the restaurants and stores. The breakfast is very well organized and there is a large choice. The staff is very polite and try always to make your stay agréable.

This hotel is in great condition for the price. I was supposed to stay at the Breakers and they tried to charge me $1200/night. I came to this hotel instead. The rooms were large and they even had a range to do cooking. The breakfast had a lot of hot items to choose from.

The staff. Far superior to room and absence of amenities. No bodywash in shower. 3 coffees for three days/two people. 1 bag popcorn. No anti slip matt in shower. Tired furniture. Reserved one king bed. Room was 2 Queens. 500 dollars per night? Not worth it.

This hotel offered a spacious suite, a heated pool, nice breakfast, friendly staff. They could use more hooks on walls to dry wet bathing suits, some tomatoes or cucumbers to add to breakfast choices, and a hot tub. Altogether a great stay in the heart of downtown West Palm.

We stayed in Residence Inn around Christmas time and loved the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown West Palm Beach, only 5 min walk from the waterfront, all stores and restaurants and city center. The hotel is very clean, front desk is extremely helpful, our room was upgraded. I definitely recommend it.

Location and room size! Front desk people will never say hi when we came back not even a look at us, we were very surprised! We travel a lot and this never happened :( they need to change their attitude.

Air conditioning and elevators were working Lame luggage carts, No Restaurant, no Bar, no room service, Arrived at 4pm for check in "facility was booked" so did not get the King bed suite I reserved, or room location i requested

The maids are excellent very very diligent the front desk although lacking personality they are professional. The valet is excellent always ready to get your car. The facility is super clean. You have a gentleman on the night shift at the front desk has a personality plus very helpful verycaring and concerning he is a young gentleman about 28 years old African-American. I did not get his name, but he is the type of employee strives to establish.

The hotel is clean and centrally located, many options for dinner and entertainment as it is located at a walkable distance from The square. The front desk staff is friendly, the room is spacious and comfortable. I only give 3 stars to this hotel because they don’t have self parking only valet parking, this valet parking cost another 38 dollars per day, today when I got my car back had a big dent, meaning that someone hit it hard, which was probably the same staff from the valet parking. I will not use this hotel again.

The room was awesome, the breakfast quite nice and the location was excellent. I would definitely stay in a Residence Inn again in the future. It was the most expensive room I've ever stayed in, but it was NYE weekend.

We had a guy at 2:32 am break in our room my son had to throw him out, I called the front desk they wanted to know if we want security lil late for that if I was alone it could of been worse. It ruined our Christmas we didn't sleep the rest of the night.

Great front staff. Great breakfast. Room was clean. Dirty old and stained carpets in the hallways. Can only valet park. Went to get my car upon checkout and waited a long time to find the valet attendant. Was late for work because of it. The night before I told the valet that I would need my car by 7:30 am the next morning. Waited until 7:50 to have my car available. Not cool.

Everything was well maintained, elevators were super fast. Staff was helpful and effective. Our room key pad was glitchy however maintenance corrwcted the issue.

I was also very impressed with the ability to vacation with your dog at the hotel. We spoke with another client that had her beautiful corgi with her. She spoke highly of the hotel to allow her dog. Next year we will be back. But this time with our dog, Rozia as well 😊🐶✈️❤️🌴

Our room had a very noisy air vent. They offered to move us after we were already settled in, as the Engineer was already gone for the day. We opted to stay. The only other thing that was disappointing, was there was no oatmeal left at breakfast when I arrived at 9 am. Breakfast ended at 9:30. So i was surprised when I brought it to the attention of the Attendant, she looked and said there was no more. She didn’t offer to make any more either.

I guess there are Hilton people and then there are Mirror people. Based on my almost two weeks stay in this hotel I will NEVER stay in a Marriott by choice. The location of the Residence Inn is excellent, but I have never seen such horrible housekeeping nor such neglect toward a property. Ceiling light in kitchen didn't work, toilet and sink stopped up. Housekeeping was just terrible. Perhaps management should try a "checklist" approach in the appropriate language so the cleaners know what should be left in the room; counters of bathroom and kitchen not always cleaned, all garbage sometimes not removed. For a hotel that is often visited by businesspeople, there was not one piece of paper or a pen. We had two suites; the other one had two telephones but ours didn't, requiring us to always run to the bedroom. To get something printed, you had to call the Front Desk and ASK whoever was on duty for their email...that's how the printing worked! Besides the location and convenience, the only thing that was nice were front desk people.

I was surprised, the room would have been nice for 2 but not for 3...the rollaway bed/couch mattress was very cheap/flimsy and uncomfortable for the 3rd person. We stayed at the Marriott Grand Vista in Orlando the night before, and the rollaway bed was super nice, came in 3 sections, very stable and comfortable, we try and stay in a Marriott whenever we travel, usually decent and clean, but this was by far the most uncomfortable and cheaply made roll out couch in my Marriott history! My 92 yr old mother had a neck ache the entire weekend, there was a convention and no other rooms available, my spouse is 6'5" and unable to sleep on it at all due to how flimsy it was. Now if 1 Marriot got it right I would expect them all to get it right, same company, should be same product! Please rectify this so others don't suffer with back/neck/hip pain while traveling, at least for the money they should have comfortable beds, plus the internet tv was slow as molasses!

The only cons: keep the disinfecting wipes stashed in the gym, fix the large tv in the gym (one was working, the other one was not), clean the pool daily (I saw the same tuft of hair floating daily), and more breakfast choices.

Room was very clean. Kitchen area in the room is stocked with everything I could need. Breakfast, even with COVID restrictions, is plentiful.

For a 4 star hotel, it lacked amenities I am used to. Not happy that room was not clean daily. For me that’s a must. Clean bathrooms, towels, amenities etc. I pay for service. Anything less is not acceptable. Also no self parking and an extra $28 daily for it, outdated. We r not in the middle of Manhattan..will not return.
