Super 8 by Wyndham West Memphis

The carpet was filthy they didn’t clean my room or change my towels the entire 6 night stay. The air filters were cluttered with dust and looks like they have never been changed before. The tub look disgusting with paint chips every where. The entire room was dusty. Everything about the stay was terrible and I want a refund.

Would not recommend staying here. Maybe things will be better after construction that was being done while we were there.

Smelled like urine in the room, dirty panties under the bed, sex enhancement bottle next to the panties on the floor. Didnt shower because hair and dirt was in the tub, bugs on the walls, stained sheets so i had to use my own blankets and pillows. So many things wrong.

The tub wasn't up to the parts, the mirror had things coming apart from it. It had an awful smell once you entered. The refrigerator wasn't working.

Was told the property was none smoking but the front desk lady put me in a smoking room. Hotel smelled like weed and the room smelled like cigarette.

I stayed for almost a week and the room didn’t get serviced at all. I always had to ask for clean towels and sheets. It didn’t get swept and there were ants coming in but whatever products they use for them works immediately. Housekeeping 0 stars

Location The TV wasn’t working so I couldn’t watch the Lakers game and the telephone did not because the cord was broke . It looked like there was equipment staged outside ready making a mess in the parking lot while there was no elevator in the hotel and since I am disabled it was hard walking up the stairs to the second floor. The hotel did not give me a refund for the TV not working and not for putting on the 1 st floor, Will not stay there again.

Everything was good clean and working . My only complaints are the bathroom shower water pressure, its weird and the water filled the tub while i showered. Took like 30mins to drain. And the free breakfast is very limited but a nice value for the price. I would stay again for one or two nights.

Breakfast was interesting. Waffles the only hot item. Toaster but no bread. No fruit of any kind. No eggs. No sausage. No bacon. Etc.

I like the fact that when I expressed my disappointment with the room conditions, the attendant did her best to rectify the situation.

Water sink faucet was broken. Shower tub was dirty and breakfast was out of bread, juice, milk, and lot of other stuff. Only thing was available cereal without milk. Brighter side eve-thing available for waffle.

Bathroom in our room had what appeared to be mold growing on the ceiling, wall and back of the door. The microwave in our room did not have a microwave plate and our room smelled like dirty feet the entire time. The only time anyone was ever at the desk was early mornings or late nights otherwise there was a sign stating they were busy helping another guest the whole time.

Was npt the cleanest environment and no functioning locks on external doors which were just open. Bathroom had a lot of rust and running facet.

The hotel is about to fall apart. They don’t change towels nor they clean the room. 3 days I see no cleaning crew. Breakfast is only cereal and pane cake. Not return anymore.

I didn’t like the establishment when I got the there and pulled in. Even liked it worse when I went in and they showed me the room. Everything it needs to remodeled

Very Dirty and not safe feeling.. Smelled weed in the hallways 24/7.. The curtains would not work there are unknown people hanging out in th parking lot the hotel sits in the middle of 3 big truck stops.. Breakfast was a self made waffle with everyone using just 1 waffle machine without any butter out to use..It's hard to believe that Wyndham put its name on this dump...Never again !!

It was close to places to eat that you can just walk to. There is a ihop next door to the hotel that you can just walk to. It was not loud at all even tho the backside of the hotel is a truck stop. It’s also super close to south land if you are looking to throw money away. The breakfast is nothing special. They had waffles, cereal, oatmeal and juice so just a heads up.

The window was unlocked, the towels were stained, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and looked moldy. It’s next to a trucker stop and one driver would not lay off of his horn—it was midnight! Would not recommend staying here.

This is a terrible decision to choose this hotel. It’s one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed. I’m seriously considering stopping Hotel.com because they don’t care to list this kind of hotel, and you end up wasting your time and money.

The staff was very nice. The room was clean. Everything was just as described.

No bathroom tissue supplied. The room had a horrible smell. The bathtub was stained and unappealing. One of the desks in the room was broken and falling over. Not all the lights worked. The smoke detector was covered with plastic.

Staff were wonderful. Bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were clean. However the carpet was nasty and dirty on the room and throughout the hall ways and stairs.

The first impression when going to the room the corridor was super smelly!! The bathroom was awful!! The bathtubs was not clean, the toilet seat cover was loose, no bathroom tissues, i had to go back and get the tissue from the front desk lady. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

The staff was very kind. Unfortunately the owners ate not. Apparently they dont like for people to book throught hotels.com or any third party site due to their selfishness. I stayed there a month and when the new owners took over they refused to honor my booking. And also called the police for literally no fault of my own

Great value for the cost

Toilet seat broken, no chair in room, back entry door lock broken not a very secure area, breakfast was mediocre, no knife, juice machine needed replacing only one juice. All in all not satisfied with my stay

Needed a place for the night because it was very hot and my RV air conditioner went out. Was with my boys and it was the easiest place to go for the price. The woman at the desk was amazing but the room not so much. Didn't want to make an issue of the room as they were already very busy. We killed 5 roaches in the room and there was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom holes in the shower and mold in the bathroom.

Filthy place, unusable bathroom, AC didn't work, sketchy area, overwhelming cigarette odor

Room was dirty. Curtains didnt cover the windows. Kids stomping around at all hours. Sheets were clean. A/c barely worked. Humid in the bathroom the next morning even though i didnt take a shower, tub cracked and peeling badly.

A bad experience. Bare minimum amenities with some essentials missing like towels, toilet paper and a remote control. Lights not working, sheets not staying in the bed and a terrible smell in the whole building. Stay somewhere else.

Advertised breakfast, but offered nothing. Said "truck did not run yesterday." Well that could have been told at check in the night before and someone could have at least put some cereal or donuts out if they knew about it.

Wasn't to fond of this property, but it was cheap and convenient. If i had to do it again i would of paid the extra $20 to stay at the comfort inn around the corner as a better option.

Front desk service was helpful throughout, including during overnight hours. Room however was not in great condition and had a smoky odor that was bothersome. Did the job, but definitely a below average experience.

The only positive is the price point if you're desperate to stay. We left a few hours after checking in due to safety reasons.

Hotel is smoke free but reeks of stale smoke. Air is musty in the room and smells like mildew. Cover on bed had burn holes.

⸻ One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was in unacceptable condition from the moment I walked in. There was a strong smell of mildew that hit me immediately. The mattress cover had visible mildew, and the bedding had holes and stains that made it feel dirty and unsafe. The bathroom was even worse, the tub was black with grime, had a hole in it, and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Mold and mildew were present throughout the room, making it uninhabitable. I do not recommend staying here. This place needs a serious deep clean and renovation before anyone else should be expected to pay to stay.

Hotel overall was nice and quiet. Tv channels selection was excellent.

Stay was excellent - definitely a great option to sleep on a road trip!

We regularly stay at this Super 8 when in the Memphis/West Memphis area and have been patrons for a number of years. The quality of service has always been excellent. The recent renovations have improved our stays with very comfortable beds and thicker, fluffy towels. The staff remain very friendly and are quick to offer kind assistance. We remain very satisfied customers and will recommend this hotel heartily to any one traveling in this area. Thank you for your standard of excellence!

Great hotel for a stop over on a longer journey

The AC was on in our room, which was appreciated. The bed frames were new but mattresses were old and stained. Sheets looked like they hadn't been changed. New carpet. But bathroom felt like it was going to fall threw floor. Shower faucet leaked and tub didn't drain. We had to use garbage can to stop from over flow. Honestly couldnt leave fast enough.

I arrived late at night and they had been without electricity for a few hours, so were unable to get me my room. I had to get another place which was fine, but when I reached out for a refund super 8 refused to respond.

The room smelt like pee. The lobby, when you first walk in, smelt like smoke from a cigarette.

I was in a non-smoking room that there were cigarette burns on the covers. The door lock was broken. The only nice thing about that location is the staff.

This is our choice motel when we're in the West Memphis area. We are never disappointed. Our room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with clean linens. Bath linens were fluffy and nicer than expected. Shower wall-pump shampoo is a very nice addition. Complimentary breakfast was limited to waffles, juice and coffee, but the waffles are hot and delicious. We remain loyal patrons of this Super 8 motel.

Bathtub was dirty, flush in the washrooms doesn’t work. The hotel stinks with smoke smell.

The breakfast was solely self-made waffles with syrup and choice of three juices. No milk or cereals, etc. were available. The faucet in the bathtub ran a small stream continuously. I measured the flow and calculated that it was wasting at least 64,000 gallons of water per year. I told the clerk and she was already aware of the leak and others and said it had been reported to the owner. I suggested that she tell him how much water and money he is losing without fixing it. The cleaning staff needed to do a better job. We found two "Coke" bottles, one partially empty, and a package of doughnuts left in the room from a prior guest.

Convenient and clean and quiet

I was very happy with the staff running the facility. The are all very happy great you and accommodate your needs. I have been running back and forth to the university hospital for my brother. He had a heart attack on Wednesday. I made it here Thursday evening. So glad this property is a Wyndham location.

Fantastic stay

The staff were amazing but the property itself is rundown and dirty.

Staff were nice, the coffee is real, the room was clean, the AC and hot water worked great. The bed was comfortable. It's an older building and it's exactly what you expect for the price. Glad this place exists, will book again.

The front desk employee was great. The hotel had some renovations and the bed wasn't too bad. The bedspreads had burns that burned through, as if a cigarette had landed in many places. We could hear anyone in the next rooms or hallway. Bathroom was icky.

Was traveling across country and this place was perfect. Got some sleep, a hot shower and was on my way.

My hotel room door wouldn’t lock and when I told them, they laughed and said I know. That was it. No new room or nothing. I just had to tough it out.

Everything was broken in the room. Smelt like stale cigarettes.There was only waffles for breakfast and nothing else Extremely disappointing.

The parking lot next to the hotel is a truck stop. Big lights and endless running engines - the hotel has significant wear and tear. Everything is dilapidated. Although the beds are soft.

A really nice place to stay beds are comfortable staff is friendly conveniently located near fas stations restaurants and highways

This motel never disappoints us! Our room was clean with nice bed linens and fluffy towels. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water available. Coffee is available in the lobby area and a self-service waffle maker provides complimentary breakfast. The staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. This continues to be our motel of choice when visiting the Memphis/West Memphis area. Thanks so much!

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. WE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The waffles and coffee were EXCELLENT 👌👍 too.

Great owner very understanding great and generous people

The property is run down and in need of some serious maintenance. The provided breakfast is a joke.

Not much really The bad— Greeted by a person who dont like her job. In bad shape, many things are broken or damaged, is it so hard ro change a 75 cents light bulb? Breakfast ONLY has waffles juice and coffee….but it was good. The ugly— Right next to highway and very VERY noisy.

The rooms were a bit worn and could use some minor repairs and attention to aesthetics. Other than that, the place was clean. At the morning breakfast get your coffee early since they run out quickly.

Great stay for a very low price. Quality service and the rooms are nice as well. Would recommend and would stay again, No smoking policy but that's okay.

I don't expect much for a budget hotel but a door handle falling off, and shower head that doesnt flow and making a reoort to the front desk of potential domestic abuse throught the night and their response was "sorry" and shrugged it off. Well that tells you how important customer service is to them.

Room had a broken window. Heater blowing cool air. Lights and receptacles next to the bed not working. Shower had a big patched hole and was filthy.

A Leak in the bathroom ceiling had to move to another room very uncomfortable

The property could use some upgrades here and there. Nettie was a great help I’m handicap and had a lot of to carry in and out of the car. Nettie was nice enough to help me with getting my things and helping me to the room.

Breakfast was not the same as explained at the check-in. The front-desk said that the truck for the breakfast did not come so only waffle and coffee.

Just stopped in to nap while driving cross country. Staff was very nice, no complaints there. There didnt seem to be much in the way of breakfast at all the morning I was there, so that was unfortunate. There was a good ihop next door. Tv didn't work, said it was hooked up to camcorder, sketch, but surely not sketchy as that sounds, not really the criminal minds type place by any means. They also make you pay a $50 deposit on top of your room. Can't stand when hotels do that, you never know when or if you'll get the deposit back. It's no great wolf lodge, but the bed was comphy, I slept like a rock, and the shower worked.

Staff was lovely and apologetic. They offered to move us but it was late, my son was already asleep and would it be any better? Breakfast was non existent. At least there is an IHOP next door.

The breakfast was not as good as before. The staff said it was because of changes to the city's health regulations putting more restrictions. They still had the make your own waffles, but could not offer milk and some other normal breakfast items.

Skylar at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful getting. Is settled after a long day of travel. Not a fancy place but it worked perfectly for our overnight stay.

The property has cigarettes smell all over the place and it's noisy during the night as well due to parked trucks adjacent to the hotel.
