Very clean, no bugs, everything worked, nice and quiet. The only thing we had any trouble with was the TV - the remote was a little confusing, and while the HDMI cable was conveniently placed right below the screen, we couldn't get it to recognize our BluRay player on any of the input channels.

The desk manager went out of his way to help us change rooms the next morning to a ground floor because we have trouble with stairs. This was unexpected and very much appreciated. The room was very clean as were every appliance in the room. As this is one of the older hotels in the area, I didn’t expect it to be as well kept as it is. I will not hesitate to stay there again. I couldn’t be happier!

My sister and I chose this for the price, and luckily were able to get a ground floor room, since I forget to check whether or not there is an elevator (there is not). We took an Uber into Memphis to avoid parking issues in the city, and it took 15-20 minutes. A decent place.

Excellent hotel for an affordable price. My only suggestion would be to put some light to mark that driveway entrance. It’s hard to see when coming in at night with a left turn.

It's a motel where all the doors open to the outside, so parking was perfect - right outside our door. Room was perfectly clean. Bed was comfy. Convenient location - right off I55. Front desk clerk was efficient and polite.

Our room was very comfortable. It was nice and clean. The nightstands have built in electrical outlets for charging your phone overnight. The TV was larger than most hotels and was mounted on the wall, giving more space on the dresser, which was a nice touch. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, as well. We will definitely stay again on our next time traveling through West Memphis.

The lady that checked us in was very rude she seemed mad that she had to do her job. She also had zero communication skills when talking to a customer.

It is not what it looks like in these photos. There was hair still stuck to shower wall. Brown stains in shower. Beds were OK but very very stiff. In a sketchy location.

The check in made me think i had entered a hotel where safely was a concern. We rented 2 rooms and each room had to show ID. We only had a small curved glass opening on a flat counter to pas paperwork through. Made me uncomfortable as a single room occupant even with my friend sleeping next door.

It was okay experience simple the hotel had a funny smell and it was a it was owned by those people there was no breakfast the coffee was terrible and there was people running back and forth on the top deck for a while and I didn't feel very safe I mean I felt okay but the room was clean and smelled decent but it wasn't my favorite before

SO CLEAN and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and attentive. The surrounding are it’s the best but it was definitely a good place to sleep if you’re passing through or plan to be out and about during the day

Super clean!! That’s my number one criteria for a place to stay and this was absolutely immaculate. Comfy bed and blankets and nice hot shower. I got the best night sleep in months here. We booked it again for our return trip home. Definitely recommend!

Room 211 dirty,we didn't even stay 1hr when we checked in put the suitcase in the room and left to eat at the casino around 4:15pm got back around 5:30pm pull the cover back on the bed and its hair everywhere and a big pee stain in the middle told the lady at the front desk she tried to give us clean sheets we was so gross out we left and i ask for a refund and she said that's not possible, i took pictures and im going to dispute the charges at my bank

I stay here often for business. The staff is always friendly, the beds are comfortable, and rooms are consistently clean. Not fancy, no frills, but great value.

5 stars for a 2 star hotel in comparison to other 2 star hotels. Very clean updated well maintained room. Maybe a musty smell but not overly smelly. Only negative maybe the area. I didn’t have an issue but signs in the lot were the standard "we are not responsible for damage... theft etc .. Good for a 1 night stay. Not far from downtown Memphis by car. Easily went back to the Arcade for breakfast. Definitely would stay again

Front desk people aren’t always there ! One day staff came in, took all of my towels, even the ones that you weren’t even dirty and I believe someone came in and actually drank some of my wine because I had a nice amount in there and when I got back, there was only like two glasses worth. don’t feel safe when they’re men at the top of the stairs. I don’t know if they’re maintenance men, but it should be more secure for women by themselves. The other thing is my key hardly ever works. I’ve been here for over a week I had to go downstairs while I had things in my hand because my card to get in wasn’t working.

Hotel was off the beaten path and the area did not seem entirely safe, though we did not experience an issue.

With only one car in the parking lot for the whole hotel, and every room door looking like it was broken into, we decided not to even get out of the car and go elsewhere. To make matters worse, we were billed for the night and neither the hotel management, nor Hotels.com, would make it right.

Safe location, clean and comfortable room. Only gripe was that there was no luggage storage facilities, however in fairness, it was not advertised that there was. Luggage was safe left in the car while we explored downtown.

The room was extremely clean, the linen was clean and smelled fresh! The bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! Also, I was greeted by name! Don’t get that very often!

Place was super clean and so comfortable. Room was super cold and very roomy. Staff was very nice and we parked right in front of our room. No elevators but I didn’t mind, it was a great price for prime location. *Bonus* Casino right across the street!

We arrived and we had to make changes to our reservation and they accommodate us without issue. The room was clean warm and dry. We were able to get out of a bad storm and get rest for the night.

Great stay! The only negative is that the road to the hotel makes it look a little shady from the back but it faces the road with other businesses and hotels. Cleanliness was awesome and the best I've seen at other hotels for the same price and even some more expensive ones. Staff was friendly and our night stay was great. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through or staying in the area.

Traveling to and from Cleveland to bring our granddaughter home from college. West Memphis, Arkansas was about the half way point. We stopped on the way going and we were very impressed with the room. It was nicer than the more expensive places. We decided to stop on the way back 2 days later.

Very spacious room. Suite couch was comfortable. Clean and quiet, except for wind whistling in door. Weatherstripping around door would fix this and also help with heating/cooling costs. Close to freeways for easy access.

The price is right and I actually slept well which raaaarely happens in hotel rooms. Back problems, fibromyalgia etc, but here was great! The front desk guy was super nice too. If I ever stay in Memphis again it will definitely be here.

Family trip. Stopped for the night was very spacious and clean room.

Room was comfortable and spacious. Television played audio but no video. Shower (water pressure and area of spray cone) was laughable.

Clean, quiet and safe. Me and my wife were in Memphis for the St Jude Marathon weekend. The Homegate Inn provided us the comfortable room and good location we needed.

Hard to access parking lot. Few options for dining nearby. Thin walls. Very low water pressure. No lamps.

The owner was nice to keep our harp in a separate room over night so we can keep it in a stable temperature in AC.

We were on the last leg of a week long trip and just wanted a bed to sleep on and a hot shower. We opened the door and it was so clean and spacious. The shower was clean and great water pressure. I was so thankful. Located less than 10min from Beale St. and easy to get to. Will definately keep this in mind for our next trip.

Circumstances and change of plans caused me to cancel my reservation a day after the deadline. However, I had purchase the trip insurance which gave me an additional two days to cancel. The hotel still charged a $50 penalty for not meeting their original deadline

For a very average looking town, this was a great hotel.

King-size bed comfortable, tv available channels, accessible parking, easy check-in.

Stay was perfect except for the water pressure in the restroom. Bed was very clean, very comfortable, room was perfect.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived, my reservation had not been received from hotels.com (I booked a week in advance). But the staff was able to recreate my booking at the same price. I am so appreciative of the people who work here!

This was a very good value. The property is bare bones, but we'll maintained. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky due to the confusing access roads. The lobby is currently under renovation, thus you must deal with the front desk clerk thru a window. That said, we would stay here again if we are traveling thru the area.

Fairly isolated, quiet, felt safe.

This place was surprisingly clean. We didn’t like the fact there wasn’t an elevator but then we discovered this is also an older style hotel. That’s the only reason why I knocked off a star. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. Great company place to stop if all you need is a bed.

I don’t often leave reviews. I had read prior to arrival decent reviews of this Motel Hotel. Upon arrival there was no one at the desk and you have to ring a bell every time you enter. No breakfast and I’m not sure I would eat it if they did. The room smelled terrible and stale. Daylight around door and not sealed. Bugs flew thru the crack. Towels are paper thin and cheap. Tiny tv and old school. The area did not feel safe. It was not a good stay at all. Could not wait to check out.

My stay was pleasant

The staff was awesome. The rest left a lot to be desired. The non-smoking room smelled pretty strongly of smoke when we entered. The carpet was slightly damp: not like something had been spilled on it, but it was just retaining a lot of moisture from humidity. The air unit moved the air, but didn't cool it very effectively. We both had a difficult time sleeping because of all of this.

The front desk was friendly. The room was nicely renovated and also, clean.

Nice , comfortable stay

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Getting into the parking lot is a bit awkward. You do get some traffic noise but nothing that kept us awake or would keep us from staying again.
