Very clean. Great breakfast

The property is clean. Rooms size is good. Staff is fantastic. Breakfast is good. I think the beds in my room are ready for a refresh. The mattress has a significant sag to it, and the box spring seemed to be broken. If those were changed, the room would have been excellent.

Great hotel to stop at while traveling. Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds and great location right off the highway. Will stay there again.

i booked a 2 queen room as it was my father and I traveling together and when we arrived it was a one king room and when i went to the front desk they said "I don't know why they always book those rooms when we have none" and did not accommodate us at all not even a roll out bed. i will never stay here again the fact that i booked and paid for a double bed room and got a single bed room and also the fact that the staff didnt seem to care

We could hear the highway noise. It was very loud...they had ear plugs, but don't like to wear them. That was the only issue

The kind lady running breakfast made our stay especially enjoyable. She was friendly, made sure we had everything we needed before cleaning up, and engaged us in conversation as she worked/we finished eating.

The bathroom was not very clean. There was a lot of hair on toilet and on pillows on the bed tub was not clean.

Be careful what room you pick on Expedia. I called the hotel itself and asked if a a 2 queen room was available. The front desk person said there is. The price on Expedia was cheaper than what she said, so she suggested I use that to book. I stayed on the phone with her until she received my reservation. I paid a little more and booked a 2 queen bed room. When my husband got there, it was 1 bed and a couch (not even a pullout). I called the front desk this morning and a different front desk person was rude and did not really care about the situation. She blamed it all on Expedia and that I need to reach out to them about having a wrong listing. I’m not sure what’s going on with customer service these days.

Beautiful newer hotel with good breakfast. There is highway noise but there are ear plugs provided in room. We were able to sleep fine without them.

The positive of the experience was that the room was large. The staff at the front desk were beyond rude, the bathroom dirty, barely there water pressure, cheap towels and soap. A badly stained shower was the cherry on top. We could not get two queens so got a king with a sleeper sofa for our three person group. The sofa did not have bedding and once we were able to get it from the front desk, it badly fit the very thin mattress and would not stay on. The interstate was very close and extremely loud and busy. We stay at HIE a LOT and this was a really big let down.

Room needs to be updated they painted the tub and you could feel the paint crumbs on the bottom of your feet. Phone didn’t work. Best thing about the property was the breakfast.

We're on a family road trip and had a "spillage issue" that required laundering a big body pillow that couldn't be done in a standard washer/dryer. The staff went above and beyond to help us get it clean and dry using their commercial laundry machine. They were incredibly kind and super helpful! So thankful!!

Staff were very polite, however I was unaware we booked a hotel right next to a interstate and truck stop so it was very noisy. They provided ear plugs but...The breakfast was good. However, the carpet and flooring were filthy - when I got in the shower the shower floor was dark from the dirt on my feet. That is one thing that really puts me off about any hotel.

The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, check in/out was seamless. The thing that stood out the most though was the breakfast. We met Ms. Lisa, who was responsible for the breakfast. She made, by far, the best hotel breakfast we have had. It tasted like we were eating at home. Everything was seasoned, well cooked, and the area was spotless. We would 100% stay there again, especially if Ms Lisa was cooking.

Very nice place to stay. Felt comfortable and safe. Quiet. Got a great nights sleep. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Gave breakfast a low rating only because it was a grab bag since it was a holiday and breakfast wasn’t the normal service, but I understand. I appreciate their effort in producing healthy options like yogurt and fruit.

Everything was great except there was no hot water in the shower that night. Staff was very sweet and helpful and we were pleasantly surprised how nice and quiet it was even though it was located just off the busy highway. We were on the backside of the property which probably was why!

Rooms arnt bad if it’s the newly remodeled rooms but the others are less than desired. Strong Oder you could live with in the room. Lack of maintenance and poor cleaning skills. Usually I have no problem here but it’s been a few months and it seems to I’ve gone down hill more than your normal average wear and tear. Friendly staff though

The breakfast was great from taste to presence. Lisa the cook was awesome. The room was clean and I love the dove products provided. It was very comfortable.

Horrible experience could not sleep. People were swimming at the pool at 2 AM and having a party.

The bathroom was well supplied with good quality hygiene items. It was very clean and well-lit. Although the hotel was right on the highway, the noise of the trucks & traffic did not bother us. We got a restful night's sleep. The morning breakfast was great! Many options for however one wanted to enjoy it. Everything tasted very good. We would be happy to return to this Holiday Inn Express in West Memphis if we're traveling again, and we would not hesitate to give it our highest rating and recommend it to all.

The room was update, comfortable, & clean. I saw a few ants in room but we never ate in the room. We went out to eat.

Noise from the interstate was so loud I had difficulty sleeping even with earplugs in and a white noise generator going. If I had known that it was going to be so bad I would have asked for s room away from the highway.

We were put in the same room on our return trip as 2 weeks earlier. Sink was very cracked and cracks were stained. Toilet seat was chipped and carpet very stained by the closet. Maintenance needs should be given much attention.

To start… side door for entry with card was not working. Stuck there with all our luggage. Then remote for TV didn’t work, was stuck on full blast! The ice machine on our floor didn’t work.. Staff was very apologetic and helpful with the remote situation..

Hotel and rooms are in need of repairs. Our sink was cracked, toilet was chipped and room also had a musty odor to it. The room was fairly clean though.

I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a short stay or even a longer stay. Very close to the freeway and also the casino. We are ever passing through the area again we will definitely consider making this hotel are stopping point for a rest. The only reason it has four stars on some of the items is because the AC was not working at the time but they did do very well and accommodating for that.

The shower head was inadequate for my needs they were not reach far enough the shower had no non-slip material in it and I almost fell and killed myself I would not recommend this hotel to anybody that is handicapped or otherwise cuz they obviously don't care about anybody the manager did not even apologize

Parking accommodations were great and the breakfast offered was consistent with other HIE locations.

Our room didn’t have hot water so we had to move rooms after we had settled in. The new room had hot water but the faucet had to be turned just so to turn to warm. The breakfast was great and the women working in the dining room were sweet and personable.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was what we needed for a family of 5 but the tub did not drain well so after 3 showers I was standing in ankle deep water while showering. Breakfast was good quality and variety but there were several pieces of hair in the batch of bacon; staff was quick to swap it out but it was clear the issue was from preparation.

The room had mold black mold on the air conditioner vent. I couldn’t find a towel without someone else’s hair on it. The carpet is nasty and shower was not cleaned. I frequent here and this hotel is consistently getting worse.

I only have positive things to say, The staff all were courteous and helpful. The room had plenty of space. Very quiet and I had no problems sleeping. The breakfast bar was good. The rate was reasonable. I would stay here again if I come back to the area to visit.

The front staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection in the morning. We got a pull out sofa bed for one child but it was in such bad shape and uncomfortable we just all squeezed into the queen bed. The bathroom was updated however the paint was mostly peeled out of the tub, looking terrible. The hotel was quiet and good for 1 overnight. Didn't feel the price was worth what we got, especially since the sofa bed was so uncomfortable (and we don't usually have high expectations for sofa beds. The regular beds were comfortable though.

Floor in the room was sticky. The shower was not properly cleaned. The duvet was moist and the room smelled like mildew. The nightstand, desk and console surfaces were also dirty. The whole area around the property is extremely sketchy and you are better off not leaving a single thing in your car. Poor lighting in the parking lot and the lot backs up to a truck stop. Would not recommend at all as a stop

We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was full of contractors. The car park was full of trucks and trailers. The room was clean as were the reception. We went to breakfast the first morning and were told the oven broke the day before and there was no hot breakfast. Also there was no milk until a delivery in the afternoon. The 2nd morning the hot breakfast was unavailable again. The receptionist said it was a free extra so they didn't have to provide it, even though it was advertised. She was very unhelpful. We've stayed at 3 Holiday Inns in Memphis and this was by far the worst.

Front desk staff was very pleasant and relocated me to the other side of the building to mitigate the noise.

The only problem here is the TV channel selection - can not get any major networks - ABC, CBS, NBC. Front desk tried to help, but no luck.

We stayed overnight,passing through. Check in was friendly and efficient. The beds were comfy and I appreciated the built-in nightlight in the bathroom. Breakfast was hot and had a great variety, with cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and pastries.

Quick and Courteous Check in

The location is too close to highway and the direction of the building is parallel to the high way. The first room I got was very stinky, and the staff was responsive to change the room. The 2nd room window was at the highway side. It was very noisy that I could hardly fall asleep.

Everything was excellent until we went to breakfast. Everything was supposed to be hot and was cold like it just came out of the refrigerator. The trip home was miserable having to stop multiple times with diarrhea.

Everything was excellent except for that there is only one person on the front desk and no one can bring the extra bedding up to the room , the worst part was when we went to breakfast at 9:30 and the lady refused to replace the mix bag for the pancake machine because it’s too close to the closing time (10) which made my kids upset and she was rude to the kids when they asked her to replace it.

The overall experience was very good—the only problem is that there was a snafu with check-in: the front desk staff gave another guest my room, and she opened the door to my room. This was the first time any such thing has happened in all my stays at Holiday Inn Express, and it was quite upsetting.

Built VERY close to I-40. Rooms on north are very noisy from highway noise. Strange smell in room…bedding was worn… chair/couch is stained. Not the 8 hotel that was tanked on Orbitz. Stayed in a MUCH nicer hotel last night for $40 less. Disappointed…

Clean in the lobby area and nicely decorated with halloween decor which kids loved! However, we came in late from travels and clearly have that ive got small children when we got up to the room they called and said we were being noisy well.. thats what happens when ur unpacking and getting the kids to bed, room wasnt very clean pull out couch found stuff all under it, the carpet was dirty per our feet from walking around hard to get our towels fresh or garbage taken out, i dont think this is family friendly!
