Our room was a nice size and ready early. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and gave us treats for our pup. The valet service was quick and convenient. We enjoyed delicious drinks at the outdoor bar with our pup. All in all, it was a great stay!

We had such a lovely stay the location is great with some amazing food spots close by like the butchers daughter and great white. The hotel is super modern and the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. The staff are all lovely and super efficient, especially the valets they are always such a pleasure so helpful and couldn’t be friendlier they really stand out. Nothing it was a great stay.

The lobby was nice, the pet service was nice. However, my room was underwhelming, unclean in some parts, especially for a 5-star hotel. There were some stains on the carpet and on the actual sink of the hotel, there were literal drain flies coming out. The caulking also looked old around the shower. We stayed only for 1 night hence not complaining as it was the only 2-bed available left for that day (we got moved). Too bad this happened as it was a perfect location.

The room that I received was right next to the service elevator making it extremely loud in the mornings. It was not thoroughly cleaned as I found rose petals underneath a chair directly in the line of site. The A/C heater took a while to actually work so I was either too cold or too hot for most of my stay. The carpet was stained and the room had a slight smell to it. Upon checkout I requested that my EV be charged and was told that Valet was behind but that it would be taken care of. I waited for over an hour and apparently they forgot to plug it in. I'll give it three stars for the excellent location but overall I do not feel it was worth the $1200 I paid for 2 nights.

Big room and nice bed I was told during the check out that they were sending the invoice by mail and they didn’t. I asked for it several times and always the answer was that it should be booking who provided it. Booking says that it should be them by contract. One way or another 2 weeks after my stay, still have not the invoice.

The hotel was quite stunning with a feeling of luxury, in a great location. Whilst the hotel looked luxurious, the experience itself just lacked a bit of polish to give it 5 stars (systems down at check in, no message to advise the room was ready, no towels left in the room after house keeping, the reception and in house dining phones ringing out several times before answer etc)

I had good experience although my only issue was low water pressure in the shower, and there was only rain shower and not an option for shower head. And the carpet was not properly cleaned and I had some dust as well. I stayed for one night so didn’t have time or seen a reason to complain. Beside that everything was perfect.

An expensive ring was stolen from my room. Be careful. One day, my wife left a case of jewelry (mostly costume jewelry) on the table. It contained the only expensive item—a 4,000€ Bulgari ring. The next day (after checkout), she discovered the ring was missing. I'm almost certain the hotel staff has been stealing for years, as the cleaning staff knew what to take. The case contained inexpensive Chanel jewelry and a lot of unknown brands, but they didn't take it. Be careful and remember to take all your valuables with you, and don't leave them in your room.

There was no proper oxygen circulation in the rooms, and I found it very hard to breathe. I had to request a humidifier, but unfortunately, it had a bad smell. I still kept it on because it was the only thing that helped me get through the night. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

Good, clean, spacious ,comfy room. Overall, it was a good experience. However, there was significant confusion during check-in — staff mistakenly assigned my friend to someone else’s room, which caused inconvenience. Fortunately, the room belonged to another friend; otherwise, it could have been a serious issue."

During our five-night stay at the hotel, our family of four had the pleasure of utilizing the gym, pool, and restaurant. While the gym was compact, it provided all the necessary equipment for a swift workout. The pool, though modest in size, was not an issue due to its lack of crowds. The restaurant offered an exceptional experience, with both delicious food and excellent service.

Great staff and above average amenities. Plenty of entertainment and food within walking distance. The pool area is cozy and the bar area has its own vibe. Not outrageously priced for an upscale hotel, however paying $70+ to park is a little steep.

First, the pre check-in experience was underwhelming. When I arrived around 2:30pm or so, I was assisted by Emanuel, who pointed out that many other 11 groups of guests had already checked in through a priority rewards program. He said he’d notify me when my room was ready—but I never received any notification. I returned around the standard 4 PM check-in time and was finally given a room, but the tone of the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Things got worse from there. My room faced the courtyard, where the hotel was hosting a private event with loud music and cheering. I had just landed from a long flight and was hoping to rest around 5 PM, but the noise made it impossible to nap. Staff said the event would end by 10 PM, but the music continued well past that, closer to 11 PM. When I raised the issue, the front desk said the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t move me. There was zero accountability and no proactive solution offered. The soundproofing in the rooms is awful, especially for a hotel at this price point. This stay fell far short of expectations in both hospitality and comfort. I wouldn’t recommend staying here—especially not in a room near the courtyard or during weekends when events are likely. You can hear

I think our room looked ready to be refurbished--almost- bare spots and some cuts in carpeted area. What most caught my eye was that there was no type of armchair in the room! When I called to ask for a chair, I very promptly received what what clearly a chair used for banquets/events. I haven't seen a hotel room--from a Holiday Inn Express to the Four Seasons Wailea--without a chair. --The window shades were great for darkening the room, but getting one of them to stay in its track was difficult. The bottom of it was a bit mangled and had black stains on it. The sheer curtains had some mold or rust stains on them. The towels were very thin. -- Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, service was great, and all personnel were friendly.

The location Way to expensive for what it is. Marketed as 5 star hotel. Check in at 1 pm would result in an « early check-in fee » of 100 USD. At arrival no one helps you with your bags. You carry them yourself. At the front desk you are given a sheet of paper with all the information regarding breakfast etc. instead of the receptionist talking to you No coffee machine in the room. No turndown service. The gym is in a devastated condition

I spoke with management while there, but the service was a nightmare. We have loved this hotel in the past and for my bday so I booked the penthouse, expecting a wonderful luxurious experience…. The room was so dirty. The coffee machine was empty, no cups, smelly /stale air.. they wouldn’t let me have an extra blanket and the room service NEVER answered . We had to go down and order the food and they said they didn’t have the time to drop off at our room…. In the morning we ordered to go breakfast (a BAGEL) and waited 45 mins in the lobby waiting area for it- it was not busy. The service and housekeeping has fallen drastically. Big disappointment.

The hotel itself was nice, it’s in a great location and very walkable. The rooms are nice and spacious and overall the hotel is a good one. However the hotel staff at check in mentioned that they would block the amount on credit charge and upon checkout I could decide my final payment method, mentioning that cash payment is an option upon checkout. However when we went to check out I found out that my card had already been charged without my say so and I was never able to pay cash like Sammie and aumbry at the front desk said.

An very uneven stay. It’s a beautiful property in a great location. But With loud generators operating 24/7 sleep was not easy. Then an electricity shutdown one day and alarm bells going off the next, it certainly wasn’t a 5-star experience. Maybe it was just all bad timing, but other reviews lead me to think it’s an ongoing issue.

Room was good size and clean. Balcony very dirty, not worth trying to use. Could not get breakfast two days in a row due to hotel not having adequate staff in kitchen. This was second stay at hotel. great location but not worth the staffing problems. Will not return.

I am regular here! I love it. I’ve stayed in most of the luxury hotels in WeHo (The 1, Edition, Sunset Tower, London, Pendry)- and I think La Peer is the best overall. It’s a great location at a really great price. It’s a quiet hotel that still has a great restaurant and bar. The staff is amazing and the rooms are really large for the location and price. It doesn’t have the “scene” at the pool like some of the other spots- but it’s still a great spot. The only thing I would avoid is a room near the electrical /storage room. Staff is in and out of it early in the morning and you can hear the door slam if you are in the room next to or across from it. We love this place and probably stay here 5-10 a month!

Although the property is addressed in West Hollywood, it's actually at the border of Beverly Hills. It's the best part of West Hollywood yet stone throw away from the Beverly Hills where all the stars live.

There was an item charged to my room after I checked out and I did not receive a receipt for it. Would you please provide the receipt in full amount for the stay at Kimpton La Peer Hotel.

The second day I asked Andreas at the front desk if I could upgrade my room to a balcony room which I would have been happy to have paid for. He proceeded to tell me that the rooms are noisy and expensive and the ac wasn’t working. This was a bit frustrating as the ac wasn’t working in the room that I was in. There was a black out in the area, and the hotel didn’t notify us. I woke up in the middle of the night and banged my knee on the dresser next to me bc I wanted to use the bathroom. I did not even complain about any of this. I said to myself it’s a hiccup and it’s okay. The following night my friend and I were having drinks in their bar, where the bartender rudely cut my friend off. Luckily I had my Snapchat on record and I went back to view what happened. We were eating Girl Scout cookies and we might have been a little loud when talking but the bartender could have just told us to keep it down instead of being so rude. I initially booked this property bc I have a breast surgery coming up in two weeks and have been extremely stressed out and needed an escape. I had an anxiety attack and my mom was in the room upstairs I just needed my medication. The hotel proceeded to call the ambulance who did not even transport me. Worst experience!

The outside was a bit dirty with trash. However the worst part was the construction outside, noisy and hard to drive down the street.

It was quiet but also had a great bar and wine happy hour. The rooftop Pickleball court was a cool feature, but it was often dirty with leftover glasses and drinks. The pool was nice and quiet, but I wish there was more service offered out at the pool.

The bathroom is uncomfortable even if you’re there with your romantic partner. You can see the toilet seat almost from anywhere in the room. On the plus side, the neighborhood is great, very walkable and close to good restaurants and shops.

Active construction that wakes you up before 8am. Be aware that parking is $65 a night and there are daily fees even after booking with Expedia and paying for the stay. About another $100/ day when you park.

From valet to check out this hotel is THE BEST!!! Everyone was so nice. The hotel is impeccable. The room was the best I think I've every stayed in. So spacious & clean. I can not say enough about this place! LOVED IT!

The hotel was very hip and the rooms were awesome very tastefully decorated. The valet process was a bit confusing but we got past that quick. The pool area and Lobby bar was awesome. Overall very positive experience

Probably one of the BEST stays I’ve had in WeHo. Great staff, Beautiful Hotel, amazing breakfast! The staff is So friendly and really goes above and beyond!!

Upon arrival was given a room with a view of scaffolding. Called the front desk and stared the situation. Was told Hotel was at capacity. I asked if he could double check. Found another room and with a dismissive attitude, gave me a new key.Lack of initiative or interest was apparent!

Everything met expectations with the exception of two small grievances. The room we were in was just ok. Very plain and boring. Second, there was construction going on right outside our room. Every morning right at 7a.m. the construction work began.

Location only strength. Stayed at lower-rated hotels in twice over 4 months and both were better. 1. Futon-like springy bed with bad pillows. 2. No water pressure in the dribbling shower with the toilet and sink stopping up repeatedly. 3. Cookies(?) crushed in to carpet 4. Clock unplugged and never fixed amidst tangled cords 5. TP roll in bathroom was 2/3 used upon arrival. Our second room was cleaned with the no TP ever placed. 6. There was no remote control for the TV in the room (waited an hour for delivery after two calls.) 7. No sheet placed under the duvet (one was on top) and the response after a discussion with the sarcastic front desk assistant was to send up 3 sheets for us to fix the bed ourselves. 8. No sugar substitute at coffee station (twice) despite request. 9. No help with bags to room at arrival. 10. No complimentary water in the room but a 12$ spring water bottle available 11. Few drawers for clothes unpacking. 12. Uncomfortable (essentially unusable) furniture. 13. Elevator with a spilled drink on the floor for 2 days. 14. Gift shop never opened and looked like a storage room 15. Front desk folks are under-staffed 16. One day Housekeeping just never came. 17. The outrageous unheard of parking charges are out of line even for Ca. construction is beyond the hotels control. All in all a 2.5 star hotel at best and not recommended without serious improvement

might want to keep in mind there is no coffee in your room. you have to request an espresso machine. found out after spending 30$ USD on a pot of coffee. lovely area. lovely hotel. horrible operations.

The many issues we had are unrelated to our experience with the local staff--they were great. However, we paid top dollar for the hotel room and honestly didn't feel it was worth it. Dealing with IHG was awful. The worst luxury membership I've dealt with. They stated they would comp valet in advance but when we arrived the desk they didn't have that information. The local team later rectified this after we had to explain the situation in person with the front desk and through awkward texts with the property manager. That was strike one. Strike two was being on the fourth floor facing very active construction. On Friday we were told the construction doesn't happen over the weekend but that wasn't the case. We woke up to construction every day around 7am. The view (which we really didn't mind) was of rebar, construction workers, and portapotties. Not ideal, but its LA. Strike three was a broken sink. After check-in, I decided to shave before going to a work event, only to learn the drain didnt work. Called the front desk & they sent an engineer who fixed the sink while my partner and I were both in wet towels. Turns out the hotel is replacing their drain stoppers to the push/press kind... really inconvenient to find out the hard way after shaving. The property has potential but needs to price accordingly during construction & renovations. Our coworkers stayed at the Montrose, had a bigger room, paid less, and had no issues.

Great hotel, location with great room. All staff was very friendly except for the bartender girl that was extremely rude. Even some locals sitting at the bar said she is always rude. It did leave a little bad taste unfortunately

Nobody mentioned that there's constrution going on in front of my room windows.
