Comfort Inn & Suites West Des Moines

everything was great!!

The bed was nice if I could actually sleep. Kids running up and down the hallway made it hard to relax/sleep, was told by staff that they could try to find the parents but no guarantee that they’d stop. If you have kids, control them!!

They breakfast was fresh, the room was very clean.Staff at check-in was very helpful and parking was very easy to access. I would use them again in the future.

Worst hotel experience i have had to date. Room had a weird smell to it, unsure how to describe it but it didn’t smell like a clean room. Pillows and the couch smelled weird hard to describe so i apologize. Room was muggy the two nights we stayed. AC was on the entire time but it was humid and muggy the entire time to the point we had to open the window to get some fresh air in. Informed the front desk about it and allegedly an engineer came and looked at it while we were gone. Nothing changed and it was still humid. Not sure if they have daily room service but if they don’t disregard this but I was expecting room service to come in and get our dirty towels and supply us with more but unfortunately they didn’t come. Had to get new towels from front desk and I asked if we could get room service done while we were out of the hotel but they informed us the room service would be done the next day which didn’t help. Overall was a terrible experience spent $330 that I won’t get back and wish i could. Never going to a comfort inn again. Only positive was being able to eat breakfast in the morning and even that wasn’t great but i commend the lady that worked hard preparing it those two days.
