She followed up with us shortly after check-in and again the next day to ensure everything was going well. Stayed at this property a couple of times now, staff is very helpful at check in and the rooms have been clean. Breakfast is well served and hearty, saves money when on vacation in Los Angeles.

We recently stayed here for a relatives memorial service. The hotel location is perfect. Close to shopping, dining and easy access to the highway. The Hampton Inn has a relaxing environment and thoughtful design. They also provided a great breakfast and always had fresh coffee available. While we were really impressed with our room, I can’t say enough about the great staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. They really cared about how our stay was going. We hope to be back soon under better circumstances. I will definitely stay here again. Great experience!

Very convenient lots of places near the location to visit restaurant smalls very close to the area I was visiting with Family clean beautiful, very beautiful Well, I really did not like anything about the place. I loved everything about the place. My only problem is I do have a Disability and I should’ve said that while I was booking my stay and I didn’t so I had to go upstairs and all the way down the hall with my luggage, which was it was uncomfortable for myself, but that’s because I did not like I said let them know ahead of time of my Disability.

Hotel was on point and the customer service was amazing!!! Stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed the pool and the breakfast!! Will definitely be back soon !!

Everything was adequate and fair for the price. Breakfast was better than I expected, both in quality and in the number of choices. The only thing I didn't like was being next to the fwy and having Hwy 10 be my scenic view, but par for the course being in LA (I grew up there). Thankfully, the windows provided the needed soundproofing. Being next to the freeway did have its advantages for quickly getting on and off, and the hotel was conveniently located near old downtown Covina, a quaint little downtown with good eating places, nightclubs, and just promenading the streets for people watching.

-the room had double beds and space was very tight. It felt like we were bumping into each other. -bed was either very soft or it would dip where people had slept on? But my toddlers slept well on it so I didn't take time to investigate the beds. - bed skirt, carpet had some fresh stains. I'm guessing the previous guest spilled soda or something. I looked under the bed skirt and there was some tissue lint; likely from trying to wipe up the spill. So I would say the housekeeping could do a better job of cleaning. There was no housekeeping during our 3 night stay. I think it's only upon request so we ended up leaving our garbage outside the door on the second day and it was picked up quickly. The bathroom was well lit and very clean. Breakfast: Oatmeal. flavored water, apple and orange juice, scrambled eggs, sausage patty smoked sausages, hardboiled eggs. Bread, english muffins, blueberry and chocolate muffins, and bready pastries. 3 types of cereal. Make your own waffles. Fruit. The sausage patties tended to be too salty. The smoked sausages were delicious. My daughter loved the waffles. Breakfast was from 6-9am so it's a bit early. I was down there one day at 6am and others at 8/8:30ish and it was never too crowded and foods were restocked quickly. Lots of parking. Easy access to freeway. Shopping mall is close by but recommend driving over instead of walking. Room was bit too small for us but still like Hampton Inn

We had online work today so stayed at the hotel for WiFi use. No issues with that. Used the pool area but no lounge chairs, just regular chairs and table. Would have been nice to use. My wife and I used the gym each morning and it was very well maintained. Luckily not too many people in at the time of use. Space is limited.

Very nice and clean room. However the lotion bottle was empty and the conditioner, almost empty. The staff was friendly. In every Hampton Inn they receive me with 2 bottles of water at no charge and in this one I had to buy the water. That's the only thing that threw me off.

The room was in good condition however we were woken up several times during the night by a yappy dog. It also started yapping again just before 6am. The breakfast was okay but I wouldn't say it was a top rated breakfast. Scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sliced smoke sausage, waffles etc ...

I had a very enjoyable three days at this location. The front desk clerk that helped me when I checked in was extremely helpful and nice other than the beds being a little too firm for my taste. I had a great day and the breakfast was fantastic.

The rooms were much smaller than advertised. A queen size bed is not a standard queen size bed. There was minimal room to move about. Allowing three adults and a child to stay in a room. That small just seems ridiculous in that restrictions or advice should have been given in advance and we would have happily booked a Sacramento.

Checking in was fine but the second floor they put us on smelled horrible! Like old urine a porta potty. So badly we had to hold our breath walking through. One of the employees was working on cleaning it and explained someone left a dirty diaper all night but it smelled more like the toilet overflowed and the dirty water seeped everywhere. Not that isn’t just the problem. The complimentary breakfast was empty at 7:45am. Coffee, hot water, tea and creamer was never refilled. The room is tiny, the beds are full and not queen. The toiletries they normally place there for the guest were missing, all they had was a bar of hand soap. The faucet in the tub doesn’t work for the hot water. Our stay is for 3 nights and they never came to clean the room. The property itself is small and out dated but I will say it’s kept nice outside and centrally located to everything. It’s disappointing since we travel all the time for family and work since we live in AZ I was hoping that this hotel here in my hometown would be our regular place to stay when we visit. Not after this stay unfortunately.

Wonderful hotel! Beds so comfortable after a 7hr drive to get there. Breakfast every morning so tasty with variety every morning. This is my 3rd time staying at this Hotel. The staff is great, I’m a big time coffee drinker so the 24 hr coffee bar was my highlight. The morning staff always had Fresh breakfast ready every morning on time. And the location was great for us too.

Overall the stay is great! Free parking and free breakfast is a check off the list. But the only down fall is when requesting to clean room, they said there’s certain days when they clean and if there is a housekeeper that’ll make it to your room to the service.

Very nice room and facility in a good location. Breakfast was very good, the only reason I knock down the one star is the bed was not very comfortable and left my wife and I with a back ache. Other than that I would recommend staying and would gladly visit again.

There was a significant stain in our room carpeting —something that should definitely be cleaned. It was gross, and I can't imagine why the hotel would not have already cleaned it! The breakfast is cheap. It was be soooo nice to have a nutritious cereal such as Raisin Bran, a whole oats oatmeal, Greek yoghurt.

I had to stay at a hotel unexpectedly and this was a delightful stay from a rough day. The staff was so kind and attentive to my questions and they were quick to check me in. The room was spotless, clean and cozy. What was so nice was how quiet the room was even though I was by the elevator. I really appreciated how quiet it was because I had a rough day and this place was just what I needed.

This is my second stay and plan on staying here again in a month. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and has all your basic needs, what more could u ask for? The property is clean all around and is in a good area. Restaurants are walking distance and this place has 24 hr coffee! Nice and Hot. My stay here has been nothing but excellent.

Everything was great! What made me upset was that i called the property to let them know i was coming earlier than check in time. I asked if i needed to get an extra night or if they had early check in. They said it wasn't necessary and by 11 they should have something avaliable. I got there a little after 11, very tired only to know that tbe information i received was wrong, they said to come back at 12:30. Well we hang out waiting. I saw alot of people leave. At 12:30 they still had nothing. We walked to a hotel next door where we paid around $160 only to sleep a few hours. When i went back, they didn't know if they had a room for me yet. They said that when you booked thru a 3rd party they only have a couple of rooms avaliable. I felt like i was begging for a place to stay and very upsetting that they treated me that way only cause i booked thru a third party. Also that i had to spend all that money for a few hours.

Stayed a full week, it was a wonderful stay, everyone from front office to housekeeping to maintenance were all very kind and helpful. The kitchen staff were also great they provided a variety of food for breakfast they changed it up everyday which was great. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Everything was mostly attend. The only part that we were concerned about Liz shadowing was slippery, and since I was afraid I’d fall I did not take a shower.

I stayed for four days, and on the second day, I made sure to leave my room early and was out for the entire day. Despite not having a "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed, my room was not cleaned. Additionally, while breakfast was advertised as available until 9:00 AM, it was consistently crowded during my stay, and unfortunately, I was not able to have breakfast on any of the mornings. That said, the location is very convenient, with plenty of nearby dining options.

Great front desk staff, Angelica, friendly and answered all my questions. The room was perfect, wry clean and quiet. The pool was incredible after my long day. And there was a restaurant nearby where I had a great dinner.overall a great hotel where I will stay again when I’m in the area!

Made that experience uncomfortable…the stash on the second day made up for it & were very nice but she was back on the last day as we checked out & again, she was snarky toward us. Not pleasant & we stay there often…may not, the next time we are in town.

Good stay. Clean, and beds were comfortable. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room, considering there are 2 restaurants right next door. But that is minor. Good breakfast.

Staff super nice, especially the breakfast lady (I wish I got her name). She made us quickly another pot of strong coffee when it ran out during breakfast. She was smiley and efficient. Hotel and room very clean, but bed not so comfortable, and the bathroom door was a sliding one with no lock or latch, so it doesn't stay closed. A bathroom should have a door with a latch and a lock. Looks like it was renovated. I gave only 4 stars because I dindn't like the breakfast buffet, basically waffles and scrambled eggs or potatoes. Hampton inn got a little behind this time.

I could not believe that they do not clean rooms at all. The rates are too high for not having this service. I had to ask for clean towels. This is not acceptable. It should be advertised so we as guests know what to expect. Don't feel like returning. The beds are too hard, not very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Staff is unhappy.

Everything was okay. Wish there was a microwave. Bought food thinking microwave was available. Front desk was great fast and efficient. Room and Bathroom was great for a small room. Possibly returning when in the same town.

We had a bit of trouble with the TV remote control surfing through channels. Staff was friendly and customer service oriented. It’s very well appreciated. We feel invited to come back.

it's near the freeway, which is nice. There are also some good food options. Breakfast option was immaculate. Definitely one of the better options we had booked.

We loved staying there, check in was quick and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I will request a higher floor next time, our room was next to the front desk and it was a loud morning the day after. But we will definitely stay here again.

Did not know the deposit was so high, this was not disclosed thru expedia nor the hotel. Never received refund or negotiable stay. This is why one star and stuck paying for a hotel I never even stayed at.

It is definitely a franchise owned property which I find can be less consistent than a corporate property. Common area cleanliness could be better, small details in maintenance of the rooms could be improved. But the overall hotel is the best on the row of choices.

The room was clean. The towels were like sand paper. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was either hot or cold, couldn't get the temperature comfortable. The TV remote did not work well. There wasn't a proper closet or dresser drawers. The so called closet and drawers were a weird set up. The breakfast was terrible, however the coffee was great. The staff was friendly.

We also needed early check-in and the front counter staff worked hard to accommodate our request. When we needed more towels and linens they provided them quickly. In a pinch we needed an extra room and with a quick phone call we had it. Breakfast was really good and hot. Waffles, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage and various cold cereals along with toast, english muffins. Fresh fruit was available.And the 24 hour coffee & tea bar was so nice. We highly recommend this particular Hampton Inn. A big thank you to all the staff there!

WiFi not working

My partner and I stayed there for a week on a business trip. While I went to the office, my partner planned to work remotely from the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel's Wi-Fi didn’t work for our entire stay, which was both horrible and unacceptable. This forced him to rely on his phone's hotspot for internet access. The hotel showed no concern and made no effort to fix the Wi-Fi, which is an essential service for any hotel.

This is the second time that I've stayed at this property. The staff is very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is also included in your stay. Their breakfast is very good compared to other properties. There are several places to eat nearby. El Torrito is 50 feet away and Marie Calendars is also close. I definitely recommend staying here and will come back again.

Booked a standard room with a king size bed/standard bathroom and they gave me a handicap accessible room. Not what I booked.

It was a great stay for a couple newlyweds on a trip.

The things I like about this property is the cleanliness convenience and the breakfast. However, for one, the rooms are really small and when I first booked this room on Expedia, it said that there was a microwave included in the room and when I talked to the employee about it, she said that it is Expedia's fault basically for doing the false advertisement and that I should only book on Hilton and She kept going on and on about saying bad things about Expedia and I always book my rooms on Expedia all the time and I found out to be very unprofessional. I had also called to ask for more towels and for tissue because our tissue box was empty in our restroom and 30 minutes past and I went downstairs and she was standing there talking to other employees. Overall, every other employee is great but some need to be trained for better customer service. I will not be coming be here!
