Very clean, great staff.

We had a very early time to leave and they supplied a bag breakfast, which was very nice!

Air conditioning not good at all. Had set on the lowest setting and was hot a humid in the room the whole time. Very humid in the hallway as well. The shower sounded like it was about to take flight when it was on and the toilet ran literally all night. I’ll just pay the $150 to stay at the Hilton next time.

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was beyond helpful!! And the breakfast was awesome! My husband will only stay at the Hampton Inn as he traveled for work and said it was always consistent.

Nothing, I was very disappointed. The toilet stopped up. When I tried to the call the front desk the phone was dead. They called my cell phone. I told them the toilet was stopped up and would like another room. They said they would bring me a plunger to use and if that didn’t work they would switch rooms but I first had to use the plunger. There was no maintenance person on site. It was only when he realized the phone was dead that we were given another room. Both rooms smelled of heavily perfumed deodorizer. The toilet in the second room was not secure to the floor and rocked when you sat on it. I do not recommend this hotel.

Good location and easy access to food. We came for a ball tournament that was in town that weekend and usually after a day of ball the boys like to cool off but I wasn’t advertised at time of booking that pool at this location doesn’t open till Memorial Day.

Location was a bit iffy but there’s a Starbucks and a few restaurants in very very close proximity meaning walking distance. I.e Dennys, Waffle House , a buffet, a Starbucks and McDonalds. Over all it was very clean it smelled great our room was nice and clean and cozy! We had a microwave and a fridge. The ice machine wasn’t too far from our room either. The water pressure from the shower head is my only complaint I got better water pressure from the tub faucet rather than the shower head.

I specifically booked the hotel because of the airport shuttle, however I was unaware it ran from 8am to 8pm. My flights did not align with that time frame. So I never used the shuttle.

Not enough towels. 3 for 4 people. Asked for extras got 1 for 2 days. No milk for cereal either day we stayed

I stayed just overnight with my daughter. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The area felt safe. Lots of nice dinner options very close. It was less than 10 minutes to the zoo and to downtown. I would stay here again. The breakfast was nice.

The hotel was well staffed with friendly people. Cookies & coffee at check-in is a nice touch. Keep up the good work. See you next year! We prefer a step in shower over a bathtub.

Only a couple of minor issues: the bathtub drain would not stay open, making it difficult to use properly. Also, housekeeping knocked and opened our door at 7:23 a.m. without waiting for a response, even though we were still in the room. Other than that, everything was great. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

location was perfect since I was there to have a medical procedure done at Lexington County Hospital! Only 6minutes away There was a strong musty smell when first opened the room and near the elevators. Perhaps carpents had been shampooed but not dried well.

Although the front desk person was most apologetic and professional, the delay was not only inconvenient, it cost me about three hours of precious time that I needed to plan for an upcoming meeting early on the morning of February 21. Nothing was done about it. 2.) the toilet flushed very slow 3.) shuttle transportation was mentioned it was offered when I called 1st time, then when I called for a pickup, was told it was not offered on the weekends. 4.) there was a business with about 10 people taking up the entire lobby being very loud. No one could relax and have coffee, watch the TV or even talk amongst each other they were so loud and front desk didn’t do anything to fix it. Me and another customer went and sat in a hallway just so we could focus on our laptops. If that’s going to be allowed, you should create a conference room.

Asked for handicap friendly room for my 90 yr old Mom, mainly for a walk-in shower. Only one available was a roll-in shower for wheelchair, which left water over half the bathroom floor. I was afraid Mom would slip on the floor, so I asked to change to another room. The nice man on the desk was very accommodating and gave us a room right across the hall which made moving simple. The hotel was very good and when we arrived went in to check to make sure they had our reservations and because we were early to find out about how to get to Fort Jackson the staff told us that we could check in even though we were early

Lower standard for a typical Hampton Inn, with cramped spaces, low ceilings, and tight rooms.

Only a quick stop overnight but the staff were friendly and welcoming the room was comfortable and the shower hot. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the hotel has good links to the surroundig area.

My flight was cancelled late at night and I need a quick reservation for the night. The associate at check in was kind and quick. Room was clean and the bed was comfy!

I picked this hotel for a family reunion and I knew I would be eating a lot so I wanted to make sure to work out but I only had 1 day to work out because they closed the gym the remaining 3 days of my stay. I was very upset because no workers were there so I wanted to use the treadmill and they said I couldn't. I had to go outside in the heat to walk instead of the gym which made me very unhappy.

The room layout was awkward. The closet or nook was on the back of the room with the window. It did not have a closet door, It was a curtain. The room was really tight with 3 people.

The rooms are not spacious enough for movement if your party is larger than 2. I had 3 with me and we were bumping into each other. Other than that the price is reasonable and it’s about 17 minutes from the Columbia Mall that has Dave’s & Buster, etc.

The property was the perfect distance between the airport and USC. The shuttle was not running to or from the airport but Hampton called us taxis both times for us and covered it. Taxis arrived on time. Staff was friendly. Breakfast has lots of options for a small hot continental breakfast. The room was great for what we needed it for.

The 1st of the 2 major issues was the fact that, due to construction, patrons were unable to walk inside the hotel to go between their rooms and the front of the hotel (i.e., ride share drop-offs, the lobby, the breakfast area, etc.). I literally had to leave the lobby through the front door then go around to the back of the building just to access the elevator. (My room was on the 4th floor!) For those prices, I wanted an 'indoor' hotel experience. The 2nd of the 2 major issues was the fact that 1 of the elevators went out half-way through my stay. (*sigh*) Other issues were that 1/2 of the cable channels were inaccessible and housekeeping didn't service the room the entire time I was there. With all of those inconveniences, it would have been appropriate for the management to apologize and issue some sort of discount --- which didn't happen.

Negative... 1) room with double beds. Didn't leave much room to walk around 2) Floors were dirty and needed to be mopped. 3) Our room wasn't cleaned the day we did not put out the Do Not Disturb sign. We were out most of the day so there was time for housekeeping to clean it. I ended up going to the laundry room and getting more towels.

It is looking a little worn around the edges. The room was much smaller than any other Hampton Inn I’ve stayed. The iron didn’t work at all. The front staff when I checked in was friendly. The location was fine.

Comfortable bed, but room was very small. Housekeeping were allowing doors to slam closed as they were cleaning the rooms. This caused our door to rattle everytime, so not able to sleep in. Clean property and convenient location!

Hotel advertised a free airport shuttle. Despite arranging in advance, it was not there when we arrived and we had to wait an extra half hour to get to the hotel. Upon our return trip, we were informed there was no driver for the shuttle. They said they would arrange for a taxi at 6 a.m. I confirmed with them the day before. Morning of, no taxi. We had to get a ride from a kind fellow guest.

This was the worst Hampton Inn that we have ever stayed in we had to change rooms 3 times because the first room didn't meet our requirements and the second room had doy hair on the carpet and over my socks so they put us in another room that had poop on the toilet and the shower head broke off while I was taking a shower when we told the front desk man he just said sorry

Thermostat did not work…. Called at. 9;40 pm and only solution was to change rooms. Room was noisey

No carts to carry your luggage to the rooms.

Breakfast was less than standard for what we are used to in a Hampton Inn. We feel that the whole experience didn’t measure up to what we are used to from a Hampton Inn.

There seemed to be some individuals outside around the area that shouldn’t have been there late in the evening.

On arriving to the lobby I learned that as soon as a new key was made for my new room I would be locked out of my previous room. After some protest I proceeded upstairs and packed my belongings to proceed to the lobby for my new room's key. On settling into the new room I found that the thermostat on the wall could not be turned on to control the room temperature. I called the front desk and was told to turn on the heat at the wall unit. All in all I must say this is not what I expected from a Hilton associated property. Also, one elevator is inoperative and the other takes one up before going down.

When I arrived, only one elevator was working when I got to my room the air conditioner was not working the next morning. They changed my room and I waited for the elevator. The one that was working now both of them are not working so I had to go down the stairs they changed my room to the third floor so I had to carry all my stuff up to the third floor and then the TV wasn’t working

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! Location was close to the Columbia Zoo (which is why we were there).

I didn’t like that the walls are thin and the room is small you can actually hear the people next to you snoring

Enjoyed my stay

I did not enjoy the smell. My room had a very distinct and unpleasant odor. Other than that there really wasn’t anything “bad”… everything was kind of bland/mediocre including the staff and breakfast the next morning.

Provided the quality and service of a Hampton Inn that you come to expect. The breakfast was good and the area kept clean and stocked. This hotel is very convenient to access downtown or the riverwalk and restaurants are nearby. The only downside was the bathroom was smaller, a bit cramped and lacked a fan. Also, be aware that we experienced a lot of ambulance siren noises because it is located next to a hospital.

The staff is all super friendly and helpful. A . The hotel is showing its age a bit, but we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was yummy!

Very impressed by the consistent warm, friendly customer service of all staff (at least 8 people in various positions). A real pleasure to be welcomed and supported throughout my stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this Hampton Inn. This was perfect for our stay while we had appointments at LMC.

Everything was fantastic- the staff and service was wonderful! My only note: let prospective customers know before they reserve a room that the shuttle to-and-from CAE only runs from 8am to 10pm. Thank you!

The only reason i gave a three star is there was a dog barking and there a rooster that started at 3:30 in the morning and never quit! Didn’t get any sleep

Airport shuttle offered but not on Thanksgiving day. Not shocking but I emailed in advance without response. Many phone calls later, a taxi (paid by hotel) arrived. Nice selection of snacks and drinks available for purchase in lobby (including beer and wine).
