Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa-Wesley Chapel

I appreciated the fact that it was close to the ice rink. Since my boyfriend plays hockey with the Warriors. Whenever there is a hockey tournament at that particular rink, we will return for another event. And it’s pet friendly as well.

Stayed 1 night . Front staff very nice and accommodating, as was all the staff. The hotel itself was an older one. Little did we know there were lots of people there for a kids hockey tournament or something. Parents letting there kids run rampant, playing in elevators and running up and down hallways. So there were 2 elevators and one broke down. Overall it was okay for a night.

The breakfast and coffee bar were excellent. The staff did an excellent job of replenishing everything. Our room was nice and clean. It had everything we needed, like iron and ironing board, refrigerator and microwave, several mirrors so we could all get ready. The rolling cube chairs were a nice touch. When we checked in we were offered bottles of water. It was all around such a pleasant experience! I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like. The two elevators were rarely crowded. Everything just went right during our stay.

Location and breakfast fine. I asked for no maid service during my visit but the day after my first night I received maid service. I went to front desk and again asked for no maid service, the front desk assuring me there would be none, but the next day I received maid service again. Not a good experience to have a request ignored not just once but twice.

Hotel was fine overall. Check in was smooth. Front desk was neither friendly nor rude. Room was fine. There were no vents in bathroom for circulation (just an observation). Breakfast was OK. Considering this hotel was priced higher for the area overall would have appreciated a friendly front desk and breakfast area atmosphere, somewhat more attentiveness to guests. Very convenient for travelers in town for games at Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex.

It was easy to get around, clean, and just felt safe The elevator closer to the rear entrance needs to be worked on. The stopping is really bad and the drop that is does reminds me of a scary ride, almost like the cables broke it’s so fast and sudden.

The location offered easy on and off ramps to I 75 and access to plenty of good restaurants on SR 56. Very convenient to both Saint Leo and Zephyrhills as well as Tampa. NA- everything was great.

Enjoyed it very much. Good food, plenty of seating area so not sitting on top of each other. Staff was personable, helpful & friendly. I left some papers which I knew were of no more value: your excellent cleaners found them. Much to my surprise , your staff put it together and called me to check and be sure. That was a very pleasant and quite unexpected surprise. I had friends with me who were very impressed by your actions. All In all, You are to be commended and thanked.

We were very pleased with our stay and thought the hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was perfect.Stayed here the night before our cruise. The location is only 25-30 minutes from the port, which was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

The lobby and breakfast areas were clean. There were plenty of support staff keeping the property up and running. The swimming pool was heated and felt great after a long day. Also, the shower door handle in my room broke and they moved me to an upgraded room. I really appreciated that.

It was what I expect from a Hampton Inn. Comfortable room, breakfast. The one thing I didn’t like was the pumps on the shower wall for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I prefer the little bottles.

It was very vanilla was disappointed in the post hurricane prices in the little snack and beverage area, 10.00 for a Raman microwave noodle. Disgusted at that. Beyond that an unremarkable stay.

The area is close to the Tampa premium outlets some wonderful restaurants. The arena across the road is an amazing facility if you are a skater or have one in the family the morning breakfast is great and the staff was really great to deal with keep in mind there doing a few renovations but it’s still worth the stay

Premium outlets were less a mile away, close to the dinning and interstate highways. The only disappointment was that on the last day of our stay, at breakfast time, not everything was ready on time, no coffee, no milk for cereal, no butter etc.

The room was laid out in a way that made the most of the space. It was very clean and was very clean. The breakfast was good and had a great variety. It had waffles, eggs, potatoes and a meat plus cereal, juice bagels and Oatmeal.

Everyone there was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Collin always had a big smile and asked if there was anything he could do to make us more comfortable. We talked with Teresa several times, she was also very friendly and helpful as well. We noticed how busy she was wiping everything down even the doors!!! Thank you for a wonderful week stay!

Really good hotel for family time. The only thing I'd change is the breakfast dining area; it's small, so unless you go down early, you need to wait for other people to finish eating before you can sit.

Never made it to the prioerty dur to extreme westher and plane malfuctuon. The flight thayvwas coming in from Tampa was having technical issues and grounded in Charelston SC and they were not able tobget another plane oit to airport until 5 AM next day so I did not need thebhotel.

There is no restaurant or bar there, but we went to the Ice hockey facility, which is in walking distance. Great location with many shops, restaurants and bars within a 10 minute drive. Easy access to the major highways and a safe location.

There was dirt all over our bathroom door and shower floor as well as used washcloths hung on top of the shower rod from previous guests. Additionally we had to complain twice in order to receive clean towels. The room service came to clean while we were in the room and we politely said we would leave for a little so we were not in the way, we left for 5 hours and came back to relax only to find out our room had yet to be cleaned after all and we ended up having to leave for another 30 minutes only to find the trash left behind and full and nothing had been done except one of the beds being made. We were not the only guests to complain of dirty towels. We were not provided with any soap except the half full shower soap.

Check in time was at 3:00 but the staff didn’t have a room ready till 4:20. Which made us late for a very important event.

Young lady at desk checked us in. Very friendly extremely helpful. Unfortunately check in was delayed til 5:30 because the room was not ready. Several others did not have rooms available and were waiting in lobby area. Fold out couch bed had dirty sheets with hair all in them. Had to exchange immediately. Room carpet was dirty and room smelled very musty. AC worked great. Kids in pool late one night being extremely loud right outside our window for almost an hour from about 8:45-9:45pm. It was 40 degrees out that night. Furniture in room and lobby was very worn, dirty and past its life of use. Often no hot water at the coffee/tea station available to guests. At breakfast garbage was often piled up, tables messy, egg omelets were not even warm. Bathroom walls had smears of hand prints. Overall a very disappointing Hampton Inn. Staff was friendly, helpful but it seemed they are tremendously understaffed. Lots of hotels in Wesley Chapel we have stayed at 4 or 5 others and had much better accommodations in past. This Hampton inn is in desperate need of some updating, remodel and newer clean furniture and paint.

I always book this hotel when my daughter and her family visits Wesley Chapel. There is never a problem and she says that the hotel is wonderful. This is not the case with every hotel in Wesley Chapel.

Room was clean, good breakfast, safe area, quiet as well. One area for improvement was that our room had a musty smell when we arrived.

I canceled this date with Travelocity but the Hampton did not get the word and charged me for the stay even though I only stayed the following night 11/15/2024. Will contact Travelocity to straighten out the error.

We had to call the front desk to clean the room, someone left her fake eyes stuck on the couch. The tables were dirty, the shower is rusted and old. The hallway ceilings were in need of TLC.

I liked the area, it had nice wooded area for pets and the vibe of the lobby was comfortable. I was there for hurricane evacuation so it was a bit scary worrying about my property. The staff was amazing as Hurricane Helene took a day longer to get through the area. I had to extend my stay one day and they were accommodating to find another room and assist bringing me a baggage cart. The housekeeping staff also top notch!

This hotel is perfect if you are planning on visiting Epperson Lagoon , is only 12 minutes drive to the water park .

Hotel was ok. Breakfast wasn’t that great. Potatoes cold and things empty. Enjoyed the flavor creamer for coffee and front desk staff very nice and helpful.

Stay was a breeze

The pool appeared to be clean but when I got out of the water, there was a film of dirt on my bathing suit. Other guests notices the same film of dirt on their swimsuits as well. The staff didn't seem to be equipped to handle complaints, they were very dismissive.

Updated property. Nice decor in rooms. Appeared clean. Plumbing fixtures, tile, etc are dated but a good overall stay for a couple of nights. Very friendly staff.
