service was good, it was exactly what i needed, a bed, and a shower. for the price, i cant complain. it could have been a little cleaner in the room, but once again, for the price, i'm not that upset. parking was ample, air conditioning was ok.

We walked into the room and immediately saw that there was no way we were sleeping there. There was visible pee on the floor beside the toilet, the floors look like they hadn't been swept in a long time, there was debris everywhere, there were dirty spots on the sheets, juice ring stains on the coffee table. Overall the room was dirty and disgusting. The rooms outside appearance was deceiving. We talked to the owner John about getting a refund because we were not staying there, he was understanding and directed me to call Expedia to ask for a refund so I did and they then called John and confirmed that he was willing to refund us. It all worked out in the end however we had to scramble to find another hotel that had availability that evening yet so the whole thing was inconvenient. We felt that the inn was falsely advertised; the pool was broken when it said on the website it was working, the rooms looked in better shape on the photos then in person. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend this place. At least the owner john was willing to give a refund back, he was chatty and friendly enough, the front office smelled like weed when we walked in and everything just seemed a little sketchy. 0/10 stars.

The check in process was easy. The front desk staff helped get us a room downstairs, very proactive in providing great customer service! Nothing I didn’t like! All was great.

Our room was dark, beds were hard, floor was sticky, and towels were disgustingly stained and thin. Breakfast advertised as being available at 8am but was not. Price and location (short walk to the Convention Center) are very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. However we will not stay here again.

Owner was super friendly and helpful in getting us and our pup settled for the night. We were set up in a very comfy, newly remodeled room. The mattress was so comfortable that it fixed the back problems I had been dealing with for a week! Great location right downtown. Will definitely stay again if we are back that way.

Only stayed one night out of 5 due to cleanliness issues and smell. Also multiple other guest would congregate in the breeze ways right out side the door and window of our room to smoke (not 25') and no in a designated smoking area. The listed included breakfast was only coffee and some donuts. and the front desk is only open at odd times. Do not recommend--there are better places to stay for the same price. Also don't prepay your stay. You'll never get your money back if you end up leaving early.

The price and location are excellent. Right by the Convention Center, the River Trail and many shops and restaurants. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Price cannot be beaten. However, could use a deep cleaning, There were stains on the towels, the floors were a little sticky and the insides of drawers needed cleaning. Peppermint deodorizer was powerful.

We then noticed that the towels were used/stained. The floor in the bathroom was filthy and ants were seen. Dust coated the back top of the headboard. Our feet were sticking to the floor in the main room. After walking around in white socks, the bottoms were brown. Pulling back the covers on the bed revealed sheets that didn't look too clean. Luckily, we had extra blankets in our car, and we slept on and under those. We also noticed an outlet hanging out of the wall. We were both grossed out by the room and couldn't wait to get home and take showers and wash all our clothes and blankets.

Staff was friendly. The room was okay. Not the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever seen but for the price it wasn’t bad. Sheets were clean and soft. Parking was easy and location was ideal for downtown.

Got upgraded to a king bed, so I thought it would be really nice. But the floor was sticky and so dirty that our feet were completely coated. The towels were clearly not clean. Comforter on the bed had a big stain on it. Toilet was tiny. That said, the AC worked great, TV and lights all function, mini fridge worked, etc. About what you might expect from this dollar amount for a hotel. Parking is free and easy to access. Wrong season to use the pool so I can't review that. Overall 2 out of 5, but that's what we paid for.

I only stayed one night so i just wanted a place to sleep so went for low price. Its not in the better part of town and from the outside, it looked like an old hotel. The man at the counter was super nice and we chatted for while. The room was recently renovated and was quite nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the area was quieter than i expected. I didn't even check to see if they had any breakfast. i got up early and left.

It was great. I went there for a business trip. Great parking room was nice and big. Coffee was fabulous. Nice and quiet. Slept great.

You can definitely tell why it is one of the least expensive places to stay, as the linens were definitely old and worn with stains, the shower had blue hair stuck on the wall by the shower head, the majority of the outlets did not workand the heater was very loud

Staff was excellent, but the rooms were in poor condition due to age and lots of wear and tear and needed a good deep cleaning. We would stay here again for proximity to everything in downtown, and because the staff is so kind. Hopefully the repairs and upgrades to this establishment go well and it revitalizes clientele in the future.

Cleanliness of the room was poor. Bed sheets were stained and comforter had cigarette burns in it. Breakfast didn’t happen because at 15 mins past the start time the office was still locked and no one was answering the after hours phone.

Worthless place ever

The Downtown Inn was just what I wanted. Great location, really friendly and helpful people, and a little bit cheaper than the big guys. I would probably stay there again.

I’ve never written a negative hotel review before. I tried to describe what’s wrong with my previously submitted review but they keep rejecting it. Do not stay here.

The room was quiet and had been upgraded fairly recently. There was a coffee pot and ingredients for one pot of coffee. Breakfast was a grab and go. There were no containers to put it into. There were not any grab bars in the shower or near the toilet. Also no towel racks other than the one you took the fresh towel from. The coffee pot had to be moved to a location with a pug-in.

This is a really nice hotel right downtown. It is an older Best Western type motel that has been dropped from the chain and updated by a non-chain proprietor. So the rooms are a bit smaller than today's WB standards, but as stated remodeled. The staff is suburb? And the price is certainly perfect, competing with Motel 6 in price, but a much better room.

We checked in at 9pm the was still dirty from the guests before, and it took them over 2 hours to clean it up. To top it offer the “owner” promised a full refund for my 2 nights stay but never showed. I even talked to expedia customer support that he was going to issue a refund, it never came look. Spend the money and better hotel its worth it

The owner generously shares his display unit so I could have a downstairs room, which was much appreciated.

The inn was right downtown and only a block away from a variety of restaurants. The new owner is renovating and I think it will be very nice when finished but right now there are are some things that still need fixed.

Overall, the beds seemed fairly new and were comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the neighborhood felt safe. This hotel can be worth the money if you are just looking for a place to sleep on your way through town. It is not a destination. Limited breakfast, no common space, not kid-friendly.

Staff was friendly. Crab and grill breakfast was not what I expected. Great place if you just wanna lay down for the night and head out in the morning.

We stayed less than an hour. My child refused to even go in the bathroom, had to go to the store next door. Toilet seat had multiple burn spots, floor and walls were dirty. Both comforters had multiple stains, sheets were stained, beds had dirt and sand in them. You could smell cigarette smoke from the past in the room and to office smelled like it was still smoked in regularly. Chair and wall in the room had what looked like ink stains all over them. There was random mess on the floor. After less than an hour we decided it wasn’t worth the rest and pushed the remaining 150 miles home after 200+ miles in 100 degrees. Do not recommend, will not return. Only positive is owner did not dispute the refund(because he knows the place is substandard)

This hotel/motel is a good value and the interior definitely exceeds the expectations that the exterior makes one expect. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should. The shower is spacious and has plenty of hot water. I was very pleased with my one night stay and do expect to return in the future.

Awesome staff at front desk. Great price for the room. Only thing is someones clothes were in the drawers, kinda weird but it wasnt a deal breaker.

They gave us expired food in breakfast and we did not check it first once we ate some bread and muffin my wife find out food package they gave us was expired and then we tell him food is expired and he said sorry I did not check it that was very unprofessional how he did not check he is giving expired food.

It was nice to have 3 beds for us, daughter, and granddaughters. Staff was great, came quickly to change stained sheets. No one in office at 8:00am for complimentary breakfast to go. Pool was refreshing. Had a great dinner at a nearby Pub. Surrounding area had great restaurant and shopping options

Everything was clean except they didnt clean the bathroom floor it had long black hair all over. The owner was very nice. We had a big room with three queen size beds, it had alot of space. There is no carpet in the room so the floor was very slippery my husband fell getting out of bed and we are handicapped. I suggest a mat by the bed. Their website needs to be updated there was no cereal like the pictures showed, also no milk for the packages of oatmeal. All in all it was a nice place to stay very quiet.

Staff was nice and friendly, but the property is quite run down. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in so we had to wait, even though it was several hours after check-in time. The rooms were old, not very clean, and smelled like cigarettes. The towels were so old they tore when you tried to use them, and the shower curtains kept falling down.

I ask for refund prior to a cancellation of two rooms with total of $192.00 I never get respond, then I ask to change de date to stay and I haven’t get respond yet.

Moldy coffee maker, lipstick 💋 marks on the walls, and late staff so no grab & go breakfast. For a non smoking room it was weird having cigarette burns around the room and the door kept getting stuck so it was really hard to open, especially for an 80 year old woman. Beds were nice and room great size. Pleasant staff and nice clean pool.

I loved the front desk he was so helpful and accommodating to our needs the housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful very resourceful. The other people staying there were so nice too. My kids loved the swimming pool it was perfect!!

Bed sheets were not washed & cleaned. Stinks and dog paw prints were still on the sheet. (It is impossible not see these dirts) when we figured out the sheets were not changed m, it was too late and there was noone to ask for help.

The bed was comfy. The ac plenty. Water pressure good. But it was noisy outside and the door seal let some of it in. It did become quiet after 10pm. Didn't have any issues

Unfortunately, after checking out, we realized that our kids had left behind their two Kindle Fire tablets in the room. By the time we discovered it, we were already too far away to return. We immediately contacted the property owner, who was incredibly understanding and went out of his way to help. Not only did he promptly agree to send the tablets back via priority mail, but when the package was returned the first time due to an address issue, he made the effort to re-send it again — without any hesitation. This level of kindness and customer care is rare. Thanks to his help, our kids were thrilled to be reunited with their tablets. We’re deeply grateful for his thoughtfulness and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay with genuine hospitality and integrity.

Reception kindly accommodated my late arrival. Room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The recent interior room refurbishments give a clean, modern feel. Definitely good value for the price. The ‘grab and go’ breakfast was limited and the advertised discount access for a nearby gym is no longer available. Two minor negatives but I would definitely stay again.

Property manager great and friendly. There is pride taken in this old inn. Bed and pillows are comfortable, relatively clean. Bathroom faucet knob fell off wasnt really attached. Towels were horrible, probably years old and never good to start with. Some heavily fated worn down phone, microwave etc. Overall for the price id say it mostly matches what you get and offers an ok value. Would reco if just need a quick nights rest.

Room cold heater set at max 75 need to run for a long time to warm the room up. Better if they could turn on the heat few hours before guest arrival. Need to fix curtains don’t close properly letting in street light. Windows not double glazed you get to contend with all street noises

Spacious room for 3 beds. It’s just need more cleanliness because when we tried to move the small chair we saw a use bandage and some hair in the bathroom. But overall we enjoy our stay, kids love the space of the bed.

There was microwave and fridge in room bed was comfortable. Walk in shower was fine. Only negative is lack of places to plug in devices and those towels are small and thin. I ended up unplugging lights for devices. Breakfast is coffee juice apple and some packaged muffins.

It was ok. I didn’t get to sleep much due to uncontrollable bed and pillows, was hurting my back. Then noise that was coming from another rooms fan was non stop and annoying.

Check in was a snap with friendly greeter and welcoming lobby vibe. The room: Renovated to mostly modern, shower pressure was good, clean, and the bed was comfortable for both of us. Walk downtown shops and eateries. We'll stay here again.

Nice quiet overall

After a long and tiring day, I stepped into the bathroom to take a shower. I reached out for the towel, started drying my face, and felt strands of hair brushing against my skin. Disgusted, I moved the towel away and saw several long, dark hairs on the supposedly clean and untouched towel. There were also many strands of hair and body hair scattered on the bathroom floor.

The stay was decent given the price. The room was decent and reasonable. However, people in the neighboring rooms were fighting till midnight. I had to speak through the wall and ask them to stay quiet. They started fighting again the first thing in the morning!

The room was large and looked like it had been recently renovated. The bed was fairly comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The location was central to everything we needed, which was very convenient. Everyone we dealt with were awesome - super friendly and very helpful. *Fyi, there is a shuttle from Wenatchee right to The Gorge. Highly recommended!

We were attracted by the price. Hotel is older than it looks in the pictures. Breakfast was prewrapped pastry and a piece of fruit so don't expect a full breakfast.
