- Rooms were dirty and outdated
- Breakfast was minimal or not as advertised
- 1/5
The room was dirty and it smelled awful. Thank god we only had to stay one night
- 5/5
Great for the price! Nice parking lot- clean rooms and helpful staff. Some unfinished parts and like stains in the sink and noisy toilet but a GREAT value! Was quiet and AC worked fine too!
- 3/5
Our room was clean and everything worked as it should. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. Very convenient location! And the place is being renovated, so i'm sure things will only get better.
- 5/5
Muy bueno en todo
- 4/5
It was a decent place to sleep for a night
- 5/5
It was nice. The guy Ro that worked there was really helpful and cool. He let me grill out in the back parking lot and even gave me the rest of his charcoal.
- 2/5
way overpriced. No amenities. Recent renovation was exterior. the room had a funky smell.
- 2.5/5
Noisy, people yelling in the halls probably until midnight. Door operation very noisy
- 3/5
The staff was kind to move us from second floor to first when I told them that I had trouble with steps - there’s no elevator. There was also no breakfast and we received only one tiny sliver of soap for a two day stay. No clean towels on the second day.
- 4.5/5
check-in was easy location great near everything
- 1/5
Nice attendants but awful room. Room was in progress of renovation with a piece of broken furniture on the left, no working lamps until we requested them, and electrical not functioning on one side. Sticky substance on bedside table and on floor. Bed was decent, noise level okay. Did not complete stay.
- 3/5
Kinda ghetto, loud slamming doors, major road noise from the main road all hours of the nights. Food near by is decent, extremely strong smell of cologne or what ever it is they use to mask smells or clean. Hot water was a little interesting. Took forever to heat up then got cold. Faucet in bathroom water was brown. Not sure what that was about but Hey for 50$ a night what do you expect.
- 2/5
Need another handicap parking area, and stairs are tough considering my husband is handicapped and he had to do the stairs in A LOT of pain
- 3/5
Yes. Yes
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The room was an upgrade I would say because I told them that I came from a surgery and I needed a mini fridge the place was spotless immaculate condition the staff was very friendly I’ve been coming here for a while since the new ownership took over in the beginning of the remodeling stages I saw it right from the beginning and there commitment to make this place to be a great motel is on point I absolutely love it here. I only wish that they would give people the opportunity to live here more than 21 days but I understand because of NYS laws/ regulations and it is affordable to those that roughly make over 500 a week if you were to stay 21days or two weeks at a time. Over all experience. Is a 10/10 on my scale and I really want to thank everyone at the roadway inn for a pleasant and positive stay here.

- 5/5
Fantastic staff, wonderful place to stay
- 5/5

- 5/5
It was nice and clean and the tv didn’t go out every 7 min and the staff is always nice and friendly
- 4.5/5
Says free breakfast but nothing offered and the only coffee available was flavored not everyone likes flavored.
- 4.5/5
There was no breakfast that I seen A thicker blanket or extra blankets would’ve been nice the one offered is very thin has to turn the heat up.
- 5/5
They did a good job fixing it up!
- 0.5/5
The staff was nice. They had bed bugs. The room was dirty. And it smells like old dust.
- 2/5
paint splatter in bathtub, frost block in refrigerator, having to pay in laundry area and go through renovation on first floor wardrobe had nothing in it to hang clothes.
- 1/5
d!!!
- 1/5
Don't stay there!!!! The whole place was under renovation (super ficial reno!!!). Dirty, noisy.
- 3/5
It was fine. Bed was comfy. I got exactly what I paid for.
- 1/5
No big towels. Little toilet paper. The ice machine did not work. The snack machine did not work. If i knew they were renovating , would have not booked
- 4/5
The facility is under reconditioning so they are dealing with running the business during the process. There was no microwave or refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and effective. The room was clean and comfortable. It is clear the much needed renovation will produce a better place to stay.
- 1/5
Under construction. Noisy. No vending . Month.
- 1/5
The place was under construction. And there were no like vending machines no ice. It was a racket. There was garbage everywhere.
- 0.5/5
Nothing It needs to be remodeled it smelt bad. The carpet was dirty. The roof smelled like cigarettes in the air conditioner. Made the room smell like Old the tub was dirty
- 5/5
I loved how friendly the staff was and the staff let us check in 30 min before check-in and showed us the room before we put the deposit in.
- 2/5
En renovation
- 2/5
The hotel recently sold and is undergoing renovations to a Rodeway inn. It needed a renovation for sure, but its all torn up and debris everywhere,
- 0.5/5
We were not aware until check in that Wyndham had sold the hotel and it was being renovated. Construction people, trash, etc
- 1/5
This hotel no longer existed and we had 15 people with no place to stay. They said they had sold it in June and it was June 28 I had just contacted them on May 26 to confirm.
- 1/5
When i went to check in on June 21st the front desk clerk informed me that this facility has closed. No email, no phone call, no text was sent to inform me of this prudent information . So I'm standing there with my grand daughter dumb founded. I had to scramble to get another room for 6 nights and i cannot get ahold of anyone to verify if i was charged and if so when and how can i get a refund. This was at the Webster NY hotel on Empire Blvd.
- 1/5
When I arrived at 8:30 pm, I was told that my prepaid reservation would not be honored. I could not stay there. The hotel had been sold to a chain and was to be remodeled. I was never notified of their cancellation, and no hotel rooms were available within 50 miles of Rochester. After several hours of calls I found a room 60 miles east. A fiasco!
- 1/5
Very bad
- 1/5
Shut down whole business. No notice. No alternative. Lousy surprise.
- 1/5
Requesting full refund from Hotels.com!
- 0.5/5
No breakfast. Mold everywhere in my room. Toilet seat broken. Bathtub very very slow to drain. Poison oak around back of building. Everything
- 2.5/5
The location was ok if you were traveling east from the hotel, but was difficult to head west without going east first. Breakfast consisted of a small store bought muffin! Location , breakfast
- 3/5
Outside property unkepted. Weeds and garbage. Desk attendant no uniform and lacked bedside manner. Rooms rug was, sorry to say, “gross”. Bathroom 🚽 toilet didn’t work and many fixtures had “rust” all over.
- 1/5
This place wasn't just unclean, it was near building code violation messed up.
- 1/5
The room was not well kept. Stool was nasty looking, water faucet handle was unstable. One light did't work, carpet and flooting in bathroom looks bad. Would not stay tbere again. Only good thing was it was chesp!
- 3.5/5
Location, Unit needs a good makeover, wallpaper peeling, bathroom flooring lifting, toilet need better attention to cleaning, machines all out of order, soda, ice, vending
- 1/5
I don’t plan on trying to stay here again in the future. First, when I walked in there was empty coffee cups on the floor and dirt everywhere. Another patron was in front of me and the clerk was trying to figure out a room for him but was having trouble and the lobby was starting to fill up with other people. She didn’t communicate the problem and it just took forever. When I went to check in, the clerk told me that there were no rooms available. When I mentioned that I had a reservation she said that they were overbooked and didn’t seem to care. She did seem very overwhelmed though. Behind me another patron said that we could have their room because they were leaving because they found bed bugs! We left immediately with no intention of going back.
- 1/5
Nice guys at the front desk. The bulding is s dump. The AC unit looks like it came from WWII, the front right corner wallpaper is coming down and decor and furniture is shabby at best. If this was priced at around $59 that would be fair ... no rooms in the area when I was here so it was my last choice.. and that's what it should be for you
- 2/5
Needs to be fixed up - bathroom wall had a hole, wallpaper ripped up, pretty surprising.
- 4/5
It would be nice to have more things for breakfast don't know I was happy with my stay
- 1/5
Very dairy smell really bad. The room was not clean at all at all at all.
- 1/5
The toilet clogged over nothing. When I went to the front desk and asked for a plunger, they didn't know where it was, told me another guest had asked for it and they couldn't find it, them sent me on my way. We were one of at least 2 guests that couldn't use the toilet for the rest of our stay and we checked out early.
- 0.5/5
Ceiling falling down in shower. No chair, unpainted patches, bad hallway smell, loud talking in lobby all the time. Too many friends of clerks hanging out.
- 1/5
Then I try to go to bed and people are screaming at each other out in the hall and allowing their children run up and down the halls. Not to mention, once they realized I had a dog, they would tease her through the door. After having to listen to this until 2 in the morning, I finally called the front desk and told the guy if he didn’t take care of this situation, I would call the police. To top it off, I check out the following morning (I was booked for 2add’l days). The girl offers me a refund, however the manager won’t be in until 9. She states she will discuss with the manager and call me. At 11 am, I call the hotel and ask to speak to her. The guy says she has stepped out. I ask to speak with the manager, and guess who the manager is? She is! I say I will call back. I do so, and she is still out of the office. However, the guy states, they discussed my situation and I need to call Expedia for the refund. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
- 2.5/5
It was quiet and comfortable The breakfast was just a wee muffin
- 1/5
No elevators no cards to get you clothes and belongings inside they say free breakfast so not true they put out tiny bite-size muffins and I mean tiny they didn't have any sugar for creamer for coffee when I got in the room wallpaper was falling off I found two stink bugs under the beds were absolutely nothing but disgusting the text to the bathroom the nails were sticking out of it and I cut my foot hard to get the power on for the TV and the lights and the access cards to the doors were malfunctioning you had to slide it in and out eight or nine times
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable but many cosmetic things need fixing. Stains on towels, a hole in the bathroom behind the door. Breakfast just a muffin and coffee. Location was good for a brief stay.
- 1/5
The hotel was dirty and smelled horrible! It was completely sketchy.
- 1/5
Room was disgusting, no smoking signs everywhere entire building smelled like marijuana in the hallways, mold and mildew in bathroom, microwave rusted out, sheets look liked they weren’t changed, tv didn’t work, dresser drawers had tape to hold them open,
- 1/5
The light at the bathroom was not working, one mattress was too damaged, they never clean the room and there wasn't any breakfast. The bathroom has a noise from the tubes that scared us at midnight, and it is not smoking but the smell of weed was awful.
- 1/5
The two desk clerks that were there at 3:00PM and 5:30 were very nice.
- 1/5
The outside of the building , the perimeter of the parking lot had tons of trash!! Stuff from the hotel!!! This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. We left but of course they got their money!!!
- 1/5
I have been trying to reach someone at Expedia for a refund - the place smelled like vape and was nasty dirty
- 1/5
Absolutely most disgusting situation I have ever seen. They should not be allowed to be in business! Super 8 and the brand should be embarrassed. I can’t think of one good thing to say.
- 1/5
Disgusting! Water did not work in shower or sink.. no towels tv would not work
- 5/5
Very nice building and property. I would get reservations there again.
- 1/5
Poorly maintained
- 2/5
I have used this hotel for many years and have been pleased overall. However, not this trip. The hallways smell like weed and urine, the first room I was given was already occupied which sent me back to the desk to try to get another room. The shower in my room did not work right. People in the room above me were obnoxiously loud all night. I won't be staying at this hotel again in the future.
- 1/5
No hot water in the shower. People roaming the hallways all night. People fighting at 3Am. Guy in room 201 playing Scooby Doo as loud as the TV went at 4. It sucked ass.
- 2/5
Like: quiet. Not like: no good room, poor breakfast, no ice, no fridge
- 1/5
I didn't like anything
- 3/5
Pretty good for trashy. Cheap. Slept ok.
- 3/5
Just a place to sleep. Bathroom had sopa scum and drain was slow. Breakfast was coffe snd OJ nothing else. I only stayed the night so it was adequate.
- 2/5
The foor was so dirty and the ac need to clean. No breakfast but orange juice and tea..the worste super 8.
- 1/5
The property was sketchy and not well kept up. I didn't feel safe staying there with my family.
- 4/5
not clean
- 3/5
The service was good but there were a few electrical and plumbing issues. The ice machine was always lacking.
- 5/5
Good clean room for the price
- 1/5
Also the one ice maker in the motel wasn’t working. Only plus was it was quiet and the staff was pleasant.
- 2/5
In a good note the tv did not work and I reported it to front desk staff and they fixed it quickly. Front desk staff all friendly but do not seem to be the ones in charge of making any changes. Management needs to do a walk through, identify issues and correct. Very shocked this hotel is under the Wyndham brand. They are known for high quality.
- 1/5
Overall poor conditions. Breakfast offered was just muffins, coffee and juice.
- 1/5
The remote wouldn’t shut off and no volume control the toilet ran all the time making disgusting noise, had to ask for toilet paper there was no extra available just very poor for the price!!
- 1/5
Upon arrival I walked into a horrendous smell in the foyer. Went to check into a sign that said will be back in 5 minutes. The carpets looked as though they haven't been cleaned in about 10 years. In our room the furnace was so dirty we didn't even turn it on it looked like a vacuum cleaner, the walls were peeling. Had we not already paid we would have left. We woke up to what we were told would be a small breakfast all that was there was orange juice and apple cider we think it was apple cider. Nothing else they said there'd be muffins things like that there was nothing. We went to check out and once again there was a sign that said we'll be back in 5 minutes. Waited 10 and no one again. Will never ever stay at a super 8 again.
- 2/5
Most everything needs attention
- 1/5
Poor cleanliness. Need to fix a lot of broken things.
- 1/5
The tv had to be fixed, the remote to the tv didn't work. There was any toilet paper in the bathroom. The front desk clerk didn't know how to handle the situation, so i just walked away. I'm guessing its been about a year since the stairs were vacuumed. I will never stay there again.
- 3/5
The floors were dirty in room
- 2/5
Very Run Down Room. Not exactly Clean. Parking lot had Trash everywhere Ice Machine was not working and very Unsanitary if it was... TV was not working... and the Breakfast really was Bad. Wasn't the Worst Hotel I've ever been in... but close. All I ask for in a Hotel is that it's Clean, Secure, and a Ice Machine. Felt somewhat not Safe there. Fightimg in the Parking lot as I came in nearby midnight Saturday the 14th.
- 1/5
The front desk clerk was amazing. Very friendly and professional. The hotel however was shabby and frankly dirty. The toilet in our room was making a strange sound, there were pubic hairs on the lid, the towels were black with what appeared to be mold and the door did not lock. I told the clerk we could not stay in that room and although I was offered another room I just could not stay at this place. I was treated professionally and not charged for the room as it was not habitable.
- 2/5
The remote didn't work either, but the person at the front desk was very nice and helpful, but it was just a little too dirty for us
- 3/5
Staff was wonderful, the hotel itself….ew. lol
- 1/5
It smelled like smoke. The floors have not been vacuumed. Whole place needs a facelift.
- 1/5
* Vending, other machine "out of order"... * Poor lighting.. *No little toothpaste tube * Towel rack next to shower on wall, potential fall hazard... * TV didn't work, took night manager (good, helpful guy) two new parts, 15 minutes to fix..requires two remotes to operate... * Terrible, minimal "superstar" breakfast...I just left Just really bad...
- 3/5
Very friendly and accommodating staff but hallway stunk of urine, wallpaper coming off in bathroom, mold in the caulking of tub, and heater smelled of dust.
- 1/5
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been in! Hallway smelled like urine, stains on wall, king size bed turned out to be a lumpy double that collapsed into middle, no luggage rack.
- 4/5
The room key was not working alot of time. the heater was dirty. there was not enough outlets in the room. The TV did not work. The dresser drawer right side top and bottom did not want to stay closed. The shower curtain mounts were loose.
- 3/5
There are stores close by but the hotel needs an update. Bathroom has mold towels were dingy
- 5/5
Been stay here all the time I come to visit Rochester love the staff kind and familiar and very service that’s why I will be always the number one for my next trip to Rochester
- 5/5
AAA
- 2/5
The glass on the front door was so dirty Very bad first impression And the carpets in yje hallways need a bad shampooimg
- 4/5
They shouldn't even say breakfast is included as I woke up early and it was just coffee and a muffin. Also, I had to get cups for my coffee in my room cause they never brought them. Plus, they never did housekeeping. Other than that, it was all rigjt. nice sized bedroom and bed and good a/c.
- 5/5
If you're looking for 5 star accomodations with all the perks that comes with that, you might be disappointed. However, if you want a cheap, quiet, clean place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, I highly recommend! Will definitely use this motel again.
- 2/5
The smell in my room was terrible and for a non smoking hotel the hallways smelled like smoke often
- 2/5
The young man who checked us in was polite enough, but the young man who checked us out was extremely friendly. The air conditioning worked perfectly, but the room had an insufficient layout for power outlets. It was reasonably clean, but the hallway upstairs was poorly lit. Also not impressed with the lack of an elevator. Definitely not thrilled that the fellow who checked us in saw us each carrying in two arm loads and put us on the second floor. The parking lot was practically empty when we got there, so the hotel wasn't full and he had a choice not to make us climb stairs with everything we brought. Not at all impressed.
- 2/5
Super 8 does not take cash upon check in, which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of!! The floor behind the bed was dirty and there was a medicine cup behind one of the headboards. Carpets were stained.
- 2/5
Very old, not updated, dirty and stinking carpet and room. The doors are a joke! Fob keys don’t work, door looks like it’s been broken into before, back door lock is broken! Couldn’t access the safe box in the room, someone else still had it locked! The toilet clogged up and backed up. We had to call the front desk who came with a plunger to help 😏. Although they said the whole hotel is nonsmoking, I can still place what the permanent unpleasant smell is at this hotel. Never going back there or any Super8!
- 2/5
Mattress was in bad condition. Ice machine ran out of ice. Toilet bowl and tank were loose.
- 3/5
The mini muffins as the only breakfast option was very poor.
- 4/5
Floors and towels were stained.
- 5/5
The thing I like the most is that when I got there the air conditioner in the room that they checked me into wasn’t working. I went to the desk and explained to the desk clerk what was going on he came down to the room and checked it and told me to give him 10 minutes and he would put me in another room. It was great for the price, a great location and that’s too far out from local stores shopping, etc..
- 5/5
the rooms were not clean, peeling wallpaper, mold on ceiling in bathroom, fire alarm went off several times during the night, no elevator, siding falling off on the outside of the motel. one of the dirtiest places Ive stayed. had a 7 day reservation but after contacting expedia left after only 1 nite
- 1/5
This is hands down the nastiest property I have ever seen.
- 3/5
In my case several one off issues arose which took the shine off the stay. However, the staff did everything they could and in the end issues got resolved.
- 3/5
Alarms went off a couple of nights, stayed from Tuesday to following Monday with no maid service
- 2/5
I made a reservation for three separate rooms for family visiting us for graduation celebrations. When I took my family members to check into their rooms I was informed that they only had two rooms for us. It was a horrible situation to be in when your family is counting on you to get them accommodations. Apparently I missed a call from the establishment at 6:30pm, and they did NOT leave a voicemail to warn us. The attendant at Super 8, only got his first name, Ryan was unapologetic and said that we would have to obtain a different hotel room from a different establishment. He informed us that it was some electrical issues with the certain room doors. If I made the reservations weeks ahead of other customers, why weren’t we given priority and why was Ryan so unconcerned with the predicament his employer put us in. VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! We will not be using Super 8 from this point on.
- 1/5
Bathroom clean; beds terrible, roll to the middle of mattress; A/C filthy, screen broken; ice machine out of service; pop machine out of service; food vending machine empty out of service; carpets beyond their life-filthy; 2nd day all guests were notified the keying system was broken and not to lock doors if you left your room.
- 3/5
It was hard to get here from the outset. Apple Maps has this property listed as permanently closed. We've stayed in many Super 8s as a good budget option, but this one was a disappointment. The smell hits you first. Weed and cigarette smoke - even though it's a non-smoking property. Check-in was fine. Carpets are filthy. There's no way I was going to step barefoot on these floors. The room was hot and muggy upon entrance because the a/c was off. Fine - energy saving. A/C unit was ancient, but worked excellently. Carpets dirty and stained, wallpaper sagging in the corners, bedspread had cigarette burn holes, furniture was old, stained, and dingy. Sheets seemed clean. The highlight was the bathroom which was bright and clean. Breakfast was OJ and prepackaged muffins. Never really got used to the smell of the place. Unless things change dramatically, I'd give this property a hard pass in future visits to the area.
- 1/5
Example: the shower curtain rod was rehung too high so the shower custom would not stay in the bathtub. This hotel canceled my second night because of issues with the door codes. No one could get in the rooms.
- 3/5
Pet peeve!! Vending machines were not working. Would have liked a cold drink
- 1/5
Therecwas no tp or kleenex Thre ac didnt work and thetr wrr people people oustside inof our room in the parking lot all nigh making noise and doing drugs. I swet there were prostitues outthete propositioning everyone . It was truly disgusting and i wpuld like my money back
- 2/5
In room 118, the bathroom ceiling was in terrible condition.
- 2/5
Needs major investment in property!! Not suitable for families, imo.
- 2/5
Tv did not work ONU room and breakfast was basically a cup of coffee
- 1/5
Terrible condition. TV didn’t work and dirty room
- 4/5
More motel like. Carry your ownbags upstairs. No elevator. Vary lacking on breakfast for on included
- 3/5
should have included a small fridge, I wound up throwing out food I bought to eat, otherwiser good. I wish the pepsi machine and snack machine were working.
- 1/5
The check in person was a great guy other than that place smell like cigarettes and wasn’t a pleasant stay.
- 2/5
Room was outdated and not very clean. Had to wait awhile for an attendant to come to the front desk.
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Desk staff were prompt and helpful. HVAC unit was old. Room safe was locked and combo could not be reset. Face plate was missing from electrical outlet near the bed.
- 3/5
The only thing really positive with this hotel was the bed was really comfy and it was quiet also lots of grass in the area for our little furkid. The breakfast was almost non existant :( I was very disappointed with that, only creamers available were hazelnut for the coffee.. there was no cereal (no milk anyways) a few 2 bite muffins from Walmart and some toast but I didnt see any packages of peanut butter margarine or jelly...unless it was hidden under the counter. The 1st day i pumped coffee into the cup and rhe bottom 1/4 of the cup was nothjng but coffee grinds.. 2nd day better but...only hazelnut creamers available. I guess you get what you pay for..i did mention to the front desk about the plugged up bathroom sink and the shower had more pressure or water from the spout than the shower head. Hopefully they fix it. I do not see us staying there again. It was a bit out of the way for us. Great if you have a family and like bowling as there is a Bowlero next door.
- 3/5
Room amenities can be improved.
- 4/5
Property outside needed attention. My doir had to be lifted uo to lick
- 2/5
The light switches didn’t work on 2 different lights. The television didn’t either, except for the first night of the trip. The shower got progressively cooler each day and on the last morning, it was ice cold. The outlets were very loose.
