Nice place, nice people, great value
- 5/5
Great little motel. It is small, but the rooms are very clean and very well stocked. They make sure you have all you need for a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Always a good time when staying here! The tvs are huge, bed was surprisingly comfortable, the shower pressure was awesome and the staff was super friendly and helpful! They are so convenient where their located and even though it looks old and rough on the outside, don't judge a book by its cover!
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
It was a room and a shower for my travel needs
- 4/5
Better than I expected for a basic room. Very clean, big screen TV (could use a sleep timer though), quiet and in a safe inviting neighborhood. I’d stay again without question.
- 4/5
The price was good and it was close to a lot of resturants and shops. Nothing fancy but adequate for our needs
- 5/5
It may be a small, unassuming, motel but it has been well maintained and clean Suited our needs perfectly
- 4/5
Parking was great. Very good value. Convenient location. Check-in was accommodating and easy.
- 4/5
Very comfortable place to stay, hotel check-in person was accommodating. Good parking and a good value.
- 4/5
The place was neat and clean. Easy and fast check-in. I made use of the fridge and microwave, and the bed was comfy. Wasn't expecting any other amenities so this was perfect for the price.
- 0.5/5
nothing everything
- 5/5
Small old-style motel room with comfortable bed and quiet. A good nights sleep for a good price.
- 5/5
Great staff and room was fantastic. Had to make a change last minute but that was not a problem. Great hot water, micro, fridge. My favorite place to stay when traveling through! Parking within 50 feet of your room. Staff is always so helpful and friendly :)
- 2.5/5
We chose this place because it was near to where we needed to be and the other hotels/motels in the vicinity did not accept pets. The walls are thin. We could hear the TV in the neighboring room quite clearly.
- 1/5
Would not recommend
- 0.5/5
The room did not appear cleaned. There were hairs in the tub along with a used soap bar on the shower shelf. The bathroom sink clogged immediately on first use and never drained. Half of the windows did not lock making the room feel unsafe. The bedding was not clean on either bed.
- 3/5
Very small room
- 3/5
It is a motel so the world is right outside the door, which was not completely sealed from the weather. For the price it was fine. And given how little I was there, it sufficed.
- 2/5
Walls were paper thin. Took was cramped. Noisy neighbors, could hear everything including pigeons cooing. Only one exta pillow available. What a dive! Lol
- 4/5
It was a cute little place. Reminded me of the little road side motels my parents took us to on road trips.
- 1/5
The person greeting me was pleasant. That was the end of it. Hotel.com and any other site listing this place should be charged with fraud. This place is a dump. Take a look at the Photos. I actually thought I had selected an Extended Stay but didn’t notice that I got this place instead. It was rated asa 3star motel but is a zero star. Everything was dirty and worn out. The blanket had cigarette burns. The stove top was filthy. The refrigerator was broken inside and dented. The couch was decrepit and stained. The sink and tub were stained. The reviews list stated it was “pleasant” and rated it 6.2 but when I dug further after I realized I had been taken, there were plenty of negative accurate reviews that initially did not show up.
- 3.5/5
Shower was hot with good water pressure. Bed was firm and supportive. Good-sized TV. Maintenance needs to tighten up a few things in the restroom. More annoying than anything.
- 4/5
good budget motel
- 4/5
Was ok but could have been a little bit better
- 5/5
Good nights sleep
- 2.5/5
Clean. Great staff Small room Noisy.
- 2/5
They were working in the room next door. Our room smelled like paint fumes for hours and the banged around late into the evening making it difficult to get any rest.
- 3/5
It was easy to locate. When we pulled up people were outside partying. The room was mainly cleaned. The jacuzzi tub wasn’t cleaned very well. i cleaned it. Jacuzzi tub will need to be replaced.
- 4/5
Very nice place for the money. Our room had new hardwood floors and a comfortable king bed. We were able to check in early and there was free parking in front of our room. Will stay here again!!!! Room needed a chair to sit on.
- 5/5
stay was ok rooms small no extras ok for the price
- 3/5
The towels were really grungy looking. They obviously haven't been bleached since they were acquired. Bathroom sink seemed clean but the mirror above it was really filthy. The heat/cool unit in the room was very loud so I shut it off at night, but the room next door left theirs on all night and the noise was worse than mine, making it difficult to sleep. But the bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Except for the heat/cool units, the motel was very quiet.
- 4/5
This is a get what you pay for type of place. If you want the fancy modern hotel experience, this is not it. But if you want a cheap place to stay the Relax Inn is just that. The room was very small but functional for myself. The walls are terribly thin!! The first night I heard the entire phone conversation from my neighbor including the person on the other line! The staff at the motel was very pleasant and he reserved a close by parking place for me each night due to the fact I had a handicap placard.
- 2/5
Pet friendly Dumpster right by parking lot was filled to overflowing. Probably needs to be emptied more often. TV only played the Weather Channel.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and keeps the place very cleann
- 3/5
It’s obviously an older property that could do with a lot of updating (especially needs new carpeting) but the staff was nice, we had a full kitchen, heat worked well (temps were in the teens when we stayed), and the bed was comfortable. It’s a mom and pop place and it’s not fancy but it served the purpose and the price was right.
- 2.5/5
Was dirty. The jacuzzi tub was filthy and the buttons were broken. Metal sticking out of the side of the bed, still have a big nasty bruise on my leg from hitting it.
- 5/5
Very cheap rooms
- 4/5
Great staff, very clean and reasonably priced room.
- 4/5
Needed an inexpensive bed for the night. This place was clean and convenient. Met our needs, but the walls are thin and our room was pretty small. All I all, fit the bill for a quick stay.
- 4/5
Cheap and a nice place if you get the nice rooms
- 4/5
The new rooms are very clean and fancy I would recommend booking one of the new rooms and I think you'll like it
- 4/5
It was mostly pretty quiet, I had everything I needed. I think the bath or carpet could have been cleaner, though it looked clean ( I get athlete's foot when either is not cleaned well.)
- 4/5
It had a working mini-fridge, microwave, and tiny coffee maker. The newish flat screen tv and remote worked well. The small bathroom with pocket door had hot water, toilet, sink, and light-up vanity mirror. The queen bed was comfortable with clean but worn bedding. There was a small side table and an office chair In the opposite corner. No dresser, desk, or other furniture -- three hooks in the wall with a full-size mirror in the corner next to the tv. The room had recently been renovated, with laminate vinyl flooring. Space was pretty tight. The biggest positive was Sisi, the owner/manager. He was very responsive. He helped me on the phone re-book when accidentally booked wrong dates and was very nice when I checked in. The biggest negative was the very small room and potential noise levels. I was tucked into a small hallway, so had no view, which was ok because I didn't hear road noise. I could easily hear my neighbors when they went to and from their rooms. Luckily, they were generally considerate and were not up late.
- 0.5/5
The location was convenient for me Place is truly not worth what I paid,
- 4/5
loved the location and it served our purposes well. All we needed was a clean local place to sleep.
- 3/5
Was a fair price for the stay.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent rooms are old but clean beds and pillows were excellent. Rooms had a musty off smell. Location was excellent.
- 4/5
Quiet and affordable
- 3/5
The towels were stained.
- 4/5
Nice place. If you just want to lay your head down
- 3.5/5
Very clean , staff was very nice Nothing

- 4.5/5
Location Misty smell , but we were provided a spray , also they are remodeling the Inn , but no interference with the guests We will be back next year !!
- 4/5
It ain't the Hilton. Rooms had a musty smell. Interior decor was old and worn out. But staff were very friendly and it was quiet. Bottom line I'd stay there again.
- 3/5
We like the hot tube it was nices The bed too hard to sleep on but I understand get what you pay for.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3/5
It was perfectly adequate, but just. The room was ... frayed.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The inn was being remodeled while we were there, so I expect that it will be much improved for next year. Our bathroom was tiny, with missing light bulbs and a pedestal sink that didn't seem to be attached to anything but the water line.
- 5/5
Great value for money
- 3.5/5
I liked the price, seeing we only needed it for sleeping (went to a concert). It was a decent room, nothing fancy. It had a microwave and fridge. Bed was comfy. Would stay again. Updated, but then it is a motel and like I said, for the price it was good and decent.
- 1/5
On main road Dirty, old, broken, turn window coverings Lights didn’t work
- 1/5
Location on Empire Blvd in Webster was good. Staff was not unfriendly. Looked safe enough, with police in the area. Looks like they are renovating some rooms (not ours!). They should not be charging money for humans to sleep in these rooms. It was the worst place I've stayed, maybe ever. Large hole in the wall, three burn holes in the blanket (we slept in our clothes), tiny dirty bathroom, paper-thin walls. Not worthy of the "good" rating I saw on booking.com. We barely slept after listening to two men talking outside our room from 4:30am on. We left as quickly as possible.
- 2/5
I have stayed at many value motels. As long as the rooms are clean I usually expect to get what I pay for in terms of amenities, furniture or decor. This is a small old school type motel. It looks like part of it is under renovation, so I hope the room we were in is being redone. It needs to be. Although the bedding appeared reasonably clean & the bed was comfortable enough, everything else was heavily worn, stained or had a layer of dirt. I was extremely careful to not touch anything more than I had to, especially in the bathroom. We had a room with a kitchenette but luckily did not need to use it; inside the cupboards was dirt & grime. The small fridge seemed fairly new but had a bulging layer of ice at the back. The TV worked fine. I could handle the one night there, but the room needs some basic cleaning, and as I said, will hopefully be renovated.
- 3/5
Room in need of repairs
- 1/5
I’m not sure who gave this property rating of 7.2 they must have been smoking crack. The property is undergoing some kind of renovation, but doesn’t seem like they’re doing too much of Anything. About the only thing that I can say about my room is that it didn’t smell too bad. The carpet was threaded bear. The bed linen was not inviting at all. I used my own blanket and pillow to sleep on top of their blanket and I still woke up the next morning itching with bites the bathroom about the only thing I could do was wash up at the sink because the shower was dirty, The shower curtain had not been changed ever. I think it was moldy. It was dirty and there was absolutely no way I was going to try to take a shower with shower shoes room had a so-called Jacuzzi and I don’t want to even think about what was growing in those spickets. I ended up leaving early because I was afraid for my safety. One of the guest came up in my face, pointing his finger at me in a threatening manner and called me an f-ing n*gg*r because my puppy, a 3 pound yorkie, scared his wife. He also tried to kick my puppy. Thank goodness he missed. The whole incident was captured on their security camera or so management said, but they’ve refused to do absolutely nothing about it so I felt it was not safe for me to stay there any longer. I’ll the safety of their guests is no concerned to them
- 3/5
Basic motel. No body there at check in. A sign with a phone number. Later some showed up. A section of motel being renovated. May get better over time. A few restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
Inexpensive, and well appointed space.
- 1/5
The guy behind the desk was very kind. But the property itself is a dump. Some rooms were not in use and boarded over. Used doors were leaning against outside walls. My room was gross. Huge holes in the wall above one of the beds. Big fist sized rips and holes in one of the bedspreads. Bathroom was yucky. I paid for an absolute dump. What a ripoff. I only booked it because of the name - Relax Inn. The Choice hotels of Comfort Inn, Econoldge etc. sometimes have properties with that name. This is NOT one of those. Don’t stay here - you’ll regret it.
- 3/5
I have been a long time customer at this property. I stay here because the staff are friendly and respectful. However, the property needs a desperate clean up / upgrade on the furniture, fixtures, carpets etc. especially the beds and mattresses. They have great traffic, reasonable prices and with these improvements', this will always be a great place for a night or two.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Very quiet and a relaxing hide a way .. definitely will be coming back. Reasonable prices for what you get.
- 5/5
Perfect stay
- 5/5
I liked the overall cleanliness of my room, and i noticed a door skirt on the bottom of my door. Nice and tight no gap underneath.
- 4/5
We were coming in from out of town and just staying overnight, not looking for any amenities other than a decent room and a good night's sleep. this is a very sweet little place and served us right. Our only annoyance, which wasn't really, was that the tv rebooted itself every half hour!
- 3/5
Most of the electrical plugs did not work. Overhead light in bathroom very dim and light over the sink didn't work. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. The bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Great price.
- 4/5
The bathroom was outdated. PayPal payment is not available.
- 5/5
They where very kind and helpful, we plan to to stay there again. Next time that we are in town.
- 5/5
All one floor is a bonus.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean. Very friendly staff. I be definitely be staying here again while on vacation.
- 3/5
The room was well cleaned, but the condition was rough in places. The bathroom floor had multiple cracked tiles, and there was tape covering cracks/holes in the shower. The door had visible gaps at the bottom; it's likely very drafty and cold in the winter months. We were comfortable in our stay, but it felt like some maintenance is needed.
- 2/5
How can you substitute a piece of wood for a towel rack bar and think that is OK? I'm not talking a varnished, laminated piece of wood. I'm talking a piece of 2X4 cut to fit between the two brackets! That's what I found in my bathroom, and I might add the smallest shower I have seen in any hotel bathroom bar none. And for $80 a night I would have expected more. I'd like to know which rooms the people who gave this hotel an overall rating of over 7 stayed in...certainly not number 8. Oh, and to add insult to injury, the remote only worked to change the channels and look at the guide. You could not power on, mute or adjust the volume on the remote. Oh and then there's the matter of the jacuzzi in the room that didn't work and from looking at it obviously hadn't been used in some time. A disappointing stay to say the least.
- 2/5
The room we were in really needed some extra care and attention. Please wash the blankets and bedspreads but especially the blankets. They appeared quite old and dirty. Remove the chair that is on wheels. It is stained and I would never sit on it. The carpets desperately need to be removed and replaced or at least steam cleaned. Please defrost the freezer in the mini fridge. Bugs have an easy entrance to the bathroom since there is no screen on the window and the window was open when we checked in. The shower curtain must be replaced; it is stained. The walls of the bathroom need to be wiped down with a good cleaner. The bathtub, toilet and sink were clean. Future guests make an informed decision as to whether to stay here or not. We paid $85 USD.
- 3/5
It is a very dated motel. A lot of upgrades are needed. However, for a solo traveller for one night, it’s fine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. It did the trick.
- 3/5
We’re sorry to say the carpeting was very dirty and badly in need of cleaning or replacement.
- 4/5
Kitchen doesn’t have any supplies so best to bring those with you if you are hoping to make use of the mini-kitchen! It’s a dated motel but I enjoyed my stay, and felt safe travelling solo there.
- 4/5
Met our needs. Will stay again if we come back through
- 2/5
Terrible smell in the room of old tobacco smell, gave me headaches. Bathroom was dirty, towels smelled clean but had spots on them. Doors should have more secure locks. Would not recommend for females staying alone. Kitchen has no plates, utensils, silverware, pans etc. One bed was good the other was not, pillows were very small and only two provided per bed. Minimum plugs by the bedside tables, for charging phones, watches and hot spot. Bathroom plug ended up not working by the end of our stay. Good selection on the cable channels.
- 5/5
1 suggestion: Add safety hand rail next to toilet. 1 safety tip: have slip proof mats in the tub. We were very please with our experience at Relax Inn.
- 5/5
the facility was great and the next time I am in the Rochester area I will stay here. I loved having a full kitchen and made full use of it.
- 5/5
Check in was quick and the clerk kind.
- 4/5
While this was an older motel in need of some maintenance, it was comfortable and clean. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. The price was reasonable and it's located in a convenient location. We would definitely stay there again!
- 4/5
No frills, clean 2 bedroom with kitchenette.
- 4/5
While this is a no-frills place, it suited our purpose. It was one of the few places we stayed on that 18-day trip to the Rochester area (with two midweek side trips to some Canadian cities) that did not provide some form of breakfast to their guests. Those of the staff (owners?) we met were helpful and pleasant.
- 4/5
Reasonably priced hotel in an expensive area. The room was worn. Furnishing needs updating. Kept fairy clean except there was a dirty sock under the sink and coffee was left in the carafe but the previous guest.
- 5/5
Very nice, clean, quiet room. Check-in was very quick and smooth. Will visit again.
- 3/5
Good for the price!
- 3/5
Out of date property. No added value there is no vending machines.
- 5/5
Nice stay. Outdated room but very clean and the staff were awesome
- 4/5
It is what it is - a no frill older property for a short stay. It was clean, and close to the event we were at. No noise at night, and about all we could ask of a place that was that affordable. Bring a hair dryer!
- 2/5
The bed was terrible, the hood over the stove looks like has never been clean. to top it of, one lousy coffee packege.
- 5/5
Management very accommodating.
- 3/5
It indicated on the door to our room non smoking. But there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the HVAC unit ouside our room every day. The smell of the cigarettes was pulled into the room. The pillows were not bed pillows, they were small accent pillows. Bring your own pillows if you stay here. The toiletries were not sufficient for bathing. Bring your own shampoo, soap, etc. There is a target and Walmart close. That being said, the room was comfortable and conveniently located. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Very clean. Room was recently painted. Looked like a newer rug. Good little place to stay and a good rate
- 4/5
Very nice place. Could use an update there was a few holes in the walls in the bathroom. But it was clean and the staff was nice
- 4/5
Its an older motel i knew that but im in a studio apt style room and its not too bad the furniture is dated but its fine. Neighbors are noisy but not motels fault
- 4/5
Nice and quiet, with a friendly staff.
- 3/5
A standard, basic motor lodge. Great water pressure and clean. An easy upgrade would be new blankets for the beds; they were worn out and kind of gross.
- 1/5
On an up note the owner was willing to change our room because of my breathing. Other rooms were worse. Had a kitchen which had no toaster, pots and pans or dishes. I will never go back here and would absolutely not recommend it!!!!!!! Price wise it was a rip off.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Printed off maps for us of best places to visit Lake Ontario.
- 5/5
My suite was absolutely fantastic, would come back again. I loved the mini home feel of the room that i had.
- 5/5
Big parking, close to everything
- 4/5
The front desk person was really nice! Through myself was overall pretty clean. I really loved that there was a stove and refrigerator and coffee maker inside the room! The property felt safe and was really quiet at night. I would stay there again!
- 3/5
For the price it was average. No problems, we enjoyed our time there.
- 1/5
it's horrible
- 5/5
Beautifully refurbished and roomy- very comfortable and staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The price was very reasonable too!
- 4/5
The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
- 4/5
For the price it was exellent.
- 3/5
The condition of the room was barely ok. Most aspects of the room showed extreme amounts of usage and age. At night it was very loud from other guests or the road traffic..mostly other guests being loud. Seemed a bit shady to be honest.
- 3/5
Very nice owners but the place is old outdated and has a strong mold or mildew smell. I do see the effort, but updates are needed.
- 3/5
There was no breakfast anything at all. Both vending machines were empty or didn't work. The toilet in our room was tippy and clunked loudly when I stood up.
- 4/5
Ok standing
- 3/5
I stayed here for one night. For all intents and purposes, it was fine. However the room could have been cleaner. There was dust and some dirt on the carpet that may have been overlooked. The blankets also had holes in some areas. The kitchen area looked clean, including the refrigerator. I didn’t use the microwave, so I can’t speak on that. All in all, it was okay.
- 3/5
The setting is surrounded by mature trees, lots of birds, in a quiet area. Staff is super friendly, but the room is rundown, basically clean but stained and worn carpets. Would be good for a fishing stay over, having a full-size refrigerator, microwave, electric range. If you don't mind old and dated, a decent place to stay.
- 5/5
We stayed in the “apartment“ it was an excellent room with loads of space and area for a group hang out. Staff member “J” was amazing as well.
- 5/5
Clean and functional
- 3/5
Needs to be updated a little. But we would cme back again.
- 4/5
Window opened for fresh air. Not under anylon
- 5/5
Started out earlier in the week Relax Inn called about canceling my room (they didn't have anyone to clean the rooms because of the holiday weekend & were going to shut down completely) after a short discussion the gentleman told me to come ahead that they would have room for me & let me check-in early on top of that. Thank you very much for the fantastic service! Look forward to next racing season @ Spencer Speedway & staying with you again!
- 5/5
This is an older motel that is meticulously cleaned, very comfortable, and features large rooms at a great price. We have stayed there 4-5 times and will be again soon.
- 3/5
Small, clean room. If you like a firm mattress, you will be happy.
- 5/5
Owners we awesome & I loved the room!!
- 3/5
The stuff was not friendly. He never informed me the check out time. So I thought it would be 12 noon as usual. But at 11am he was asking us to leave.
- 4/5
I have stayed here multiple times. For the price, you get a full kitchen with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee-making machine that you do not get in most chains. I don't care about the little wear and tear of the rooms as its comfortable, friendly, and convenient to my work. They have upgraded the room access with touchless cards. Very nice!.
- 5/5
Got an early start that day due to weekend traffic, arrived 2 1/2 hrs. before check-in time, the staff had no problem with checking in which was really great! (NO CHARGE) The room was great , bed was comfortable, nice hot shower the next morning & was ready to hit road again. Will stay again!
