Such an awesome and quaint little place to stay. Right off the Appalachian Trail and super close to great hiking, it was a fantastic stay!

Easy check in since you get a code for the room via email. No one from the property present. Rooms updated and clean. Bathroom had a small single sink. Heater/AC a wall unit which does not include the bathroom.

Very surprised when I entered the room very clean reminded me of accommodations in Europe very satisfied.

Fantastic location, close to Waynesboro’s restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the property was beautiful. The check in and out process was simple. The staff were very responsive and informative about my trip. I would definitely recommend and will most likely stay there again for another hiking trip.

Our Tv would not connect to the internet, the TV also had no sound and one of the drinks we got from the self serve shop was expired in 2023

Very clean, comfortable and convenient to the park. Maybe it was the physical exhaustion from hiking, but i slept better here than i do at home. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Later in the evening we started a fire in the one of 3 fire pits with wood we bought at the Motel KIOSK, along with the complimentary Fire Starters. As we enjoyed a few beers a father daughter were walking their two dogs around. A quick hello and we had new friends. Spent a few hours sipping beers, petting dogs and enjoying casual conversation. The place is quiet and beautifully redone. I probably will be staying here again next time I go hiking.

The bed was so comfortable The water pressure and the shower were fantastic. There was a mix up with my original reservation but the owner jumped right in and not only made it right but went above. We will definitely be back!!

We had a couple bugs and peeling paint, if you care about that. Wasn’t a huge deal for us. I loved the green space with fire pits and you could buy s’mores kits and fire wood. It’s a “no-contact” property so we didn’t speak to anyone but we were in and out. It was a little odd accessing the store with a code and buying soda on camera with a scanner but it worked We couldn’t get the tv to stream from various apps but YouTube tv worked so it wasn’t a total loss.

I think the motel is renovated beautifully. The coffee bar/gift shop area was cute. Easy for us to use.if we had stayed longer we would have loved to take advantage of the fire pit and trail.
