Only ding was the pool was closed. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I didn’t know Cracker Barrel served alcohol. I do now. Good to have a cold one after traveling.

Was concerned that there was no fan in the bathroom to vent the air while I was showering. When I tried to call the front desk about it, there was no answer. Also, the way the shower was constructed water from the shower drained in the actual room (as opposed to the shower). I had to use the towels to soak up all the water so that I could stand at the sink!

Room was clean but there were no coffee making facilities at all. You had to go downstairs to a dispenser to get a drink. Breakfast was poor with very little choice

Everything was clean and well kept. Gluten free muffins were available at breakfast which I greatly appreciated as someone with celiac disease I usually have to go without or get breaks somewhere else on my own.

I stay here quite a bit convenient location to the Cracker Barrel. Staff is always friendly and helpful. For the first time ever meeting, Room was being used for a graduation party. Music was playing all the way up until 10 o’clock. It was literally during the jawing the wall. I like let people to enjoy graduation, but I feel that the music should’ve been cut off around nine for people who’s got to get up super early for work.

The hotel is clean and Jeff at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms and hall way are dated.

Room is not maintained well remote control is taped together, hand held shower only because the wall holder was broken. Toilet extremely loud and runs if handle not jiggled. Not worth the $300 price tag

We were woken up in the middle of the night due to a false fire alarm going off & it pretty much ruined the overnight sleep. The Room had some type of gritty sand on the bathroom floor that was everywhere.

A local high school prom was held there and was quite noisy and caused an evacuation.

The menu for breakfast was fresh and varied enough for a free breakfast at any motel offering one and much better than some where we have stayed. The room was clean. At the start of our stay, the air conditioning/heating unit was not working properly and when the front desk was notified, they replied immediately and changed our room with absolutely no problem. In fact the desk guy helped move our stuff! He was super helpful and most courteous and his name was Jeff, so please make sure that he receives a good commendation for his service!

The morning after check in we discovered that the bath tub had not been cleaned. Totally unacceptable! When I told the front desk the staff member said she would let the manager know. That is far as it went. It never got cleaned. Would not stay there again!

We shouldn’t have had to figure out, how to get a warm shower Plus the step down to get out of the shower was so high that I almost fell. For the rest of the trip I was afraid of our shower.

No coffee makers even though they have it listed as an amenity on their web-site. There was garbage on the floor in front of the AC/Heater from the unit, i imagine someone 1/2 cleaned the filter to the unit and then reinstalled the filters backwards so when the ac was turned on it blew the rest of the crap out of the filter into the room.

A friendly, comfortable, convenient, clean place to spend time on your journey. The provided breakfast was not stellar, but everything else was very very nice.

We left after we learned the pool was “out of order”, the tv didn’t work in our first or second room we were assigned. Overall didn’t feel comfortable in the hallways of room.

There are a lot of hotels around Waynesboro but Im glad we chose Best Western. It is very clean. The free breakfast is great. Every member of the staff we met was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

It was close to I 64. Day shift personnel were congenial. Breakfast was good. Coffee machine had multiple choices. Large countertop in the bathroom was nice. Could hear traffic from highway. Front desk evening person was not hospitable. Could use bigger cups for for the coffee maker since it filled to the brim and was easy to spill.

Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean..floors could use a little more cleaning around the perimeters. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. The pool was closed for maintenance so that was a bit disappointing as we had 6 kids with us that were looking forward to swimming. I liked that it was close to many restaurants, shopping, and nearby parks

Pool is closed currently. Would have been nice to know before booking the holiday weekend and not having this resource available. Also, at 7:30am Sunday - maintentence was on patio by pool initially hitting ice with a broom handle and then switched to a pot. Loved hearing that racket to start our day.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful very welcoming and super helpful especially during this winter storm. 4 stayed 4 nights the hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we’re in Waynesboro

That it’s located in waynesboro When we arrived, our room smelled like cigarettes. The heat smelled like it was on fire on burning something. The pullout sofa bed had no linen. It was paper thin with nothing but coil sticking out of it. There were no accommodations in the bathroom, no accessories, no shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush Checked in for two adults got one hand towel one towel. The overall room experience was a disaster. The heat was very loud. The pool was broken. The only reason I paid for that hotel was due to the pool being told it worked just fine multiple times I asked before we booked the room and was told the pool was open and it worked just fine. The only thing that was wrong was the humidity the pool was freezing cold out of water no towels the door didn’t even work. Our room key got stuck all the time in our room door, which is a very big inconvenience and a very expensive inconvenience. To be honest. I feel like we should be refunded our entire day and put into a suite that they’ve accommodated more too. I would not give a good review for paying for a hotel with an indoor pool and being deceived. Our whole intentions was to take our son swimming. We did not get to enjoy that or even really attempted as the entire pool area was shut down. I asked for a refund. I also asked for discount on a new room so that we could stay another night. I was told these accommodations were not to be made, however, the staff is very friendly. April was really nice. She was new and did not know all the ins and outs of the facility I feel that the state should be called until the pool was fixed. There were open wires near the water.

Bacon and potatoes were really good with breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was always very friendly. Could use improvement on breakfast. No one around to assist, had to go to the front desk to get napkins and the 2 people there looked clueless, how do you have bread for toast and NO BUTTER! Had hot tea bags but no hot water to make the tea, kind of defeated the purpose.

The top draw on the dresser was missing. The indoor pool was out of order. Was told by staff member at the front desk that the pool had been out of order for a long time. Was also told that the pool itself was working and that we could use it. When we went to the pool, we found it dirty. This was one of the main reasons we booked with this hotel. Elven the breakfast was awful. In the morning a staff member tried to open our door.

Location was perfect for my meeting, Staff was friendly. Restaurants close by for dinner. The shower knob was loose and I reported it to the front desk after breakfast for repair. There was some loud noise outside in the parking lot and it was disturbing every half to one hour.

The location to the event we were attending was close and also close to family in the area. The pillows need improvement. You lay your head down and basically your head sinks to the bed. It was close to not having a pillow. Additionally, the beds were too hard. Not very comfortable.

The room was large and had a nice size refrigerator. However, the floors had not been vacuumed and the room had an overall dirty smell. The staff was courteous, but somewhat inattentive. Normally upon entering the lobby, the hotel customer service representative greets each visitor. We were somewhat ignored. The breakfast was outstanding. The culinary staff was very friendly.

The reason I chose this hotel was indoor heated pool. It was still open, although the dehumidifier was broken in the pool room. The pool was not heated to a normal temp and was too cold to swim. There were no extras like lotion for after shower or bar soap for washing hands.

A tad difficult to get to off the exit. Many rights and lefts. I made a mistake the first try and had to repeat my directions.

The best westerns are very convenient place to stay close to everything that we needed. Right next door is a cracker barrel in another nice restaurant.The place was nice and clean.The breakfast was okay.I've had better, but i've had worse too. Our beds were comfortable so far, so good

Pool was out of order

Fire alarm was going off all night. Probably about 30 times between midnight and 6am.

Best Western’s internet service was down so that the the receptionist could not determine if an early check in (1:30 pm instead of 3:00 pm) was possible. As I had just that day sold and moved out of my existing home and needed to rest before driving 4+ hours to my new home, with a pet, I had no choice but to skip taking a rest and power through on the drive. No consideration given for the major inconvenience and expense. Never again.

The beds were super uncomfortable. The A/C heat wasn’t that great. The hand soap was awful smelling. They didn’t even provide bedding for the foldout mattress you had to request it. The bath tub faucet kept leaking. The pool was “out of order”. Really the only good part was the breakfast.

Room was not as clean as expected: fake nail found on the floor, hair in the bathtub, curtains were stained. Had a room with a door separating another room: people next door smoked and all the smell came into our room. This issue was addressed by staff memeber who came and sprayed some febreeze. This did not stop the people smoking again. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good.

Friendly staff and awesome breakfast Absolutely will not be going to any from booking again. False advertisement for the hotel. Bathroom smelled like urine. Not set up for requests that were already approved and I had to retrieve everything myself with my kids back and forth like hotel blankets that were not ready in the room already. Not enough towels. And the main reason for choosing this particular hotel was the indoor swimming pool which was definitely not in working order. The room nextdoor had an oversized loud dog that barked at every slight sound. And I have a 5 year old boy with ADHD so go figure. It was a disaster and arrived for an earlier check in just to enjoy the pool that wasn't working

The room was ok, but could have used a better cleaning. The staff were pleasant, but not very knowledgeable or helpful. The pool stayed "out of order" for the entire stay, which was one reason we booked this hotel. The water in the shower fluctuated between cold and warm - there was no hot water. The coffee machine and breakfast items often needed refilling, but were left empty. It was overall just "meh" with the lack of some of the basics of a hotel stay.

Rooms are clean but need to be updated. Bad lighting. Seemed like lights were missing in our room. Beds were fine. However, the breakfast was disappointing. Never seen such strange "fried eggs" before. They were rubbery, etc. Potatoes were cold. Entire breakfast stations were in a sad state. Price too high for what is offered. Not coming back to this place.

Room was excellent. Breakfast was terrible. Went at 8:30, they were out of coffee, bacon, eggs, and sausage. No syrup for waffles, no napkins, no dipper to get gravy. No sugar for coffee, but since there was no coffee anyway that wasn’t a big deal. The cereal was beyond stale. After a hour wait nothing had been refilled so we ended up leaving and going to a restaurant for breakfast

Bathrooms smell very bad. Feels like mold everywhere. Gym is very dusty. Except that it was nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee options. Front deak assistants were very profesonal and nice.

Everything went well until check out day. The cleaning girl comes in around 10am. I said Im checking out at 11. She continues to clean. I had to go downstairs to get a cart. When I got back, I told her to leave. She had already cleaned the bathroom. Oh well, I needed to take a shower before checking out. She cleaned the bathroom then had to clean it again.

Very dirty! Was switched to 2 different rooms and all three rooms were so dirty and very stinky. All the rooms I was given had dirty sheets and one had blood on them. Looks like bed bug bites that left blood behind. Nast hotel from the lamps to the sheets.

Road noise and loud voices in parking lot hindered sleeping. Given a handicapped room which wasn't needed or requested. Bathroom is outdated and door squeaks very louder.

Only pro, it's convenient to dining. Staff is unprofessional, often times waiting in line with you at breakfast. Breakfast is a joke, barely edible. Lastly, check-in is a long process with Dave the night auditor. Nobody wants to wait that long to get checked in and then have to input more information into a kiosk computer at the front desk before receiving keys.

We had a night at this hotel. This is clean and breakfast is good. They have an ice machine which is very helpful. It is not a quiet hotel.

This place has a cracker barrel right next to it and 2other restaurants in walking distance. And the rooms are quaint.

The oulets by the bed did not work, the phone did not work, the light on the desk flickered, the drawer was missing on the dresser, the water cut OFF while showering, the remote barely worked and our key had to be revalidated.

This hotel was excellent except that the elevator was out of order and I was placed on the 3rd floor. I am 67 and my stay was for 4 nights. It was awful and that is why I gave a 3 star rating. Other than that the hotel was great and the location was awesome.

This hotel punches above it's weight class. Clean rooms/beds. We had a 4th floor room over looking the interstate, with mountain views behind that, and a wedding reception downstairs and the fishin pig having outdoor music on their patio the night of our stay. You couldn't hear anything with the a/c unit on. 2 dinning options across the parking lot. Hotel breakfast had everything we wanted. Waffles, cereal, bacon, eggs, microwavable breakfast sandwiches. We ate during the last hour of breakfast and they were still bringing out fresh items to restock what was getting low.

The room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and quiet at night. Good area for restaurants. Breakfast was ok. The eggs were cold but they had a waffle maker.

Staff is super friendly, but rooms were average and bedding was difficult to sleep. Our shower curtain was broke so water was all over floor after showing. Hot breakfast was pretty good, lots offered. Pool area did not look like the pictures, neither did the courtyard area.

Check in took 10 mins…man was not friendly at all. Barely looked up from computer. After loading luggage cart, discovered totally flat tier. Struggled to get into lobby. Same gentleman had little reaction when informed. Got another cart and dis nor offer to assist with transfer. AC in room did not work, maintenance came up and flipped the plug breaker. Old, dated motel. Bed uncomfortable. Cobwebs in windowsills and corners. Pool dirty, no towels. Breakfast only bright spot.

At least the sheets and bath room was clean. The carpet was the only drawback. How hard is it to vacuum between the beds and the night stand or in the corners and along the walls…..

The hotel was “tired” looking. Staff was friendly.

Although they state renovations were done there is still room for additional improvements to the rooms (need to lose wallpaper and get adjustable shower head). The furniture (to include bed) was comfortable and room was a large space.

This hotel is now my “go to” when I visit the area.

The property seems well maintained and pretty clean. We found a spider in our room when we first walked in, which for my wife wasn't the best of starts.AC struggled to keep the room cool but otherwise it was nice.

Our room was very large and the bed was nice and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and even though there was a local prom being held at the venue, we were not able to hear and were able to get a very good night's sleep. The staff was very friendly. We will likely return to this location when traveling through the area in the future

The first night one of our party went in to take a shower. The floor of the bathroom, the commode and the bathtub looked dirty. When she showered the water would not drain out and the faucet was wobbly. We told the front desk and they were very happy to move us. We moved to another room and was totally satisfied.

check in was great. very friendly staff. room was nice. remote and tv were fidgetty having to hold remote exactly in the right spot to operate tv was annoying but not terrible. indoor pool was closed for maintenance which was one of the reasons i chose this hotel. breakfast was free and really good. sheets werent clean and had black ashes, hair etc. drawer on night stand had plastic tube and wrapper from blunt shell packaging. bed was very firm so woke up multiple times. overall not a bad experience but not great.

We are not disabled but we were given a room and bath for the disabled. This makes the room more spacious. The room is very close to breakfast. Pleasant surprises do happen.

All of the staff that we encountered was friendly and accomodating. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept great.

Overall, we were very pleased with our room and our stay. If I had to provide any negative feedback it would be this: Hotel, room, breakfast, everything suggested a more upscale experience. Our room had a living room which we really enjoyed. But we were very disappointed in the cheapness of the showerhead. Something you would find in a cheap hotel, was kinda disappointed. I needed a bottle of water so I went to the vending machines/ice machines. The area on the side of the ice machine had a lot of build up from water/condensation (like limescale maybe?) so it made it look dirty. My water at home does the same thing so I get it but you gotta keep at it to keep it under control. I was actually hesitant to use the ice because of it. Other than that, friendly staff, breakfast was amazing and overall a great stay. Plan to stay here again! Hopefully the pool is working!!

Located parallel to a busy highway and beside a busy interstate, there was absolutely no noise from outside. Hotel was well occupied but there was no noise in the hallways during my stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your travels bring you thru the area.

Hotel is very convenient to I-64. Check in was very fast. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious, but it is showing signs of wear and tear. Breakfast was mediocre.

Great place friendly staff, Continental breakfast was good especially the waffles you make your own. Indoor pool nice, good place to take your dog, with dog area plenty of grass and free poop bags. Cracker Barrel, steak house, and Mexican restaurant walking distance almost same parking lot. Will definitely return. No extra charges for dog. Just please pick up the poop, nobody wants to step in it !!!!

Hotel is okay but we were given a room for people with disabilities that did not work well for us: shower not functional, tv aside the bed, no suitable desk and lack of electric plugs. Overall room displacement designed for people with disabilities should not be offered unless you require it
