Clean, well maintained property. Staff friendly and the room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast had many choices and was good.

The floor was sticky; the mini fridge was so nasty (and sticky); the toilet seat had urine on it; there was long black hair on the toilet, towels, and in the sink; and the shampoo and body wash dispensers were completely empty. The second dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. Also, if you're looking for a treadmill/fitness center, beware that it's only open certain hours--I was kicked out at 10 PM, which is a first for me.

Overall good stay. Some basic features like filtered water fountain didn't work and the hot tub wasn't the cleanest. But the property otherwise was well maintained. The room was spacious, the fireplace nice and the jacuzzi tub fantastic. The staff was professional and extremely helpful. The breakfast was standard.

This is a great facility. Near the BMX track for many events. Driving close to downtown eateries and great hardware store.

The breakfast was run of the mill Sysco. Paper thin walls, every time a guest closed a door in the hall it would wake you up, the bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows seemed worn out and no additional linen was provided in closet.

The hotel was clean and quiet and we couldn’t hear the noise from the freeway, even though it was nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast had quite a few things to chose from and was pretty good.

Aside from that, this hotel was great- rooms were lovely, breakfast was fantastic with eggs bacon etc. We had rooms with river views that were just lovely and you can crack the window open for fresh air. Outside was a fantastic walking path that we made use of. Staff was very accommodating and there was even a convenience “store” in the lobby. Overall hotel was wonderful just needed a little more attention to detail regarding cleanliness.

Our stay was sufficient and the property was clean. My one key cash was not applied however and I had to pay a higher amount.

This was our 3rd time in a 5-6 week span and it was the least favorite one. The bed we had was so firm it was hard to sleep, both mornings there was not coffee except for a machine in lobby. With all that, We will stay again & normally this is our favorite place when coming through town. Worth staying here even when they have a bad day!

Everything was clean--my biggest consideration Definitely enjoyed the spa tub in our room and the gas fireplace. Loved being on the river and had great access to the riverfront trail.

Staff is always welcoming and helpful. We’ve been there 3 times in 5 weeks. Last visit they had no coffee pot working but all hands were trying to fix it. They do have a machine in lobby to do pre mix drinks. Only thing I wish was a daily thing or at least busy weekends is bacon added to buffet. Sausage is the only protein normally. Someone like me cannot eat it. I asked last time and the lady was more than polite and brought me some and put some out. We will always stay here when traveling through.

A beautiful hotel. The beds were pillow top and comfortable, the room was nicely cleaned, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic with a big assortment of delicious food, and the staff were wonderful. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, we didn't use them, but they looked very nice! Family friendly! Stay here!

Gym was fine

Drunk people in pool area vomited in pool so it had to be closed. Breakfast closed sooner than most hotels on weekend 9:30. Hotel was otherwise clean and we had a pleasant stay. Room was nice with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. backside has a view of a FORD dealership so I would recommend the river view instead.

There was maintenance being done on the property. A carpet was left on the ground of the mezzanine entrance. I accidentally drove over the carpet. The general manager verbally abused me and my son for the accident. Once I was checked in, an hour later Expedia called me to notify me that my booking was no longer being honored and I had been put on the "Denied Renters list". We were forced to find another hotel. I notified Best Western corporate and nothing was done. Unfortunate circumstance. The general manager of this property clearly has a power complex. Nice hotel, negative experience. Hope this helps.

Room was very nice! Clean and spotless. Staff was very nice.

Found out when i got there that when i booked the room the date defaulted to the same day i booked the room. Was advised my stadd this has occurred with other guests. Advised to email GM for refund for night i didn't stay. Lucky they had a room for me rhat night. So far I've emailed the GM twice with no response. Would be a higher review if this had been resolved. Staff on site were great.

River view faces a large building. Pool and hot tub weren’t working. Room is dated. Awkward long check in, when we just wanted to get some sleep at midnight not listen to front staff talking for 20 minutes about random facts he thought were interesting instead of giving us the hotel keys and let us sleep! Dude, no offence but we were tired and you wouldn’t let us get to our room, you kept talking for sooo long about a million things in your life that had nothing to do with us. Super awkward forced interaction.

Asked for real glasses so we could enjoy a glass of wine: nope, we have no glasses here. Big nasty stain on sheets. Requested 30 minute late check out: sure, “but if you exceed that we will charge you $50.” Best Western is one of the only options in town, but for $142 I expect more.

Room was good and spacious. Appreciated competitive rate. Shower head water flow seemed very poor and had issues with only luke warm water. Hot tub had lots of foam decided not to get in. I had hoped to enjoy the hot tub. Breakfast was decent but nothing special.

The property was nice, but was difficult to access due to nearby construction. I had a question about my reservation and called the hotel a week before my arrival. I spoke with a manager who I found to be smug and condescending when I explained my issue. Because of this, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I will not ding the property for things out of their control. This is a lovely place that has a major construction project underway next door. Traffic has been re-routed and getting into the parking lot is very confusing until you know. The hotel itself is beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, price is fair. Highly recommend!

I was just making a quick trip to Portland to have some parts rebuilt. Jumping across the river saved me some money. The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly. It was a great experience.

There was construction everywhere. No notice of the detour to park in the hotel. The mattress of the extra bed we requested was awful. Nobody could sleep on those hard springs. The potatoes during breakfast had too much of some season we couldn’t eat them. Staff was not friendly.

Staff was of good humor and effective. Room is adequate, a bit “bare bones”, towels small so no one would want to steal any.

this was a great value. Very clean and the staff was very professional. The breakfast was nice and the location was a great base to explore the columbia river gorge area.

Staff was limited, one person. She was all about rules. Must be they've had problems. Room was clean and updated. Parking was free. Stairway and balcony to rooms were dirty, railing needed paint. Best thing was the ocean view, right on the ocean. Big window in kitchenette.Older motel yet the price was reasonable. Took some great pictures of the high tide and the large arched rock was awesome.

Terrible stay

Overall the hotel is clean and staff were nice. It was quiet even though they were sold out. Late checkout is an extra $15 and a bottle of wine was over $50. Beds were comfortable and parking was good

Dont use a debt card they will hold your money way longer then the "released" when you check out. And no it wasnt my bank that was holding it. I called my bank and the system said best western was holding it. I called BW customer service not the hotel and said the same thing. The front desk when i arrived said it didnt matter if i used a debt or credit card for the accidental hold. Also if you have OCD dont go here the paneling for the elevator is looks like something from a tim burton movie. Same with the electric plug fixtures and other items around the hotel. After 10pm they didnt enforce the quiet time with children running up and down the hallways, drunk guest extremely loud in the hallways, loud music blasting. If you go to get some sleep for your next leg of your road trip or an important meeting the next day. Dont go here. For a lot of money room stay. Not worth it. Also right now in September 2025 they are doing construction around the hotel, dont use gps to get there. There are small detour signs that take you down and around the convention center and boat ramp to enter in the back of the hotel.

Not the 1st time I stayed. But I recommend nothing below anyone. 4th floor or move on to the next hotel. People above us stomped around all night the first night I called nothing happened our first morning. They were stomping around at 7 AM. Next night they’re stomping all around could hardly fall asleep and stomping around at 6 AM. Complete BS and they did nothing about it. I was so tired and asked for a late check out and charge me $50 to try to get an extra two hours of sleep when I believe the housekeepers came in stomping all around. So no! 4th floor maybe but try to be respectful if someone’s below you

We stayed 4 nights. One night the people beside us had their TV on loud ALL NIGHT. Told the front desk the next morning, but they didn't seem to care.

The floor lamp switch was broken and there were limited outlets and no USB ports. The bed was comfortable and despite its age the room was clean. Breakfast was just okay. The staff were friendly.

I recommended having a car in this area, I didn't rent a car and I was relying on Uber for my rides since it was a quick trip for me, a 1.8 mile ride cost me about $40, and I still had to wait 18 minutes for the uber to get there from 15 miles away.

We booked two rooms, one for us and one for our son, who met us in Washington for his son’s graduation! The hotel was perfectly located for us, to see the Washougal area and to drive to Hawkinson High school for the graduation! We loved walking the river walk, hiking up the Beacon Rock and deriving along the Columbia river! We would totally stay here again and the bonus of breakfast each day and parking with our room, was a plus!

Liked everything, except the shower water pressure is very low, probably has a flow restrictor on it. Had maintenance check it out even, no change.

Very clean and easy access

We did a staycation here and had a great time. It was super clean, quiet and not overcrowded. The only negative was I forgot my electric toothbrush and they tossed it instead of reaching out or hanging onto it for a couple of days. Normally I wouldn’t care but it wasn’t a cheap one.

The room was amazing with the view, jetted tub and fireplace. Was the perfect escape.

I like that this hotel is by the Columbia River where we picked up relatives that were on a 10 day river cruise. The rooms are clean and up to date. Breakfast was very good. We had a very good dinner at Puffin Cafe on the river and only a short walk from the hotel.

The manager and staff was excellent! They were very helpful and they really made our anniversary special!

This is a nice property and felt like a safe location. Rooms were 'functional' and 'clean' but could hardly be described as any more than that - Fine for a one-night stay before going somewhere else. My only real quibble was they had Fox news on the lobby TV and in the breakfast room. That meant we had to keep watching Donald Trump insult other heads of state over and over again.

The front desk staff and the weekend cleaning staff were fantastic! They accommodated our needs and whacky wedding weekend schedule perfectly. Our only complaint was with the water temperature for showering and sink. The temps were too low And are significant.

Bugs in the shower and hair on the walls

Room smelled like smoke and feet and had stains on the carpet everywhere. Bed was made poorly and it looked like the house keeping lady was tweaking hard. Shower had low pressure and leaked out the bathtub faucet and there were finger prints on all the mirrors. Location was great other than transients living in the parking area. I’d highly recommend somewhere else if you want a hassle-free experience that feels safe and clean.

The complimentary breakfast had a great variety of options. The room and facility overall was very clean. A well-lit parking lot. i liked that the double queen room also had a seating alcove by the windows with a couch and a reading chair. lamps had multiple brightness settings. it doesn’t have hand held shower nozzles and the water pressure was a little lower than i would have liked but that was made up for by the hair dryer, microwave and 1/2 fridge.

I don’t like that I paid for a room then show up on site and be charged an additional fee that is supposedly refundable which it wasn’t ever refunded and the room was left spotless.

This property is getting old. Old technology as far as TV and remote. There are no USB ports to plug in phone cord to charge. Most people don't travel with the electrical portion that plugs into the wall. I had to go purchase one at local store. Top sheet on bed was ripped.

When we first arrived for check-in, there was an irate customer pacing and yelling in the lobby. The manager on duty was extremely professional in getting the customer out of the lobby as to not disturb the other guests. He handled the situation with grace swiftness which made me feel better about staying there. After dealing with him they were able to check us in quickly. The room was great and the rest of our stay was fabulous and relaxing.
