Clean room

The first room we were in smelled like cigarettes and had burns in the bedspread, the second room he showed us smelled like cat pee, the third was a little better. If I could have gotten my money back I would have slept in the car

Nothing Rooms not ready, rooms were on different floors, not near each other, as requested. I had to try twice for checking in, no one at front desk. Think the guy was sleeping in an office behind counter. I actually left and returned to try the second time. Outdated furniture and bedding. Burn holes in comforter. Very leary to leave my family members while I ran out for food. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT! FILTHY! VERY LOW CLASS !

the area had stores and restaurants close by cleanliness issues with room ,bottom floor room window broken wouldn't lock no screens front desk checked said they looked it .. was a lie did not lock window did not lock at all told them again lied said they looked it checked again window doesn't lock..left room due to being dirty and windows not looking front desk lied to me on three different incidents wouldn't recommend still got charged . tried talking to front desk they didn't want to hear what i had to say and denied any issues. i do have pictures but trying to be a good person and reply in a respectful manner

Quite outdated and barely maintained. Overpriced for what it was.

Good hot water in shower. AC,ok low toilet paper. No tissues. Bug on wall. Smelled bad. Breakfast options poor or actually empty. No check out staff.

Dirty room, patrons in the lobby exposing themself, “breakfast” consisted of bananas, white bread and a beverage dispenser labeled “orange juice” but it was a neon color.

This is an absolutely no frills hotel. If you just need a bed and will spend no more time than needed , this is the place.

No toilet paper had to ask for a roll. Took four keywords to finally get one to work. Toilet bowl has a large rust stain. One bedspread has a quarter size burn hole in the middle of it. The phone was filthy. The screen on the window was pulled out at the top. We had to work on the window to get it to lock. I have pictures of all this. The man working was rude. Told my husband to tell me they are a budget hotel. There is no business area, but it is advertised on the website. No breakfast, even though it is advertised three times on the website. First morning part of gallon of milk and orange juice, one slice of cheese, two pieces of bread, and a thermos of coffee for the whole hotel to share. Working was mouthy about us asking about breakfast. The next day, there were a few bananas and some cereal and four more pieces of bread added. I also have pictures of the first day breakfast choices. This place needs a lot of improvements. The room was not cleaned when we left for the entire day the first day. This place was so nasty I got disinfectant wipes and wiped down everything.

The carpet was damp upon entry. There was trash under the bed. There were multiple stains on the sheets and pillow cases. Family found the appliances to have sticky substances on them including phones and hair dryer. Cleanliness of the room.

I had a bug in my room and some hair in the tub but otherwise pretty good stay.

Here to work. Internet didn’t work. Switched rooms. Toilet running (only went number 1 lol) it’s after midnight not worth calling desk. Only been here 2 hours

Worst hotel experience of my life. Spent 3 nights and no service. We had to beg fie towels. I dumped the trash in the hallway. There’s more, but just stay anywhere else

Customer in next room assaulted another guest. Cops called. Very scary

My reservation was for a king bed. They didn't have one. There was no breakfast. I checked out after one night and I couldn't get my money back for the 2nd night. He said it was prepaid so I couldn't get so I couldn't get credit back on that night. I' never stay there again.

Very reasonable ,prices, clean,good location

The front entrance smelled like cigarette smoke and wet carpet. The room was very old and not up to date. The only thing that was decent was the beds. They were decent but everything else was janky.

There were blood stains on the comforter and layers of grime on the phone so my sister and I took my 5 year old and left to go stay at the Holiday inn. I mean for the price, I knew it wasn't going to be the best, but when we saw the blood stains, we were done. Never in my life have I seen that at a hotel.

Coffee maker in my room was dirty inside. The man behind the desk was nice, but it took 30 minutes to get a room key. The window was dirty. The hall had a funny smell to it. The bed was very clean though.

1st room they tried to pit us in was very dirty. 2nd room was less dirty and smelled from someone smoking in it. Most of the hotel was empty but they left all those rooms dirty. I was very allergic to the bed. I would never stay here again.

There was no plug for the bathtub and no cold drinks in the machine and no hair dryer in the bathroom and no continental breakfast

Booked a room and the hotel never got the reservation so I’m sleeping in my car cause I don’t have the money for another hotel!

The room was spotless but the windows were filthy. The decor was very dated, like 80's, but that didn't bother me. I was just going to sleep there. Bed relatively comfy and LOTS of channels on the TV. I did not use the coffee maker; thought I'd drink the lobby coffee instead so the maid wouldn't have to clean the coffee maker. The lobby coffee was like sludge at 8 am, undrinkable so I went to McDonald's. No big deal but now I wish I had made coffee in my room. The only negative was that the lady that at checkout was MEAN. When I came in, a different person asked me if I was only one person and I said yes--she asked if I wanted one bed or two. I said whatever was easier for her. She looked down at the computer and gave me a room towards the back of the hotel, which I liked, because I could bring the dog in the back door right into my room. In the morning, when I was already out of my room and had everything in the car, I came into the lobby to get a cup of coffee (again, so I didn't dirty the coffee maker) and this older lady said "you lied about your dog". I said no, I put it on the notes on the reservation -- it is a pet friendly hotel -- and that is why I assumed they gave me the room that they did, right by the back door. She said I cheated and I lied and blah blah blah and didn't pay for the dog and they would have given me a different room (yeah this lady probably a dirty one?) So I poured out the gross coffee and left.

We were traveling with my father and I got him his own room. We also requested first floor. Upon check in, they gave us rooms next to eaxh other, which was extremely helpful.

I was assuming for the price that it would have been a nicer place to stay. It was very outdated. Hair all over the sheets and bathtub. Looks like nothing has been done to the place in 20 years including the wore out mattresses.

The hotel was not full, so it was quiet. Not sure why we ended up on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was lame-cereal and waffles and coffee and that was it! I don't remember if I chose the beds, but ended up in a room with a double for husband and me. Bed seemed older, with dent in the middle. We'd stay there again.

This hotel was the worst experience. The facility was old and musty. Our linens were stained and gross. Breakfast options were a pot of coffee, a jug of milk, and a cereal dispenser that was half empty and only offered cornflakes. To top it off when we got home they double charged us for our pet fee so I am having to dispute that with my credit card company. Steer clear of this one!

This is a combined review for 2 different rooms. I reserved and checked into a room with a single bed. Upon entry into the ground-floor room, I noticed a rather unpleasant unknown odor, and when I tried to close the window curtain, one side had about 4 inches unhooked from the rod, and it would not close all the way, leaving a gap that would allow anyone on the outside to look in, so the room lacked privacy. I complained to the desk about these 2 issues and he came to the room to check. He could not close the window curtain either, so he told me I could switch to the room across the hall, which had 2 beds as they did not have another room available with one bed. That room smelled fresh and the curtain closed as it should. I had no complaints about anything in that room.

This hotel met my needs. It was nothing fancy, a little dated, but I was looking for an inexpensive hotel in Washington, IL that was clean and comfortable. This accomplished this. The staff was friendly, and helpful. I would come back here.

Very quiet hotel very good for the price.

If the only thing you care about is a comfortable bed, you will be ok for a good price. The first room we were given, there was a bag of garbage left in it. Gave us a second room for another reason and it smelled so bad. Musty cigarette smoke. Out of tissues and the hotel lotion they provide was half empty like someone already used it. VERY VERY basic room. Appeared dirty, toilet stains, bathroom floors etc. Loud talking and people in the parkig lot until 10 pm. I just needed one night no frills but it was rundown. The breakfast was 2 types of cereal, coffee one yogurt left OJ and milk and a bowl of bananas. But the only good thing is the bed was comfortable. So since the bed was comfortable and there were also things not so favorable, I gave it a middle score. Will pay a few extra dollars next time and stay down the street.

Horrible. The entire building smelled. The odor in the room was mold, musty and dog pee. The towels and bed coverings were dingy brown/yellow stained. The ‘breakfast’ was cold cereal, waffles and COOKIES. Yep little Debbie oatmeal cream filled cookies. No fruit, no yogurt, no hard boiled eggs. Skip this one. I’ll not be back.

Desk guy should at least learn how to make coffee! It was crunchy. Breakfast was a joke. Do not recommend

This was my second stay here; room was super clean and actually pretty spacious. Bed seemed to be rather new and was quite comfortable. The old microwave was pretty noisy but it worked fine so, no big deal. The place is easy to find, there's places to eat plus a grocery store right there, it's clean, it's comfortable, and the price is favorable. I will likely stay here again, should I be in the area again next year.

It was your standard budget hotel. The room was clean; however, it smells badly like old wet socks (like in a gym locker room). Very musty smelling. I was in room #121.

AC worked good. Cleanliness as good as it could get for a motel that old. Old fashioned tub, walk-in would be welcome by older guests. TV worked good.

Had to make a last minute reservation due to a mistake in dates that I had made. The owners were super nice. The room was clean. Loved the amenities. Pleasantly surprised to find a good sized fridge and microwave in the room!

Found syringe on grass as soon as we got out of the car, ac was noisy and outside light was able to come in the window. Curtains to small to keep the light out. Didn't sleep well

Convenient to Peoria, hotel was clean and our room was nice. The breakfast was smaller than I've had at other store 8s and the cereal was stale, but it was good enough to suffice the beginning of our day. The management was efficient.

I use to live in Washington, I stayed there cause its quite and safe!

The shower head has not been cleaned in forever and had layers of soap scum on it. The room was surprisingly comfortable and seemed to be recently updated. The ac worked great and the bed was super comfotable. It would have been great if the stench in the room wasnt so bad, the room was cleaner, and the shower more appealing.

It was quiet and clean when I was there.It was also not that far from were I had to go to visit and it was a good price.

This was a very comfortable place to stay. While the building is dated, the rooms are updated and quite nice. The hotel itself is clean, and very convenient to food and shopping.

Clean- no frills hotel

The location was convenient for us. The only breakfast was coffee and juices and boxed muffins and dingdongs. No water anywhere.

My favorite thing about this hotel was that it was run so well in spite of it being inexpensive. Clean rooms, courteous staff, generous amenities; everything worked.

Saw roaches climbing up the wall 1 hour after i checked in. I grabbed my bags and checked out immediately and canceled my reservation.

Good location for me, good price, clean, friendly accommodating staff. However the TV was not functioning. It was too late for me to bother alerting staff so I did without. Main problem was that although appearing ,maintained and clean, my room had the unpleasant odor of cologne from previous guest - maybe it had been spilled but should have been eliminated for new guests. Not good. My stay was the night of 10-8-22.

We were able to check in early and everything was perfect.

Property was clean and everything seemed to work properly. Staff was not overly friendly but not rude either. Close to eating with a Taco Bell next store. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Property had bedbugs and the people who owned it refused to a knowledge it even though beds were piled outside being replaced due to bed bugs. Window was rigged to be broken into with a dime shoved into the locking mechanism and the A/C had white fuzzy mold growing in it.

It was clean comfy and amazing for us we’ve been traveling for three stright days over 2000 miles and it was the only good hotel we found to stay 10/10 would recommend staying here!

The check in experience was lovely. I passed through town with a friend and my cat- it was simple and our non-smoking room was clean (except perhaps the old carpet). The hallway smells like old cigarettes, which is very unfortunate but we had a pleasant stay in our room. There are restaurants close by.

Our stay was enjoyable and was in a convenient spot with little travel time to our destinations during our stay.

They had bed bugs, and when I brought them dead ones on a piece of paper that had been biting up a 2 year old. They called me a liar, so I went packed up got them a video of the living bed bugs crawling on there pillows and they still called me a liar and said I won’t get a refund

Overall an average experience, but for a below average price I maybe should have lowered my expectations.

For a one night stay it was good. Had a good size refrigerator and a microwave. Also a table. Good clean place. Slept well on mattress. Continental breakfast with good hot coffee in am.

The staff were very pleasant and the hotel is exactly what you should be expecting to get from a 2 star hotel here. Not busy, nothing fancy, but it's okay.

The location was good, and the grounds, and the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately the bearings in our heater blower motor were extremely noisy, and the blower motor needs replacing.

I didn't expect more than a bed to sleep in and that was provided. Two towels had black stains on them, perhaps a bearing issue with the dryer. Minimal aesthetics, but sufficient for my needs. Breakfast was late being set-up.

I made a direct reservation with front desk. I needed to cancel and because hotels.com intervened without my permission, I received no refund or credit to change date for the following week.

Was awesome cost for value. Wish the heat in the room needs to be a little warmer. But otherwise was really nice had an awesome expanded breakfast in the morning.

My husband and I had finished an ultra marathon in the area early, and thr management allowed us to check in early without charge. It was a life saver and so great to be able to settle in and shower without having to wait 5 hours.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Every time I left my room my room key wouldn't work and I couldn't get back in - they went out of their way to help me and take care of it.

The smoking rooms were next to the non-smoking rooms. Our non-smoking room was surrounded by smoking rooms and our bathroom smelled like smoke from the vent. It was a cheap room and I didn’t expect a lot but I did expect to not smell smoke in a non-smoking room. Seems like they could cluster the rooms better to avoid that problem.

The hotel was pretty out dated and dirty looking. I booked a non smoking room got a smoking room it smelled horrible all night. Stains on bed linens slept with hooded sweatshirt on over my head everything felt so dirty. The first room I was given was in disarray the mattresses were standing up on the walls. Probably won’t stay here when I’m in town again
