There was a noise in the room sometimes but I didn’t think anything of it, but then last day the headboard shook violently and a clawing sound was there. I think there’s a fat rat under the bed

It was very close to bus routes and the metro was 15 min walk away. The Tokoma D40 bus could also take you to the metro station. No refrigerator in the room.

I can safely say that the choice of this motel almost ruined my trip. I’ve never stayed at a motel before, so maybe these complaints are misplaced but I just have to let people know what they’re getting into. This motel reeked of cigarettes from the moment I walked in. The room I stayed in had a cigarette smell AND my bedsheet also reeked of cigarettes. Clean clothes that I never wore during my stay there had to be washed upon returning home due to the bad smell of cigarettes on them from being laid on the bed. The parking lot, while small, is easy to navigate. The staff was neither rude nor pleasant. Just very transactional, if that makes sense. The bathroom had a bug crawling along the sink. The walls are thin.

AC was not cooling well toilet seat broken roaches n stink bugs cracked and stained tub had 5 people o ly slept 4. 1 chair no table no wifi coffee bar was a joke. Very disappointing.

Coffee stains on the floors, food & liquid on the elevator floor, dropped food at the elevator doors on the 2nd floor. We were out all day, and the food was still there when we got back. Apparently you aren't allowed to smoke, yet that's all you smell in the hallway.

Didn’t use A/C. Property was warn and damaged. The floors were new. Phone Didn’t work and the TV had one channel. Home shopping network. Patrons were a bit noise and yelli g in the halls. Security seemed good. Maid service was good. Won't stay there again. Price and availability was the only thi g going for it. Was on a good bus line to get to attractions.

They were professional and courteous. They answered all my questions and willing to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Most everything. To get on and off the bed something under the bed made a very loud noise that woke everybody up.

There’s no real lobby, just a run-down, poorly maintained property that reeks of a horrible, unbearable smell. The staff was completely useless and unprofessional. The room looked NOTHING like the pictures. It was filthy stained sheets, dirty walls, and even marks from smashed bugs/roaches. The smell inside was even worse smoke, weed, mold, and stale air. It was so bad we didn’t even feel comfortable touching anything. We checked in at 1 AM and left within minutes because staying there was not an option. I honestly don’t understand how Expedia even lists this place it’s completely misleading. We didn’t stay at all and still only got one night refunded. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Avoid at all costs.

Dog friendly I couldn’t use phone (no sound at all) or the TV (showed a picture of fuzzy screen) the entire stay; the bed was hard as a rock (being disabled with titanium in neck and tailbone) couldn’t sleep properly while there; then the peephole had something in it (posted picture), not sure exactly what it was, but I wasn’t gonna touch it; plus, when I showered I had to have the water to straight hot; also, as you can see in the picture of the window-frame there was a hole to the outside; then when I talked to the guy about issues, he stated, “nothing he could do and no other rooms available”; then it ended up being left at that for my entire stay.

Nothing I got the room for a client. The staff called my client homeless before she called the police on her. She wasn’t expecting I would show up to aid my client. But to her surprise I did! She looked terrified when I entered the hotel demanding my money back. She issued a refund but I’m unclear if it was issued to the correct card. I will be contacting corporate office!!!! You don’t treat people badly! Especially on a fully paid room! Nothing

The front desk staff were great. I wish I could review them separately so I could leave them 5 stars. The place itself initially was not as bad as other reviews described. My room seemed pretty clean with no bugs. The sink was not cleaned, however, and had hair left in it. The toilet paper roll was also not changed. The mattress and pillows were so firm they hurt my neck to sleep on. Otherwise, the room was fine. Just small and a bit dark. The second night is when things changed. There was a couple in the hallway screaming (literally) for hours. They were fighting, naked in the hallway, slamming doors, etc. This went on for most of the night. Not only could I not sleep (and neither could the entire hall I'm sure), but I also felt extremely unsafe. It was not worth saving money by staying here.

The room was very cold due to the bed blocking the heat from warming the room. None of the wall sockets worked I had to try and charge phone in the bedroom.

It was close to everything It was just not what you want in a room. It stank like smoke everywhere except the room. The bathroom had stuck on stains on tub and toilet. The bedding was paper thin, holes, and no fridge or microwave. Also, saw a roach so would never ever stay here again.

I hope that my Reservations can be effective starting today at 6711 Georgia Avnue NW Washington,DC 20010. I can submit the weekly Check to the Front Desk. I am in FHA Case Ref. With Housing and Urban Development(HUD) and FHA (Federal Housing Administration) in Link with G6-Hospitalty,Motel 6. ADAMA SALL. It would be better if Motel 6 accepts my Checks.supported by the Financial Management of the U.S. Treasury.

This place should be closed down. It’s infested and rodents. It’s falling apart and they’re still charging people cause they can get away with it. I mentioned something to management in the staff and they move to another room only to find another rodent crawling around in my laptop. I will post videos and pictures of these. The place is dirty and they don’t seem to care who stays there. Even while I was there, a man fell on the steps with the liquor ball and broke his leg. It was literally something out of the nightmare stay at this place. I asked for a refund and I was told I couldn’t because I already switched rooms so I am posting what I seen during my stay and calling the health department.

I was on the 3rd floor. They have 1 microwave on the 1st floor. No refrigerators. The phone in my roon did not have a dial tone from friday ,sat,sun,mon.

The hotel is old and dated. The were two outlets in the room and both were worn out and wouldn't hold the charging block needed to charge our devices. The staff was rude and unaccommodating. Registered as two adults and one child in a double room and the didn't want to provide bath towels and wash clothes for all three guests. I would never stay there again!

It is as if the staff didnt even go in and clean after the people before us. Maybe a secret message from the past? If you think the wall is bad, wait till you spot the baseboard – it has a mystery wax splatter, more so a mystery fluid that we have yet to figure out for sure what it is. And don’t even get me started on the bathroom. I’m pretty sure someone used the tub as an ashtray. But no worries, there’s more fun: A hair perfectly placed on the top towel – just in case you wanted to start your day with a surprise. The window had clearly never been cleaned, not in this century anyway, and I’m guessing the surrounding area had been left in a time capsule. All in all, this place is a "surprise" – if you love discovering new ways hotels can surprise you with dirt and neglect, this place is for you. Maybe I’ll come back... but only if I’m on a reality TV show about survival. Avoid if you value your sanity.

For the price, it’s good enough to sleep in if you’re very tired, but the environment is not the best. It truly does feel like a motel. Bedsheets are not clean. There’s no exhaust in the bathroom. The toilet does not flush properly. Again, it is what it is for the price.

We just got off work with our child it was a convience yet they decided to try to push us away, as well as tried to make us pay again when money was already taken out of our account. I had to have my door card rescanned every day. The room had bugs, The cable was very limited. Only one small table and one very uncomfortable chair. The tub was very smooth so taking a shower was dangerous. The site has only one cart. The air conditioner was noisy and did not work very well. The mattress was not good.

I had to have my door card rescanned every day. The room had bugs, The cable was very limited. Only one small table and one very uncomfortable chair. The tub was very smooth so taking a shower was dangerous. The site has only one cart. The air conditioner was noisy and did not work very well. The mattress was not good.

You get what you pay for. it was the cheapest hotel in the area but the general cleanliness and state of the property was worse than I expected. The photos online made it seam a lot better than it actually is.

I was told they were sold out however I was charged for my room and traveled over a hour to get there just to be sent away. And I was not refunded

Room was not made up when I arrived. Beer cans strewn across the floor. No other room was available and no cleaner was on duty. Elevator smelled of marijuana and lots of unsavoury types lurking in the hallways. 'Hotel' was overall in a very sorry state.

The outer corridors smelled strongly of marijuana. To the point that I literally got sick, only one channel of the television worked, roach in the bathroom, key would not work after returning to my room. Front desk personnel was really nice.

After I told them I couldn’t stay due to mainly my asthma, they would not refund me the 2 night stay. Please do not stay here and Expedia this shouldn’t even be an option on your list.

I went there before & it wasn’t that way. I was on another floor which was quiet. People living free there through subsidy are not mindful of those who pay to stay temporarily.

Bed was horrible, toilet had sewer smell drifting up from it and AC would not cool room. TV was fine. Best word to describe it - dingy.

The room is in terrible need of an upgrade. Half of the baseboards are absent of any paint or finish. The room is very reminiscent of a college dorm room. The bed was quite comfortable tho, and since it was just a “lay over” for one night, completely tolerable.

The room I stayed in was very clean I was happy to see the floor was not carpeted. I would rate my room a 8.

You get what you pay for. This place does not have breakfast in the morning. Washing machine and dryer are located in the lobby. The only ice machine and microwave for guests are also on the lobby floor. The only time you hear your neighbors will be in the hallway walking to or from room. Despite the room facing the main road it was very quiet. Walking or a short drive to many restaurants or lounges.

Thank you very much to the receptionist who checked us in on 4/28 night; she was very nice & kindly gave us a booklet for closest fast foods places & how to get there.

The room was damp, visibly worn out, scarred, the door full of cigarette burns, the sheets clean but stained, the AC very noisy, only the functioning bathroom made it viable. The staff was nice, but the residents did not give a good impression. All in all, never want to go there again.

The motel room wasn't very comforting. Windows didn't lock, lots of burn marks everywhere, no blankets on bed, homeless person trying to stay there

Hotel was completely run-down. Sheets were stained, bathroom door was warped and cracked. On top of that, despite listing and advertising free coffee, it was not available "due to COVID." Every other hotel I've stayed at has managed to continue coffee service, plus it's been over two years, so they could change the listing to remove the free coffee if it's a really a COVID problem. False advertising

This was the worst stay in a hotel !!! First of all it was not clearly marked as a Motel 6, only from one side ! Second it was very small and rundown. The bathroom was so small I had to turn sideways to use the toilet. I used to do chambermaiding in hotels and every single one wheather it was a 5 star or 3 star hotel had a comforter on the bed. NOT this place ! If I could give it 0 stars I would..I also found cockroaches!!! The worst type of critter to find in a room... I will NEVER stay at that hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Nice, clean hotel overall. I had an issue with my thermostat was not working well. It wasn’t putting out heat. Also, the tv connection was in and out.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Walking distance to train. Comfortable bed. Older but very clean room. Reasonable rates.

Solid location but too expensive for something so basic, zero amenities whatsoever. TV didn't even work. Toilet had trouble flushing.

We had a horrible experience with the front desk. They showed the middle finger to my girlfriend whenever she asked for another key since she locked it in the room and couldn’t get inside.

It wasn’t a good experience. For some reason the clerk could not locate my reservation even after showing him confirmation. He then proceeded to say no more rooms were available for me. And started taking calls. I asked him could he pls help he said to contact hotels. Com. I had my 1 month old kid with me so I told him just pls give me anything available. He finally gave me a room with a broken air conditioner. And leaking walls. I have never been treated so unfairly

Room old - cracked window glass - but all that was needed was a cheap place that accepted pets for all of us to sleep for the night

Bathroom was dirty, employees were rude, room was hot and the AC didn’t work. Asked for extra towels and none was ever brought. The ice tasted funny and tbh it was not worth the 115$ for a one night stay.

There were lots of bugs and overwhelming bad smells. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and damage to the tub. Cracked and falling plaster on the ceiling. Outlets were loose, cracked and dangerous. Beds were hard and lumpy. Floor was damanged and not level. Walls looked as if they had been chewed by an animal.
