Property was very clean and well maintained, including the room i stayed in. 4 elevators took you from lobby to room and they were very quick. Staff was very polite and helpful. I had breakfast and dinner at the in-house restaurant several times and food was very good snd readonably priced. Would stay here again. Wish it was closer to the museums and memorial monuments, but on next visit i'll be better at using the metro buses. Hotel is about a half hour walk and weather was very hot during my stay. Very pleased with the hotel. The room seemed quiet as well.

Honestly was 100% better then expected and would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful, food was amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely will be coming back!

Loved everything about this place! The room was very nice with a view of the pool. The pool was great! Just what I needed with 95 degree weather. The location was also very convenient with restaurants & shopping walking distance. Didn’t try the restaurant but definitely will on my next visit to DC! The staff was very nice & helpful. I Highly recommend!
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at the Washington Plaza hotel. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was also great, just blocks from the White House and other attractions. It was 97 degrees when we were there so the beautiful pool was an added bonus!
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location and the staff was welcoming and helpful our entire stay. We would stay here again and highly recommend it!!
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean, comfortable with awesome pool and fitness center. Close to everything I needed, self parking was a plus.
- 4/5
Most people do not brew their coffee in their room. The coffee tray in the room that holds the cups, cream and sugar is never clean. When people travel, they do not want to be bothered with making coffee. Plus, many things taste better when someone else prepares it.
- 4/5
It is within walking distance of the tourist attractions. It must have been a luxury hotel years ago, but it could use more updates, such as USB charging ports, reducing the constant noise from the elevators for rooms located near them, and better sound insulation from people talking downstairs if you are on the second floor.

My overnight stay was the best. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious. Staff were super friendly. The only negative thing I can say is about the 24 inch TV. That was hard to watch
- 5/5
The construction noise ( hidden) in the lobby was distracting for conversation during the day We arrived after 10 pm due to flight delay No restaurant or food service available and the convenience store was too far for us to walk.. otherwise the onsite dining was fine
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and the hotel was located close to everything you would like to see while visiting DC

Desk clerks courteous and helpful. Clean room, nice relaxing lobby, secure parking (in/out privileges) and car can stay in parking garage until 6 P.M. the following day. Walking distance to dining and retail. Hotel renovations are very nice.

The lobby was nice. We were able to check our bags in early before actual check in which was nice. Staff was friendly. The pool was COLD! the room we stayed in was hands down the worst room we’ve ever stayed in… it was the TINIEST hotel room I’ve ever seen, the coffee pot was plugged in at the sink, the bathroom was an odd shape and the toilet was one you would see in a public bathroom, the balcony was NOT worth the extra money since couldn’t see hardly anything. Would NOT recommend.
- 5/5
Location is everything!!

Didn’t have breakfast. Location was ideal
- 5/5
Overall the stay was WONDERFUL! I really enjoyed it. The room and property was very clean!! The staff was amazing! Ice machine wasn’t working on the floor i was staying on. So i had to use another floors ice machine. I wished the overnight parking was also a little more cheaper than it was. But was glad i was able to park and go in and out as i pleased. Will definitely stay again when i return to DC!

Clean hotel with plenty of help from the staff. Excellent location for getting downtown quickly. Pool, and outdoor bar facilities also excellent. As a brit, the Guinness wasn't too bad! Rooms look slightly dated but still clean and fully functional. Nothing broken so not bad at all.

Reserved a room for my adult kids to stay in DC overnight, and they were very pleased! Really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities, especially being able to leave their bags so they had less to carry to the museums.

I’m a local and I staycation at the Washington Plaza because it’s just so great. Pool is fabulous. Bar staff is wonderful. And the renovations look amazing.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent! No issues at all.

I lliked the pool area the most. It looks like a resort in the heart of DC. The rooms r a bit old.

I found a used condom In my room under the bed and my service dog grabbed it and I had to take her to the veterinary hospital for treatment causing me an additional $300 of unexpected experiences as well as I had damage to my truck due to low hanging sprinkler system pipes and signs. I will never stay in this hotel ever again, bathrooms are small, terrible parking,

My stay was great, the staff was very helpful and polite. here are my only concerns. When i returned from an outing the cleaning person was inside my room cleaning, I think that if there cleaning a guest room that are still booked to the property they should leave the door open. I was shocked to open the door and find someone inside. Also the parking is very low. if you have a very tall SUV i would not recommend parking in the basement as the top might hit all the low hanging things in there. Other then that my stay was great. I saw but did not use the work out area which is very big with all the equipmnt you could ever need. I was also surprised to find in that area a bank of old school phones, I think they work, it really brought back memories.

The location of the Washington Plaza was excellent for what I was looking for. Literally around the corner from 14th Street, where there are fun bars and restaurants. Walking or a short car ride to most of the city's attractions and museums. The room had a great view of Thomas Circle and the pool. Also, the pool was a great amenity to have during my stay.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel for the price, clean, helpful staff good location
- 5/5

- 5/5
The hotel has a classic, authentic feel; it’s not a brand-new boutique property, but don’t let that put you off. The location is excellent, right on Thomas Circle, with easy access to McPherson Square Metro and just a short walk to 14th Street. That street is a real highlight, full of great restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. Unconventional Diner is an absolute must and easily walkable. The outdoor pool area was fantastic on sunny days and perfect for some downtime after long sightseeing days. One small complaint was that the pool water was cooler than we expected, but it was still very usable. The rooms are dated compared to modern new-build hotels, but they were clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for our family of three. Road noise is noticeable (as you’d expect, being in the heart of the city), but nothing that disturbed our sleep. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once for lunch, and it was good. The gym is a bit tired, and the air conditioning didn’t cool the room adequately, but I was still able to get my workouts done. Overall, we really liked our stay here. Great central location, solid service, and a proper hotel pool made it a good base for exploring Washington DC. We’d happily return.

I want to say special thank you to receptionist Asia she was super nice and professional and quick with me. Of course I will come back again and again here. Highly recommended

- 3/5
It was a clean, reasonably priced, good option.

We had an amazing time there. Staff was helpful and friendly! We were several hours early and they let us check in around 11am even though check in time was 3pm. We were able to keep our car there in their private underground parking garage as soon as we arrived which was around 6am as we explored the city and got breakfast for a few hours. Overnight parking there was $45. The pool, gym, and lobby was well kept, clean, and organized. The room was clean, and spacious. They greeted us when entering and leaving the hotel and were overall just a pleasant group of people who tried to make our stay comfortable and inviting. The location was nice as well, and within walking distance to all the major sites. We would definitely go back again!

Really like how convenient the location of this hotel was. Staff was friendly and the property was clean.

Todo estaba limpio no hay quejas con el personal
- 4/5
There was only one problem I had with the property, and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. The issue is the location. The Metro is a few blocks away, and there are really no restaurants within almost half a mile. That meant I had to eat in the hotel restaurant, which is something I really don't do, but I had little choice, though it must be stated that had no problems with the restaurant.

It was a great stay in a great hotel with extraordinarily friendly, helpful and polite staff. When I arrived, a member of the hotel staff helped immediately with the heavy suitcases. A lady working at the reception named Asia was extremely friendly and gave me a great room. She also helped during the stay giving useful advice, for example where to buy a second suitcase or which transport medium I could use. I didn’t feel like just another number of guests, but like I was being treated as an individual! All staff members at the reception were very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was huge, one could open the window and I had a great view seeing the nearby church. There was a coffee machine, great coffee, tea, and water inside the room. All was very clean without having used harmful chemicals to desinfect like in the hotel I had stayed before. The bathroom was very clean with a bath tub, which I enjoyed. There were shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion available. The pool was great, opened at my second day, from 9 to 9. There was also wonderful staff responsible for the pool area and for rescueing just in case. The pool water was pleasant, the pool not overcrowded. Great to have it, because it was so hot in Washington D.C. The hotel is located in a walking distance of about 10-12 minutes to the next metro station . Another good aspect was that I could walk to the Walt. E Wash Convention Centre in about 11 minutes. So no metro or cab necessary to go to the converntion centre. I tried the restaurant of the hotel once for lunch. The prices were payable, the staff very friendly, the meal very well cooked. I had the sandwich with crevettes and French Fries, which was delicious and cost less than 20 dollars. One could sit outside looking at the pool area and the atmosphere was great. Did not have breakfast in the hotel. Overall, I can highly recommend that hotel, even for single persons. It felt safe and good to be there and I would choose that hotel again. The room prizes during congress times were high.

Check in/check out went smoothly. Front desk staff was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Asia checked me in and my experience with her was very pleasant and helpful. The parking fee provided a secure environment and in/out at all times. The hotel renovations are very nicely done and appealing. My room was comfortable and hot water, for a change. The in room digital safe was an added bonus (my iPad fit inside). Great location to walk to restaurants, nightclubs, and shops. I will stay at Washington Plaza Hotel again on my next trip to DC. WPH, I wish this hotel would add a Starbucks!!! You got your ears on? lol.

Very kind and helpful staff. Kudos to the bellman Ali. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and lobby very pleasing. Lots of staff at the desk so did not have to wait in line to check in or check out. The hotel is in a beautiful area of Washington and close enough to walk to all the sites.

The staff was awesome super friendly and all smiles. Very helpful when asking for place to go in the area for dinner. The rooms were nice and bathrooms were update probably not long ago. For the money a great hotel. It was a last minute for me to book. The White House was not but a half mile walk with a ton of restaurants close by.

The location was great. In the middle of my stay I was told by the front desk that the water in my room will be shut off. With zero notice. When I asked if I could use the bathroom of a different room as I need to take a shower before leaving the room for the day, I was put on hold only to be told to go to the basement and shower at the gym. I did that, but there was no hot water. I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to ask yet again for a basic amenity like hot water, and had to have a cold shower. I informed the front desk about the lack of hot water on my way back to my room, other than a vague apology, nothing was done.

I wish I could’ve given the staff rating a higher number because Treasure, who checked me out was so kind attentive, and timely. Did such an excellent job getting me out on my merry way. But I can’t remember the woman’s name who checked me in, made a very odd comment about “how my card went through” and that made me feel really uncomfortable. Of course, I was still kind to her after but it didn’t feel good because it kind of made me feel like she was insinuating I couldn’t pay to stay there. I definitely say if you’re gonna work at a Front Desk probably shouldn’t make comments like that. But outside of that, my stay was good. The room was clean. And my sister and I had a really good time.

The breakfast options were minimal, but just enough we really enjoyed two days of breakfast there at a reasonable price. The rooms were cozy and quiet and the staff were pleasant all around. I was surprised at the location. My husband and I was able to walk to the national mall which was about 20 minutes but it’s almost flat everywhere you go so it was an easy walk and a ton of restaurants in the area and walking distance. There’s a Whole Foods right around the corner. This was our second visit and we will be coming back.

I liked very much the location with a great view. The hotel entrance and lobby are beautiful, but the rooms are too small, and the carpet is very old and dark. The bathroom is very, very small and cramped. I do not recommend it, and we will not be returning.

Excellent place to stay in DC. I always stay here when I’m in town. Reasonable price. Close to everything. My room was clean, quiet and comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that there was no microwave. In/out parking is convenient but not free. It’s $43(?) per day. I highly recommend it!
- 4/5
Location No pool open
- 5/5
Very conventional, parking was 43 per night which is expensive so be aware . They dont out that on your hotel .
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Thank you
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, easy check in and great neighborhood.
- 5/5
This is a good hotel in the middle of the city. Great customer service and quality amenities
- 5/5
Staff was excellent in every way throughout our 4 night stay. I hate to name specific people, because each one was A+. However, I would be remiss not to give a specific shout out to Sarah in the International Lounge. She was so pleasant, and welcoming each night. We would definitely stay at the Washington Plaza again.
- 5/5
Great location, quiet, clean, friendly, helpful and excellent staff! I’ll be back!

I did not like anything about this place. Everything. The room wear dirty and bathroom was old design. For the money i paid i was expecting decent room but i didnt even get fine room

- 5/5
Excellent staff, service and location. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
I liked the cleanliness, the well manicured landscaping and the very professional staff, especially Jamaal. All were great and very well dressed.
- 2/5
My room and bathroom had not been updated in over 40 years!! Old amenities made the whole place kind of sad and it felt dirty even though I am sure it was cleaned. And the door did not have a chain or even a heavy duty lock. I travel several times a month and have for over 30 years this is the first time I have had to put a chair under the door.
- 5/5
Hotel was immaculate, room service was top notch, and the entire staff was courteous and attentive. I would definitely stay here again the next time I return to D.C. The hotel is very centrally located and easy to get to sites and the a million restaurants. The pool looked lovely, but the only unfortunate thing was that it doesn't open until May 1st for we couldn't use the pool---but it looked great!
- 5/5
The front desk and door staff are fantastic. I'm in DC frequently and always opt to stay here due to the fantastic staff and great location
- 5/5
Great location, convenient to everything. Friendly staff and clean rooms. I would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Muy elegante y muy bueno la estadía, pero le hace falta más comodidad como microondas y buenas persianas en la ventana y también debe deberían de dejar de meter las cosas de la cafetera en el baño
- 4/5
The maids coming into my room to clean Before I checked out!!
- 5/5
Everything was great customer service the food very comfortable 👌
- 3/5
Check out is at 12noon, decided to sleep in, hang the do not disturb sign but was awaken by loud knocks at around 10am. The lady on the other side of the door kept saying housekeeping and it really not good as I need the sleep really bad. The room is quite small and the building is old. The coffee maker/station is next to the toilet in the bathroom,

Overall a short pleasant stay. Very friendly staff.
- 4/5
It was awfully rxpensive, but apparently there was a meeting going on in town so most hotels were booked and those that weren’t definitely had surge pricing! I’d have liked a vending machine with the ice machine on the halls. We just wanted to have a Coke in the room and you couldn’t. We even asked at the front desk if there was a vending machine anywhere nope so we went to the restaurant to order a couple to go (no room service option) and they said I’m sorry food and drink can’t leave our restaurant. I said not even a Coke? And was told sorry policy. So that was weird. Otherwise the room was spacious, the staff was nice.
- 4/5
Everything was great, especially the staff! The hotel is older and my room had a smell that I finally determined
- 3/5
It’s was a hot weekend in DC but and the pool was closed and looked really sad. The room was clean but it’s very dated. The Hotel is in a good location with many restaurants in walking distance.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable..staff was very friendly..breakfast tasted fresh
- 4/5
Location was great, and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Free water bottles whenever you need them! Lobby and building are beautiful, but the rooms are tiny and bare-bones. Perfect if you’re not planning on spending a lot of time in the room and you plan to walk around DC.
- 4/5
Unaware of the cost during the booking Because of this, not going to stay there again
- 1/5
I reserved the room so that my kids could swim they didn't let use no that the pool wasn't swimable
- 3/5
The hotel was meh. Just okay. Asked for late checkout. The checkout time was noon. I wanted to checkout at 2pm. I was told the latest I could check out would be 12:30pm and if I wanted to stay until 2pm, I would be charged 50% of the daily room rate. I thought that was ridiculous.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, its central location for hanging in DC, I love the superior king bed with balcony 2 floor 236 great view . My hubby an I got on scooters and scooted our way everywhere. The best price with Lime is to get a 5.99 montly subscription you get a better deal. The hotel amenities were a little out dated for my husband but I loved it .It had a beautiful bedroom appearance an appeal. It was very cozy . I think they need to revamp there menu and come down on the the price points a little
- 4/5
Wish the pool would have been open it was over 90 degrees during my stay.
- 5/5
Very beautiful outdoor pool excellent restaurant
- 5/5
The room were very clean staff were cordial
- 5/5
Everything was very good, the attention, the food, the room service, is really close to everything!!
- 4/5
Too cold for the pool but looked nice
- 4/5
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable with good HVAC and wifi.
- 3/5
Smell cigarettes in the hallways and our room
- 4/5
Stayed there the first week of April 2026. Pros: close to everything. There is a Wawa store and a CVS pharmacy next to it. The rooms are clean and of decent size. We had too connected rooms. We had 4 water bottles in our rooms every day, so we didn’t have to worry about buying water. Cons: The rooms are outdated. Old bathrooms. There was carpet under the sink! The Ac/heater system is also old. Small gymnasium. Small pool (closed during the season). We were able to order food from the restaurant but we had to pick it up (no room service available).
- 1/5
The room felt outdated, specifically regarding technology. There was no Smart TV or Airplay capability, which was disappointing for a city hotel; we were stuck with basic cable. The layout was also very tight, the entryway was so cramped that we often had to step into the bathroom just to get into the room. If you need ADA accessibility, definitely double-check your room type, as the standard layout is not friendly for mobility. The biggest issue was the climate control. Our room was very hot, and we were told by the front desk that the entire building is set to "Heat Only" for the winter season. Even with a thermostat in the room, we couldn't turn the AC on and were told to just open a window. Pros: There is a parking garage on-site, which is a plus. Note on Parking: The garage is very tight. We were fine in a small SUV, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a large vehicle. Likely wouldn't stay again unless it was the only option available

Very safe underground secure parking!
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly. Parking was very convenient. Walk8ng distance to many great places.
- 5/5
We got an early check in that allowed us to go to the museums earlier than anticipated. Staff were always smiling and polite. Restaurant, though limited menu, had wonderful food. Rooms clean, beds comfy. Walking distance ro National Mall, White House, and the metro makes this a great location. Lots of conveniences just steps from the hotel. Amazing place to stay at an affordable rate, will be back.
- 1/5
Our room was very very dated, which was fine but the door that led to the balcony was not very well sealed so we got a lot of street noise. The draft was also very strong, which meant the very loud heater was running all night. But the straw that broke the camels back was the heavy stench of marijuna on our last night. It was so strong that it woke me up and kept me up for a few hours.

- 4/5
Clean room, nice location. Staff are courteous and the manager was there by chance during his rounds when we checked out and took care of our problem immediately. Thank you for taking care of me and my husband during our stay. Will definitely come back next time .
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. However, I was not impressed with the state of the rooms. Towels had stains on them. Bathroom sink area had carpeting, which I found odd. - 4/5
Staff was extremely friendly, room was very clean and roomy. Metro stop only a couple of blocks away. Great location and will stay again next time I’m back in DC.
- 3/5
The staff is super friendly. The reviews led me to believe it was a much nicer hotel. There was significant construction going on and that created a lot of noise in the common areas like the lounge, and that was a real drag. The room is kind of worn out, with generally deteriorated surfaces, especially in the bath. The water pressure in the bathroom was really substandard. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The only way to get a Coke or something in the evening is at the bar, which was kind of a drag. Coffee service in the morning means visiting the hostess stand in the restaurant and spending five bucks for a to go cup of just okay coffee. Felt like a ripoff. It’s in a good area with wonderful dining and entertainment options within walking distance. We walked to Chinatown, the National Portrait Gallery, and may excellent restaurants. Next time I visit I will spend a little more per night and stay in a nicer place. It’s not management’s fault, it’s just a worn out property—room finishes and plumbing, particularly.

I regularly visit DC and was looking for a hotel near my daughter’s apt in Logan Circle area. Hotel needs a major update, main entrance was not easy to find, construction going on downstairs, room was a blast from the early 90’s decor, carpet in bathroom…the location is great near restaurants and a quick walk to McPherson Metro stop, but this hotel unfortunately is maybe a 2 star hotel and has potential but is very outdated and I wouldn’t stay here again, had a much better experience at Hotel Zena across the street.

Rooms were spotless, staff was great! Highly recommend, will stay again when I return to DC
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The hallways, elevator, and service rooms (those that can be accessed by the public) were exceptional. The staff was courteous and friendly - a welcome addition to those of us who are accustomed to friendliness - who answered a few questions the night I checked in.
- 5/5
Excellent location, very clean and nice staff.
- 4/5
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Clean throughout. Only problem not to make a 5 star was that the shower had terrible pressure. Will stay again.

- 5/5
Room was spotless, heat and air control in separate rooms which i loved. Very spacious. Entire staff was beyond helpful with EVERYTHING!!!! One of the managers even waited for me as i stepped outside late for some quick air. And the food was great!
- 5/5
All the above.
- 2/5
We had to change rooms twice. First room had a cockroach in the bathtub. Second rooms AC did not work. There was only one elevator working all week. This hotel did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
- 1/5
I did not have breakfast. So I can’t really comment on that. However, there were only one working elevator available for the entire hotel, which moves very slowly. There weren’t any microwaves available for the room and its guests. My room look like something out of a motel or the side of a truck stop road. The bathtub was stained very badly. Not to mention the hair follicles that were inside of it. The television was so outdated and small. The dressers look like something straight out of a thrift store donation area. The linen looks very old, and worn. Overall, I really didn’t wanna stay in that hotel if I didn’t have to. I was OK with leaving that night, if I could have and went straight home. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with any type of class, or comfort level that they are used to..
- 5/5
Just the right feel for us.
- 2/5
Parking condition and infrastructure very poor design. It was not good for pick up vehicles, expensive
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Jamaal and Lu were excellent at checkin.
- 5/5
All of the front desk staff were amazing. Beds are a little small. But we made it worked. It was New Year’s Eve everyone was partying you could hear them in the hall but once in the room you couldn’t hear anything. That was great. Overall this hotel is now in my top 5 for my DC stay.
- 5/5
The staff was exceptionally friendly. Everyone from the doorman, to the receptionist, to the server in the restaurant. An absolutely incredible good experience, particularly for the room rate.
- 1/5
Under construction one elevator working for the whole property rooms outdated carpet tearing did not appear clean noisy
- 5/5
I didn’t eat breakfast. But the front desk staff and bar service was awesome. My toilet was stopped upon arrival and I called down to have it fixed and they sent someone up right away.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very good location for tourist visits and walking into the downtown or Chinatown areas
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. My only complaint is 3 of the 4 elevators were "out of service"
- 5/5
Very clean room and bathroom. Very quiet. Very nice restaurant in-house. Superior staff at front desk; very [professional.
- 1/5
This hotel is just outdated and way way way past its prime. Not to mention it is undergoing long overdue renovations. This was not stated in my expedia reservation or i never ever would have stayed there. For example, 4 elevators and only 1 is in operation!!! Then there is the staff. Some were genuinely kind and helpful on check in. Yet, when I enter a hotel with a door man whose only job is to open a door, and he sits there and does nothing! Of course the rovolving door is broken so one heavy door to enter. Never again--Stay away!!
- 5/5
Excellent staff.
- 4/5
Rips in carpet in room. Beds a little worn. Phone in room didn’t work. Staff very friendly. Restaurant very good food. Cleanliness good.
- 1/5
So we felt border line discrimination once we were hanging in the lobby inconsistent what showed to other guests or even when I have stayed prior and staff was more friendly… (seems the staff in the morning was more charming and welcoming it was more the evening staff that was not good) nice hotel but the staff killed the experience as I mentioned border line discrimination

Hotel is a little dated, but it is in a nice location and the staff was friendly. Rooms were clean but are showing their age - but keep in mind this is usually a great pricepoint hotel, so I didn't mind the older style.
- 3/5
Bathroom too small. No bars at toilet for seniors. Staff restaurant very good
- 5/5
We had our wedding reception at the Willard -- the team there is the best! The bell and valet staff are top-notch and the event staff is second to none
- 4/5
My room was perfect for the one night I need it. It was clean and meticulous, but not modern. The property is in the middle of a renovation so there was some noise from that's. I was presently surprise on the wonderful restaurant. The pool is a big hit in the hot DC summers
- 5/5
Good hotel, parking was great, staff had a great attitude, everything was clean and nice, a solid value.
- 3/5
The staff was somewhat friendly. I did not enjoy that my first day at the hotel there was no power! So i was not able to work
- 5/5
Room was very clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Restaurant food was very good and affordable.

- 5/5
Other than providing if and credit card, everything went smoothly
- 4/5
I wish I would have been warned at check in that there was a planned piwer outage in my room so I coulx have planned my schedule around it.
- 3/5
The hotel is generally nice. However, it is undergoing renovations and did not have power for part of the stay. The staff was very helpful, and did what they could to accommodate us. It would have be more considerate to make us aware of this ahead of time so that we could have planned accordingly.
- 5/5
A good staff and good restaurant
- 5/5
staffs are courteous, the room is clean.
- 5/5
Great room and very friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and they had parking!
- 2/5
I felt like I was in the 1970s. It looked like they may have pivoted to a retro decor in the early 2000s and never updates from there. Staff were friendly, but facilities were flawed. Had a 4 star rating when I looked. I was disappointed when I got there. Left early.
- 3/5
Rooms are very old, and the amenities as well
- 4/5
Room was clean, Food was good, All Staffs were friendly and courteous. What else could be needed?
- 1/5
Electric went out while I was there. I couldn't even check out. They said management would reach out to me they never did. And each time I called they said management was not in. It was horrible along with roaches and hair from whoever stayed prior to me it was disgustingly bad and they have yet to reach out
- 5/5
Little awkward the door guy wouldn’t let me take my own bags up to my room but I guess the typical DC visitor likes that stuff.
- 2/5
No internet and very noisy room
- 5/5
Size of rooms and the wonderful staff.
- 2/5
Room wasn’t in the best condition. Heater wasn’t working, carpet was a bit dusty, amenities weren’t the best, but most importantly, the bathtub was leaking.

I gave 4 stars - although the room was really clean there was garbage in the trash can when first stayed in the room. It wasnt my garbage but the previous guest.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and accommodating. The parking was super easy. Location was perfect for getting around by foot. Would definitely come back.
- 5/5
The room was excellent, but the staff went well beyond that. Friendly and helpful and extremely courteous.

Great location - short walk to the convention center. Clean rooms and nice staff !
- 5/5
Good service
- 3/5
Staff was great Fitness center was clean
- 5/5
Always great
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location is centrally located and convenient. No complaints about that. However, if you need to use the business center for printing, note that the printer will likely not be working. Fortunately, the front desk printed out my documents with no complaint. While very helpful and greatly appreciated, it was a nuisance that the printer was broken. This seems to be a common problem at most hotels. Otherwise, the stay would have been perfect.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 1/5
My state was disgusting. They put me in a room that had holes in the curtain the size of infant shoes, not exaggerating. The room smell very, very, very dingy when you open the door and take two steps close proximity to the door smelt like someone had took in a urine, this was on the eighth floor made a mention of this to the staff who was very helpful who placed me in a room on the second floor wich was Les dingy . Hope mgt can reach out to me before I let my 47k followers know how I felt .

The check in person was exceptional. Had a balcony room where I had breakfast and sipped bourbon to close out the day. The location to so much is ideal. The view spectacular!

Great stay
- 3/5
Room was okay and outdated. Staff were very friendly. The AC barely worked our entire stay.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing from the door to the desk. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. There was a nice fridge and microwave along with iron and ironing board, lots of hangers. We had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were dreamy.

Everything was swell on a quick overnight. Nice staff, good location. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
love it and balcony
- 5/5
Staff frindl and helpful. Rooms clean. Restaurant on premises. Enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
The room was good in terms of value, having all essential supplies replenished daily
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean. Quiet (at least on the top floor). I stayed one night for a work conference and when I arrived early, they had a room available for early check in, which was helpful. The hotel is walkable from the convention center and not far from many food options.
- 2/5
Room was tiny and road noise was incredibly loud. An insulated door and better window would be super helpful with that. The underground parking was an extra $70 CAD per day with taxes which is absurd!!
- 5/5
good staff, location, ease of access, clean room and bathroom
- 3/5
Staff were nice. Rooms were clean but felt dated.
- 5/5
Convenient location. Great view from the room balcony!

The bedsheets were pulled way too tight. It was like the episode of Seinfeld where I couldn’t get my feet inside. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast menu doesn’t have much selection and the food was so so. Overall, its cleanliness and excellent customer service has earned my return business.

I had a great time at Washington Plaza Hotel. It stayed very spotless and clean. When I visit Washington D.C again, I will stay there again for sure. The balcony view was outstanding and it is just something that is near everything walking distance. I can’t give you one complaint about it. Maybe no miceowave is the only downfall but other than that. There is not anything you can complain about.

The friendly staff and convenience to everything

Ended up requesting new room due to live roach crawling upon awakening. Staff was very apologetic and responded quickly and professionally, moved me to another room and added complimentary breakfast for the rest of my stay. Greatly appreciated the effort but ended up killing another crawling bug in my new room the next day.

The Washington Plaza has become my favorite hotel if I need a great price/value offering. Centrally located on Thomas Circle, it is a short walk from the Metro (with direct connection to DCA and IAD), in walking distance to downtown, museums, and restaurants. I also like their Fitness Center. And the staff is super-friendly.

Very good service, front desk and concierge service was superb. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Easy walking distance to Convention Center

I enjoyed my stay!

The building felt dated, the heat didn't work in my room, but it was ok and a good location.

Clean and walking distance to restaurants. Parking is a plus.

The staff is extremely helpful, the area and hotel are beautiful as well as safe, and the rooms are very clean.

The friendly staff made us feel at home; the room was comfortable and nicely decorated with bright warm colors and very clean with a good refrigerator; we had some trouble with the thermostat keeping the room cool but not cold (but we were not in the room long enough to ask for help with it). It would help to have more surfaces in the bathroom for toiletries. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

I will return to this property for all my further trips to Washington D.C., it was a 10 out of 10 for me. Excellent value for the price, as well!

The property was clean. Just outdated. The outside and lobby looked great but the rooms had old carpeting and outdated amenities. The location is definitely a plus. The hotel tries charging insane amount for parking but if you go on a weekend, street parking outside the hotel is free all day Saturday and Sunday.

A bit outdated... but I believe it's like this purposely. Everything else was great (breakfast not included... but that's me just knit-picking)!

The suite was very comfortable

This hotel is really old with carpet in the bathrooms and relatively thin walls. For the cost absolutely not worth staying at.

Only complaint is no microwave or public microwave

Bed was horrible for our lower backs. Parking was$50 a night. Ridiculous pricing for a parking garage and no valet service.

Clean room, kind staff, cheap tv in room, pool was closed, parking was expensive.

Roomy comfy and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend valet parking as an option. Our cards did not work to let us in or out of garage. Was a hassle.

I stayed for a total of three days. Each day when I came back I found my room clean and supplies were restocked. I did find the sheer curtains ripped and on the remote the menu button did not work. This was reported and the remote was replaced.

The sink was clogged with black particles in the bathroom.

Clean quiet room, nice bar and restaurant, friendly staff and service, convenient parking garage, but the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, a great stay.
