    The gym is amazing, the people are so kind! Felt safe in this hotel. Room service was good everything was great, Great downtown location. Things to keep in mind. Parking , if your booking through expedia buy the parking pass, if not its alot more especially if your staying multiple days I think they said $90 a day through the hotel. You can park in the parking garage near by for a discount but you will be walking to your car, you can't park in the street. Another thing to keep in mind is they have no washer or dryer in the hotel, you have to send your clothes out to get washed and they bring them back, I didn't know this when booking the hotel, I'm used to hotels having a laundry room. I really loved that they gave us 2 tour passes for the trolly, it was really nice. I would say go as early as possible because if you go too late the trolly will close and you will be stuck without a ride back. I would definitely stay here again!!! Try the Hamilton Restaurant its near by and its very good!!!

    Check in was seamless, staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. The Striped Zebra restaurant’s meals and drinks were very good. The room was spacious, clean and we had a very nice view. Would definitely stay there again.

    We loved the convenience of being right next to the metro station. It made coming back after long days so easy. The staff were helpful. The room was great (though it was warm a lot of the time - we were there in early March as the temps were changing but we couldn’t turn on the air conditioner. We made it work). We will definitely consider staying here again.

    (Three night weekend getaway.) There were some added perks we didn't expect, like $15/day credit at the lobby bar/restaurant, and free hop on/hop off trolley rides to see the DC sites.     This would be a 5 star EXCEPT there is major construction next door. Ok. Any place can have construction but they should tell you. Our room faced the construction and at 730 the jack hammers and other equipment commenced. Not right.

    I visited with my teenage daughters during the Cherry Blossom Festival, and there were lots of activities happening around DC, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The perks included in the hotel fee were great, city tour tickets for two, drinks and food credit, and other amenities. The Metro station is right on the corner, and public parking is a 3–5 minute walk ($20–$35 per day). I parked my car for the whole weekend and didn’t need it. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely come back!

    M club was nice with good variety during breakfast and cocktail hour. Gym is new and large for a hotel gym. Rooms have all been updated and the beds were comfortable. Location was also close enough to the National Mall etc that if you don’t mind walking a bit it’s an easy walk.

    There was construction next door during our stay - jackhammers constantly. The room was very clean - just a standard room. The desk staff seem uninformed- we asked several questions about the breakfast program we purchased and they didn’t know anything. There was also a $40 daily charge for some reason-it wasn’t included in the quote on Expedia - so if you are basing your hotel decision on price you need to include this random extra charge into your daily budget. Overall we had a great time - but the Marriott was pretty disappointing and so was Expedia because of the secret charge.

    This hotel checks all the boxes. The staff is incredibly helpful, the restaurant and Starbucks on site are extremely convenient, the rooms have all the right plugs and outlets and all the right places and the HVAC system is internal so that you don’t have to listen to radiators circling on and off all night. I will be using this hotel from now on whenever I travel into DC for business.

    Incorrect information. Breakfast is not free; when I booked it was mentioned free breakfast but when arrived there, they told me $28 from restaurant. Not buffet breakfast just must purchase from restaurant; they changed me a lot for every item and plus $7 coffee plus tax which was not when I booked the room, I felt they are stealing from me. They sold room to me with different information which is not fair.

    Additionally, there was no body wash in our bathroom, and despite requesting it, I never received any during our stay. Lastly, the food quality at the hotel restaurant left much to be desired — it simply didn’t meet the standard I expected from a Marriott property. I hope management takes these comments seriously to improve the overall guest experience.

    What I like the most about this Marriott metro dc hotel room, hallway and lobby is that it is clean! I have stayed in other hotels that the cleanliness is questionable. The noises coming from the hallway into our room was quite annoying. There is a gap between the bottom of the door and the carpet and we were able to hear all the commotion outside on the hall when people are talking walking or running. I am not sure if there is a reason for that gap. I slept with my noise cancellations headset on afterwards. The king room comes with a sofabed in case you are travelling with a child with you. I will stay again.

    Now on to things that could be improved. The pool is COLD. Since we booked this specific hotel for the pool (kids) it'd be nice if it was a little warmer. Also, the front desk advertises a $15 credit (already included in your destination fee). This turned out to be a ploy as it cannot be used in the snack shop or at Starbucks, only in the Restaurant/Room Service. Nothing at either is $15 or less, so we ended up spending a lot more than intended to utilize the credit. But I suppose a nice perk if you've already planned to eat at the Spotted Zebra anyways.

    The best service at this property was housekeeping. They were thorough, efficient, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our safety. The streets were clean around the property but the sidewalks were uneven in the majority of the city and we came close several times to tripping on raised/uneven edges. The front desk staff treated us like unwanted guests and were not helpful because we booked our stay through a third party. This property is so close to the mass transit system that it made having a rental car 100% unnecessary. We had a great visit

    Service was disappointing. I ordered Uber Eats, and unlike most hotels I’ve stayed at, no one would bring it up to my room—I had to go down myself. Same story when I needed cutlery: they don’t provide it via housekeeping, and I had to ask the restaurant downstairs directly. If you’re here on a quick business trip for 1–2 nights and don’t expect much, it’s acceptable. But for anything longer or more comfortable, I’d look elsewhere.

    The place was nice, staff was great, rooms were clean, common areas were clean, very nice gym on 3rd floor. It is close to many sights and very walkable to most anywhere of interest. It like a 2 minute walk from the metro station. The bellmen were awesome getting cabs, plenty of Ubers as well. My bed was too soft, only downside. There is Macy's right across the street and Wallgreens two blocks away, so you can get what you forget to bring!

    The thing I appreciated most was the comfortable bed and pillows! The room was nice and the convenience of Starbucks and a restaurant was a great addition. My only complaint was the swimming pool. It was so overly crowded the times we tried to go. When we finally had a chance to go and it wasn't filled with children, it was filthy. The water was murky, had all kinds of hair and some trash in it. It clearly isn't cleaned regularly. We couldn't even swim and enjoy this amenity. It was very disappointing.

    The cons- the hotel restaurant had very limited options and the food was pretty disgusting. The beds and pillows are hard and not comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The worst part are is the walls are paper thin and we were woken up multiple times every night we were there by loud guests.

    We were tucked back in the corner of the hallway where it seems the air conditioning was sub par. The room was muggy no matter how low you put the thermostat it didn’t get down below 70°. The toilet ran all the time and didn’t flush, I had to fix it myself. If the room maintenance functioned properly; which I hope most rooms do, I would give it 5 stars. The location is perfect and staff is kind and helpful!

    I stay at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center when in D.C. for meetings. Lovely hotel, they are so welcoming, the place is immaculate from the Lobby to the rooms. It is quiet and an excellent location for shopping, with Macy's right at the corner. I love staying there and always feel safe.

    Hotel is clean. A fine three-star property. Staff are friendly, although some front desk staff gave confusing information. Written docs provided were useless cuz of low printer ink. The hallways were quite noisy, particularly on my floor, which seemed like the central locale for cleaning staff.

    We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro. My daughter lives in Arlington and I wanted to be able to go back and forth without worry. The BEST part of this hotel was the darling staff in the club level breakfast area. We were there the entire week of Thanksgiving and the ladies were delightful every morning. Would stay here again without question!!

    Staff at reception not friendly or helpful at all, Trudy was very unhelpful, no customer service at all, was just u pleasant, also on wet day asked another reception member was there any umbrellas available as we had small baby I was just told no and she turned away, very unfriendly staff, no effort at all, the restaurant staff were amazing.

    Spotted Zebra restaurant inside of the hotel - I found a huge piece of broken glass in my water glass! Thankfully I didn’t cut myself on it or given to my son in his glass. Our glasses were not broken so the broken glass came from Lord knows where! This should have never happened. I let the waiter know, she apologized and removed the entire glass from the table. Valet parking- a valet employee stole roughly $23 from my center, closed console. I’m not upset about the money, it’s the principle of the matter and leaves me feeling violated.

    The staff was extremely friendly that was a plus however a 50 dollar destination fee was a surprise. With the destination fee came vouchers, which were unavailable to claim during our stay. The room was clean and nice, but was very noisy, we had no conditioner in the shower which was disappointing. The parking was 70 dollars, but right next door it was 12 dollars. I feel like nonstop fees were a problem, and lacking the basic necessities that a lower end hotel would have included. Bottom line, clean place, friendly staff, very overpriced for what your actually getting

    Extra feee added onto 65.00 parking made it $100.00 a night for parking. Pool was cold , no directions of where pool was located. Restaurant had good food but service to refill drinks was lacking. No fan in the bathroom in the room.

    The temperature was a bit warm in the room even though the thermostat was set at 65 our room registered at 69… a little warm and stuffy. Not great noise reduction in the hallway, sounded like our door was open and we were near the ice machine. Overall a pretty good stay for the price.
