Continental breakfast looked like having a lot choices, but there was not any juices, slalds and vegetables... Hotel pluses: good location and convenient and not very expensive parking.

The hotel is in a great location, with a CVS store right downstairs and convenient access to taxis. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were warm and friendly. When we checked in, the front desk upgraded our room, which was a nice surprise. Later, my mother accidentally left her phone in the hotel lobby, thanks to Sumayyan, we managed to retrieve it successfully, truly grateful for their help. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay here.

Amazing property, 5 stars across the board!

We paid for the most expensive room available. Day 1, we received a sub par studio room rather than the hospitality suite. Extremely noisy location. When I asked about the situation, I was told we were issued the wrong room due to over booking. We booked 5 months prior. Day 2, the room we were moved to had an infestation of ants. At the highest price offered, conditions were unacceptable.

Only issue was a loud HVAC fan in our room next to bed throughout the night when cooling the room

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is available in an underground garage for a fee. We would stay there again.

If you need to stay in downtown Washington DC, this is a great place to stay. Everything was excellent and pricing very competitive.

It was an average stay. The downtown location was great, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was nice. However, if you’re going to charge almost $400 a night, the “suite” needs to be bigger, the bathroom door shouldn’t hit the toilet seat when you close it, and the sinks should not be clogged. The parking garage has a weird setup, and it took ten minutes and a supervisor to refund a Kit Kat that my 10-year-old son was overcharged for. Additionally, as a member, we were promised a complimentary upgrade, but when we asked the front desk about it upon arrival, the nice lady had no idea what we were talking about. This isn’t Manhattan, where you can charge these prices.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was enjoyed by everyone. We did notice the mattress inside the sofa bed was thin and poky, but my kids didn’t complain and slept on it fine.

Nice large room able to handle a family of 4 for a week trip to DC. The pull out couch mattress was a little thin, and the door/bathroom structure could be improved for functionality.

I stayed here over the weekend and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was up to par.

This hotel is in a great location downtown Washington, D.C. with plenty of options for walking, public transportation or catching a taxi. There are many dining options within walking distance. The free breakfast that was included was prepared fresh and had great options. I also love that they have a kitchenette in your room so you can heat up your leftovers and enjoy.

It was close to the Metro and within walking distance to White House. We walked to the Washington Monument but was over a mile. Easy to get an Uber or Lyft. Rooms are smaller but nice. Breakfast was good also.

Excellent facilities. Large room size. Kitchen, dining, lounge / sofa bed area, as well as usual bed and bathroom arrangements. Bed was very comfortable. Toiletries, kitchen equipment all provided. Buffet breakfast included as part of the stay. Only minor negatives are for feedback only as they didn’t have a big impact on out stay: there was no kettle / teapot but a coffee machine was provided. None were available when I asked so I boiled water in a pot instead. There was some confusion over payment of the washer / dryers. Charge was $4.50 or $5 on your credit / debit card but you are charged $10 we were told this is on the assumption that you use the dryer, however if you use a different card for the dryer or don’t use the dryer the balance is refunded a couple of days later. This is not explained at the outset. I believe the customer should be informed of the charge before it is made. Finally, we booked a room for 4 but the bed was only made up for 2. No bedding provided for the sofa bed and had to be requested from reception. It arrived promptly I then had to make up the bed myself. I personally think that this should have been made up. All of my negative comments were sorted out during the stay are far outweighed by the positives of this stay and I don’t want them to reflect negatively on the hotel as our stay was truly excellent.

The bathroom is big, with no water temperature issues at all. Breakfast has plenty of choices, the veggies are fresh, and there’s always plenty of self-serve coffee. I felt so comfortable here that I decided to extend my stay. If there’s one thing I’d suggest for improvement, it would be adding a washing machine.

This is an excellent hotel stay for any type of travel. The king studio was very spacious, modern and comfortable.

This property is in a great location and is walkable to many sites and restaurants. The breakfast was good (albeit BUSY), and it was always easy to get an Uber. Two negatives: When the A/C would turn off, the noise was so loud it would wake me up. The other issue was when the hotel reset everyone's keys and didn't inform anyone. I was in a rush to make a meeting, but I had to spend extra time getting access back to my room. A sign or an email would've been nice to help save time.

Our stay was fantastic. The hotel staff was amazing and willing to help. The breakfast was really good, and the dining room very clean. The hotel is very central to all historical attractions and very easy to use Uber or other transportation options. We will for sure come again. The entire family had a good time. Front desk staff was helpful and very knowledgeable and friendly.

It was very convenient and also having CVS next door is a big plus.

The air conditioning kept freezing and it was hot in the room. The refrigerator worked but not great. Seemed like things were outdated. Otherwise staff was pleasant and property was cleaned.

It was an amazing stay. This was my first solo trip and I’ve used this hotel before but a NY location. It was wonderful and relaxing. The room service was top notch! I had needed a bag of ice since I have an ankle injury and they brought it up to my room quickly . They are nice and sweet staff! Also I did not know that they have balcony rooms so it was so exciting to get one for my stay !

We stayed for a week and while only a 10 minute walk to the White House it was lacking in the amenities it said it provided. The housekeeper never vacuumed the entire week or changed the sheets. I had to beg for new towels. The sleeper sofa my children slept on was so dented in the middle they sunk into the mattress. When I spoke with an Expedia rep about these issues, nothing was done. Really disappointed. Look elsewhere.

First of all, i tried to cancel due to my mom being in Hospice. You wouldn't budge on allowing me to cancel or work something out. I got there and the kitchen floor was entirely covered with spilled drinks. I then moved the foot stool and there was a debit card on the floor. So, obviously it wasn't cleaned either. When we came down to ask for ice, we let them know about the dirty floor. It wasn't 1 spot. It was covered in spills. A guy came up to clean the floor and he brought a box of kleenex. Obviously, you were telling us we're crying about the place. That was unbelievable. Completely unsatisfied 😕

I was greeted the moment I walked in and was able to check in early. They accommodated my requests and even upgraded my room free of charge!

The cooked breakfast was fresh and hot, and very convenient. But the menu could benefit from some variation. The dining service staff was great.

The room is fairly clean but the room service is not what you expect from a Marriott hotel. They simply need a reminder every day and still don't do the full cleaning or change the sheets and towels.

The the breakfast is terrible, once things got finished you have a long wait to refill and people need to wait in a long queue. Today all lobby and 2nd floor was full with the smell of eggs or vomiting even in the elevator.

Room was way too small. Breakfast is the wordt I've had and im a avid traveller. Room service is really bad. They didn't even clean the romm for 2 days because they said its holiday season.

Breakfast was just ok. Dishwasher in the room was literally falling out of the opening in the kitchen. Staff, was great, especially the housekeeping staff. Two laundries in the building and one of them completely out of service, unacceptable….two washers and dryers for the entire hotel.

Helpful and friendly staff throughout tge property

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and compare favourably to other Residence Inns by Marriott. However, breakfast is very limited in options and front desk staff need more training with their systems. Both check-in and -out need to be improved. Staff are friendly, but do not know how to use their software.

We enjoyed our stay, but our reservation stated that there was free parking and that was not true.
