The Hyatr was in a convenient location. Easy to get to multiple areas of the city. Room was spacious and the breakfast was good. Staff were all friendly. Valet parking cost more then the price posted in the hotel. Not sure why a price was posted but not adhered to.

By far best hotel to stay in George Town front desk was amazing truthfully a great experience traveling with me and my 2 year old first trip by ourselves long distance and they made it a great experience for us both. Dad and daughter trip successful!

Drove down from NYC to DC with the family for the weekend. Hotel was my staff was great and Rooms were clean No parking only valet parking only for $70 a night. I will visit again this hotel again.

My stay was amazing from check in to check o it. Staff was extremely professional, helpful, and hospitable. The hotel was extremely clean and well stocked woth refreshing spa water available in the lobby. The area was beautiful and grounds were maintained well. There’s a Walgreens directly next door if you need anything during your stay and many local eateries. The pool was clean and stocked with clean towels. I had an amazing stay and will be coming back soon.

We have been amazingly received by MS. La’Velle and her entire staff. Her attention to details and to make sure our rooms were perfectly assigned as we were a group of 12. She was able to arrange some inconveniences we had because of mistakes we made on our reservation and she was an angel for our entire group.

Nice clean rooms. The tv does not allow you to cast to Netflix. They had no working microwaves so I could not reheat my food to eat.

Location! It was a nice easy walk to the metro station, there’s coffee shop right in front and food places you can walk too. The area was nice and everyone was happy and helpful! I will be staying here again! I can’t think of anything I was highly impressed by everything!

We stayed for 3 nights. It was mostly great: friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious room, and nice pool. But on the final morning (a Saturday) breakfast was a shambles. With an hour of breakfast left, there were no clean tables, only paper plates and plastic cutlery, they had ran out of several things, and seemed short staffed. They also double charged us for breakfast and one day later it's not yet clear whether this has been resolved.

Everything was wonderful about our stay except for the beds. Possibly the worst that we’ve ever slept on. Towels were amazing though.

Clean property and rooms. Great staff. Downfall is parking. Super expensive even if you're stayimg with them. So that's no good. Your best bet will be to do Uber while staying here. Other then the parking they stay was great and the amenities. Also no free breakfast.

Floor to ceiling bedroom window, with good blackout blind -- but no daytime privacy curtain !! --- could the street walkers see into the bedroom ?? Breakfast was good , but somewhat "hectic" Mostly disposable cutlery & dishes which I don't like.

He clearly explained everything, communicated with Booking.com on our behalf, and genuinely tried to help us as much as possible. Even though the situation was frustrating, his calm attitude and willingness to assist made a big difference for us. Thank you, Al, for your kindness and professionalism. You truly care about guests, and it shows.

Breakfast was horrible. You could not get coffee without paying for the whole breakfast and the toast was literally frozen together in the bin and condiments were not kept full. I was charged for a full breakfast (for all members of the room even when no one ate) when I thought I was just grabbing coffee as some of the breakfast was inedible, so I did not eat at the hotel but was charged $100! I complained and they said they took it off but so far I do not see a reversal on my CC. For some reason every time I had to use wifi it made me log in over and over. It was annoying and overall, the internet was very slow. The keys as well needed to be reprogramed over and over for some reason... all 4 keys kept experiencing issues. Which was also annoying being that sometimes they would choose not to work in the elevator making us not being able to get off on the floor and riding up and down in the elevator until it finally opened on the ground floor again. This happened a few different times to both me and then my daughter separate from me, as well as my mom. I was wondering if I was going to need to call for help, but thankfully after a few rides, it opened to the ground floor where we recharged our key. lol We used the pull out and called the desk for extra pillows- they never came. Had to request them again the next night. We did get them. The room itself was big (two queens and a couch) and housecleaning did a nice job.

Room with 2 queen beds was booked and paid in full 2 months in advance. Upon our arrival the room was not available, and room with one king bed and sofa-bed (extremely uncomfortable)was given. Three of is ended up sleeping in one bed. Staff was refusing to take any responsibility for that and was blaming booking.com for overselling. Had to call booking.com twice the next day trying to resolve this - agents were absolutely useless and were providing confusing and contradictory information.

The room was very large and comfortable. We have 3 kids, and the space worked well for us with 2 beds and a sofa pull out. Breakfast was great with many selections, warm and cold. We walked to the Mall, took the Metro from Foggy Bottom, and called Ubers - all were extremely easy to get around in the city.

I liked the cleanliness of the property and that they had breakfast. The rooms were a nice large size and modern looking Although the location was central, it was located right beside a fire station so you heard sirens multiple times a day and night

Perfect room though just an interior building view, nice and quiet. Excellent pool was actually adequate for a lap swim and nice gym too. Superb coffee shop on the corner, and stick with the valet parking, the private garage next door only saves a few dollars… :)

He was even courteous enough to share restaurant options and give us detailed directions on how to get there. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was really comfortable and although the shower didn’t look any different from other hotel showers for some reason it felt amazing. I thought it was just me but my friend also agreed and the water stayed hot. Walls are a little thin, we could hear others talking but it wasn’t bothersome enough to take away from my 5 star review. The parking garage is a little tricky to navigate as it is not connected to the hotel. The hotel also has valet if you need to use your car during your trip. Since everything we needed was in close proximity to the hotel (great food choices and shopping) we decided to leave the car in the garage and walk during our weekend girls getaway. Would definitely stay again, actually looking forward to it.

1- Called front desk several times from outside to ask checkout time, no one picked up the phone. Called 4 times. 2- Sheets were not clean. There was a stain on my sheet that I had to clean myself and the bedding didn’t smell clean. It made a bad impression

We arrived the night of our check-in after a 6 hour drive to wait 45 mins at the front while they figured out where to put us since they said they were sold out of 2 bed rooms. I pre paid the reservation for a 2-bed room and they said they only had rooms with 1 bed available. Their excuse was that they had our room but it was ‘broken’. In the end they put is in a neighboring hotel that we had to check out of the next day to check back into the Hyatt to finally get our room. After going out for the day we returned to no valet service (the valet guy was gone) and the front desk guy had 12 people waiting in line to check in so he couldn’t valet the cars for another hour, we spent 1 hour waiting for the damn valet because we couldn’t drop the keys off since our car was parked illegally, although they tried to tell us to leave the key- i demanded a ticket since what they were asking was absurd- to leave my illegally parked car unwatched. I’ve stayed at many hyatts and have never had these issues, would never come back - the front desk guy “Rich” had an attitude the whole time, opposite of welcoming.

Dining options of outside offer a variety. I Would recommend parking using the ParkMobile app instead of valet or the parking garage. Netflix would not work on the TV in front desk told us they could not help because they were the only person at the desk at the moment. Bedding was thin and view was of another building. Very nice location and a great value. The hotel makes it very clear about what is included and what is extra, so there are no surprises. There are parking options in the area that are more cost-effective than the hotel's service, if that is a concern..

Their parking says $ 31 labeled at the gate but they changed me $81 says $ 70 over night and $18 tax. Also, there was no AC all night and was not what I expected in general.

Clean and no issues, the food should not be 13 dollars a person tho make you go straight to the bathroom and valet shouldn’t be $60 when it’s only one valet driver getting the car

We stayed here for our granddaughter's 18th birthday. It worked out very well. Her and her friends could shop, we had an excellent dinner at Ocean Prime and the hotel staff was very accomodating.

Room appeared to be clean when I first checked in, but then I noticed bathroom had hair all over, sink & vanity were still dirty from makeup, etc. stains on comforter. I would not go back.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, the location was perfect, and everything was very clean. We really enjoyed our time there — everything was just excellent!

My hotel stay was outstanding! The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was clean and quiet with great amenities. I found the room AC to be too loud for sleeping, but was able to turn it off. The hot buffet breakfast was fabulous, with a terrific selection and delicious food. I highly recommend this hotel. Hyatt truly needs to overhaul their parking system for this facility. The valet is not stationed where he should be. It takes 40 minutes to get your car. It’s not worth the $60 service you are charged and self parking would be a better option. There is no option to call for your car ahead of time. Speaking with the valet, his concerned was there he will eventually be replaced by AI.

The housekeeper or office stuff stolen our souvenirs from our room, while we're out for others touring/sightseeing but they're completely ignore and pretend nothing happen. This is very terrible. Please note that, there are thieves in the hotel.

Great hotel- clean, staff were friendly and helpful, water pressure and temperature of the shower was awesome. Great location. Only down side is the parking situation- it’s much cheaper to park in a parking garage instead of using their parking service.

Residence at Union market to go to Chase Bank, which has an outside ATM and the lady at the counter told me that all the banks were closed. I told her I would be right back so I went home went to the bank and then I returned and she said oh you’re back and I said yes my bank is always open. I’m not sure about yours, but mine is The following night and asked could I buy a bottle of champagne and the guy said you could do it later on the day this is the African man I said OK what time he said at seven he had a rude attitude and nasty tone in his voice. It was only on my last day that a Spanish lady. She was quite loud over the phone, but I called from my room and asked to extend for late check out. She helped me sign up to become a member member and we did late check out, that was the only positive moment between staff, This hotel is lovely though the location the amenities everything is pretty good. I will stay here again. The staff needs serious work and etiquette classes immediately to be honest.

The property was nice, valet was a lil pricey for one day, but the parking garage being the next option was pretty convenient so no real complaints. Would stay again.

Expedia promised me free parking at this hotel. That was a misrepresentation. I'm disappointed in Expedia.

Really liked the property and staff

Overall, my stay was okay. My shower was broken when I arrived which was upsetting. The parking situation was also disappointing— I was expecting valet services to be urgent and punctual. Overall, my stay was okay!

However, I did have a couple of disappointments. When we arrived, there was a dirty blue towel hanging on the sofa in the room, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning. Additionally, I had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and was told she would receive a special treat, but unfortunately, that never happened. While these details took away from what could have been an exceptional stay, the hotel still provided a comfortable and convenient experience. With a little more attention to detail, it could have been perfect.

Spend a LITTLE extra and go somewhere that’s worth it. Ended up staying at the Hilton near the Wharf and it was SO much better! The Hyatt needs a complete maintenance and staff renovation. Love that the front desk lady laughed and said “sorry you don’t like us” when I checked out a day early.

Enjoyed our room and felt everything was very clean. Thought the $14 breakfast was not worth it. It’s basically what you would get as a complimentary breakfast at other hotels. You are much better off going across the street to Call Your Mother Deli or next door to Tatte Bakery and Cafe both had delicious options. I’ve also never stayed at a hotel that did not provide guests with coffee/tea. Those were only available if you spent $14 on breakfast which I find ridiculous. Besides those things I did give the hotel 4 stars because the location was great, we walked everywhere, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was nice but the staff weren’t

The hotel AC was very loud we couldn’t sleep we complained for front desk and they offer us free breakfast. Which we don’t care about the breakfast. We had two rooms in the different levels both room AC were very loud. We were setting on the lobby from 5 am until 8 am to avoid the AC blower.

A helpful hint regarding parking. We chose not to utilize the $60 valet parking and instead chose the public garage next to the hotel entrance. That garage was safe, well lit, and cost $40 for our approximately 24 hour stay. Would recommend parking in that garage.

But I was more shocked when I went to the front desk where I’ve been told that it will be cleaned for next guest. I said absolutely no and asked to send maintenance right away.

The only issue was valet. It took a long time to get our car because the person to get our car hadn’t arrived to work.

Breakfast spread was good. Hotel seened short staffed though with 1 person doing multiple jobs. Would not recommend Valet parking. It took 20-30min at 1 point to get car out of garage.

The hotel is walkable to some of the attractions. Along with great places to eat.

The negatives: Our room was not as advertised when we booked it. It was smaller than the standard rooms as if they converted a storage area. The layout made no sense as we couldnt open the sleeper sofa for our son without moving the dresser. The a/c was insufficient leaving our small room at about 78 degrees. The pool was nice however it was not being heated as advertised and became uncomfortably cold by day 3. The parking is a scam. They charge $60 a night to park in the garage next door. We went there on our own and paid $85 instead of $180.

Lovely clean hotel 30ins walk from the Lincoln memorial. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ($14) is great value as you can have cereal, hot foo, Bagels etc and unlimited juice and coffee. Would definitely use again. Located more in the west end than Georgestown.

The hotel staff was nice and the hotel was clean. The area it is in was about a 10 minute walk to Metro lines. We had no complaints about the hotel. The immediate area didn't seem to have a lot of family-friendly dining options in less than a 10 minute walk, which was the only downside.

This was a great hotel, staff were polite, location was great for everywhere and hotel was clean. Room was good size with comfy bed and the pool and gym was a bonus.

This area is really great, the hotel rooms are large, and it’s walkable from a lot of things. To us. The hotel location is perfect, clean and updated. The breakfast is okay. The staff were not the friendliest. Would say maybe like 2/5 experience with the staff there. But you just can’t beat a clean hotel room.

The manager was amazing! The first room we were put in had an issue with the TV. We spoke up and the manager moved us to another room which ended up being bigger. Wonderful stay, very clean, very nice.

There was no internet for the whole stay. When I booked the trip the booking sight did not say that breakfast was extra and that there was only paid parking options that were extremely expensive. The staff at the front desk were very friendly.

I did not meet one polite staff member. There was no WiFi the whole visit. The windows were not good at blocking out noise and the city noise made for little sleep. There were also not great instructions on breakfast and valet. Plus I called the day before to ask about valet service and was told something different by 2 different people.

I love Hyatt hotels but two things I don't like and I will never choose it again because of the valet they changed me 60$ for one night and they said the breakfast included but I need to pay 11$+ tax for person.

The hotel was well situated walking distance to Georgetown and all the other attractions such as The White House. Staff were efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and had a really good shower.

Best part was the assistance I received from Derek the valet.He is very good at his job,he saved me time and money with his advise on site seeing and dining.everything thing at your establishment was great Derek was greater!
