Very clean. My room was spotless. I loved the 3pm checkin and 12pm checkout! Breakfast is included and actually good. ALL of the staff greets you when they see you. Great location if you’re going to a concert/ show at The Anthem.

What an AMAZING hotel! I was not expecting such a nice stay here, but I was definitely surprised in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE! The staff was super friendly and helpul; the premises was incredibly immaculate and clean. It looked fresh and well maintained. The cleaning staff was super friendly and the rooms were kept beautifully. Breakfast was always served fresh, hot and with a good selection of items. Even the waitstaff was on top of things, always refilling the items that were running low and picking up dirty plates behind the guests while they were still seated (which sometimes isn't even done by most restaurant servers anymore until after guests leave). They did an excellent job at everthing to be honest. And the check-in times and check-out times were the most reasonable I've ever seen. If there's one thing that I would have some comment on, it's the parking. Availabity is limited around the area and overnight stay parking costs $65/night. Which is definitely pricey and can add up rather quickly. I feel like parking should be included in the stay when you're a hotel client, but I'm just a guest. Other than that, the hotel is definitely one I would think of returning to if I were ever in the area again. =)

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was extremely professional and welcoming. Room was clean and breakfast was great.
- 5/5
The hotel is great and then a very nice area. The rooms are nice but a little on the small side. There are a lot of steps, but you can also use the elevator. Also, the elevator to the rooms is a little confusing until you got to know what it was, but overall a great place to stay
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and great location. Breakfast was a little disappointing

Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff. Felt very safe. Good security practice with the secure card access to use elevators and such. Not enough bright lighting in the room when applying makeup in front of mirrors when getting ready for going out, nite life.

The pool was awesome for the kiddos and we really enjoyed the courtyard to have some drinks while the kids played outside. The bartender made the BEST cocktails!! Also, the location was perfect was perfect for us.
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect for my wife and I. It's a 4 minute walk to the Anthem. The staff were great, the room was perfectly clean. The breakfast was amazing everything you could want hot or cold. The only downside was our room was facing the city instead of the beautiful river. Next time we will be requesting a river view. The staff were great always saying hi and making my wife and I had everything we needed.
- 5/5
Convenient location staff was more than helpful breakfast was good and we liked that you had to have a room key to enter
- 5/5
My family and I went to DC to see a concert at the anthem. The hotel is within a two minute walk to the anthem and is surrounded by all sorts of restaurants both sit down and take out. It was the perfect place to stay to see a show. It was incredibly safe and the valet parking made it very convenient. I do recommend this property highly.
- 5/5
Convenient location to multiple venues
- 5/5
Perfect location for our concert at Anthem and so close to all kinds of food!
- 5/5
I loved how clean it was. The staff is helpful and so friendly. Great location from “The Anthem” which is why I stayed here for the concert that I was attending. Definitely would stay with them again!
- 5/5
Really liked this place. Very friendly staff. Super strange room set up and a bit hard to find driving in at night but being right there in the water with tons of walkable goodies made it worth it.
- 4/5
Great location. Close to so many things! The noise level can be a lot on the weekends. I could still hear partying ( music, loud talking) at 1am from my room. Noise after midnight
- 5/5
The location is great! The hotel itself is very nice! The staff are all friendly, the rooms and the rest of hotel looks clean. They had complementary breakfast which was very good: Includes scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a few varieties of meat, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal, etc. We highly recommend!
- 3/5
Closet doors were difficult to open/close Limited drawer space Ice machine was broken the whole week on our floor Room was clean, staff was very cordial, we loved the breakfast, great location
- 5/5
I always stay here it's beautifuland clean The look of the rooms
- 4/5
The location is very nice, nearby restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The only issue I had was parking, which kind of made me opt for the valet, which is a bit pricey. I think the hotel should offer better rates for their guests to park. Other than that, the breakfast was ok and the room was nice along with great staff.
- 3/5
Didn’t really like the breakfast or the options for food inside the hotel.

- 5/5
Five stars! I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt House The Wharf. The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel feels very safe and features some really nice amenities. You absolutely cannot beat the location—it is situated directly on The Wharf, meaning you can easily walk to tons of great restaurants and bars right outside the door. The whole area just has a fantastic vibe. I highly recommend staying here!
- 5/5
Room & staff were amazing. Highly recommend the valet parking.

Continental breakfast was delicious with a fair amount of options, and wasn’t too busy for a Sunday morning around 9am. Pillows and mattress were comfortable. Bar was a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected. Overall, a chill hotel with perks.

I’ve noticed some decline in what I consider to be part of a delightful hotel experience. The ice machine was broken on our floor. They did not inform us of that upon check-in. When we did inquire, were told that “they were being phased out and that we could get our ice from 2 floors up.” Other little details were missed. End table was very rickety and falling apart. The digital clock did not work ans actually had corroded batteries in it. No instructions for the tv. No streamibg apps in the smart tv, the only way you can stream is to mirror a personal device, which seems to only work for android and not iOS. Just minor things, but they all add up. Otherwise the staff is friendly. Everything is clean. They offer a decent continental breakfast. And the location tops it all. So will likely return.

Great property in the most perfect location! The front desk personnel were the best - especially Donovan!

Good price. Great location
- 5/5
Super clean quiet room with 2 Queen beds. Safe. Accesible and next to our concert’s venue. Lots to do with out a car.
- 5/5
Love the location of the hotel and love the staff. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. There were many good restaurants available for dinner. The hotel breakfasts included with your room were EXCELLENT! We spent 4 days exploring Washington DC. The staff told us about the SW shuttle with a stop at the L'Enfant metro station; spy museum, air and space museum, and the zoo.
- 5/5
Nice clean place
- 5/5
We had a King room with full kitchen. Perfect for the 2 of us. location was walkable and bikeable to National Mall. Plenty of restaurants on waterfront and easy access for tour boats. Breakfast was fine. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Upon check in, I asked for a late check out and was told the fees associated with times. I said I would would be fine with a fee. arrived at 9pm and wandered the Wharf (beautiful will definitely stay in this area again) l didn’t realize the issues with the room until the next morning. Next to the bed, the floor was soaking wet and the bathroom door would not close. I called to say i wanted to stay late regardless because i wanted to go to the zoo and come back and change, freshen up. I was told we needed to check out by 12:30 because the room was going to be closed for maintenance. Why would they assign a room that required maintenance after they knew i wanted a late check out? If I was staying with anyone, I would not be ok with the door not closing because the room shape is small and awkward and the bathroom is right across from the bed. I booked this room as soon as I checked in because Expedia’s rates were better so it’s not like I had this reservation in advance and was assigned a room. The front desk even said Expedia assigned an ADA accessible room and asked if I needed it then assigned 924 knowing there were issues and maintenance scheduled
- 3/5
My family’s experiance was pretty good. The only negatives was the beds were so uncomfortable and it took us a while to get used to the elevators, they don’t have floor numbers inside. Also you cannot get dropped off in front of the hotel. You have to get dropped off by the turnaround. The entrance is little hidden within buildings.
- 5/5
Although we had a little trouble finding the lobby at first, the staff was excellent and the property and room were very clean. We had a great view and enjoyed drinks during happy hour. The location is ideal, with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. I also appreciated how secure the hotel felt. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Great stay! Room clean, good breakfast and location.
- 4/5
Will be back for sure
- 5/5
The staff sas vddy wel ominv
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. A few things changed daily and added some variety to our stay.
- 5/5
Location is perfect. Parking is $60 overnight.
- 5/5
I loved the woman greeting us each day at breakfast. She was so pleasant! She made my day each morning. The food was delicious.
- 5/5
The hotel is conveniently located by The Wharf, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It offers complimentary breakfast, and the rooms are cleaned daily. You can walk to the Tidal Basin in about 20 minutes.
- 5/5
Great people, room and staff.
- 4/5
The breakfast staff was amazing. They deserve a great deal of credit, especially since the breakfast was in a conference room for awhile while the breakfast area was remodeled. The housekeeping manager was awful. We had 3 children and 2 adults in our room. I explained that I had a medical situation which required several pillows in order to sleep. I requested 6 pillows. I was told no. Additionally, at 31 degrees outside we were given no additional blankets and the thermostat would not adjust. It was stuck at 70 and no variance in level or circulation option. Housekeeping for our room was wonderful. Front desk was very professional and Donathan was wonderful. Location is excellent. Dining options are okay. Beautiful walking area.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice and friendly staff, breakfast was so good, and the drinks and snacks at the Bar were great.
- 5/5
Our room was huge! Bed is comfy. Breakfast is great lots of options and the staff especially at the breakfast area were so kind and respectful.
- 5/5
We had a great visit during peak cherry blossom time. Despite the hotel being very busy, our room was very quiet. We didn't hear anyone until we were actually out in the hallway. The lobby and elevator area were under light construction during our visit, but it did not cause any major issues. Breakfast was busy and sometimes we had to wait for a table, but it was never a very long wait. Lots of hot and cold options to start your day! The room was a good size and fully outfitted with a larger than usual fridge, a microwave, a stove, and a dishwasher. Housekeeping staff did a terrific job tidying up our room when we were out during the day. Front desk staff was always cheerful! The location was awesome - just a 20 minute walk to the mall and lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside was parking. We struggled to find an open space in the closest parking deck, so we ended up having to park further away and walking with all of our luggage.
- 4/5
The room was clean. Hit the breakfast early or miss out!
- 5/5
Breakfast was ok. Never did the bar.
- 5/5
I want to make a special shout out to their staff member named Charlie, as he was very helpful with driving directions and in-person friendliness.
- 3/5
Bar was fair when it was open. Property was under construction but no one let us know about this lettle problem.
- 5/5
Amazing location! A bit difficult to find the parking garage. Room was beautiful and extremely clean. Restaurants downstairs and a nice area to walk around. Free shuttle to Museums. Ask front desk for information.
- 2/5
The bed was far too soft and uncomfortable, leading to poor sleep each night. Breakfast was low quality with limited hours, and the staff were not accommodating for early departures. Parking fees were also unreasonably high.
- 5/5
This DC Hotel was perfect for our stay. The front desk at check-in were super and suggested a small upgrade for the view. The breakfast was ok and the wharf area was great during the day. We were in the area for the Cherry blossom festival at peak bloom so the area was pretty crowded. This hotel did not disappoint!
- 3/5
The AC vent fell on my daughter as it was not screwed properly. It wounded her nose and it could have been much more fatal but praise God for his protection. They did refund us her stay at least.
- 5/5
Great location, good breakfast, very convenient
- 4/5
Best things were the buffet breakfast and location.
- 2/5
Wouldn't recommend staying here. Missing lots of the basics like enough pillows and towels for the number of people staying in our room.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
Room phone is not working No milk available for our toddler The room is not the river view we specifically booked
- 5/5
Excellent location with many great restaurants nearby. The room was clean. The free breakfast was decent and staff were very kind.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and friendly. Excellent complimentary breakfast choices. Close to great dining options. Great views from rooms and rooftop bar.
- 5/5
standard breakfast. Very crowded.
- 5/5
Breakfast is always fredh
- 5/5
Breakfast was good considering it’s part of the booking. The only thing is I booked for 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds& a kitchenette & unfortunately when I went up to my room & I got only 2 Queen beds but no kitchen & very tiny table & it’s kind of dark when you eat.It was so disappointing.😩because I invited 2 family members to also book there so we can have a get together celebration for a night in our room since we have a bigger table & a kitchen.. we ended up booking in a restaurant for our Anniversary.😩😩😩
- 4/5
Breakfast every morning while we were there. the Staff helped us plan trips using a free shuttle. Beautiful view from our hotel room of the water. The only complaint is that the water was not strong enough. I have a lot of hair and it took forever to wash it out. Other than that, I love it and will go back someday!
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was awesome breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Overall good stay.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location, free breakfast bar good
- 5/5
The hotel overall was nice and clean! I appreciated the staff’s hospitality. I would definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
The design was odd and the elevators slow
- 5/5
Friendly and attentive staff, great location!
- 4/5
I gave four stars because of the water pressure in the shower and the low spots in the mattress. But I would stay here again because of the location to the National Mall and surrounding museums.
- 4/5
Water pressure was poor. View and location good. Parking ridiculous.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful id love to come back in the summer
- 5/5
Beautiful waterfront property with stunning views and friendly service. Excellent breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Beyond clean, amazing and kind staff, delicious food. Beautiful view - river view definitely worth the extra money
- 5/5
Doing renovation but still better than the last time we've stayed
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 3/5
Initially placed in a room that had guests!!Then placed in one with less accommodation for my guests...Reminded asst manager that l had booked 2 queen size beds ...her answer is we don't have that, ck with yr third party carrier!!...later texted me while l was out to dinner and said she had one for me, and would offer me a bottle of champagne to compensate for a bad start to my birthday celebration... so it was a sour sweet experience!
- 4/5
Check in on second floor with no bell hop to assist. Staff really nice and helpful!
- 4/5
Great wharf location! I stayed four nights and overall had a great experience. It was a little loud in the area on Friday night, but it didn't bother me too much. Nice breakfast and the staff was A+.
- 5/5
Nice hotel clean but we have problem on the parking building our car somebody hit our car 2days parking in that parking garage 😔and that was my bday stay at wharf Hyatt house
- 5/5
Super nice!!
- 5/5
Great staff, always stay here when I'm at the wharf
- 5/5
Very nice Hotel
- 3/5
Bar staff was very rude
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
I complained to the front desk and have not heard back. I had to ask the person at the front desk to take my information after telling him what happened. Larger concern is that a small child could get seriously hurt from the weight of this panel that is only secured by an internal push button.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean. $75 hold for damages or loss. They have valet for $70+ and self parking in the garage is $62 for 24 hours (per day). These are things people may need to know. Great location but very busy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Buffet style breakfast was ok. Your typical continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Room and hotel were very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Room was very clean. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was warm and friendly.
- 5/5
Great rooms, location and amenities!
- 5/5
Donathan was great! He was absolutely wonderful and kind to us.
- 5/5
all of the eateries around there
- 5/5
Clean Room, Amenities, Friendly Staff, & Great Breakfast Options. Only suggestion I would make is to add more options for breakfast since I did not see any oatmeal or grits available,
- 3/5
Room was okay and staff tried to accommodate.
- 3/5
pillows were lumpy fridge was really noisy not a great place would not recommend
- 5/5
Awesome room and even better staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful. 10/10
- 4/5
Nice hotel on the Wharf close to everything.
- 5/5
This hotel is the bees knees. They got us right in even though we were early. Anything we needed they helped us with a smile. 2 guys specifically. Donathan and another young man (they seemed like friends) whos name i cant remember. They deserve a raise. Absolutely hands down amazing experience. The free breakfast was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I loved it all. Unfortunately we couldnt go up and look at the pool. I know its January and its closed but we like to explore hotels so we were bummed we couldnt at least go look. Plus im sure the view up there is amazing. Not a big deal but we love hotel adventures. Right above the boardwalk arcade bar which was fun and absolutely perfect when going to the anthem for a show. Valet was fast and efficient and super friendly. Bartender was SUPER generous (maybe too generous...im too old to drink like that!) My go-to wharf hotel. We will be back!
- 5/5
Awesome spot.
- 5/5
The staff were so kind and helpful! The rooms were clean and fresh!
- 3/5
Poor cleaning. Lots of dust and dirt left behind by previous guests (pills, papers, and even chewed gum). Parking is very expensive and not very convenient. Low-quality towels and toilet paper
- 5/5
I always stay at this hotel when I’m in DC. Staff is very friendly. Hotel bar staff makes a great margarita. I’ll be back.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, comfortable clean room. Amazing location.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Bit of a stuffy smell in a hallway.
- 4/5
It was a beautiful location and beautiful building. Upon entering the lobby, elevator and the room, it was obvious that it was dated and in serious need of renovations. Fortunately, they had already started in the the top floor. Hopefully, it will be done swiftly and well. Oh and get rid of all your down blankets that appear moldy from within. We had to request for the hotel staff to take them away. We couldn’t imagine sleeping on a bed with those blankets.
- 5/5
Everything was nice
- 1/5
It was very difficult to get a parking.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
great hotel! would stay again
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others. The only negatives were that the elevator was really annoying to use. Everyone seemed to have issues with it. The breakfast wasn't very good. The sheets and pillowcases were clean but did have some stains on them. All of these issues were very minor and didn't really take away from an otherwise very nice stay
- 5/5
Property is always clean and the service are great! Thank you for making our vacation memorable!

Clean and well-appointed suite in unbeatable location to enjoy activities at the Wharf. Waterfront Metro is a convenient 10 minute walk.

Great staff.

The room was small but efficient. The staff was all very friendly and the included breakfast was a nice bonus!
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly service.

Great location, very accommodating, clean room, friendly staff. The daily breakfast was great,we were greeted by staff throughout the breakfast.Cost of parking a bit pricy but overall it a very great stay.

Room was very clean, breakfast options excellent, staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms had full kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, dishes)

- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Perfect stay !!!!
- 5/5
Staff were amazing! Stay was great per usual.
- 2/5
The parking situation was horrendous (probably due to a local boat parade), but the valet ppl said they’re full and told to go ahead and self park. Inside, there was a guy directing some ppl to park by removing cones, but didn’t have anything for us. There were several spaces coned out like this. Drove around and got to another lot, lost an hour of of time and energy. The desk agent (Asian guy) was really helpful and apologetic. But can’t recommend this place; can’t leave guests hanging high and dry like that.
- 5/5
The friendliness of the front desk clerks, check in was easy,
- 5/5
Breakfast looked good but wasn’t. Typical free hotel breakfast. Front desk staff was excellent especially Senissie!
- 5/5
Very clean room, great breakfast options.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful, bathroom had a little mold. Stay was enjoyable.
- 5/5
My room with a river view was just perfect. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt House very much and would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Beautiful view, easy access to the Anthem venue.
- 1/5
Overpriced for what you get. Parking is $62 a night. Rooms are very small. No complimentary water in the rooms. The staff were not friendly. I ordered food at the bar & it took 2 hrs to come out. It is very clean but that’s the only good thing I have to say. As a frequent visitor of DC I will not be staying here again. Definitely the worst I’ve experienced in the area.

Great service. Convenient location

Location is awesome
- 4/5
All was well
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and the room was very good. The neighborhood was very noisy late at night and into the morning is our only complaint.
- 4/5
The room was spotless, staff was friendly
- 5/5
Daria at the front desk was excellent. Room was spotless and service has been flawless. Breakfast buffet provided a wide selection and was surprisingly good. Loved my experience at Hyatt House!
- 4/5
Everything was lovely! i only wish the pool was year round and the breakfast was served longer than 10 am!
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Nice room and nice staff!
- 5/5
Great hotel in a convenient location and beautiful area. The Wharf has tons of restaurants and a nice walkable path by the water. Some shopping and close to tourist sites. The breakfast really impressed me with its variety and higher quality options for a hotel breakfast like omelettes and hash browns. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a little small but for a city hotel, it was fine since we weren’t in the room much anyway. Parking was pricey but convenient. Overall, a great option for DC!
- 4/5
Breakfast was terrible. Skip it
- 5/5
Great experience! Staff were very friendly, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Will stay here again … and again!
- 4/5
Breakfast had variety and was healthy
- 5/5
The shower needed to be cleaned better in the corners black mold, the beds weren't that comfortable as I remembered them. It was a nice stay other than the things mentioned.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean room. Nice environment

Perfect location! Very clean with a friendly staff. Walking distance to so many places and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again
- 5/5
I liked that they provided turkey sausage option for breakfast and room was nice.
- 4/5
Very clean room, but the hotel isn’t as upscale as expected and it needs some attention to fixing small issues. Things are just a bit more beat up than they should be.
- 5/5
Absolutely a must when in DC!! The view, location and hotel is great. I would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Staff is great
- 5/5
The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant to interact with
- 5/5
Pillows in bed could be a little more firm or have a variety of the 4 on the bed. Would be nice to have the bellhop take the luggage to the room, not self serve.
- 3/5
Staff were very kind. Bathroom lock in room was broken so the door wouldn’t stay closed because it’s a sliding door. The room layout with the tv in the middle of the room is bizarre. Convenient location.

Great hotel, in newer area of DC
- 5/5
Room was very nice and clean, Staff were nice and very helpful! They gave me a goodie bag upon check in. Rl

- 5/5
Very good stay
- 4/5
Small room but clean. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. Nice Wharf location although it is noisy with outdoor music playing in restaurant below the hotel.
- 5/5
Nice location.
- 5/5
Good in overall
- 1/5
Bem localizado porem nao tem nada no hotel...
- 5/5
Clean room, good staff. Breakfast buffet was better than expected - hot fresh & lots of choices
- 5/5
Location could not be more perfect along the Wharf and walking distance to everything. Self parking is very easy in the garage. I stayed for 5 days. Room was spacious and clean. There’s a nice outdoor terrace and grassy space with seating for people watching and river views. Staff at front desk were super helpful and friendly. Only minor annoyance - not the hotel’s fault- was a neighboring bar stayed open late and their customers were loud while they were leaving. Otherwise a perfect stay. My favorite hotel stay this year!
- 5/5
Great location, Courteous staff and nice clean comfortable room
- 4/5
Everything was fine..
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel, staff awesome, location is fab and dog friendly too! Lived everything about it.
- 5/5
everything was
- 5/5
We didn't do much but check in. Went to our event and came back to eat at the restaurants near by. The free breakfast was really good! Room was pretty clean. I would book again if I am back in the area.
- 5/5
Very Nice! Excellent location. Clean.
- 5/5
I didn’t stay the full night but everything was perfect
- 5/5
Room was clean, front desk staff was very courteous. Breakfast was really nice.
- 5/5
Nice stay in a great area
- 5/5
Staff Senessie at reception really helped a lot for our check in.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
This is my second time staying at the Hyatt on the Wharf. The views are great, the location is amazing. The room and bathrooms are clean with great amenities. The breakfast was delicious. This time I felt the bed was not as nice. The mattress in that room needs replaced. It was incredibly uncomfortable compared to the previous stay. Other than that, I highly recommend this location.
- 5/5
Great and super friendly staff! Location cannot be beat
- 4/5
Excellent location and its clean and well designed - nothing to fault
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Great area for walks and socialising.
- 5/5
The breakfast good and each morning it was something different which I like, but the room was either outdated or not maintained. It had scuffs and stains all over from the walls to the lamps and the furniture. I appreciated the friendly staff, water available in the lobby, clean gym, clean breakfast area and HBar was nice.
- 5/5
Breakfast was hit- miss re out of products…
- 5/5
Short stay but very nice location is amazing
- 5/5
Competent staff , close to the airport , comfortable room and great location
- 2/5
The stay overall gave me a unsatisfied feeling. I choose to stay here due to the convenience in location. Which is. But the valet is almost useless and very expensive for the lack of attention and service. Paying $65 dollars a night for someone to have to be chased down in order to grab your car. The link sent to the phone to request vehicle doesn’t work well. I got it to work 2 times while staying here 4 days. You will have to wait 15-25 minutes just for them to get the car at times. And that’s not including you finding them in a room not tending to the customers waiting outside. And when you call the hotel front desk for assistance with getting into contact with the valet. They say you only got 2 options which is use the broken link, or go all the way downstairs and outside to the other hotel and find the men yourself. The hotel space itself was okay. You have to take two separate elevators just to get to your room. The space of the room I reserved was small, I would say not a lot of space for the price you’re paying. The area around the hotel is beautiful with many great dining areas. I would stay in the wharf again. But would do more research for a better hotel.

- 5/5
Staff is great. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Fun location. Excellent breakfast selection.
- 5/5
Friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Location was excellent- right on the Wharf with great restaurants and nightlife while still being close to the DC Monuments.
- 5/5
Excellent location, amazing staff, clean room, good breakfast
- 5/5
The accommodation’s were excellent. Fabulous breakfast. Terrific Bar. The staff was top notch and professional hospitality!
- 5/5
Very appreciative of being about to get a room with a bathtub.
- 5/5
Great location in DC. The Wharf alone offers plenty to see, do, and EAT! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Views were amazing. Lovely property.
- 5/5
If you are trying to decide which hotel to book at the Wharf- look no further!! Convenient, clean, beautiful property…but above all else, it was the service for me. The staff here is stellar!! Competent, friendly and warm. Cannot wait to come back!!
- 5/5
The property was amazing and great customer service. They even upgraded us without us even requesting a upgrade. Highly recommended.
- 4/5
The location is great. The hotel has potential but it already seems poorly kept for being as new as it is. For example, the ice machine on the 3rd floor sounds like a watery disaster in the making. The bartender Saturday night was condescensing and rude to me and other guests. However, the lady at the bar Friday afternoon, Donathan, and the other ladies at the hostess desk were great and helpful to everyone who approached them. The security and parking are complicated but you get used to it.
- 5/5
Best location to stay at wharf, accessible, comfortable and not costly
- 5/5
Good hotel on the water with lots of restaurants and live music venues
- 5/5
Clean, convenient with good amenities
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and rooms were so clean!
- 5/5
Elevator was difficult to navigate
- 3/5
The staff were great. The hotel didn’t have an atm and doesn’t have anyway to get cash. The laundry room was nice but it was so old fashioned in 2025 we are still using change. Kinda takes away from the Brand for sure. Great area, great price but maybe a bit high for not offering parking or atm,
- 5/5
Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! Special thank you to Sensie ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) he was warm friendly and extremely polite and professional.
- 5/5
I would stay again if I come back to DC
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
The only vegan options were the usual suspects cereal and bagels. The ac in our room is apparently motion sensored so everytime we left the room it would stop pumpung out cold air. Had to borrow a box fan from management to combat thr heat. Had to pay an additional 62 dollars to park the car even though the room was 280 dollars. Seems a little much to not have some type of parking discount or validation.
- 5/5
Amazng
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good. The staf was friendly and attentive. There was one lady who just made you deel so welcomed.
- 5/5
Amazing stay
- 5/5
Staff was awesome from the desk to the house keepers. Felt like I was on a cruise ship.
- 1/5
It was a terrible stay, I booked for two days but only stayed the first day and checked out & was charged for the whole stay.
- 3/5
Rooms were comfortable, but garbage disposal was broken in our room so the kitchen sink clogged immediately, only a few of the outlets worked, and there were no luggage carts available at checkout.
- 5/5
Nice room - great view and morning breakfast hall.
- 4/5
The gym was amazing and the staff was very professional. Once in the your room, you could not hear the outside noise which was great. Parking price was completely crazy. For the price to stay, I should not had to pay another $130 just to park my vehicle. Once I arrived on Saturday, I never moved my vehicle until Monday morning when I checked out. So I paid to park and Uber if it was too far to walk.
- 4/5
Bitten by dust mites daily in room. Fire alarm light blinking brightly un bedrooms and unable to sleep.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was really friendly and location was great.
- 5/5
Great location, breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
The property and staff is stellar. The location is fantastic. You are right in the middle of entertainment, restaurants galore. Breakfast buffet is quite nice. My only complaints were it was impossible for Uber drivers to find the hotel. I constantly got dropped off blocks away. Also the property should update it’s tech a bit. TV instructions for streaming was bogus, at least for the set in my room. The hotel app was useless and makes references to pool hours in 2023. Its, now 2025. Just needs some updates. I still had a wonderful stay and would come back again. HIghly recommended.
- 5/5
Live everything about this place. Parking is the hardest thing. So crowded on the weekend. Was unable to park near the hotel to check in. Had to park like 3 blocks down to check i
- 5/5
Expedia customer service has been horrible they messed up my reservations at my first hotel but the hotel I'm staying at is wonderful but I've spent over $15,000 and Expedia has treated me like a dog or worse messing up everything I'm so disappointed
- 5/5
I had a fantastic time with the overall with everything
- 5/5
The bed was so comfortable and the sheets - so nice! Thank you for providing nice quality, it does matter. also the shower was clean and new :)
- 4/5
Great facility. Great breakfast Covenient dining options
- 5/5
Staff was really great and helpful. Had positive interactions with everyone. Parking was a nightmare, but I think due to the concert happening next door.
- 3/5
Hallway on 6th floor smelled musty and not clean. Bed was very low to the ground so it made it hard to get out of and it was a very uncomfortable mattress. Almost no counter space around the sink. Staff was very nice.
- 3/5
Only thing that will steer you away is the $63 overnight parking each day
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Approach and parking is awkward (shared with another hotel). Extremely convenient to Arena Stage theater. Very upscale neighborhood. Breakfast above average.
- 5/5
Property was nice and clean , location is 10/10 and breakfast was pretty good for it to continental.
- 5/5
Great and respectful
- 5/5
I loved the location and the vibe. We travelled with two teenage kids and it was a good comfortable stay. Breakfast is really good, with helpful and courteous staff around. We had booked a family room with a capacity of 4 occupants and the sofa bed could be used for two guests. Housekeeping staff gave us extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. However, the sofa bed's middle section appeared to be sunken, causing an uneven surface - it wasn't drastically uncomfortable, it wasn’t perfectly flat, which made it less supportive. The room was NOT one of those rooms that are said to offer a partial view of the river, but we DID HAVE a partial view of the river. There's a CVS nearby too. Important point - there's no free parking space. You have to pay $65 per night for valet parking (you can take the car out as many times as you want) or $62 if you park yourself (parking charge gets added each time you drive in and out).
- 5/5
Great location, very lively. Lots of dining options, safe and very walkable wharf.
- 1/5
No
- 1/5
I was checked in almost 3 hours after check in time with no offer of reimbursements. I was told they "rooms were not clean" and waited on the front desk area forced to cancel the dinner reservations I was in town for in the first place.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, easy check in even though one of our two rooms was ready really late. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom. Amazing location.
- 5/5
It is just right in the middle of everything. Excellent stay-
- 5/5
Beautiful location overlooking the river. Very nice breakfast & close to all the museums DC has to offer. Parking at the hotel was expensive—why?
- 5/5
Great location, convenient quick breakfast, and clean, comfortable hotel. So many great restaurants and venues close by I would stay again!
- 5/5
Aside from the extremely expensive parking, the stay was great!
- 4/5
.
- 2/5
Bed sheets were cheap Iron board was broken
- 4/5
Great
- 4/5
Bed and pillows were too soft. View towards river is great. Breakfast was so-so.
- 4/5
Great stay all around. The only problem is the parking. For us, it was an additional $62 a day for self parking. You gotta be more up front about that or rather offer vouchers for your customers because that’s a pretty wack amount of money.
- 5/5
Great price. Great location. Would recommend and return in the future. Considered dropping one star because the elevator is a hot confusing mess…
- 5/5
We come here every year for the DC bike ride. It's very convenient, the breakfast is great, and everything is in walking distance.
- 5/5
rooftop and common areas were always clean! GREAT experience!
- 5/5
Stayed here for my son’s 9 birthday weekend. Love that there are a lot dining options all around and walkable to historic sites like the WWII Memorial and Washington Monument. Easy garage parking and also easy to get picked up/dropped by an Uber if needed.
- 2/5
Room was not ready at check in time, extremely frustrating having to wait and deal with the situation. They had to find us a similar room, different view because ours was not available. We finally got checked it almost an hour late, making us late for our dinner reservation.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great location and very friendly staff! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!
- 3/5
Overall, while the hotel has friendly staff and clean rooms, the lack of flexibility and support from management significantly impacted my experience. I visit the Wharf often and decided to stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Amazing stay with friends. Perfect location l. Rooftop pool needs to be revamped. Old dirty cushions and just dirty look when you go up to the roof. View is great though.
- 5/5
Great stuff,view,amenities!All is top !!
- 4/5
All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was nice (although no omlett station as mentioned on the website). The location was great near two metro stations and right in the center of the wharf with tons of dining options. Will definately stay again and recommend if you're looking for a prime location for your DC stay!
- 4/5
Front desk check in and check out were amazing. Room didn’t see super clean. Phone and remote and lamp shade were crusty and a bit dirty. Everything else awesome.
- 5/5
Guest services was very nice and very helpful. Very convenient to park. The parking is underneath the hotel. You take an elevator up to the lobby. The hotel is on the pier with all of the food and entertainment you could ever want walking A+
- 4/5
Always love visiting the District Wharf and staying at the Hyatt House. It’s the perfect space in the heart of the action!
- 5/5
I love that the hotel was clean and located in a convie
- 5/5
This property has a great location right in the middle of the Wharf! !
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
The stain was excellent from the beginning all the way to the location hotel it was clean we didn’t have any problems will be back and we plan on staying at the wharf again at the cost. One of my favorite hotels in all of these we love the location. The people are friendly. I have very helpful and the rooms are excellent clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious as well. I’ll be back.
- 5/5
Had a great time, next time there I will book again
- 5/5
This was by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever been too. Breakfast buffet was super yummy, clean pool, and omg around the property was even more amazing
- 5/5
Need a better sign on Wharf st to find it and parking
- 5/5
Breakfast was so efficient, clean, with welcoming and hard working staff. Also with many food choices.
- 5/5
Shower pressure was like a great shoulder massage absolutely perfect! Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Clean. Great location in the wharf. Walk to metro and plenty of food options. Close to National Mall. Can’t go wrong
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
This is my second stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. This trip I went on a dinner cruise. The hotel is a nice 4 minute walk from the pier where you board the Spirit of Washington and the Odyssey. The free breakfast is nice, but it's best to go down early since there isn't a lot of seating. By the time my daughter was ready to go down, the area was packed with families with small children. We opted to go get food elsewhere. I reheated the leftovers the next morning in our room. The kitchenette and fridge are great if you want to save some money and eat in. There is a grocery store right by the Waterfront metro stop. I don't think a sober adult can sleep comfortably on the sofabed. Little kids can sleep anywhere.
- 3/5
Booked a room with a pull-out sofa bed and a king bed. Realized sofa bed was broken and would not pull out when family was preparing for bed. When informed front desk, learned that hotel knew sofa bed was broken at time of check-in yet did not inform me or give us a different room that could accommodate us. When discussed broken sofa bed issue with front desk, front desk assured me that a full-size, not a twin-size, rollaway bed would be provided shortly. A twin-size rollaway bed was provided. We made due with the limited sleeping space.
- 5/5
Our family will visit again!
- 4/5
It was a good experience one problem is the space they advertise isn’t as big as it appear on the website but it was comfortable
- 5/5
Lovely location and great area! Short walk to Metro. Would definitely return!
- 5/5
The wharf is stunning. The restaurants and cafés make it such a great experience.
- 3/5
Room could have been cleaner, and we had no water pressure
- 5/5
I think it's terrible to pay 250 plus a night and have to pay 200 to park.
- 5/5
really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. The location was perfect right by the wharf, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Breakfast was included and offered a great start to the day. Getting around was so convenient, with plenty of options like electric bikes and scooters that made traveling to different spots simple and fun. I loved being able to take in the views while exploring. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay!
- 4/5
Excellent location.
- 4/5
The free shuttle service to the L’Enfant metro station makes it a convenient location.
- 3/5
Finding the lobby was frustrating upon arrival. Map quest kept sending us to dead ends. Parking was expensive $65. Otherwise the hotel was clean, nice, in a great area with lots of restaurant options, paddle rentals and great views. Easily walkable to the stadium.
- 5/5
Great stay! Comfy bed sweet staff!
- 4/5
This was a staycation for me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. The room was great: clean, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, and the TV can go in the direction of the sofa or the bed. The staff was a mixed bag. Some were friendly, and some didn't even care that you existed. shout-out to Daria and Nicole at the front desk, and Aurelia at the breakfast place. I enjoyed the rooftop/pool. Lots of food options in the area. I will definitely come back. Thank you.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The hallways smelled. They could do a better job cleaning the common areas. Room was overall clean (no dust), however, it was not vacuumed. Overall moderately satisfied.
- 5/5
The property itself is excellent. However, the parking garage is a separate entity from the hotel and offers no discount nor special hotel guest pricing. It was quite expensive, but in-line considering the adjacent areas. Parking is quite a nightmare in the DC area. On a good note, Uber/Lyft are excellent options, readily available, easy pickup/drop locations, and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Great location with plenty of dinning options
- 5/5
Design is unique and very comfortable room. Nice shower. Many very nice unique restaurants and family friendly choices. Hells Kitchen 😄
- 5/5
I like the patio sections. The breakfast staff were nice. Nice food selection. I do think the pool area could use a few umbrellas or coverings in case some people want shade. Overall I enjoyed it. Would stay again
- 5/5
Well it’s in the wharf area NW DC near the harbor plenty dining spots beautiful sights and close to the museums if you’re into that sorta thing so in all I’ll give it a 10 out of 10
- 5/5
They put out a really good breakfast for the guests
- 5/5
The property was gorgeous. My room was very spacious and had a great view of the Marina and Common Areas. If there were an issues they were resolved super quick. I had a great time and will definitely return on the futire.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Everything was a walk distance. Felt safe and the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.
- 5/5
Wonderful customer services. Served with a warm smile. Fast service. Comfortable beds with wonderful views.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 4/5
The check in was a lil long due to rooms not being ready! The room was decent not big at all but it was ok. The room was clean and cold. Lol overall everything went great. The breakfast was ok
- 1/5
Dirty every thing
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice
- 5/5
Great comfort and service
- 5/5
Parking was tough and overpriced for hotel. No dining room or room service.
- 5/5
Nice property and walkable to all major historic sites.
- 4/5
Room can be better.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing thank you for all your hard work !
- 5/5
I can’t remember the last are desks name but she was super nice and treated me well for my birthday. The breakfast was good and the view was amazing. The rooftop pool was a plus too. Would def stay again
- 5/5
Family friendly. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating.
- 3/5
Didn’t like- Waiting for the room 40 min after 3pm. The room wasn’t cleaned the way I would expect from Hyatt.
- 5/5
Location was excellent. The rooftop pool was fun, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very clean nice pool and free breakfast
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Staff was polite and kind. Food was good. Near so many restaurants and easy access to transportation. The rooms were super clean. The pool was mine and my son’ favorite place.
- 3/5
Was not able to check into room until after 4pm and staff was not helpful in this proceer
- 5/5
Excellent staff interactions! The rooms are nice and the location is great.
- 4/5
My wife and I enjoyed our vacation here at The Wharf. It made our 30th wedding anniversary even more memorable! Thank you so much and God bless you!!
- 5/5
The corner room has amazing views
- 5/5
Loved being on the Wharf, but what made this hotel exceptional waa the service and the hospitality of the staff. I booked the hotel because it included breakfast, it was on the Wharf, and it had a rooftop pool. I enjoyed the pool but would have liked it to be deeper for actual swimming. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, but that’s not the main reason for my 5 star rating. It was the the willingness of the staff to accommodate our request for a room change after one night from a king bed to two queen beds. They even gave us a river view room for no additional charge. In general, everyone was so helpful, and always with a smile!
- 3/5
Insufficient pool towels. Guests walking dripping wet from pool elevators. Caused slippery floors. Poor safety precautions!!!
- 4/5
Nice room with large windows. Parking is not the best and expensive. Elevators can be confusing. Nice views and in the midst of the energy of the board walk. Overall good. Would stay again.
- 3/5
Overall it was a good stay but there were some issues... Fantastic location, reasonable room, good A/C, not a lot of water pressure on the shower, struggled to keep up with the breakfast rush on Sunday. Would stay there again but mainly for the great location.
