Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating its central location and spacious, clean rooms. However, some express dissatisfaction with additional fees, particularly for parking and amenities, and a few mention issues with the hotel's plumbing and furniture.

However something note either the shampoo or body wash burned both my and my wife’s eyes. Must be something related to the lemon peel or fragrance in there

Surprised to see how spacious the rooms were. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. . Large bathrooms and shower was amazing. Nice balcony. Perfect location. Valet was quick, courteous and stress free. Staff were all welcoming and kind. Would stay here again!! No complaints

After decades of trying various hotels of all sorts across London, Hotel Madera is now my absolute go to for personal and business travel. It’s a lovely hotel with modern, spacious rooms and a very helpful staff. The location is an easy walk from the metro and the valet parking is reasonable. Nothing.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! Helpful staff. Comfy beds. The free filtered water and ice was great. And the continental breakfast was yummy
- 5/5
Loved how spacious the rooms were. Everything was clean. But the size of the rooms was more than I expected. Nothing.
- 5/5
My preferred place to stay in West End. Staff is so kind and accommodating and neighborhood is walkable pretty and quiet. Only complaint is that there is no complimentary bottle of wine as advertised on hotels.com site

The property is nice and the hotel is clean when you come, I understand that when the do not disturb sign is on the door they don’t come in but they could knock to see if we need towels or change the sheets you know? Also when I misplaced my key to the room it took an hour to get someone to open the lobby door and get into my room, I called the hotel 15 times no answer nobody came to open the door until I started banging on the front door for 5 mins, that’s not ok when I’m spending so much money I should be able to get service right away this was my second time staying at this hotel I like it a lot and would love to come back again but these issues should be resolved The property is nice and the hotel is clean when you come, I understand that when the do not disturb sign is on the door they don’t come in but they could knock to see if we need towels or change the sheets you know? Clean and modern. Tremendous staff. Love the restaurant and staff. My new favorite and I've been to a lot of DC hotels. Definitely will be back!

Clean property, great location. Friendly staff. Only downside was charged for amenities per night and didn't even use anything.

Location It is not accessible. There are stairs to get to the elevator and only a temporary very rickety and dangerous ramp. Also I reserved an ADA room and was given a standard room. Also my room keys repeatedly did not work.

Good location and price Very bad attitude from some of the workers, no WiFi all the vacation without any help
- 5/5
Unfortunately, we did not have Wi-Fi during our entire stay, which meant the TV services were unavailable as well. Having to rely on valet parking was also frustrating, particularly one evening when we waited over an hour for our car. In addition, only one elevator was working during our visit. The staff was friendly and did provide a $70 credit for the Wi-Fi issue, which we appreciated, but we felt additional compensation would have been appropriate given the valet delay and other inconveniences. On a positive note, the staff at the Firefly Restaurant were absolutely amazing and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Despite the issues, we enjoyed our visit and would consider staying there again if we return to Washington.

We visited Washington, D.C. to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at the hotel two hours early. Since it was my birthday, they checked us in early and presented me with a delightful gift: a bottle of red wine, a box of chocolate, and a bag of chips. We were given a room on the highest floor. The restaurant connected to our room was simply amazing. For brunch, they went above and beyond by surprising me with a cake that had “Happy Birthday” written on it and a complimentary small cocktail. Our server captured the moment beautifully with a photo and sang happy birthday. They made my birthday feel truly special. I brought my laptop to do some college work during my trip, but unfortunately, there was no WiFi connection the entire time. They claimed it was due to weather conditions, but it wasn’t even on once.

Great location walk to fun restaurants and parks . Quick ride to White House and National Mall

Travelers beware; this is not a non-smoking facility. They advertise as, but the policy is not implemented. As such, many of the guests were smoking during our short 2 day stay- they had to give us another room because the first room reeked of marijuana. Unfortunately, second room wasn’t much better- marijuauna and cigarette smoke traveled up the balcony all night long, both of the nights. As such, the second room was slightly better, since the culprits were seemingly on lower levels. The hallways of both first room and second room also smelled of marijuana. The front desk is friendly and nice, but when faced with this problem, seemed pretty unenthusiastic about actually doing something about it. That said, cute decor, nice location. If you are a smoker, or enjoy second hand smoke of cigarettes and marujuana, go for it. If you don’t enjoy smoky smelling rooms, find something else.
- 5/5
The property was a comfy stay I really enjoyed the room and the balcony. Staff were great. The only thing that was not good was the mattress. My room had two queen size mattresses and they both sunk in on one side. They need to get new mattresses.
- 5/5
Great stay, the staff was amazing!
- 5/5
Shower was great with excellent pressure
- 5/5
Size of room
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, great location. I think that instead of charging resort fees hotels should just increase the price of the room by the same amount, I find the added fee insulting and in general I will not book a hotel that is charging a resort fee. I sleep in a bed for a few hours, I don't see anything that justifies the fee.
- 5/5
2) Room was large , very comfortable bed , great toilet and bathroom with an excellent shower. The room amenities were very good. 3) Staff service was excellent and were extremely responsive. 4) Superb breakfast at Firefly and a special mention to MJ for his excellent service.
- 4/5
Our room was spacious and the balcony provided a great opportunity to people watch.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Rooms are great. Staff are great.
- 5/5
I believe this was our 5th or 6th visit. It’s clean, comfortable, the staff are always nice, and the hotel is dog friendly. I have zero complaints. We were able to request the same room as previous trips, and that really makes our visit more enjoyable. It feels like our home away from home. We definitely will be back soon.
- 5/5
Wonderful!!
- 4/5
Great place, centrally located. Great staff. Just wish the beds were more comfortable
- 5/5
Staff was nice, better than average. Hotel location and cleanliness were superb. One negative is that they charge a ~$35 daily amenity fee but I am not sure for what. There is a super tiny gym with hardly any equipment.
- 4/5
The vanity lighting wasn't great. Room didn't have hair dryer. But it did have an umbrella. Would stay here again and just ask for hair dryer.
- 4/5
Great location. +Close to the Metro stop. +Our room faced west so we had a great view of the sunset. -I would have preferred having curtains vs the roman shades so that I could see out without having other people in the houses next to the hotel see in. The toilet height is definitely made for short people so if you're over 5'8" or of large stature, you'll feel like you're sitting close to the floor. The staff is nice and helpful. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to our friends and stay there again.
- 4/5
Great location. Very central.
- 5/5
Very nice a clean, is cross to many places for eats and drinks
- 5/5
Yes of course they are very good
- 5/5
Wonderful place. Great location.
- 4/5
I did have an issues with having to pay an amenity fee (it may be called something else it's an added daily activity fee), but I didn't want it, need it, or use it. When I asked if they could be removed as I've done at other hotels I was told I could not, so I just left eh bottle of wine in the room. Also, I checked out very early for an early flight and there was no front staff for me to square my bill. That wouldn't have been an issue if they didn't hold 300 hundred dollars. I had to check out without knowing if my final bill was correct which I do not like to do. Other than those administrative issues, I really like the hotel. And I would have stayed there again if not for having to pay that activity fee.
- 4/5
Spacious rooms , convenient location within walking distance of everything that you would want to visit in DC
- 5/5
Very clean nice only wish there was a microwave in room :(
- 5/5
Beautiful all the way around
- 5/5
Good breakfast, centrally located. Helpful staff. Very clean
- 5/5
Great location near DuPont Circle. Comfortable room. My only complaint is there was no desk or table to use as a workspace.
- 5/5
Great accommodations, very pleasant staff and shout out to Andy at Fireside for exceptional service and wonderful recommendations!
- 5/5
A beautiful hotel! The people at the front desk were pleasant and we throughly enjoyed the guest happy hour. I would return again!
- 5/5
Super nice staff!
- 5/5
As usual, all of the staff are friendly and helpful. We have always stayed at this hotel and have for the last 15 plus years, from the time it was a Kimpton owned property until now. However, this time we had a room on the top floor, the shower wasn't as strong as lower floors, the bathroom sink had a large crack, there weren't any closet doors and the furniture had pieces of the wood missing... a bit of an update needed perhaps but all in all the value is excellent compared to other hotels in the area and you can't beat the friendly staff and location. With that said, anytime we travel to DC we will absolutely continue to stay at the Madera.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, clean, extra friendly staff. Rooms were really nice. Good for the quality and price
- 4/5
All was good, pretty comfortable
- 2/5
You are paying for location and upgraded amenities. I was not impressed by the restaurant -Firefly. Having a balcony was amazing. The linens and towels were not comfortable and didn’t smell fresh. The robe was dirty. When you book via hotels.com you are supposed to get a free bottle of wine - that didn’t happen and nobody at the front desk knew what I was talking about when I brought it up. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbor come and go. Overall I would stay again but not have this idea that I am going to get a 4 star experience, it’s a 2 star experience.
- 5/5
The evening staff were great! Rooms were clean although shower could’ve been a little cleaner (there was stain on the curtain). Location was within walking distance to museums, food, bars, and etc. Area felt very safe to walk at night. Overall we would stay again.
- 5/5
Room was beautiful with a nice view. Bathroom was spacious and the complimentary robes were a nice touch. Me and my husband enjoyed the breakfast offered at the Firefly!
- 5/5
The hotel was very cute and the rooms were nice and spacious. The staff was absolutely amazing. We had welcome drinks at the firefly restaurant connected to the hotel and our bartender Andy was so cool so friendly we literally came back to the restaurant just to see and talk to him everyday and MJ was a gem so funny and kind. This will be my go to hotel when coming to the DC area. We didn’t want to leave.
- 1/5
- 5/5
This hotel was absolutely exceptional. We came for a special occasion. I let the hotel know, and they arranged a bottle of champagne on ice and chocolate covered strawberries in our room on arrival. Two bath robes for my man and I. The room was beautiful and spacious. Wonderful staff. Great location. Wish we were still there right now. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed, great pillows and linens. Electric kettle in room and filtered water with carbonated option in hall are great touches. Very friendly and accommodating staff in wonderful location.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly but not helpful. No assistance with bags, valet did not help with loading or unloading. In the lobby you have to put your bags on a dolly, wheel them to the steps, then transfer your bags to another dolly. Very inconvenient. Breakfast was not free. Balcony was nice. Rooms were clean.
- 2/5
The room was nice and the staff at the front desk nice and helpful, but the hotel was extremely loud and the room had virtually no soundproofing. There were parties happening late into the night above our room, smoke odors coming into our room through the night, and we heard people fighting on the street below our room until 4:30 in the morning. Even though we were on a high floor, we could hear every word.
- 5/5
Wonderful! The only place I stay in DC!
- 4/5
The room was decent overall but there were some things that lacked attention to detail. We unfortunately had a room that was next door to some sort of hotel room party which was very loud at 1am. The front desk staff named Kanesha was very accommodating and kind to us and found us a room on a different floor. We really appreciate her!
- 3/5
Staff wasn’t the most welcoming and when I got in the room it was a big bug waiting for us wasn’t the best experience for the price.
- 5/5
Great location; spacious and clean rooms.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. Very well decorated.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, check-in was a breeze, and they don't charge for pets! It was a lifesaver and I will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Clean and decent location. Staff was uninterested and seemed bothered when asked questions.
- 5/5
Great service! nice and clean.
- 3/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Noisy, AC/Heater noisy with huge vibration
- 5/5
There is no breakfast at this hotel, the room was clean, although the heat wasn’t working so we had to get a maintenance man to fix it and I put my car in valet in the following morning when I went to go check out the valley man almost crashed my car into someone else’s car
- 5/5
Stayed here for a family wedding in DC. Ubered or walked everywhere. Nice staff in the lobby. Wine happy hour was pleasant.
- 5/5
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and a fabulous stay with a pet! Queen, Queen room was spacious, clean, and comfortable!
- 2/5
Staff were friendly, but each day of stay the towels in my room had stains on them. One towel in particular was clearly not washed and stained with someone else's stool. Will not book here again.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and spotless, updated with tasteful furniture & fixtures, nice large bath.
- 4/5
We did not eat bf
- 5/5
Everything was beautiful! The room was super cute and the staff was so nice and helpful. Awesome centeal location in a beautiful neighborhood. Live!
- 5/5
room well maintained and cleaned on daily basis. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Feel like home away from home in DC
- 4/5
No breakfast provided. Hallways smelled like sewage. Room was clean but noted rusty shower curtain rods, and although rehabbed, had old feel. Staff was great, polite and curteous, and in good area of DC. Ate at the Firefly - the hotel restaurant, had the scallops, they were rubbery and had fishy smell/taste - would nto recommend eating t here for dinner.
- 5/5
Great customer service by front desk! Very cozy and luxurious room.
- 5/5
All great experiences.
- 5/5
Great room and loved the balcony
- 5/5
Room was clean. Balcony was lovely.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an amazing location. Very central. Rooms are very spacious. The staff was accommodating as the first room had low shower pressure and the curtains were broken, so we moved to a different room with no issue. They stored my breast milk in their freezer.
- 5/5
Great room! Great service!
- 5/5
Great location for dining and metro!
- 4/5
It's not as soundproof as it says. You can hear the people in the other room if besides one. You can hear the people in the hallway, closing of doors. Sirens can be heard all night. Other than that it was alright. Bathroom door slides and just hovers and doesn't close so if others are in the room they can hear everything. Balcony was nice. Staff were awesome. Area is convenient and clean.
- 5/5
Check in was great. Everything was within walking distance. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
I liked that the room was clean. I liked that it was close to the metro. However, I was a VIP and I was not offered a free bottle of wine which I would’ve declined since I don’t drink so there should be another option. I also was not offered any type of upgrade meeting a late checkout, even though I had a later flight that day or an upgrade. If it wasn’t for one person there, I would’ve read it lower. The non-management staff was sort of just blah. I stayed at other places in DC with much better service.
- 5/5
I have stayed many times. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is in a great neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff and service are always friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I did not have breakfast
- 3/5
Would not stay here again. Expedia can do much better.
- 2/5
Charged me twice for amenity fees when I had already paid for them. Had to wait in the lobby until they figured out why they were charging me. To then find long blonde hair on the shower walls when I got in my room. You can also hear everything from other rooms. I will not be returning. Seemed like a scam to me.
- 1/5
The front desk hostess was completely rude, dismissive, and showed a lack of basic customer service skills during checkout. The valet service also deserves only one star for its inefficiency. My colleagues and I experienced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity issues that prevented us from completing parts of our business trip, and the unsecured Wi-Fi network is a concern. In addition, there is no pool, the fitness area consists of only a few outdated and nonfunctional treadmills, and the onsite restaurant closes far too early — even on weekends. Extending the restaurant’s hours could improve the guest experience and attract local visitors or late-night diners from the Dupont Circle area. Overall, the hotel fell short in service, professionalism, and amenities. With better staff training, improved cleanliness, reliable Wi-Fi, and extended dining hours, this property could better meet the standards expected in such a prime D.C. location.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious, clean, well organized and the staff was very helpful & respectful.
- 5/5
Clean room. Enjoyed the coffee. Water/seltzer machine was a nice plus.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
If there was a way to give more stars for the service, I would. We had an unexpected event where one of our group was injured. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us through this difficulty. I've stayed multiple times and each time has been fantastic. My family cannot thank them enough for helping us. It's also a lovely hotel.
- 5/5
Very good hotel I wish they would of told me all the fees up front.
- 5/5
Large rooms, very clean and great staff. My only knock on this stay was the additional $50 per night on top resort fee for security. Saisld it was a hold only, but actually charged my card, now I have persue getting this charge refunded 5-7 business days later. So I give only 4 stars because of this inconvenience
- 5/5
Enjoyed brief stay Excellent staff! Convenient location. Access to Metro is great. Other than a slight order in the bathroom sink; all else was excellent
- 4/5
All very good, service was great front desk
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, near to Metro, shops, restaurants. Great location.
- 5/5
Spacious clean room. Very dog friendly which we appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good convenient area.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay at Madera. It was easy to walk to the mall, dupont circle, dining, etc. The amenities fee is steep for what it has to offer (not much). The room was clean but the bed was TERRIBLE. The water in the hallway was a nice feature.
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay in DC. Love the large rooms and windows. and super comfy beds. I always enjoy the serenity of a boutique hotel and the thoughtful and kind staff here never disappoints.
- 5/5
The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were welcoming and attentive.
- 1/5
If a a smoking hotel, don’t say you weren’t warned. And I mean it’s prevalent everywhere on every floor. Do not bother unless you like to smoke. Management is incompetent to enforce their own non smoking policy, don’t stay here unless you like smoke.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Clean and roomy. Great staff. Enjoyed the extras; gift bag, complimentary happy hour drink.
- 4/5
The lobby is small
- 5/5
Property was clean quiet and had a great view of the city ready to come back and visit again
- 5/5
Friendly and convenient and competitively priced . The staff was a GREAT example of hospitality . My room was outstanding ! Large floor plan with a balcony overlooking Dupint Circle was a great way to relax after a day of touring and shopping !
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable and I loved the shower however, up to date photos will need to be advertised because the photos Expedia advertise for this hotel will make a person feel like the hotel is so luxurious and it’s not
- 5/5

- 5/5
The property was amazing.

- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Slow internet but not too bad.
- 5/5
Great location in Washington DC on quiet street.
- 5/5
From Check-in to Check out, is quick, staff (Karen & Sara) professional, accommodating and personable. Friends and I had dinner at FireFly and it was incredible—we had about six dishes on our table; each and every one was delicious! Our server, Patrick was attentive but not annoying, we enjoyed our meal immensely. Will definitely stay again!
- 3/5
Positives: Nice hard floors in rooms, modern walk-in showers, nice little bar and restaurant with good a la carte options (weekday breakfast options are light). Negatives: uncomfortable mattresses on both the king beds and the pulley sofas. Weed smell everywhere on the corridors and elevators
- 5/5
Very nice large room, perfect location, very pleasant staff. They came in and cleaned, changed towels and changed the sheets every single day.
- 5/5
Property was very nice and clean. Has a restaurant downstairs and it was a nice area. Many places to walk to. I love how there was water and ice conveniently on every floor. Parking could be a little tricky but they have valet service for a fee and that saves you the trouble of finding parking yourself. 10/10, would definitely go back.
- 4/5
It’s just the electricity going out forced us to stay too long.
- 4/5
Just one uncomfortable thing was slowly elevator.
- 2/5
The staff was pleasant but that's about it. The beds slept terribly, room was only surfaced clean. We requested a room at a higher floor to avoid any noise and was told there were none available. Very noisy stay. Valet not worth the costs. The day of check out, the elevators were not working. Again, the staff was great but I will not stay at this hotel again.
- 5/5
It was nice stayed there for 1 night. Very spacious
- 5/5
Hotel.
- 4/5
The property was conveniently located and very nice; however the room was hot, even with the AC on. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room because the weather was nice so we didn’t mention it to the staff. We will definitely stay again!
- 1/5
This hotel is not a resort, yet they charge you a large amount as "resort fee". This is just a building with a tiny gym that is calling itself a resort.
- 4/5
great balcony floor had leaks of water coming up
- 5/5
Kind staffs and great location
- 5/5
Everything about the room was exactly what I hope for when traveling...attractive, comfortable beds, roomy, a great shower, and good amenities. The location of this hotel is also really great. The lobby is nothing to write home about, and when we were there, there was an unsavory smell. Once we got to our room, we were really happy though!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Loved the little touches like nice plush bathrobes, a hotel branded umbrella in the closet, bicycles for use to ride around the area. Very walkable with many good food options nearby. Staff was really kind. Will stay at Madera again when back in DC.
- 4/5
The room was lovely tho. The staff was accommodating and it’s in a perfect location.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Nice area, close to metro, nice room
- 5/5
Was great. We will stay again!
- 5/5
The staff at Hotel Madera were extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and clean and the location was a convenient distance from all the important sites. I would definitely go there again!
- 5/5
Great neighborhood, very convenient, nice rooms. Jonathan was really helpful.
- 2/5
More disappointingly, the hotel advertised its rooms as soundproof, which was a major factor in our decision to book. We were under the impression that we could enjoy our stay without disturbing others or being disturbed. However, when we were playing games and listening to music, the staff came to complain about the noise. When we pointed out the soundproof claim, they simply dismissed it with a "no sorry," which felt dishonest and frustrating. Given the false advertising, our overall experience was quite unpleasant. While the rooms themselves were nice and spacious, the lack of transparency about the soundproofing and inconsistent AC made our stay subpar. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others based on our experience.
- 5/5
Great location, excellent designed rooms, balcony was a huge bonus. Nice amenities. Dog friendly. Would def stay there again!!!
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and modern, the biggest issue was the parking, staff may take long to process request. At one point we had to provide a follow up call 30 minutes after waiting for a request, also they mentioned filtered water would be available however the equipment was not working It would have been nice if they st least put a sign stating it was not functioning: provide alternate way to receive water.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk, and a spacious and clean room. Many good restaurants were near by to walk to, and just having a spacious and cool room to escape from the heat worked out nicely for us. Parking staff was helpful and in-and-out service worked well. The balcony is tiny, but my two teens enjoyed it. The complementary wine and snacks as VIP access was also enjoyable. Overall, very clean and spacious and we would come back and stay here again.
- 5/5
We’re obsessed with the Madera! Their service, location and price are amazing! We were surprised that they have an electric kettle! We love tea and for us it’s a must have, however typically it’s hard to find a hot water! They also have a water dispenser on each floor. We had amazing experience with the hotel!
- 4/5
Check in was super fast. Front desk super helpful & nice. However housekeeping tree away my son’s brand new $250 debtal retainer. Kinda ruined the day
- 5/5
Super comfortable and clean hotel room, prime location, and EXCEPTIONAL customer service from every single staff member we interacted with. Even though we stayed on June 7 and we were crazy busy along with everyone else in the city celebrating World Pride, we really felt taken care of by everyone at the hotel. They weren’t annoyed or sick of ppl yet, and that’s rare these days. And this includes every person who answered our various questions over the phone before our arrival, every front desk person, every valet attendant and bell hop and every staff member at the wonderful Firefly restaurant. I highly recommend and will be booking future stays.

Great Stay!

Excellent location, near shops/restaurants and the metro. Very clean, huge rooms.

Awesome hotel. Room stayed cool in 95 degree heat. Filtered water in the hallway. Close to a bunch of stuff to do. Room was clean and comfortable. Only things I would change are the accommodation fee ($30/day for water, coffee, drink at 5pm) and barn doors for the bathroom (don't block noise and it's pulling off the bracket)

Convenient location. Walkable from Metro and to many things. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful.

I do wish the restaurant was open longer hours throughout the day so I could sit and work somewhere other my hotel room for long stretches, but they still let you use their outside tables on off hours and there’s enough around the area that it doesn’t impact much. The staff was great and incredibly accommodating. And the location is unbeatable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would return!

Two, there is a per day $30 “Amenities Fee” which isn’t listed anywhere on the pricing. They list the amenities as WiFi, in-room coffee, nice sheets…. Nothing any other hotel would charge extra for…. So add that into your pricing.

Very good hotel, location is incredible, u can walk to White House or a very short Uber to the National Mall. The staff was very polite and professional and eagerly helped with the sofa bed, extras et all. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location and accommodations! Staff was excellent. My room was large, bright, and I loved having a balcony! I would definitely stay here again. And it was reasonably priced and close to my office—as well as many food and night life offerings.

We went for our niece’s graduation in May. The room was unusually big, bathroom very modern and bed super comfortable. Sara at the front desk was super helpful and the valet service for the car was excellent. The staff was wonderful

When the restaurant we were going to eat at was closed, we decided to eat at the onsite restaurant. It was not open. Had to eat somewhere we could walk to.

Great spot. Need a ramp so you don't need to carry luggage up steps to get to the elevator.

Book a queen room and was given a wheel chair accessible room. The shower flooded every time we showered.

Solid choice for a DuPont Circle hotel. Not much of a lobby or public space, but clean and with a friendly, decent restaurant. Room didn’t have any blackout shades so pretty bright. Overall solid hotel.

The only con was that there's no room service from the restaurant which is adjacent to it. You can doordash and such but on site food options would be a great addition. In the meantime make sure you take snacks back with you!

The staff was really friendly, the hotel restaurant's food is delicious, and the surrounding area is really clean and walkable.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. Things were clean and well organized. It was fun to sit on the deck and have a drink for happy hour. Will come back again!

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Although it was considered after peak Cherry Blossom bloom time we were able to still see most of the trees still in bloom along with many other spring flowers in bloom. This hotel is a short walk from many restaurants as well.
