Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about their stay at the hotel. While some had a perfect stay with smooth check-in and helpful staff, others faced issues like long waits during check-in, rooms not being ready, and being double charged. The property is generally described as clean and well-maintained, but some guests found it dated and in need of an upgrade.

I enjoyed my stay no issues with check in I was able to check in early to have time for my event…

All of the staff were super friendly! Valet parking was super convenient as well.

The property is ok.. The really bad experience is about the water in the room. I think it’s a kind of little trick. We just left The Logan Hilton in Philadelphia. They provide the same kind of bottle waters in the room which were free for the Hilton Honor guests. So when we saw the water in Hilton Garden Inn room, and the note said they were also for the Honors. After we received the $11 bill from them, I was shocked. Actually we only used one more bottle of water, it costed us $11 !!!! I felt so bad about that. Also, the room keeper didn’t make up the tea I after I used. Didn’t renew the soaps. And the A/C was unpredictable.

I loved the interaction I did have with Aisha, the manager regarding check in. Top Tier services highly recommend

Friendly, efficient staff. Laundromat facilities on site. Very clean rooms. The lobby area was a bit tight.
- 5/5
Close the everything we wanted to go to.

We parked right in front of the hotel, a little to the right of your looking on it straight on where there’s a 2hour parking but within a specific time. It was after that time already, and there just happened to be some police officers outside that we asked and they said that that was totally fine as long as the car was moved before the 2hours from the start time. (Just helping you save 50$, especially if you chose this hotel because it seemed affordable and then realised that it doesn’t have parking included)

We loved it! Clean. Breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was amazing. Big kudos to the "waitress". Pool was great. It is kinda small, so overcrowding is easy. Make sure you use the valet if you're taking your own vehicle. Also very close to metro.
- 3/5
The valet was terrible. I waited over an hour for someone to get my car. Now it was graduation weekend, but the establishment should have been staffed enough to avoid this inconvenience.

Absolute worst experience in my life I’m trying to get a hold of the general manager. Stayed there one night felt completely unsafe for the first time ever in a Hilton !! staffed did nothing about people banging on our doors all hours the night could not enjoy the pool because teenagers screaming cursing, throwing things..worst experience ever! breakfast was cold. Honestly would’ve left in the middle of the night if I could’ve found a hotel within a reasonable driving distance never again I’d stay in that hotel!

Stay was okay. Room and amenities are nice and clean. Front desk staff were mediocre though
- 3/5
I had a difficult time sleeping because there were noisy guests and the AC kept clicking on and off all night even when I raised the room temp. Blanket scratchy but room was clean. Front desk staff were not particularly friendly . Gym was getting repairs. Hotel is convenient to the train station and subway.
- 3/5
the billing was an issue. 3 rooms were supposed to be charged on 1 card but no. have to call back to deal with this . and valet charges were too high 110$ with the expectation of TIPS ever single time we request or dropped car. rooms smaller than expected and so were the sheets.... itchy too!

Not much, I better stay next time across the street at CitizenM. Hiltons hotels are last century … The front desk stuff is terrible, they are not cooperative at all, then all of them are from India - just 100%… I am not against of any nation, when it is a mix as normally in America, but when you come to Hilton and all personnel speaks between each other Hindu, I felt like I am not in Washington DC but in n New Delhi :(… Culture-wise - I felt offensive with the lady at the front desk smiling me in the face and giving some comments behind my back in her native…. Another thing - I am driving across America and I chose hotel on Pool parameter, but I was not able to is the Pool with 8am to 8pm policy, most of other hotels have pool open from 6am till late as 10 or 11 pm. Gym was an under renovation an no single mention about this on the website.. Restaurant food is terrible, ordered a medium rare steak, a prime rib as listed in menu - got some form of well done overcooked “flat iron meat” … then… the rest of menu “Sorry, we don’t have a mash potato”, “Sorry, we do t have this”.. “Sorry, we don’t have that”… Finally, got my stomach upset by some over fried “something” Stay away from eating here…

Booked the wrong DC location and was worried about safety, but pleasantly surprised at the location and surrounding area. I requested a quiet room but was near the elevators.
- 5/5
The facility was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. Walkable to many restaurants. Short Uber ride to the monuments and memorials.
- 2/5
Pool should be open a 24 hour not until 8pm. For the price of a night breakfast should be included for free.

Heith Hilton I was impressed by the ambiance great professional service and cleanliness and would definitely recommend and stay again. I would like to be able to control the temperature and have brighter lighting if I needed it.
- 3.5/5
The area is not too safe. My car was broken into. Though I know it is NOT the responsibility of the hotel, it made me feel a little uneasy about the area as a whole.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and for the most part staff was helpful. The air was a little stiff and could use a little more circulation in the room itself.
- 3/5
The carpet on the 5th floor was riddled with debris and not vacuumed daily. The bathroom shower had a shelf that was covered in black mold. I explained this to the front desk 2-3 separate time and the mold was never removed. I was disappointed in this as it smelled like mold does and finally the second or third time I told the front desk upon my return from my training session at least the smell was gone but the mold was definitely still there. I will not stay at this hotel ever again and was quite disappointed as I stay at Hiltons exclusively for the reason of high quality. I understand things happen and if the problem had been corrected I would have not had an issue. I will not recommend this location to my peers as I was thoroughly disappointed.

I’ve always had a great stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. My tv was glitching and the staff took immediate care of the issue. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with a fridge and microwave which can be rare these days. It’s so close to public transit and just one stop from Union Station.

The property was decent. The staff was not that nice at least a few of them. The hot tub did not work. The area was pretty decent. There was a lot of homeless people and mentally ill people in the area, but that is not the fault of the hotel. I didn’t like that the hot tub wasn’t working and the doors were locked after 8 o’clock

For the first night there we had no ac the whole night and my spouse and i have been sick so i got really hot and dehydrated and had to ask for help. Also the pool closes way to early. The best workers there are the vallet people

Front desk guy was great - helped me get early check in - I’d forgotten I was a rewards member. Nice room and clean. And the free coffee in the lobby was actually really good! Location wasn’t great - not close to sites and no real public transport nearby. Nice grocery store down the block.
- 3/5
The hotel is very close to the metro which was great! They don’t have a lot of on street parking in the area. The room was spacious and was nicely laid out with everything one would need, but could use some updating. The shower door handle is falling off, the curtains are older and stiff and wouldn’t close, the carpet is dark and the walls are thin. I could hear a man and his child playing and laughing at 11 pm in the room next to me very clearly.
- 3.5/5
Didn’t try breakfast. Dinner was good. The bed was very comfortable. Location was great. You need MORE LIGHTS in the room! It was way too dark/dim. There should be free breakfast at these prices. There was a pile of wet used dirty towels on the closet floor when we arrived. Yuk!

We had some problems with the billing (half on my part, half on their part) but with the help of Juando (I dont think I spelled that right) we got it resolved on the final billing. They were accommodating giving us a rollaway for our 3rd member. There were plenty of restaurants around as well as the drugstores. It was easy access to LYFT and to the HILL without costing a fortune. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
It was clean and convenient Nothings
- 2/5
The facilities were clean, and the location was excellent for traveling around the area. There were many places to eat nearby, and it was very convenient to get around by subway, so there was no need to use Uber or taxis. However, I had a very unpleasant experience because I was charged for water that I never used. I had to make several phone calls to get the charge removed. Complimentary water was only provided on the first day. After that, there was no bottled water in the room, so we bought plenty of water from the grocery store and drank our own water during the stay. That’s why it was very surprising and frustrating to see a water charge added after check-out. Also, the pool did not seem to be properly maintained.
- 4/5
I was able to find street parking, front desk was helpful checking in. I didn’t spend much time on the property.

The property was well maintained. However, the hotel store was always lacking in merchandise. Our room the bathroom sink was clogged. They did come and fix it. Staff was exceptional and super friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the parking/valet and extremely accommodating with our car. They gave us suggestions on food in the area and the stay was close to the metro. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken, which as it turned out many people booked specifically to use as we made friends while sitting in the broken tub, warning them it didnt turn on. I'd still give it a 5 stars, but it was a little disappointing.

Location was ideally situated for the Station and visits to places of interest Our coffee machine didn't work - when we left to go out we informed reception, upon our return at 3pm - still not dealt with and phoned reception. Our kind cleaner chased this up for us and within 5 minutes a very helpful gentleman came and replaced it for us. When we left at 8.00 am we requested reception to call a taxi for us to take us to the airport. Was advised that they don't do this anymore and was given a number. At the very least I would expect a hotel to make this call for a customer?? we had to use our 'find a taxi' app on our phone which we managed to sort out whilst standing outside the hotel. Not too impressed! I would also advise that there are very few places in the immediate vicinity to obtain a meal with one restaurant currently undergoing a refurbishment but we managed to make a booking for another expensive one nearby. There is more variety of 'fast food' reasonably priced places to eat within the railway station itself.

The room was looking worn - especially the faux leather headboard which was flaking. One elevator was out of order which caused lots of shared use by customers and cleaning/construction crews and stops in each floor. Staff was always friendly and quick with a greeting, though.

Someone at the hotel is still charging my card for small items $1-5 per charge. Reported to bank. Parking was not clear about additional charges. Staff stated they did not care about the issue and were unwilling to come to any compromise and had no knowlege of solutions or other options. The chair in the room is not well placed or functional. All guests who came in the room stubbed their feet multiple times. The coffee creamer in the room was bad. All of it. I wasted 3 coffees before leaving to get coffee elsewhere. There is no way such a versatile menu is being made with fresh ingredients. At 20$-$40 per plate, I want to be confident the food is fresh and good.

This room was booked for my boss and was paid for in full 5 weeks ahead of time. They sold it to some other guest before he arrived for check in at 8:00 p, ET and was basically telling him sorry about your luck. The said they do not honor reservations booked through Expedia. Another gentleman standing beside my boss was being told they sold his room, too. After expressing how disappointed my boss was and asking how can this happen, the front desk manager tells him if he has an incentive, he may be able to find him a room there. Unbelievable. My guess is this is not his first request for an incentive. This has been reported to Expedia and Hilton in hopes this doesn't happen to others. For the next 1.5 hours, we and Expedia called every other hotel in the city. All were booked in the entire city due to an event in the area. The closest hotel with rooms available was 30 miles out from the city center. He had an early morning meeting which he would have had to fight traffic the next morning in hopes of making it on time. My boss was going to sleep in his vehicle, but fortunately an acquaintance allowed him to sleep on his room's small couch. Unbelievable that this manager thought this was acceptable business practice.

Overall experience was okay. Facility was okay. The staff was amazing. The washers weren’t working and it was difficult to find the valet persons at times. The room was outdated and poorly cleaned.
- 5/5
Love the staff, very helpful in my stressful situation. Facility also was great, absolutely no complaints.
- 4/5
Location was fair. The breakfast options were awful & needs improvement. The waiter each morning was great and friendly. More options should be available. Hot and fruits. Although my breakfast was included with my room; others were complaining about the cost of $25 per person. The breakfast was acceptable for $25/ person. Improvements should be made. The pool has EXTREMELY HIGH levels of chlorine & I should have reconsidered allowing my daughter getting in the pool. Upon entering into the pool area the strong smell burns your eyes & nose. My daughter’s silver jewelry immediately turned black & upon returning to the room her hair was damaged. I had to walk across to CVS and purchase a leave in conditioner in hopes of salvaging her hair from breakage. She’s a 7 yr old girl with waist length hair and now will require more than an average trim I hopes of saving the hair. When I mentioned to the staff he smiled and apologized. Yet at that point no one considered seeking whether the pool was safe or not and remained open daily.
- 5/5
Parking is a bit of a hassle as it is valet only and the valet is a separate company. There’s no space to stop & unload and valet was not very patient with us unloading first night. Also, they did not mention the additional almost $10 per night on top of the $55 per night, so parking was more anticipated based on the signage.
- 5/5
The room was warm, clean, and the hotel was close to many places I wanted to visit.

What’s on a decent side of things in a good area we stayed here for a week. A little expensive. I would say The pool had tons of chlorine to the point where it literally bleached my bathing suit, and I had to over hydrate my skin. It was burning my eyes
- 1/5
The room was comfortable and big enough. The hotel is not far from the city center, around 20-25 min walking and very near to the train station. You can find supermarket just at the corner of the hotel For the price paid didn't meet the expectation and for a name like Hilton we were a bit disappointed. Paper cups for the coffee in the room, is this a joke?! For a name like Hilton would be very easy to put some proper cups and glasses. We asked for the Crib which were never provided. The neighborhood doesn't look safe and evening (mornings as well) is full with drug people.

nothing They tried to change my card before I arrived and before check in. They over charged me saying the room rate changed in the middle of my stay! 2. Employees were wonderful, our room was terrible. Permanent mildew smell in the bathroom, hot despite thermostat reading 66 degrees, not a single usb charger ( not even on the alarm clock). Restaurant was out of half of the menu and liquor and I’ve had better breakfast at quality inn. I thought Hilton was supposed to be quality, but not the case with this hotel. Spent $25 more and a super big upgrade to go to Hyatt

Great choice for a quick family trip to DC. Hotel was comfortable and staff was friendly/helpful. Location was great in Noma close to Union Market and a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. The Metro stop being so close was also really great, we took the train all over the city. Parking is pricey on-site so we parked at a lot a couple blocks away on M street. Our son loved the pool, but the hot tub never really got hot, more of a warm tub. Overall the hotel was nice, it could use a little updating/deep cleaning but overall was great for our stay.
- 3/5
The hot tub was not at all hot enough, which was a big disappointment after a day of walking and sightseeing. Many other guests appeared disappointed about this, too. An apology notice acknowledging the low temperature of the hot tub would have been nice to see. Our room itself was clean, so no complaints there.

Unfortunately the hot tub was broken and it is the top amenity I look for to book a hotel room. It is my recovery after long days of walking. I walked 10.5 miles our first day and was looking forward to relaxing and recovering my muscles in the hot tub. Went to the third floor and it had caution tape in front and closed. Nothing was mentioned at check in. I was very disappointed

Breakfast was convenient and adequate. Noise in our hall at 2:30 AM Friday was unpleasant but relatively brief
- 4/5
Clean room and staff as very pleasant.
- 5/5
Very clean and beautiful
- 4/5
Only thing was the price for food, to high.
- 5/5
I didn’t have breakfast here as I only used it to sleep, as I left early am and came back late night.
- 3/5
Terrible water pressure
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff .
- 5/5
Awesome desk staff
- 5/5
Everything was fabulous except the parking which wasn’t the fault of the property.
- 3/5
I was with my family and I am very disappointed, because there was a very strong smell of marijuana in the lobby and elevator, and the night security guard also had a strong odor. I would definitely not choose to stay at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Excellent location for visiting DC. Metro only a few minutes walking away. It is an old hotel and has the smell of an old hotel, however the room is clean and service is excellent.

- 5/5
The most wonderful staff. 5 stars, I had unforeseen situations happen and thanks to this property no problems.
- 5/5
Fast service nice room

Good customer service

- 3/5
There was a huge confusion upon check-in; hotel front desk manager was blaming Expedia for not paying them. He went on to demand I pay for the hotel stay immediately and provide another card. He mentioned they kept trying to charge the card on file and payment did not go through. after 30 minutes or so, he finally said everything looked fine after an update and provided the room key.
- 4/5
Very nice accommodations. Room was clean and pleasant aroma. They were having electrical issues affecting the TV so couldnt watch but they provided complimentary snacks for the inconvenience.
- 5/5
Our stay was relaxing and peaceful which was very much needed as we were exhausted every day from sightseeing in DC. Room was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The location was perfect and just a 5 minute walk to get to the Metro station. There was also convenient grocery store next door as well as a CVS and Starbucks.
- 3/5
Clean room. Hot tub was the same temperature as the pool and there were never any pool towels available.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Good internet, location is perfect for our priorities. Staff were very responsive.
- 4/5
The location was perfect, 1 metro stop from Union station. The staff was very friendly. There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint was the room was a little rundown, the backboard of the beds had torn leather. The bed sheets didn’t fit the bed. Otherwise, my stay was pleasant.
- 1/5
Confusion about payment upon check-in. Front desk wanted to charge me again upon arrival and refused access to my room.
- 5/5
loved my room,,didn't use the pool -perfect location to the capital one arena
- 2/5
Bigger pool and hot tub
- 5/5
Clean room and the staff where amazing I love 5 star treatment and they made us feel so welcome and even let us check in early I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Washington DC!
- 3/5
Wi-fi didn't work for me. I asked for help, and received a response, but no IT assistance. Room temp warm and unable to adjust.
- 3/5
We had issues with the staff
- 3/5
The room was clean and a nice size. I did notice the bathroom door needed repair. The bottom of the door was chopped off, also the spa motor was broken so no bubbles in the spa/jacuzzi. Lastly the over priced $55 a night valet option.
- 1/5
- 3/5
booked here mainly for the hot tub, closed entire time we were here
- 5/5
great room and helpful guidance from the front desk on different amenities
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and the staff was great!
- 5/5
Room is spacious and clean, water pressure is great. Reception is also very nice and welcoming. They allow you to drop off your luggage by the front desk if your flight is late/early. Close to a lot of shops like grocery, pharmacy and Starbucks, plus also very close to the nearest metro.
- 5/5
Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Everything was top-tier friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, and great service throughout my visit.
- 1/5
The pool area was below average, and the hot tub was out of order. Overall, the space did not feel inviting. My child, who normally loves swimming, was actually hesitant to get into the pool. Upon arrival, I was not greeted. The receptionist simply looked at me until I initiated the conversation and said I was checking in. I would recommend this hotel only if you expect to spend most of your time outside during your trip.
- 4/5
Room was nice a clean staff very friendly
- 3/5
The room was very spacious and clean. The bartender and cook was great. They were wonderful to talk to. However, my wife and I stayed because of the indoor pool and hot tub. The pictures of the pool area are deceiving. The pool is very small and the water was cold. The hot tub was out of order. Once we saw the hot tub wasn’t in use, we went back to our room.
- 1/5
I booked this flight the night before due to the blizzard just in case we couldn’t make it back to New York. 10 hours before check in I called to inform them that due to the weather we had travel cancellations. Expedia even reached out to them to honor a refund and the denied it. They can care less about your safety, they just wanted the money. The blizzard was all across the news for the eastern coast. I was trying to make it back home to my son
- 5/5
Great staff, room was clean and good location
- 4/5
yes
- 4/5
Very clean, good area, $100-dollar incidental fee; went up from $60 dollars from 4 years ago. The young lady who works breakfast at the hotel restaurant in the morning is amazing and very knowledgeable. The check-in staff was not friendly.
- 3/5
Parking was difficult
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Paid 65 dollars for mandated valet parking but he wasn’t around. Waited awhile and went to room then had to come back and find him. Was told “he’s somewhere and the only one working.” Lots of customers were unpleased. Front desk staff weren’t very friendly, had to go up twice since she didn’t know I booked two rooms. That should automatically pull up with my name. No breakfast. Won’t be staying again.
- 5/5
Great trip
- 5/5
Staff and clean room
- 5/5
Clean room, great and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Great restaurants nearby
- 5/5
Clean room, not fancy but a nice stay for the price.
- 3/5
Hotel was roughly 2 blocks from the metro station, which was very convenient. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I gave it 3 stars because of the charge for the unused bottle of water, the weed smell in the lobby, and the fact that I reserved one type of room and was put in a different room and told that they did not have any queen rooms ready (I checked in at 9pm!).
- 4/5
I loved the location of the hotel, very easy to access key tourist attractions from this location. It was a pleasant stay!
- 1/5
If you could verify this with a letter I can get my $ back
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff were very friendly
- 5/5
Loved it everything was excellent 💯
- 2/5
One of the worst hotel stays I had. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. The tv in our room didn’t work. The room was very humid. Just an overall bad experience.
- 2/5
The staff were not welcoming or helpful. Woman at front desk poorly and lazily explained valet process when checking in. At the bar we waited at least 20 minutes for drink orders to be taken and the bar was very underwhelming. Fire alarm went off all morning and no one notified us, so we rushed out the emergency exit. When we went in the lobby, the front desk people acted as if nothing was happening or out of the ordinary, I had to ask what was going on and they said its just a drill. Later in the day after the drill was over, the slipped a letter in our door notifying us of the drill... I was pretty baffled by the staff at this place, it was a poor stay overall, I'll be staying elsewhere next time I'm in DC.
- 5/5
staff was wonderful! Especially the breakfast buffet team!
- 1/5
Receptionist on all different shifts had attitudes. I don’t know if it was because of the weather. It was so cold. The only people that was nice was the valet and the guys in the restaurant. The furniture in the room was so old and beat up. I was double charge for my stay. And who have to pay taxes on valet so I pay $55 a day for three days plus $9.80.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Room was very clean, staff was very friendly
- 2/5
I got chemical burns from the bot tub which was cold by the way. The staff were extremely unhelpful
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. I had an amazing view.
- 5/5
Great area
- 5/5
The staff was amazing
- 4/5
Staff, continue the great work!
- 3/5
I requested to be notified it the pool was out of order so I could look for another hotel. We only learned the pool was out of order when we arrived at the door to the pool with our two babies all decked out in swim gear. The person at the front desk told us the pool would be operational the next morning and we were welcome to extend our stay to use it in the morning but the person manning the desk the next morning curtly informed us that was something he couldn’t allow. The suite itself was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room. Nice staff and check in. Good location
- 5/5
Aisha the Manager was AMAZING. She was great. Every question or issue she answered quickly and professionally.

- 5/5

Comfortable stay. Good location
- 3/5
Some outlets didn’t work, Some staff were terrific, others were not. dealt with two front desk people that were unpleasant.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
The room was nice the hotel staff solomon with valet is amazing even tho i called for my car 100 times in one night he was always friendly and made me feel like VIP. Dre from the bar she was lovely great conversation, vibes all that ! She was the icing on the cake. The pool is smaller than it looks online and it is DIRTY especially the hot tub it had a layer/ film of dead skin on top of the water YUCK ! The entire stay was beautiful but idk if its a hotel practice but when checking out even tho i made sure to pay all added amenities and showed proof of payment the lady at the front desk made a scene stating i had s balance and couldn’t put my luggage in my car due to a balance that was already paid. I had to call the police because she was holding me and my car hostage and tried to embarrass me. Also, i did not see it in my room but coming off the elevator i saw the biggest roach I’ve ever seen in my life! My room was clean mrs Dawn with housekeeping was very kind and helpful. Everything was beautiful but check out awful. Location is perfect !
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were varying in firmness. The refrigerated was super cold and microwave was a little underpowered. The hallways were very clean so where the elevators the staff at the front desk were very helpful. Shout out to Herman and unfortunately did not get coworkers’s names. Do not hesitate to stay here.
- 5/5
The clean room, staff was very accommodating when I had a heating issue. The overall hotel stay was amazing. Thank you!
- 5/5
room was clean, staff was courteous, valets for auto parking were very nice and attentive.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful! The room was a great size and located close to the metro station! Would stay here again!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Yes it was clean
- 5/5
Staff Great . Rooms clean. Great location to the Metro . Eat at Ted’s Bullentin it’s great food, prices and service.was great. one downside to this hotel ,the hot tub is more is more like a cool bathtub.
- 3/5
Staff were amazing but the rooms had issues, both rooms had bathtubs w the drain broken and one of the rooms only had likewarm water not hot.
- 3/5
Hot tub was Down. Front desk staff was Very rude and unwelcoming.
- 1/5
The room smelled of onions fridge was broken , bed was not a king and we were to be joined with our friends and were not
- 3/5
The facilities need an upgrade, the rest is reasonably fine at this price
- 5/5
Very nice front desk, staff and very clean rooms
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Availability even with honors. The staff was nice and the room clean.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, convenient location
- 5/5
Room was very clean..Hotel was located where you can get to food and other things to do!
- 5/5
Property was really nice. My only complaint is the valet. It’s not the hotels fault. But it is very difficult to pull up to valet there since it’s in the middle of DC
- 5/5
Yes the room was clean the staff was very helpful and the family had a good time at the pool.
- 5/5
The room was spacious clean and updated. The staff was always friendly and very helpful upon arrival
- 3/5
The hot tub was basically room temp and disappointing.
- 5/5
Overall experience
- 5/5
Clean and nice
- 4/5
The hotel has been great on both visits. Aside from a stained sheet, and a smokey hall smell on arrival this time, it offered all we needed. Metro around the corner, grocery store nearby, CVS and food options within 1-5 mins walk. Staff always helpful at the drop of a hat. Thus we made this a second visit in a year to the hotel. I'd go back any day.
- 5/5
Unfortunately the pool area was closed. I was very much looking fwd to using the hot tub but we were unable to do so. The breakfast area was VERY BUSY but it was a holiday weekend, so, to be expected. Service was great. The Christmas/winter decor was breathtaking, very lovely atmosphere. The staff were EXCELLENT. You hav e to use a room key in elevator and I greatly dislike that kind, but our stay was still very very nice.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Hotel facility was clean. Our bathroom sink gurgled all night. Fortunately it did not back up but we could hear it was close to backing up. Bathroom plug outlet did not work so it was a challenge to get cleaned up. Pool was also out of order for our entire stay.
- 5/5
Esete at the front desk was so nice to talk to every day. The staff were so friendly and professional.
- 1/5
I called to see about a pool and being open while there. I told what days there. Pool is open. Get there. Not open. Tell me next day 8:00am will be open. Next day not open. It's obvious don't run the heater on the pool during work week. At least be honest. Say pool weekend only. Why twice not tell the truth. Tell me pools open and will be open. If your dishonest here I assume your dishonest some where else.
- 5/5
Big and clean room
- 4/5
Hot tub was not working properly and pool room was closed on one day/night we stayed. All else was great.
- 5/5
Excellent room and accommodations! Close to the venue we were visiting too!
- 5/5
Loved everything about my stay there
- 1/5
Nothing like we would have thought roaches running around in the lobby the toilet backed up every night some of the staff was so rude not all I wouldn’t ever pick this hotel again
- 4/5
The beds were super comfortable, the double queen bed rooms were the perfect size for myself and two children. The location is super convenient especially with restaurants and convenience stores just steps away. Check in was quick and simple. It’s also walking distance to union station and convenient to other area attractions. I’d absolutely use this location again.

- 5/5
Easy access to close by stores
- 3/5
We did not receive room cleaning the second day
- 3/5
The hotel is nice. The location is the real win. I was disappointed that you are charged for water. I opt’d out of the breakfast. There’s a good supermarket on the corner to grab the essentials. The staff was nice.
- 4/5
Check in is a bit too late however !
- 5/5
Very clean hotel
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff was prompt and helpful. Because I booked through Expedia, I was unable to link the reservation to my Hilton Honors account, though.
- 4/5
Unable to get small portions or one dish at breakfadt..
- 5/5
I love the hotel and the area it was in. Not far from stores.
- 4/5
Great area. Good service. Terrible hot tub :(
- 5/5
Staff took excellent care of us. Handicap room was pristine and roomy.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, good room rate
- 5/5
Great location, easy valet, nice, comfortable room.
- 1/5
Mold on the pillowcase, rust in the bathroom, broken lamp shade, what looked like blood smears on the ceiling, strange smell in the room, and we got food poisoning from chicken in the hotel restaurant. Aftee all of this, nobody came to the room to see the issues. Nobody offered another room to us. The manager wouldn't remove the chicken from the restaurant bill. They charged us for all 3 nights even though we left after one night. They said they would see what could be done about the bill and call me within 2 days. It's been over a week - no phone call. I'm a Hilton memeber and know this is not a normal experience. This location needs to close!
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 4/5
Most staff was great. The managers weren’t as welcoming. Hotel is fine but it didn’t feel like a Hilton Hotel. Felt a little dated. You could tell the carpets weren’t super clean. The color helped hid dirt and stains. Also, the AC didn’t work well.
- 4/5
As expected. Dinner was lacking. Poor service food ok.
- 5/5
I really appreciate the courtesy and ease of check-in.
- 5/5
Great location, nice, big, comfortable room. Convenient, fast car valet service.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Great central location, close to metro station, plenty of food options, and convenient stores.
- 5/5
Yes absolutely clean was restocked bed made up
- 1/5
Check in process
- 3/5
Hotel was in a great location . Very loud and noisy in the hotel rooms
- 1/5
I was never given a room, they said that Expedia oversold their room. And they don't have any room available and ask for a refund from Expedia not them.
- 1/5
I’m not recommended this place. A lot of homeless around, broke crystal bottles in the floor, people requesting money outside the hotel, super dirty. The bed broke, the trashcan in front of the elevator full and smell really bad. The elevator smell super bad. The staff are not friendly. They even offer the breakfast menu, hours or any amenities of the hotel. They don’t have parking. And the valet always full. We need to park like 4 streets far away from the hotel and pay more than $40 per nigh. The hotel close the main entrance at 4 pm and lock everything. We need to wait for them or use the card. Really bad experience for a Hilton Hotel.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Everything is good
- 1/5
Hot tub was out of service, hotel felt like it was very basic for the price.
- 5/5
So far so good. The check him was easy and the room a good size and well fitted out. Bathroom has a good shower and the usual products.

I came to visit family! Nur was amazing, I arrived super early but Nur accommodated me without any hesitation! The house keeping was amazing. The hotel smelled cleaned, looked clean and was very clean!
- 4/5
Enjoy this hotel. The location was superb. The only issue I had was the valet parking. Not efficient at times.
- 5/5
Heat stay with amazing staff!!
- 5/5
Overall was a great stay!
- 3/5
Room was good bathrooms wall paper was peeling. Breakfast didn’t come with reservation and it cost 23 dollars per person to eat breakfast there. Great location comfortable beds. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition.
- 3/5
Valet parking is a joke, so hard to get in and out, very expensive and not convenient at all. Had to call the desk twice to open the pool for my kids because it was not opened during the hours posted on all the signs, false fire alarm also went off around 8:45 in the morning during our stay.
- 4/5
It was comfy, safe, clean, there were a couple restaurants near by, & a grocery store right there. Hotel staff was friendly.
- 3/5
Pretty basic room. Stayed over the weekend with family. Just a place to sleep very convenient I’d say as far as getting around to do other things.
- 5/5
Great room and friendly staff!
- 1/5
Staff was rude
- 5/5

Great place near city center
- 5/5
Stayed 2 nights for a 1st amendment rally/march in DC. Great location as it is so close to a metro station. Grocery store right next door and fridge in the room. Staff was very nice. Clean and quiet room #717. Didn't use parking or partake of the restaurant/bar/room servic
- 5/5
Nice room, staff and location
- 2/5
I was very upset when I checked in and paid specifically asked if Spa was working. Was told absolutely. Went down that night roped off. When I talked to manager said it just broke but would call engineer and get fixed. 4 nights later still not fixed and got nothing in return. This was the only reason I booked this hotel and was lied to at check in. So don’t believe them when you check in go see for yourself before paying.
- 4/5
Nice hôtel, great staff in a new neighborhood but so many pot smokers I wouldn't go back
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
Amazing staff!
- 5/5
All went very well!!!
- 3/5
Upon valeting my vehicle my rental car was involved in a hit and run. Valet had keys in hand and I was walking inside hotel when accident occurred. Also valet charged me for 3 nights when it should have been 2 nights. Concierge and housekeeping staff was courteous and polite.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Was very pleased with cleanliness and comfortably of the bed and pillows!
- 5/5
The customer service was outstanding. The amenities in the hotel room were great--coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator. The location is next to a grocery and many eateries. Easy to get around the city. I recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was great. I was in the elevator with 2 big bags and 2 kind men on staff helped me bring them to my room. Room was spacious and clean

the room was amazing and very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5

- 3/5
Room needs updating. Peeling wallpaper, worn out furniture.
- 5/5
The executive room 2 double bed is spacious. Hotel staff are approachable and helpful. I would like to book this hotel next time.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 3/5
The hotel was okay for a long weekend. But there were several problems. In our room, the sink handle was broken a wouldn't shut the water flow off unless it was in the exact right position. The toilet handles also would need to be jiggled after flushing to stop running. We were also underwhelmed by the pool and hot tub, which was more like a luke-warm tub. Worst of all was when one of the elevators went out of service, resulting in long waits and tight trips to the ground floor. Our stay wasn't wholly terrible, but the hotel could be much improved.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!! The manager is top notch!! He accommodated us for the Marine Corp Marathon with the metro being closed for hours…. Can’t say enough about this hotel and staff. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel while visiting DC!!
- 5/5
Room was clean
- 3/5
No parking in area Valet parking very expensive Breakfast: Limited options Too expensive
- 5/5
Staff was pleasant the hotel was in a great location and easily accessible to restaurant options.
- 5/5
Great location and accessible
- 5/5
was good for a night to see a show
- 1/5
The property was clean. My room smelled of mold first entry. The floor in the room had holes all over. Head board was ripped up. When i arrivedto the hotel i was told my card was charged a deposit which i knew of. The front desk agent informed me of all policies parking was $55 a day and my check in card was charged for that. My car was parked for the whole weekend, caught lyft my whole stay. My first card was charged the whole deposit without any explanation on why. I was told parking when parking is $55 for 24 hours. I reached the hotel at 5:30pm friday and left sunday at 11am thats not a whole 48 hours ok cool. The room wasnt trashed, messed up or nothing i always clean my room before i go. So please help me understand why i didnt get my deposit back. My room total cost was $355 the charged additional $300. I will never stay here again. We went to the gym only 1 treadmill works couldnt work out because someone was on the only 1 that worked. The pool had bloody bandages in it and around the pool. The jacuzzi had all kind of floaties in it
- 5/5
Staff was very pleasant, helpful and courteous. Valet parking attendants were positive and proactive to my needs. Very helpful
- 5/5

- 5/5
Love This Location!!! Made My Stay So Easy And Smooth.
- 4/5
Friendly staff; very accomodating
- 5/5
Great stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was horrible and not worth the $48 we paid
- 4/5
I know the staff are busy but they should explain more that the taxi button doesn’t work.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly, loved my stay here.
- 4/5
Nice clean room. Good value for money
- 2/5
Room has recently went under a maintenance renovation and should not have been occupied.
- 3/5
Room 1317 was clean but definitely due for a refresh. Hot tub didn't work. Pool is small and probably warmer than the hot tub. Breakfast was ok. Didn't even have a waffle maker which I think is standard at this point. Kitchen staff was friendly and accommodating though so if you don't see something just ask. Andy's pizza down the street was amazing and is a must! Valet parking was convenient to use with requesting service via your cell phone. Complimentary shampoo/conditioner/soap isn't good quality. About 30 minute walk to US capitol but many Lime bike's available close by to ride down. Hotel needs an overall refresh.
- 4/5
Rooms are nice, bed is comfortable and amenities are decent. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The pool/hot tub closed a little early but overall I was well satisfied with my stay.
- 5/5
Great location and night staff (security and front desk) were so friendly and helpful. Room was not bed size paid for (queen instead of king) but no others available. Room was still great accommodation, just wish this would have been disclosed. Having water foundations in hotel would be useful to improve eco-friendliness.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The entire staff was amazing.. from Candice at the front desk, to Millie at breakfast. We were extremely pleased with the service and kindness of the staff.

Comfortable room, very kind and welcoming staff at front desk and for our room. Excellent location with Metro close, grocery store basically next door, and nearby dining. Only downsides were one elevator in operation the first night, pool closes early, and treadmills in fitness center were not in good shape.
- 5/5
Herman made this stat worth it. He was kind, professional, and accommodating to a customer’s needs. The restaurant staff was as fun and professional!
- 3/5
Property was nice! Just didn’t get the room I booked!

- 5/5
New enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
The staff was excellent. The pool was drained and closed. Close to the metro.
- 4/5
Front desk are nice and helpful as well as the valet parking people.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
It's not up to date furniture wise..but I have no complaints about it at all...I will stay there again

Horrible. Could Not Accommodate Us In Any Way
- 2/5
Old fashioned outlet offer me breakfast and charge me for it wasn’t nice the way they talk to me

Hotel staff recommended book night prior and indicate on reservation… Got to hotel from red eye flight and hotel staff indicated system checked us out. Hotel blamed Expedia for rot being “aware” of the reservation note. Hotel blamed Expedia despite hotel submitting check in reservation notes etc. Hotel staff appeared overwhelmed with this situation and customer service was strained. Took a couple hours to fix the issue meanwhile we were basically tired and displaced!
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
The rooms needed much dusting. There was a gnat (incest) problem towards the end of our stay and limited lighting in rooms. Moreover, limited toiletries. Smh...
- 5/5
Excellent hotel will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was completely nice. Had next door get loud but staff quickly solved that issue. The valet guys were extremely nice and helped with things.
- 5/5
Great place to stay !
- 4/5
Great location, close to great food options
- 5/5
Only thing I didn't like the pool close to early and the hot tub.
- 5/5
It was an amazing stay. The staff are especially kinf and attentive. Would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Location was nice and safe to walk.
- 5/5
Booked for one day and ended up staying THREE!
- 2/5
The room smelled like marijuana. The bed frame was peeling all over. The mirror in the bathroom was busted with saran wrap on it. Doors slamming all night. I couldn't get in to vallet parking and had to circle the block 18 times. Parked in a spot on the street and asked the manager if it was good there, he said yes then I come out to find a ticket and a order to tow. Ridiculous
- 5/5
This property is on the basic side in terms of quality. It’s far from new but to be honest thr staff were so amazing they totally made up for the difference. The salad from the hotel restaurant was amazing, the Valet super helpful and having Harris Teeter right there was so handy when my son needed some things!! I highly recommend.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff were friendly, but took a while for them to check me in, location is convenient, everything is in walking distance. Overall solid place to stay and would recommend!
- 3/5
Lots of gnats, security was apathetic
- 4/5
I had shrimp taco dinner and it was amazing. Breakfast was good as well, coffee was fresh, eggs cooked to order for the buffet and service was friendly.
- 4/5
Hotel was pretty decent if you don’t have high standards but I stayed at a Hilton in Miami and staying at this one in DC only made me confirm I don’t like hiltons.
- 2/5
Room was good for 1 night. Parking was terrible they have a valet parking which you have to leave $100 for them to park it. You get $50 back form your $100. Late night rats everywhere. Staff were rude they transferred me over because they thought I spoke Spanish ? When I wanted to change the name to another person. They wouldn’t let me because it’s from a third party. Thank you for the temp stay. Not worth it
- 5/5
The breakfast was above par even though it cost us. Still dislike the no parking option, but our valet was excellent, friendly, and quick. It is close to the metro and has basic food options within easy walking distance. Overall a very nice hotel with great staff!
- 4/5
Our family had two rooms and one room the AC worked great, but in the next room it wouldn’t cool off. The pool closes at 8pm which is a tad early.
- 2/5
This hotel doesn’t even close close to the Hilton standard. Hotel desperately needs updating. Rooms are clearly in decline and my colleagues room had a cockroach in the shower! Pool was filthy and bar had no service or decent choices. At this I would have to recommend against staying there.
- 3/5
Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly. Rooms were serviced when requested. Hotel is outdated and in need of some renovations. Hotel parking is expensive and not much street parking available without risking getting a ticket.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff.
- 1/5
No clean as are expecting it housekeeping don’t even come the whole time I went there
- 2/5
The elevator created a really loud noise that made sleeping in the room difficult. The hotel itself was safe and security was very good.
- 5/5
I had a pleasant visit.
- 5/5
Clean, staff super friendly and helpful
- 4/5
walking distance from Capital Hill.
- 4/5
Property was nice enough. Staff weren’t overly friendly and wouldn’t step aside to allow guests to pass when vacuuming or washing the door windows. They actually seemed annoyed that you needed to pass through. Location was decent as walkable distance to rail system. We felt safe going to and from the hotel.
- 5/5
Easy access in the heart of the city, happy with the valet parking
- 1/5
Old outdated rude slow service. Joke for a Hilton
- 4/5
The staff was nice, room could use minor updates but hotel overall nice. Valet parking was good, except not many spots in front of the hotel so had to drive around a couple of times until someone moved because can only park in their spots for them to park your car. There is a grocery store and several fast food options in walking distance of the hotel, and the metro train is in walking distance which is great.
- 5/5
The stay was amazing and the staff was friendly
- 5/5
It was nice and clean
- 5/5
It was near a grocery store and other places you could go eat. Also had a bar and restaurant within
- 4/5
The property was excellent but expensive
- 2/5
There were cracks in the softer parts of the headboard, which indicated to me that these were very old. There were a few stains on the floor and on the ceiling and on a door. It’s a decent place to stay, but it’s just very old. There are no USB outlets in the room.
- 5/5
Close to parking decks and central location
- 2/5
Not worth it
- 3/5
I did only book for one night so I did not take advantage of the amenities provided. There was no hand soap in the restroom to my surprise as well. The security guard did not greet us as we entered into the lobby after enjoying our night out in DC. My view overall is, it was a place to stay in for the night. These are a couple of things I noticed on my stay here.

Clean rooms friendly staff bar and kitchen help super cool guys was overall a great stay parking is expensive only valet available at 55$ a night but is safest bet beds were not very comfortable and could benefit from better pillows as well and atleast 4 per bed
- 5/5
Staff are helpful and nice Convenient place near restaurant and stores and specially union station Only issue is when checking in orbitz card decline and too much mosquitoes in the lobby and lobby carpet needs a replacement
- 5/5
Very helpful front desk staff. Able to check in early and beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Greatest
- 3/5
Parking is misleading, there is no parking on the premises for guests to enter/leave. In fact, there’s an excessive need for the room key to enter the hotel, elevators etc. which was frustrating.
- 4/5
My husband and I spent 4 days at this location and we enjoyed our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and they kept our room very clean. The shower head pressure was nice and I actually enjoyed the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided by the hotel. There was plenty of things to do within a decent walking distance and everything sightseeing wise was about a 15 min drive in a uber. If you like to go dancing and enjoy the nightlife there was a night club called level up DC like two blocks away from the hotel that we walked too. It looked dead on the outside but inside it was not. We had a great time there. There is a CVS across the street, a grocery store and a potbelly restaurant directly next door on either side of the hotel. My only complaint would de the hot tub and pool area. I specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub for some relaxation time with my husband while on vacay and both times we went to get in, the strong aroma of pool chemicals would almost knock us backwards. When we opened the door to go in it was so was strong and the water was visibly cloudy with chemicals we decided against getting in both times.

They get a one star because they didn’t let me stay after I tried notifying them that I was going to be a late check in.
- 3/5
Old and outdated. Stinks in lobby

- 4/5
this location was in a area where we needed to be to get around to the things we needed to get to
- 5/5
Excellent staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very close to grocery store close to a Metro station in about two blocks away from the union station. Coffee shops all around.
- 3/5
BTW… it isn’t just at this
- 4/5
For the price and location very ideal. Staff was friendly and accommodating from front desk to housekeeping. Hotel is very clean, smells amazing, and is eco friendly. Our experience with the bed unfortunately was very uncomfortable for our taste. The pool very clean and we'll kept but the rough uncured concrete material is damaging.
- 5/5
Great!

Everything was grest

No complaints.

Property was very walkable

This hotel was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had. I drive for hours to get there to take my son to the museums and see the sites there. When we arrived it was late. They offered to park my car not telling me it was a fee. As soon as they drove off and I was checking in I asked and quickly got my car back to park it myself. But they still charged me for the night even though they never made it to the parking lot. Then they gave me a few breakfast for the two days we were there and said it was in the house for being a veteran. Come to find out that was a lie as well. I had the two staff members the first night tell me they were taking the parking charges off and found out the day I checked out they hadn’t done it. So another staff member said she would take care of it and as I stood there
- 4/5
Wish there were more dining places within walking distance. Very close to the federal buildings, museums, and monuments. Moniece and Dre were great!!

We enjoyed our stay, nice area and convenient.

Good hotel good vibes my very first time coming and I’ll be coming back

Backboard was ripped up. Red stain in the carpet. Toilet paper roll was far away from the toilet.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Everything is so convenient. I can shop explore and enjoy a comfortable, peaceful, clean hotel
- 5/5
Every thing
- 2/5
My stay here was terrible. They gave me a key to a room that was occupied then act like it was my fault. Construction made the entire building uninhabitable during the day and when I asked about it, I was told to just come back in the evening. Misleading signage all over the hotel tries to beat you into buying things with the promise that things are free. The Wi-Fi landing page offered a free breakfast buffet, but when I asked about it, there was no breakfast buffet to be had. not gonna stay at Hilton again.
- 5/5
Great staff. Great location. Nice room.
- 5/5
Staff super happy
- 5/5
Valley staff was great. Front desk very helpful upon check-in. Overnight parking price outrageous but I think that’s everywhere in that area. Overall great stay.
