This hotel was in a great location for our purposes. It was a quick weekend stay. It was walking distance to the Washington Harbor where there are many nice restaurants for a quick lunch. Front desk was pleasant and room was cleaned. They do require a $100/deposit hold on your card for incidentals. That wasn’t mention in the hotel polices. Normally hotels do require a card for that purpose, but don’t hold a $200 deposit on your card. Overall a good stay. Would stay again.

Only stayed one night, super comfortable and clean room, wonderful staff, fantastic location. Did not use amenities (wifi, pool, gym, restaurant) so can't comment. A bit dark in the room, no hand held shower hose or rainfall shower head. Otherwise excellent and I would definitely stay again.

Our hotel experience was amazing. The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Pool was nice. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood. It was close to all of the main museums and parks. The cost was reasonable. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and I would recommend this hotel to others.

The elevator took forever to work. 6-7 min wait. Which is unacceptable because they only had one working the whole timers were there and it made us miss our flight Ubers because of having to wait expended longer times because the elevator was always full.

Parking is $70+ a day, but across the street, we found $39 a day parking, so if you're staying here, avoid their "Valet Parking".

Overall it was a nice hotel, clean, with comfortable beds. The room included a microwave and refrigerator and coffee maker, which was nice. There were a few things not working properly, the refrigerator froze things and the bureau drawers were misaligned and hard to open and close. I brought the refrigerator situation to the attention of the front desk but it wasn't fixed before I left. The hotel is handy if you need to be in the Georgetown area and is near a lot of restaurants with a CVS across the street. It's about 3 blocks to the nearest metro. I did not eat in the restaurant other than a drink one evening before going out. Room service is only available late in the day until 9 pm. And if you come in late at night there are no restaurants in the area open for food after 9pm. I always felt safe walking around the area at night even in the evenings.

Clean rooms. No parking on site even though it says there is, so you end up paying for valley or walking forever away. They also have a rooftop pool that I was told was open year around and it wasn’t. Don’t waste your money.

The Hilton Garden Suites was located in a perfect spot for my stay. I took Ubers multiple times and never had a problem with them finding the hotel. From check in to leaving everything was spot on. There was a bar and restaurant on the Premises. If there was a higher rating you would definitely deserve it! I would have loved a stay longer to see the cherry blossoms and tour the museums!

The scent of Christmas trees when you come in is really overpowering giving me a headache every time I came in or out of the lobby. Please turn down the scent, it’s really strong.

The only downside I would say is lack of communication from staff- there was no information offered as to where to get dinner or any food as the restaurant was shut down due to the storm- advice would’ve been very helpful during our stay

The room said a separate seating area and picture showed a couch but that’s not what I received. Also, the shower wouldn’t get hot, only warm after letting it run for 20 minutes. The sliding shower door wouldn’t stay closed. The micro fridge didn’t have an icebox section and only cooled till slightly above room temperature. The live TV option was very limited and most of the channels would not stream through so be prepared to log into your own apps. The people were nice, the place was dog friendly and I liked that you had to have a key to proceed to the floors from the elevator. However, the Embassy suites, on the same block, was cheaper and had an indoor pool. Also dog friendly so disappointed that they did not come up on the same search parameters.

The front desk staff was great! I noticed holes in my sheets and that was not great. I also don't think my bathroom was cleaned well. Other than that, the hotel seemed lovely, the staff is great and anything I saw is easily corrected.

Only complaint is a couple of the pillows smelled strongly like weed. The actual pillow because when the pillow case was removed the smell was still there, but we had enough pillows to swap those two out and had no others issues. Cleanliness of the room aside was great. Shower had good water pressure and good temperature. Tables were dust-free and all outlets in the room worked fine.

Amazing location and value. The beds were very comfortable and each bed had a selection of different pillow types to accommodate different sleeping styles (back, stomach and side sleepers). The daily valet parking includes unlimited in and out priveledges for convenience. The food was good in the restaurant, but the coctails were underwhelming. Would stay here again.

The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown, with plenty of restaurants nearby, paid parking options, and a very safe environment. The train station is just a 10 minure walk away, which make it very convenient. HOWEVER, the customer service was disappointing. When I checked in, every questions I asked was met with a flat "no, and the front desk staff showed little to no interest in helping, despite me being new to the area. Even during checkout, they continued chatting among themselves, took my key, and didn't even say goodbye. While the locaiton is good, I woudn't recommend this hotel due to the poor customer service.

It was reasonably priced and very near my treatment at Georgetown medical center. The staff were always willing to help and food was great at Jeff George’s on the first floor. A Walgreen is right across the street which was convenient for my two week stay. I choose a room on the quiet side and literally couldn’t have asked for more. A+ for everything

Upon checking in there was dog food on our floor. One elevator was not working waited sometimes almost 5 minutes to get on. Also couldn’t enjoy watching tv because it would freeze and stay frozen until turning off tv.

I stayed in May and left some objects in the hotel room. I called the same day and was told by the staff that my things were found. I was given an email address to send a shipping label for them to send my things to me. Three months later I have not received anything. I called so many times and spoke to several staff members and they give me the run around. Daria the manager never even called me back. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff is amazing!! But one of the elevators were broke and only having 1 was a little challenging. Also, there is no parking except for valet and that is 60 a night. I parked 1 block over and walked back to the hotel after dropping all my items off. That was very irritating but the walk was doable.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service! Walkable to landmarks, we also used nearby train station to reduce walk time in hot weather. Staff was wonderful, helped us navigate the train system and helped when in need of anything. Neighborhood was safe and convenient with lots of dining options for families and a convenience store across the street. Pool is small and was crowded with teens while we were there, but it was nice for a quick dip on a hot day. Definitely recommend this for a trip to DC, especially with a family!

My sister and i had a lovely stay. We are from DC, but no longer live there. This was the perfect place to reconnect with our beautiful city. The bonus was to have Chef George's Restaurant/ bar attched to the hotel lobby area. We enjoyed breakfast daily and a couple of delicious lunches and dinners. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was good. The service was great. The only complaint is that the bathrooms don’t have an exhaust fan so it made the room very humid after 4 of us showered. Then that made the room temp rise and the AC couldn’t keep up. I saw that mentioned on another review before our trip and thought “big deal no fan” but once we had to deal with it I understood. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

After paying for the week and noting on Hotels.com that are included all taxes and fees we were unpleasantly surprised when we arrive to the facility to learn that we not only would have to pay an incidental charge upfront, but it was $100 per night so an unexpected $500 hold on my debit card was not what we had planned for. Nor do I think it’s acceptable to not have that advertised as it should be. Your website states that there will be a credit card held, but it does not state an amount or the fact that they will actually take that amount from your available balance while you were staying. In addition to that we were hit with another fee of $60 per night to park, which is absolutely absurd, considering What we paid up to the standard of that charge that amount. Getting past all of the incidentals and parking fees to the business center order for one of my patients and realized that your business center has no fax machine. You have a computer and printer no pens no pencils no fax machine no assistance. What business center in 2025, not have a fax machine? When to wash clothes, washing machine and dryers that are coin operated with no change dispenser. Yeah again I was put out and had to find an ATM. long line of people waiting to wash the clothes with one washer first night arrived at Restaurant and was told they were out of multiple items. The air conditioner was broken in our room and TV was broken. Pool is not as pictured & roaches dead around.

The exercise room was small but well equipped. Needed more updates and a direct connection to order room service, not just from the one restaurant in the hotel. However the hotel was close enough--10-20 minutes from all the famous museums--National Mall, etc. Busy, city area, not the quietest but close to everything, Walgreens across the street and coffee shops, some good restaurants. Would stay there again as price for a double queen was decent. However nothing glamorous or extra attention to details as you get in the regular Hilton Hotels.

Everything was great. Staff was attentive and amazing. Expedia doesn’t list that there’s a $300 deposit just and FYI! If you don’t want to valet your car park at the Ritz it’s cheaper and right across the street. Everything overall was a 10/10

Hotel room was very nice, clean and spacious. Very nice. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was there is no concierge at the hotel. Important service to have for visitors.

We really liked the location of this property, but picked it based on having a valet so that parking would be handled. Unfortunately, the valet spots were already full when we arrived, so we had to figure out self-parking - something we specifically tried to avoid. If you plan to use the valet service and arrive after 6pm, maybe call to check if there is availability before arriving.

White House is 28 minute walk from this hotel and other points of interest are further. The cleaners don’t leave enough towels for registered guests— 3 instead of 4, and I had to request additional service almost every single day because of it. Vehicles are $60-70 a day valet not $50 as listed on hotel site.

I managed to secure a room for the second night at this property. What a difference 2 miles makes! Such a nicer area in Georgetown (safer I was told) and the staff went out of their way to make my check-in easy and even helped me print some papers I needed for my conference! Would highly recommend this Georgetown property! (Don't get confused and stay at the one that says Washington DC)!

The staff had a pleasant demeanor but lacked communication which for me is bad customer service. I struggled with my bags because the Valet is also the bellman and security guard. I called down for tea in the morning to be sent to the room they said we had to come to the lobby to get it, fine. I packed my bags and went down to get tea only to be told oh, the tea is gone it’s over at 10am. Why wasn’t that communicated when I initially inquired. It was a if you don’t ask we’re not going the extra mile to telling you. We needed our key to use the elevator which is a pretty standard thing. However, to assume I knew that about that hotel was also poor. I realized because another guest was on the elevator with me so she pressed my floor for me with her key. I would have had my key out ready. Thankful someone was in the elevator to help. Also, we came in after midnight and was standing in the doorway locked out bc again you needed your key to access the hotel. We stood there trying to get the receptionist attention for what felt like forever because it was so cold before I looked around and realized I needed my room key. Upon check in I paid my balance that I knew was due only for her to tell me after that she held the deposit on that card as well. I was fully prepared to use a diff card for my deposit. I’ve never checked in to the hotel and they don’t explain what’s being done before doing it. Especially when it comes to charging your card.

The listing on Expedia says this hotel has free parking. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and found we had to pay $50 a night for valet. Water in the shower was always lukewarm, bathroom walls had dirty marks on them. Not impressed. Would not stay here again.

The place was clean, and the person at the desk was warm and competent and swift. The furniture was in very good shape, including the mattress and even the pillows on the bed were relatively new. I appreciated the lighting options and the ample outlets, though the bathroom could have used just a bit more light; the one light around the mirror was good, but not quite bright enough. Shower and controls were good, the thermostat worked well and the heater was not too noisy. Wifi was very fast and hookup simple. Restaurant looks good and has good options, but it's very pricey, as is parking (Valey only). The gym was larger and more pleasant than most hotel gyms, and actually had three (3!) treadmills, and a nice collection of other equipment, all well-cared for.

Perfect location in West End surrounded by the best bakeries, a short walk to a metro stop, 10 minute walk to Georgetown, etc. Stayed for a total of 5 days and was beyond satisfied with my entire experience. Very clean, safe, and staff was friendly. Highly recommend! Will definitely be checking in again on my next trip to DC. Thank you for the awesome stay!

Went to DC for a couples getaway, it was an amazing Hilton in Georgetown. Beautiful area, amazing accommodations and people. Genuinely helpful staff.
