Loved how friendly everyone was! The daily happy hour is also a plus, and the kids loved cooling off in the pool Breakfast is good. Pool can use an update, but it didn't bother us too much.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was great! it was my friends birthday and Sayed gave us wine at check in which was so nice! The bar was gorgeous and so was our room. I have no complaints!!

Service was excellent. On breakfast toasters were not working for two days that was little inconvenient.but over all everything was good.

It was a wonderful stay! Loved it all!
- 4.5/5
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and gave us all the info we needed. Breakfast wasn’t of the greatest quality.
- 4/5
The cleaning staff is very attentive and the staff at breakfast was efficient. If you are adverse to children around you all the time, I would choose a different hotel. It was very convenient to the metro and 20 minute walk to most main areas of the city. I definitely think everything about it was nice, but again, if you are not interested in being around school groups and families (work trip) I would choose a different hotel. The rooms did have Starbucks pods in them and Crabtree & Evelyn bath products.

I liked the free breakfast and also the free happy hour drinks for adults. I didnt like that my bedroom sheets and pillowcases had stains upon my entry. Also the plates for breakfast were dirty too.

a lot of fresh fruit for breakfast no availability of gluten free bread and pastry for breakfast. I asked for it and the answer was we are very sorry but nobody asks and therefore we do not have. I have purchased both gluten free bread and muffins available at the supermarket just in front of the hotel
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place to stay. Everyone was so nice.
- 1/5
The hotel was way too hot. The room wouldn’t get any colder unless we asked the front desk. It was so stuffy in there I would never come back
- 5/5
Everything was great. All employees were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good, the cooks at the made to order station were so friendly. The free drinks in the evening were a treat and the bartenders were all really nice.
- 5/5
I was impressed with the hotel amenities and the upper level rooms. We had two adjoining rooms with living space that was very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and provided exceptional service. The restaurant was good and provided good value overall. We would stay here again for sure. Family friendly and lots of space inside to move around and hang out in. Thanks!
- 5/5
Loved our stay here, would definitely stay again. Only downside was the parking cost of $70-ish/night.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice.
- 3/5
It's a family oriented hotel. I could not use the pool, too crowed with kids screaming and jumping and their parents all squeezed in the hot tub. the gyn was also super crowded. The elevators did not work well, we were afraid to stay stuck. The breakfast is okay but so crowded that some items are gone in seconds. the healthy options are very limited and the coffee not good.
- 5/5
Comfortable room great amenities
- 5/5
BOOK IT!! Beautifully appointed hotel in the heart of DC close to the WH and other sites within a 15-20 minute drive! The property was high end modern, spotless and the amenities were great. Beautiful suite with a separate living room area, great modern shower and conveniences. Welcoming lobby with a nice Zen feel, and their bar/dining area was semi private but with a nicely arranged eating area with small tables, booths, cafe style bar stools and couches. Free welcome drinks and appetizers were a nice surprise, and the food offered through their restaurant was terrific. Free hot and cold breakfast was awesome, and even with all this our stay was very reasonably priced! We HIGHLY recommend staying here! We will definitely be staying there again!

Great rooms and spectacular service. Will book again
- 4/5
Missed breakfast as woke up late but overall hotel was very comfortable
- 5/5
Nicer furnishings than embassy suites rooms in the lower levels.
- 4/5
The room was wonderful, beds comfortable, quiet environment. Breakfast had different choices, but the plates weren’t very clean. I just had breakfast elsewhere. The room being quiet was a much bigger priority for me though.
- 5/5
All staff were exceptionally helpful; especially the housekeeping. The hot tub was such a wonderful option after walking all day.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice and quiet. Everything was well maintained and the complimentary happy hour drink and breakfast was appreciated
- 5/5
Nice gym. Very friendly, responsive, and helpful staff. Nice room. A little confusing to get in and out of the nearby parking garage (not the one adjacent to hotel.) Also a little confusing that check-in is on the 7th floor. Forgot my key and staff was very thorough and helpful. But lovely building and good food and bar service.
- 5/5
Good breakfast variety and the complimentary bar coupons made it even better.

- 5/5
A lovely place to stay! Our room was large and comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast was large and delicious. We loved having a restaurant on site for dinner that was actually delicious. Great locations - 10 minute walk to the metro.
- 4/5
I will make sure to visit DC just to stay at the Hilton District
- 5/5
This is my second stay at this hotel. The room is spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and there are lots of choices. If I return to DC, I will stay here again.
- 5/5
The rooms were decent. The staff was kind. The evening reception was okay. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was decent. I've experienced much better omelets at other Embassy's. The only things I didn't like were the parking and the butler (I think his name is Denzel), was very annoying to the customers.
- 5/5
Good conditions
- 5/5
We had a wonderful check-in experience with Anna. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. She made sure everything went smoothly and answered all our questions with a smile. Thank you, Anna, for making our stay start off so pleasantly!
- 5/5

- 5/5
This hotel was really nice. Our room was so clean and comfortable. After long days site seeing it was so nice to come back to such a great room to relax in. The staff was extremely nice as well.
- 4/5
One of the Elevators was broken the entire time leaving only two working for a huge hotel.

Awesome stay!

Our hotel had so many amenities.Loved the comfortable robes and great hospitality!
- 5/5
Great place for families, clean!
- 5/5
Amazing breakfast Amazing staff Very clean.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed our stay here! They have all the amenities and centrally located. We stayed at the Hilton Club District portion but they are in the same building as Embassy Suites for anyone confused about that. Very communicative and helpful throughout the stay.
- 5/5
I appreciated the beauty and comfortable arrangement of the hotel.

The property was very nice and conveniently located in Foggy Bottom.

The manager Houria is incredibly customer oriented and professional. She handled an extremely challenging situation better than anyone else could have. Thank you Houria!

Need a better emergency system in case of blackout. We were with no electricity from Thursday 4am and we left today still today. It was a horrible experience and we were awaked at the middle of the night twice to go to the from oo the hotel just to tell us everything was pk and we walked back to
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean, fresh and inviting. The staff is lovely!!
- 5/5
Thie Hotel was great and I will be back again.
- 4/5
Spacious room/suite with 2 x large, modern TVs. Bed very comfortable and modern technology for charging gadgets on both sides of bed. Sofa in sitting room a bit to firm and TV too high for viewing comfort. Shower pressure a bit weedy and temp control temperamental, erring on the cool side. At end of each day, sink tap water never got especially hot. Good breakfast offerings including chef to make individual omelettes etc. Other hot & cold fayre was average. Evening basic dining available with a friendly bar.
- 5/5
Great location to walk around. The hotel staffs constantly communicate to make sure your needs; spacious suite; comfy bed; feel like little your own apartment. Great breakfast with great service feel like you sitting outdoor restaurant. Hope com back again!
- 5/5
This property was very clean. I enjoyed happy hour where you get 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages between the hours of 5:30-7. the breakfastI was really good my husband enjoyed the made to order omelet. We also enjoyed the indoor hot tub, after the long day of walking around. I would definitely stay at this property again!
- 1/5
I'm sorry but I don't know why this place is rated so highly. The breakfast is poor (aside from the omelet station), and everything is stale. The rooms are old (but big!). The staff are honestly a little uncaring and cold. My TV didn't work. Last night, I had a pair beside me partying very loudly all night, walls are paper thin, and when I tried to call the front desk -- the line was engaged for over an hour and I never got through??? Just a horrible experience.

Shopping and breakfast
- 5/5
This hotel stay was excellent for my family of one adult and two teenagers. Walkable to grocery stores and downtown easily. Amazing stay!
- 4/5
Overall the stay was alright. The child cot provided was not the proper size for a 3 year old. We had to adjust with what was available.
- 5/5
Perfect stay. Check-in was fast and friendly. Had a large comfortable room with many amenities - robe, soft linens and plentiful bright white towels. Breakfast was delicious esp. the omelettes. Could not have been happier.
- 5/5
Great location and well maintaned
- 5/5
The breakfast was Amazing
- 4/5
Very confusing at first to find the Hotel within a hotel, that was a first for me. I was pressed for time and did not want to pay the high cost of parking. I have a handicapped sign so i was trying to find that but very few near the hotel. If you miss the turn then you have to go all the way around the block again. Needless to say i was 45 minutes late for a concert. But i love the Embassy suites so that made up for my dilemma. The front desk was not very informative of the amenities which i felt they could have done a better job at. Other than that i would recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Nice location , awesome hot breakfast
- 5/5
Nice Happy Hour arrangements
- 5/5
Very nice property
- 5/5
Our stay at Hilton Club The District was just perfect. We didn't know what to expect with regards to the room and we were very pleasantly surprised! It was spacious and very comfortable.
- 5/5
We loved the free breakfast and happy hour. The coffee is good! The exercise room is well-equipped and open 24 hours but I could do with a cooler temperature in the room. It gets hot during a workout! The pool and hot tub are great and open late - so helpful for those arriving from the west coast! We mostly Ubered but Georgetown is not far. A great stay!
- 5/5
Hilton Club The District consists of three floors on top of Embassy Suites, and shares the same bar, restaurant and pool. Check in is on the 8th floor, which is accessible from the ground floor only by the hotel's three elevators that are in constant demand. Rooms are spacious with large comfy beds, USB charging sockets, loads of storage, powerful showers and handy toiletries. The kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge and microwave, but while there are loads of drawers, curiously there is no cutlery, crockery, washing up liquid or dish sponge, with only glasses provided. The breakfast buffet doesn't live up to the standard expected by UK guests, not least the utterly horrific Minute Maid orange juice that is nowhere near the standard expected from a Hilton, but the omlette bar is a welcome addition, although the same utensils are used to prepare both meat and veggie omlettes. Happy Hour treats all guests to two free beers, wines or cocktails of the day, and the staff are brilliantly efficient at dealing with the demand for this service. The hotel is close to both Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom metro stations, so is a handy base for exploring DC. The hotel attracts a mixture of guests, including people who are clearly in DC on business and young families. Decent soundproofing between rooms, combined with comfy beds, should ensure a good night's sleep.
- 5/5
Great stay- very comfortable suite for our family of three.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, spacious. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again when in the area
- 5/5
Great experience. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful too.
- 4/5
Very pleasant room, but shares premises with the Embassy Suite brand. The basic quality of breakfast produce was disappointing. The bar and other facilities close too early
- 5/5
Wonderful staff and property. Very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Good and clean.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Beautiful property and everything was easy. Communication was handled thru text, which I really liked. Would definitely stay here again. Loved that there were two separate rooms, great for a family of four.
- 5/5
Very accommodating and friendly staff at all levels. Comfortable, quiet downtown accommodation. Breakfast was delicious.
- 5/5
Good hotel with good size room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Cons: The hotel was extremely crowded with lines for breakfast being unmanageable and the swimming pool is about 10x too small for how many people stay in the hotel.
- 5/5
The service in general was very good. The only missing was dont have any latin shanel on the TV. Important for the tourist dont speak spanish. Thanks.
- 5/5
The style of the hotel is beautiful
- 4/5
Overall, nice looking property. Sofa bed was not bad but it took away living space from the room. No plates or utensils available in the room. Mini fridge does not have a freezer. Convenient grocery store (small) across the street and Walgreens nearby. Breakfast had enough options.Bottled water was not replenished by default. You need to request water bottles at the front desk. Check in is on the 8th floor.
- 5/5
Love my stay at the Hilton. Staff was nice and friendly, helpful in so many ways . I would stay here again and recommend family and friends to stay here
- 4/5
Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! So many choices and the food was very good. Dislike—bathroom sink had hair in it and escutcheon spun around so I had trouble adjusting the temperature. Otherwise the room was very well appointed.
- 5/5
We had a one-bedroom suite which was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and spacious with great amenities. Price of parking onsite is ridiculous but we arrived late at night and didn’t feel safe going blocks away. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was outstanding! I will definitely stay here next time in the area.
- 5/5
Best hotel I ever went!! Everything is what I expected
- 4/5
Very good tho breakfast could have been better . Rooms were very spacious and staff very helpful where ever needed
- 5/5
However, checking in could be easier, it’s on the 8th floor, and the guy at the ground floor reception barely made eye contact with me as he condescendingly expected me to know the difference between the two receptions. Constructive suggestion; you should provide some utensils with the kitchenette, and your housekeeping could be improved, the bed wasn’t made for three days, and the floor never cleaned. Minor irritations for an otherwise amazing stay.
- 5/5
This hotel is very good. It has a pool and jacuzzi. They serve free breakfast and have happy hour 5:30 - 7:00. The rooms are very nice and they did a good job managing to put most home appliances in one room. They also give free items in your room like hair ties, soap, and makeup wipes . Overall 5 stars.
- 5/5
Our family experienced an unfavorable experience during check in. We were reserved for a suite at the District. The District is located within the Embassy hotel and checkin for the District in not on the main level when you enter the hotel. We arrived to check in after normal business hours with no signage directing customers to the District. We were warmly welcomed by an Embassy front desk representative who advised they were expecting us as we were their last check in for the evening. However we were erroneously checked in as an Embassy guest by the hotel representative (new hire/trainee) as another family/under another family's name with a shorter duration of stay than we had booked & paid in advance of our hotel arrival. Our hotel keys were also erroneously deactivated days prior to our departure date which drove an engagement with the Embassy leadership and led to our family missing the majority of an NBA game we already purchased tickets. Yet Sayed Jan (Embassy), Christa (District ) & Expedia through thoughtful oral and written collaboration with written documentation, developed corrective measures to refund me for the error as the suite we were staying in at the Embassy was cheaper than the District suite we had reserved. Jan and Christa also coordinated the refund strategy with Expedia. (Expedia was used to reserve and book several months prior to the stay.) Thank You
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast and happy hour. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setup and easy to find.
- 5/5
We had a great time at Hilton Club, the District. Concierge was awesome and quick to bring us anything we needed. There's an great little grocery market right across the street where you can buy anything you might need as well. The breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Love property
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay so close to the landmarks we were visiting. The comp breakfast buffet was wonderful and we ate 3 nights there food was great!! Staff very helpful with parking, getting Uber lifts for us! I would definitely stay again!!!
- 4/5
My husband and I loved our experience at this property. Beautiful spacious suites, great location for dining, stores, etc. The complimentary full breakfast every morning and nightly happy hours was definitely appreciated. The hotel is a beautiful well kept property with lots of spaces to lounge. If we vacation in DC again we would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
It was great for walking to places in DC
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel! Super comfy beds and spacious suites. The breakfast buffet and made to order breakfast bowls/omelettes was really good! The complimentary happy hour was also a nice touch when we weren’t out exploring. Pool area a little small but our 8 year old loved it! Would recommend and stay again!
- 5/5
I would definitely improve the food at happy hour.
- 5/5
Everyone there was super friendly and helpful! Made us feel welcomed and ensured we were comfortable and informed about all the amenities the hotel provided!
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and good facilities. Helpful polite staff.
- 5/5
Staff was most accomodating, friendly and professional. Great breakfast and Happy Hour benefits. Great coffee too! Well located for walking.
- 5/5
We have a great time !!!
- 5/5
We had a clean, well appointed room. The hotel was well managed and the staff I chatted with were helpful and polite.
- 5/5
Great for families. The person at reception was rude when I asked him to store my bags over night.
- 4/5
The Hilton is a great option when you come to DC either for business or for a family trip like we did. The location, the spacious rooms, the friendly staff, good breakfast, cleanliness, everything is well managed. And not that pricey at this period.
- 5/5
This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful!! Very clean and staff was super helpful giving us a list of places within walking distance
- 5/5
I was able to do all I came to DC to do friendly 1st class accommodations.
- 5/5
IF ONE CAN AFFORD, THIS IS REALLY WHAT FIRST CLASS IS ALL ABOUT
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Great hotel in an excellent location. Room was spacious and clean. I like the hotel’s layout and staff was friendly. Drove there so had to pay for parking but kept my car at the Ritz Carlton which was cheaper ($35/day). Loved breakfast esp that there was a nice chef who made omelets. Would definitely return.
- 4/5
Noisy air conditioner
- 4/5
However our six day stay was somewhat let down by a complete breakdown of all Wi-Fi services. It was totally unavailable for virtually the whole of our stay. In fairness the hotel did credit my account with some money as compensation, but nearly a week without the service was very difficult. And as an overseas visitor, I’m dreading what the roaming charges we’ll have to pay will be. That said, the hotel and services, Wi-Fi apart are very good.
- 5/5
Number one staff
- 5/5
We loved our stay. Staff was nice and so quick to help. Breakfast was great with made to order omelets. Kid friendly with nice indoor pool. We loved how safe the area felt and lots of dining options within walking distance even. It was also 15 minutes by car to the main attractions of DC. We highly recommend it!
