The Embassy Suites was an excellent choice for our vacation. The staff was extremely helpful, they had a wonderful breakfast included, and we loved the happy hour included at the end of the day. The rooms were very spacious and fit our family well. The location was convenient and walkable to the Metro. We would hands down recommend this hotel and if we have the opportunity we would stay here again!

Rooms were not clean. Constant wet spot on our floor during our stay and used Zyn pouches behind the couch. It made us feel that nobody wanted to take their shoes off during our stay. It also got extremely hot in the atrium area which almost made you feel that the ac was broken or not functioning at one point.

I enjoyed my stay with my daughter. Breakfast was plenty and staff was extremely welcoming, pleasant /polite, and quick to assist, very informative. I had a short stay and we utilized the pool and hot tub . I would love to visit again.

location is good dirty room price policy for the same type of room applied differently- I paid over $500 more than my colleague for the same type of room (payment made on the same day for the same room type).

We had a wonderful mother-daughter weekend at the Embassy Suites in DC—far exceeded our expectations. We were well cared for from the get go with a special thanks to Elaf and Nabil! We loved being able to soak in the hot tub after dinner. The room was super roomy and comfortable and the included breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend it!

Great location and great hotel! We had a great time. Jose at the bar provided us great service. We visited with kids and they had a great time at the pool.

This was the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at. After driving all day, we arrived at the Embassy Suites at 8pm where I was told that their parking garage was full! I was told if I could find a parking spot on the street, I could park there but had to move the car by 7am. The other option was to try the parking garage down the street, and she rattled off some address I wrote down, never mentioning it was the parking garage for the Ritz Carlton which would have been very helpful instead of driving around in the dark trying to read the street numbers on the surrounding parking garages. Also, I had called the Embassy Suites customer service number twice in the days before our trip to discuss the parking situation and was assured it would be no problem. It was a HUGE PROBLEM. The breakfast buffet was so packed, expect to what in a long line for food, for clean dishes etc. They don’t have enough help cleaning off tables, it’s a zoo. We finally would get coffee at the hotel but would walk to a bakery behind Walgreens for breakfast instead of dealing with the chaos. Same could be said for the “happy hour” in the evening and the District Tap restaurant. They had two bartenders, one waitress and one bus person. That’s it. It’s chaos.

Great hotel and location. Very helpful staff!

Awesome $25 per day per diem for each room plus free breakfast and 2 free drinks during happy hour.
- 4/5
Overall we had a great time. Just wish the lines for breakfast and happy hour were shorter.
- 3/5
Have to wait long time to get the breakfast,no one come to clean the table. the pool is too small and too many people. The smell of the water is horrible . Can not stay in that area for more than 10 minutes.

The breakfast was amazing.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had everything we needed, comfortable rooms, parking, complementary breakfast and evening receptions. Location was great and a short ride to downtown and Georgetown.

Great staff! Conveniently located to where we want to go:
- 4/5
While we really enjoyed our stay (spring break with 3 teenagers) and found check in easy and check out seamless, we had a few minor hiccups. Dinner was delicious but the dinner staff seemed unwilling to help us by taking our order and it was difficult finding seating during the dinner hours. The pool was one of the main reasons we booked, but it was entirely too small for such a large hotel and we never got to use it. Parking is very expensive - $60 a night. They do give you a $25 credit daily to help with the dinner or spend in their snack store. The breakfast buffet was another huge reason we chose this hotel and it is delicious - the line is very long but moves quickly. Seating was still an issue for the meal times. Our rooms are clean and again, most staff were very helpful. Some surrounding places to eat that we loved were Geoff’s on the corner and Casta’s just one street over.
- 4/5
I think there just needs to be more staff. Most of the problems we encountered were because of that. Every morning (and we stayed a week), there was no silverware for breakfast. Huge lines. You get a couple free drinks for happy hour, but with only 1-2 bartenders, it took 20-30 minutes to get a drink. Pool ran out of towels, took 40 minutes to get more. That stuff. Personnel we encountered, particularly as front desk, were all great.
- 5/5
Breakfast can be a little crazy but the staff does a great job trying to accommodate everyone.
- 5/5

1. The shower pressure in our bathroom was very low and the hot water often ran out. There were 4 of us staying and nobody by any means took a long shower. That being said person 3 and 4 always had a cold shower even if we would give it 5-10 minutes in between showers. 2. The breakfast was a great add; however, utensils had always run out and sometimes the workers just handed them out with their bare hands. It felt a little unhygienic and understaffed. I’d recommend adding a few more folks to keep things replenished and sanitary. 3. Lastly, this isn’t in Georgetown. For reference, it’s more in the West End area and the nearest subway was Foggy Bottom. I made a few mistakes making reservations in Georgetown thinking that was where we are at but should have made it in the West End locations. Just a heads up for future travelers. Overall it was a great family oriented location and had many conveniences including the breakfast, evening reception and restaurant onsite.
- 5/5
Love staying here. Little surprise when they charged me extra $80 and was told $60 was for parking. Wish i knew ahead of time .. pool is also really strong with chemicals and made lungs burn but otherwise we really enjoyed it. Room was so nice and home-y. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was elite
- 4/5
The free breakfast was great and many items. Never tried the made to order omelet because of the line. No orange juice the last day we were there. Only cranberry. Could do a better job on dish washing. I would probably pick a different location because of the distance to the Metro. The hotel was very clean. The bellhop was very nice getting our amazon packages. Great bed and pillows. Not alot of road noise.

Great location. Breakfast was great, staff was helpful. Highly recommend.

Spring break...maybe not beat time to judge. Breakfast overwhelmed staff--inadequate bussing, ran out of utensils, difficultly cleaning tables....food not hot--bad experience! Parking garage overpriced, oversold spaces, and difficult to use (not valet and extremely cramped.

Our room was clean, the pool served its purpose, and we spent a lot of time in the lounge area. The breakfast satisfied my family of five. The housekeeping attendants are slacking though. They would take our towels and not bring new ones, we ran out of the one roll of toilet paper we had for three days, our body wash bottle was empty, and I had to ask for a new box of Kleenex.

The pool was so disappointing. The smell of chlorine was so overpowering that we couldn’t even go in the area. It was causing people to cough and sneeze which then made the pool unclean.

My stay over the weekend was wonderful, the hotel staff was friendly and eager to help, the complimentary breakfast was good and added a touch of ease and convenience, they have on site parking, I received daily complimentary happy hour beverage. The hot tub was nice and hit the jet and bubbles was lacking a little maybe I didn’t turn the time on properly I’m not sure but I still enjoyed it. The pool water was a little cloudy so I didn’t get in but it was also a busy weekend with tons of people using the pool so I’m not surprised. All in all I had a great time. I had so much fun in DC and enjoyed the hotel I extended my trip for another day. I would definitely be staying there everytime I visit DC. And you should too!!

While the staff were amazing, helpful, cordial and courteous, and the room was absolutely stunning spacious and very comfortable, I was very disappointed that the shower water temperature was very cold and both my boyz had to take super fast showers. I had to call for assistance as i suffer from an autoimmune disease and cannot withstand cold water. I was told to turn the handle all the way to hot for at least 20 min n see if i got hot. By then it wasnt hot, it was scolding hot. To graduate it took a few tries. The next day someone was sent to the room to fix it and although now the hot water came out, it was again burning hot. Also, the pool area is was nice but it has so much chlorine that when you open the door it just hits you in the face. I couldnt enjoy it and ended up coughing too much. I worried for my boyz and only allowed them to swim n play for an hour. The breakfast was ok. The eggs were cold, their was not enough fruit or yogurt as my nephew was told it ran out. It was only 9am, how could it run out so early?...the omelets looked good but the line was too long. Overall, id go back but if the establishment improved these small details including not allowing all the strong pot smell just outside and inside the doors. Thank You.

The only (big) complaint is there was no one that answered the front desk phone. We called and texted several times as we needed assistance and could not leave the room because of kids. Was very surprised as the rest of the place is great. I would highly recommend getting 1 person to answer the phones, this would make a big difference. Thank you for having nice rooms!

The stay wasn’t smooth nor enjoyable. First off, my room had a few roaches crawling around which is totally unacceptable. The hot tub didn’t work for 3 of 4 days I was stayed which is an amenity I went there for as I booked it for my husbands birthday weekend from January 17-20. Then it was an unexplained hotel evacuation on the 19th at the peak on the evening. Please do better.

The sofabed had an unsightly stain when we opened it up to use for the evening; definitely bodily fluids or the like. After seeing, we decided to have the kiddos double up in the queen beds. Many options available at breakfast, AM breakfast staff friendly and courteous. Visited the pool early AM; all was clean and ready for guests. Daughter definitely made use of the empty pool before her AM breakfast. Again, well worn and would not stay more than one night… but served its purpose for rest and refuel for another day of museum and monument hopping,

However, The same area became the "District Bar" in the evening and had a full menu of food to purchase. The District Bar kitchen was open until 10:00 PM. When we ordered at 9:00 PM we were told that 45% of the items listed on the menu ( soups, salads, meals on the Right side of the menu) were not available. I ordered 3 things from the left side of the menu and they were also not available. We waited over 45 minutes from arrival to the restaurant until our food arrived, and watched as neighboring table used door dash to get food delivered to the restaurant. The waitstaff were consistently apologetic, and the hotel desk staff refunded us the destination tax fee for that day. The breakfast crew was far superior to the evening restaurant. We also had great service in the evening happy hour greeting by the food service.

Front end staff was wonderful. Others were rude or ignored us on more than one occasion when asking for help with basic requests (ex: asking for a plate and fork). There was a high pitched noise in our room for the first hour. Breakfast was incredibly crowded, 20+ minute lines, best food options were gone within the first hour and a half. Pool was too cloudy to see feet at depth of 3 feet. Hot tub broken. Not enough parking and it’s very expensive ($75/day). There’s a $25 destination fee per day. They give you a $25 voucher for the restaurant which is highly overpriced for the quality, or to be used on snacks and drinks at the service desk. Those options were highly limited and few were remaining. They do not allow you to use the voucher the next day. The app also said this was 1.3 miles from our destination, but it was 2.1. Minor difference in a car, but car was not part of our plan for our stay. There were better options, closer that may have offered a more desirable stay for less.

The hotel was okay overall, but it was very crowded and there didn’t seem to be enough staff. The parking was also very expensive, with limited spaces that were tight and difficult to maneuver. Breakfast was disappointing as well, since many items were already gone two hours before the end of breakfast service.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were great. There were some issues with breakfast that was fixed that morning. The only criticism is on our last night the hot tub needed maintenance. But overall a great stay for our family.

The hotel location is great and the breakfast is awesome. However, be cautious when booking via Expedia as its not very clear that there is a destination fee which is added per night and it basically means you are paying $25 extra mandatory for hotel and have to use it for ordering dinner or snacks or lose $25, which is why the rating is 3/5 instead of 5/5
- 5/5

●The air conditioner never got cool enough although it did go down 2 degrees when maintenance came to reset it ●KEYS HAD TO BE RESET 3 TIMES ●PARKING FEE: $48 (They gave me a "break"‐‐—its "normally" $75) 😞 Seriously?? ●Pools is much smaller ● 2 Hotels in the same building . Higher floors are MUCH BETTER ●DESTINATION CHARGE $25 (BS) NONE OF THE CHARGES DID HOTELS.COM made me aware. Be leary of booking with this APP. Better to call yourself or book directly with the property ☆☆☆Pros ☆Good location ☆Breakfast each morning ☆ Appears to be Safe

Delightful stay!
- 5/5
This is our favorite hotel in the DC area. We always stay at Embassy Suites for their extensive breakfasts, happy hours with snacks, and wonderful customer service.
- 4/5
This is a very nice place to stay with kids (mine included). However, that also means it can be very noisy in the hallway. There are parents who actually put their kids in the hallway to scream and cry while you're trying to sleep in. Great housekeeping for the rooms. Also great is the breakfast buffet and the other menu options. I really appreciated the vouchers for the bar and restaurant. The "evening reception" really adds a relaxing vibe to the stay, although some of the front desk staff lack some social skills (such as smiling instead of the gen z stare). Bar staff is much more friendly and approachable, very helpful with the voucher situation as well. Lastly, the common areas need more cleaning. The restaurant chairs and tables are always sticky and nasty, probably wiped the same dirty rag for everything else. You will find food and debris inside the crevices of the chairs and everything else. Bring wipes.

Great staff
- 3/5
The room was clean. 1 of 3 elevators was out of service the whole time and at 1point, 2 were out. The hotel is very large and that was inconvenient. I think the laundry facilities could be upgraded (or free) there were 3 dryers but only 1 worked and only 1 washer on our floor. The pool was small and my daughter actually got hurt by falling into the maintenance hole that wasn't bolted down properly. The restaurant was good and the service there was great. The front desk wasnt very friendly. Parking is expensive. Overall, not what was expected for the cost.
- 2/5
I came to this hotel 7 years ago and it was amazing, that is why I choose it again even when many cheaper options were available but I was so disappointed. At the check in staff was very impatient and when I asked questions she rushed me to look at a paper that would explain everything. Breakfast was never refilled so if you got there at a later time basically you got leftovers, water was never filled and when I asked for some staff told me I’ll have to pay for it. One of the elevators wasn’t working which made the wait so long. Sad to see is not what it was used to be.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Clean and quiet. Location great. Friendly staff
- 4/5
Overall it was good. More attention to bathroom cleanliness
- 5/5
Clean and spacious hotel with so much around the area. One downside, the breakfast lines were soo long and took a chunk of our time in the morning. But would still return!
- 2/5
The stay was great enjoyed the hotel, but the charges, hidden charges that the front desk doesn't tell you about or even discuss is ridiculous, they don't let you know that you are charged for parking, they require 100 security fee for each night that they don't disclose, also the front desk gave me a 25 voucher for each night for the market and i looked on my receipt and was charged the fees in the market and when i call back she tells me it's really not a voucher, this was a very nice hotel but the communication of the fees that are being charged is ridiculous.
- 5/5
Free breakfast included a made-to-order omelet station! Beds were suitable, but not luxurious. Really appreciated the complementary daily drinks and grab and go.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and lots of options, room was a suite and very comfortable and clean. Parking on site was a little pricey but close to all the monuments.
- 4/5
While check out the garage door was not answered by anyone and had to wait long before getting out. Overall very good property except small may be once off improvements.

Embassy DC Hilton was great in many areas, location, food and cleanliness. But they have thieves on staff. So make sure you secure your items in your vehicle because there isn’t a room safe!

- 2/5
property needs some upgrades. The facility looks old, dirty and rundown. Carpet all over looks terrible. Breakfast and food in general are not good when compared to previous times at this place. Room had a leakage on the closet due to poor maintenance of AC units. Elevators are always broken. Poor maintenance in general.

Happy hour! Bkfst!
- 4/5
It’s a great place for families to stay. Breakfast is awesome! Customer service is good. Great location as well. The air-conditioning did not keep the rooms cool enough. We had someone come up to fix it, but even fixed, the air isn’t cool enough. Hard to sleep in a warm room.
- 5/5
Fabulous breakfast included, plus a nice happy hour with free snacks and cocktails. Quiet room. Several places to eat within a block. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great service. Good value.
- 3/5
I enjoyed their breakfast and hot tub plus pool. That was very relaxing. When checking in I was sent upstairs to Hilton Office because they said I had a reservation with them when I had explained I did not. I had purchased two days because I was not guarantee an early check-in. They receptionist proceeded to tell me I had to go upstairs because she couldn't find the reservation. I was already in a hurry it was 11:30am and I had to be at the Pentagon at by 12:00pm. Went upstairs and was sent back down to do the same thing I already had mentioned. Took over 30 minutes for all that. Please have the receptionist be more helpful and listen to the guest before sending them away. The AC had to be fixed when I arrived due to it not working properly. It can get very humid in the dining area in the evening in June. I dined in and left with many mosquito bites, so if you go around that time and decide to eat at the restaurant in the evening wear pants!
- 4/5
Everything was excellent. I loved the breakfast, but the fan in the bathroom doesn't work. I told the front desk the second day, but no one came to fix it. This damages the ceiling and leaves a lot of humidity.
- 5/5
Very good service, concierge Grady service!
- 5/5
We loved that we could see everything that was going on and enjoy the very festive atmosphere. Happy hour was very nice. The hot tub was perfect. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpfull. I would defenitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I loved this hotel and what it had to offer. Great location!
- 5/5
It’s a young neighborhood so it was louder than I would have liked but overall it was a good stay and I would consider the location again for convenience.
- 5/5
Our family stayed here for five nights over the summer, and our visit was extremely enjoyable. There is nothing bad I can think of in regards to this hotel! The breakfast every morning was amazing. The happy hour with snacks was plentiful, and enough to keep us full and tide us over until dinner time. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the hot tub, and our room was so comfortable and the housekeeping service was great. The hotel offers a daily credit to use in their concession area, or it can be used at the restaurant. The location is wonderful and if we have a chance to come back to DC, we will definitely be staying here again!
- 3/5
Upon arrival we waited 10 min to check in to find out our room with 2 queen beds was given away. We were given a room with a king and pull out couch which had a very thin mattress. When calling for an extra blanket and pillow we were questioned as to why we needed more than the 1 pillow and blanket provided in the closet. We were given an additional 25 dollar voucher for the overall issue which didn’t feel suffice for having to sleep on a pull out couch.
- 4/5
It was a very nice overnight stay. Comfortable beds and very quiet.

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at, especially with our 3 kids. The service was amazing and friendly, super clean and pretty overall, pool had great hours-our kids loved it, the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. Rooms were so spacious with the two rooms and the beds were comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could’ve stayed for 30.

The bell man was a highlight! He is a delight every time we go there. The other staff is amazing as well
- 4/5
Everything was good except few things like parking fees is very high. The complementary drink applicable till 7 PM was allowed even at 7:05 PM after some delay at reception and parking.
- 5/5
Love the location and the cleanliness of this hotel have stayed here 3 times already this year along .will continue to stay at the embassy suites i love the rooms and all the amenities they come with...when im staying out of town for more then 2 nights.
- 2/5
Housekeeping was a major issue. We called for service on the second day, and it took over 5 hours and three follow-ups before anyone showed up. We even left the hotel, played a round of mini golf, and came back to find them just finishing up. It felt like we were a burden rather than guests. There are some positives: the location is convenient, close to several landmarks and activities. The daily breakfast was decent, and the hot tub was nice enough. But none of that makes up for the lack of basic cleanliness and service. For $300 a night, I expected much more. Disappointed and unlikely to return.
- 4/5
Because Embassy's online room rate was about 25% more than a consolicator, I booked through another site. Due to my mobility disability I generally call ahead to secure the kind of room I prefer. I called the hotel directly, but was directed through several other contacts; eventually I ws told that I could not make my request ahead of time and had to take care of it at check-in. At that time I was advised that there were no rooms with step-in shower available (we have had them before) and no double-queen rooms near the elevator. The room we were given had a king bed and a tub/shower. We don't like accessible rooms as the roll-in shower (which I don't need) generally soak the entire room due to poor design, so we dealt with the tub, but it had one hand-rail, on the back of the tub. Not helpful for anyone, I wouldn't think. Otherwise, our stay was good. We received a coupon to offset the "destination charge" which we appreciated. I must say that the pillows have been horrible for years; several years ago we met a woman who advised that, based on customer comments, Hilton was replacing the linens/bedding - we haven't seen that yet. Additionally, we always find the bathroom lights on the motion-sensor switch to be blinding if you enter the bathroom at night. Finally, I believe that the cooked-to-order breakfast is a big draw for Embassy - it certainly is for us, but it really needs some re-vamping. The overall layout needs to be totally re-considered; call a caterer (me!)

We traveled with 12 year old and we absolutely loved this hotel. We loved to have a suite with lots of space, possible to close the door between the bed room and living room, bathtub, pool and hotter downstairs was great, great breakfast, free snacks and drinks and the area is totally walkable and nice. Really recommend this place

- 5/5

Excellent service, area and amenities. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The drinks vouchers were great. Because of them along with the $25 vouchers we ate and drank at the hotel.
- 3/5
I ordered 5 rooms and they only had 4 for me. They said that Expedia send them all the rooms. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, but the voucher system is very confusing. We did not understand paying for a resort fee and then spending money in the hotel and ended up losing money in this transaction. When checking in, be sure to ask what the vouchers are for and how long they’re good.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Excellent service.
- 5/5
Great hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, and happy hour
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay here
- 5/5
Our stay was great! Perfect for a quick trip to DC!
- 4/5
I love the area where the hotel is located. My one gripe is that the hotel needs to be updated. There are no usb ports in the room. The space needs some sprucing up too. A paint job and carpet change would be nice.
- 4/5
All staff members were extremely helpful and polite. One of the TVs in our suite had been unplugged from power and cable so we had to reach behind furniture to find cords-it was very dusty behind furniture. Bed was extremely comfortable. Water pressure in shower was not great. Sound buffering between rooms could be better-we could hear noise from adjacent rooms. Breakfast was great but should make hot food accessible from both sides to improve flow of people.
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely incredible, completely made the stay a wonder. Is now the go-to when in DC
