Rooms were great but next time I will not want one close to the elevator.

Our stay was comfortable, rooms were clean. We have been double charged, i have paid via booking my friend arrived hotel earlier then me and front desk charged my friend full price. We tried to reach out when we noticed and still could not reach the hotel, they did not answer the phones. Booking.con also still silent on our help demand. We are still waiting.

Good location, 20 minutes walk and you were at the White House. Great farmers market close by on Sunday morning. Bars and restaurants close also. Staff friendly and helpful. We were on the 8th floor so there was no problem with noise. Metro 5 mins away Breakfast could have been better

I did not know they didn’t clean the room every day either so that surprised us. Staff and amenities like mints and hand sanitizer wipes were my favorite. EACH staff member was a 5 star customer service experience. Rene was helpful with suggestions. The tech guy fixed our TV. The other ladies at the front desk were always warm and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked or wished for better service! AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS THE REAL WINNER!!! Simply stunning!

Well located hotel. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Staff very good. Only downside was room size. We stayed 3 nights as part of an 17 day vacation so had large cases. No room to store clothes (other than a couple of hangers on a wall rack) and very little room to manoeuvre around cases that we had to effectively live out of.

I am retired for business for eight years. I used the enjoy Courtyards. This was a below par budget hotel with a high price. I see that Bonvoy was used. I stayed at one in London in 2019. It was a great hotel. What happened?

We arrived early and still were lucky enough to check-in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, the room was spacious and fresh. The location is also perfect to anybody who wants to live in a secure area near city center. Also, want to specifically say "thank you" to Indiae - she was wonderful to us during our stay. When the nearby room's doors were closing it was super loud in our room. It was so loud to a point that the room was shaking. Lucky enough it was not so much of an issue during the night and it was the only issue we had during our stay.

Our room was clean, and Courtyard Marriott was within a few blocks to the Metro and DuPont Circle. We really had a great visit and loved the neighborhood!

I liked the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. I was a little too far to the train station. But we made it work. We did figure out how to take the bus to zoo to save time!

The location is great and the property clean and well appointed. However, the customer service, especially from the General Manager - whom you would expect to lead by example - was atrocious.

Overall, the feel of staying in an expensive luxury hotel room was nice. The quality of the furnishings could definitely use some updates The room was not “$333/night” standard of clean. I made the bed myself two out of the three nights stay there and the back of the mattress beneath the headboard was disgustingly dusty. The bathroom countertop had water splotched all over it and the floors did, too. I was insanely disappointed with the quality of the products used, too. The bathroom magnifying mirror was broken at the base of the neck and wobbled, the curtains were frayed, and I could go on and on. There wasn’t even a closet space or couch for the rate we paid. The parking was deceitful on their website and booking.com, claiming to have available parking on-site, but failing to provide that it is $69/night for their attached garage. As the Marriott desk clerk stated, “nothing in DC is free”. All they care about is money and it’s really sad. They swiped my card for $150 before I even walked into the room. Everything about that Marriott was disappointing.

The hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and, thankfully, it was in a nice quiet area. We loved the easy walk to many yummy and unique restaurants.

We had had an issue with heater not working, but we were promptly given another room.

Our room was not ready at arrival (8pm ET). The rooms have no dresser or closet space to unpack for a long stay like ours. The shower doors would not stay closed which meant the floor would get extremely wet. Food services were time consuming as it appreared they were painfully understaffed.

Cleaning is not done every day. We stayed three nights and both the room and the change of towels was never done.

Staff very friendly. Excellent location on quiet street. Metro stop (Farrugutt) less than 10 minutes away.

Good rooms except no closets or dressers. No place to put clothes except a few hangers. Had to live out of closet. Didn’t care for motion light in bathroom. Thermostat also wasn’t great. Housekeeping every other day it’s good idea, but they should leave extra Kleenex and TP for each room. Very low water pressure in sink but the shower was good.

My whole room was the best. It was clean once you enter the room. I been to many Courtyard. But I really love my room. The bed and the shower was the best!!!!! Bed was so comfortable and it just swallow you up. I wish I had a microwave in my room. Instead of going downstairs to the lobby.

The location was great for our family. We used the Metro or walked to all the destinations we toured. The valet service was friendly and fairly priced. When we were ready to leave the car was there in minutes. The rooms were clean and the staff was overall friendly. N/A

Storage was lacking. The bathroom sink cubbies were dusty enough to see it accumulate with a finger swipe. I appreciate the safey of having to tap your card at the entrance during late hours. The 24 hour gym is very nice compared to other hotel gyms, having to forcefully push the door aside.

The lobby looks fine (no rats made it through the sliding doors when we walked in -- a true miracle given that they were right there!) and the property appears lovely but after a long day, when I got into bed I found a giant indentation in the bed -- clearly it had been slept in many, many times before because it was "loved". I travel quite a bit and in many countries but I've never encountered a bed that was quite that warped! A real accomplishment for Marriott. And lest you think that the rats were a fluke when we got in, I walked my dog at around 5:30 in the morning and the rats were still running all around and bobbing and weaving around their holes. They were fast! And vile! And this property isn't anywhere you should stay. Ever. Seriously. It looks nice but unless you are ok with rats, run like the wind. VILE.

Good place to stay while you're touring the city. Clean, safe, fresh towels, soft bed, hot water, free water bottles. There's not continental breakfast, but there are paid options. We just brought bars, shakes, and the like and then ate out during the day.

The rooms don’t look like the photos on Expedia. They are very small and bare. Generally, poor experience.

There were rats running around outside the building. They were in and out of the garbage can and the wholes they were coming in and out of. I guess their homes lol.

Though the hotel was recently renovated nicely, but the room lacked a closet and any drawer. That’s really not convenient! The staff was friendly and polite, except in the restaurant and bar.

The staff here was awful!! No coffee. Breakfast line was extremely long only to be told there was no coffee. When I asked for credit for my breakfast, staff refused. One lady was not oleasant whatsoever. No one tried to make it better!

Property was more than I expected. My room was comfortable, with a nicely sized bathroom. The only downside to my stay was that the elevator was unpredictable, so I often took the stairs. Luckily, my room was not on a high-level floor. By the end of my stay, the elevator issue was resolved. The lobby was cozy, and the reception staff were friendly.

This property would have been nice to stay but we had such a bad experience with marijuana and cigarette smell on both of our floors - 2nd floor and 9th floor. Especially, 9th floor there was a strong cigarette smell in the hall and overnight the smell came into our room. We were coughing.
