Reviews
The hotel's location is highly praised for its proximity to major attractions and public transportation. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful. However, the reviews are mixed regarding the quality of the rooms, with some guests finding them clean and comfortable, while others describe them as small, outdated, and noisy.

Staying at the Washington, DC Club Quarters was a good idea for me - I live in DC and was taking a short "staycation." The neighborhood is lively and convenient. However, I'm a big fan of the Club Quarters in downtown Philadelphia and was disappointed to discover that the CQ in DC does not have a true lobby. Check in takes place at a desk on the first floor of an office building. There is a 2nd floor lounge that could be considered a lobby, but is not very inviting. I'd say this is a good hotel to stay in for those who are just in DC for business and are not that interested in a true hotel experience.

Everything was great! Would recommend.

It was great all the way around. My boss was very happy with his stay.
- 4/5
Well to start it did not have a small fridge in the room and I had to go to the basement to get ice. Bathrooms are small could not open both lids, haft the toilet is under a 6inch counter. Water is hot but not hot enough for me as nd water pressure not good . Lots of little stuff just not great. BUT hey, it’s not a bad place at all . If it’s your first time in DC? it’s a great location, staff was great,. It’s clean, safe , and fair price for DC. I’d say 3 stars
- 4/5
Front lobby smelled so clean & welcoming. Your room key activates the elevators. Check in & check out took a matter of seconds on the kiosk. Our window view was blocked by an office building where the workers could see in our room but there was a privacy shade which worked great. Good place, good price, easy to find a good coffee. They had water bottles for guests with a water dispenser in the hallway which was pretty cool!

Toooo noisy. Toooo small and uncomfortable. Coffee pot did not work. The female manager who was working the desk, because of staffing, was the only good thing. Female staff who registered us was rude and abrupt. NOISE, NOISE and NOISE. Price was absurd.

The staff at the reception specifically one who checked me in at 3 PM after 3 visits and specifically requesting online for an early check in request was un courteous and rude.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Close to downtown. Very noisy during the day and night. No microwave or even some spoons for stirring coffee. Hotel room is the size of a closet

- 3/5
The price did not match the quality of the accommodation. I was required to pay an additional $100 security deposit, even though this information had not been listed in the pricing section at the time of booking. I paid for breakfast ($15 per day), but the hotel did not actually provide it; instead, they issued gift cards for use at nearby cafes, where I had to pay extra on top of the card's value. My room window faced a blank wall. All in all, it was the worst hotel experience of my life.
- 3/5
The noise level is outrageous. 2 nights in a high floor and I could hear everything outside the window down below. I have never stayed in a hotel that wasn’t sound proof when it comes to the windows. As a light sleeper I do not recommend. But if you can sleep through anything . It’s decent and right next to the metro train for easy access to everything.

The only thing I missed was having a small refrigerator in the room.

We loved the location and the free amenities closet and the water dispenser with bottles. They were located on all floors. There was no lobby, but on one of the floors there was access to a nice gathering area with a decent coffee machine ( coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc.) and a separate area for larger meetings. We had our dog with us and walking him was easy as there is a small park across the street. Bus stop and metro right in front of the hotel. It was more of a no frills place than it appeared on the booking site. There is no restaurant, and parking on the street - as suggested on the booking site - was unrealistic during our stay. The parking lot suggestions from the staff were extremely vague and not helpful at all.

It was very noise around the hotel all night long. I was on the fifth floor and I could hear the noise all night. The hotel do not have a restaurant on site. Some of the front desk employees was not helpful and some did help.

- 5/5
The location is everything. The Metro station is located underneath/on the corner of the hotel so we road the train all the way from the DCA airport to the Farragut West station. Then it’s walking distance from monuments, museums, amazing architecture and a delicious variety of foods (though we preferred to rent a Veo bike to get around the city). The only downside (may have just been my room) was when you turned the shower on, the whole bathroom got wet and the floor, and even the carpet past the threshold. Don’t see where this could be okay structurally for the future BUT that’s it. No other complaints.
- 4/5
Everything was great. Staff was very welcoming. The bed was lumpy and my back didn't like it. Everything else was good.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, and convenient location around many tourist attractions. The hallways of the hotel were uncomfortably warm.
- 5/5
We booked the suite with a kitchenette and it was perfect with a stove, microwave/oven, and mini fridge. Perfect size for our family of 3. Parking is not great. Best to drop luggage off at the lobby, then park and walk the 2 blocks back. They're very accommodating if you want to leave luggage early before check in so you can explore the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I love the Nespresso machine in the room and the coffee/ latte/ cappuccino maker on the 2nd floor. Although there is no breakfast or food available on site, we received gift cards to the wonderful bakery restaurant across the street. The food was delicious. Over all, I loved our stay here and would happily book again.

The location is perfect easy to commute, the metro is literally next door. The room was perfect for 2 people, however there was a cold draft coming from the window, I'm not really sure if it was from the window or from some air conditioning duct above the window, which made the room very cold and unbearable to sleep. there was a cold draft coming from the window, I'm not really sure if it was from the window or from some air conditioning duct above the window, which made the room very cold and unbearable to sleep. Also I paid for the stay for 2 nights including breakfast, but to my surprise I had been informed that the hotel dind't have any restaurant and I should use a specific restaurant across the road . They gave us a card to use in this specific restaurant which will give me 10% discount. When I asked the employee about what I had paid when I booked the hotel included breakfast he said that he could do nothing because that was up to the manager who was not there at the moment. In short, I paid £30 each (for 2 people) and we had to pay more at the restaurant I felt deceived from the hotel and I really want to get my refund.

The room's design was great. View was beautiful. Liked the location of the hotel. Staff was nice. It was not to close the curtains in the room (so the room was quit light during the night). The walls were thin and it was load in the room. The breakfast system was strange. It was shown (when I booked), that the breakfast was included. In the end, they gave me a voucher, what can be used in the caffe, near the hotel. The vouchers amount did not cover the typical breakfast, including the tax.

The hotel doesn't provide breakfast. It collaborates with a cafe across the street. They mislead the customers to believe the breakfast is all included but actually the breakfast card only has 15 dollars in it and there isn't much to order in that cafe with 15 dollars, so you end up paying a lot for breakfast. I've asked about the breakfast for several times but the staff in the hotel and the cafe deliberately hides the fact that there is only 15 dollars in the card because both of them want you to think it's a buffet and want you to spend more. The place was clean and somewhat convenient to the outlet that we were going. This place was super small and lacked any kind of character. The bottled water that they had tasted like it came right out of the sink. It really wasn't that close to a good selection of food places and I probably would never stay there again.
- 3.5/5
Great location, friendly and helpful staff The room is too small. Less than 12 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall. Which would be manageable to walk around to get to the other side of the bed and window, except there’s a shelf with the tv on it right there. So we had to lean over the bed and shuffle past the tv. Meaning you cannot stand upright and walk past the end of the bed at the same time. Major design flaw

My room smelt damp. The shower is strong but no proper doors so that meant lots of water on the floor which leaks to the main carpeted room which explains the damp

Very attentive staff. Erick upgraded our room to ensure that we had space for our pet. When there were issues with the parking vendor he extended our hours at the hotel until the vendor could resolve. Parking vendor colonial parking was a very bad experience. Had to wait many hours to retrieve our car in order for us to travel

The check in/out processes are self-done (quick and convenient)! I like that there is a water station at every floor. They offers a $15 dollar breakfast voucher at the coffee shop cross the street (at max you can get a grab and go- coffee and croissant). There is a beautiful lounge room with coffee machine, water and tea. na

Nice enough place, very close to Farragut North metro station (1 block). Very disappointed that we could not extend one extra night through Expedia after we checked in. The hotel's reservation center wanted to charge us almost double the rate we paid for the first few nights. We ended up reserving a nicer hotel (thru Exp) about 6 blocks away for only 10-15% more, for one night.

The hotel is in a great location, right near bus stops, metros, and other restaurants. Rooms are pretty small. Ours was feet from some office windows so not a ton of privacy and no view. Bathroom was very small, the shower rack fell off while we were there (was held on with glue before it fell), and the ceiling tiles were a little moldy. Just had a shower stall like you'd find in a dorm. The tv didn't work (streaming and channels).

Location is great. All the front desk staff (except one) were very professional and super nice . Room smelled like mildew so badly we had to change rooms. AC made a loud clunking noise whenever it turned on or off. Overpriced for outdated room decor . Hallways are like a rabbit warren. Lounge on 2nd floor is depressing, needs updating.

Stayed in a standard room without kitchen. The room was clean but dated. Slow shower drain not unusual in an older building. Unfortunately the AC unit could not keep up with the evening spring heat. This place is an excellent, non-nonsense value. I only have one pet peeve. They have everything you need nad nothing you don't. The beds are comfortable, the linens and towels are great, the front street view I was upgraded to Ofers view of the presidential and other motorcades (okay, you might hear sirens, but good ambient noise,)there is a great community room with coffee and tea, and good staff to help with all issues nad questions. Many coffee houses nearby, restaurants (although not a weekend hangout place--need to go a few blocks south, west or east for that but can walk to Dupont, Pennsylvania Ave, etc. Right atop the Metro. Very handy and dandy, and a great value. Bottles of water for filling on every floor! Pet peeve is that the rooms near the water filling stations can be noisy. Quiet outside room --if near elevator/toiletries closet/water station it can be a bit noisy.
- 4/5
This was a really well priced place to stay. Central, used nearby parking garage. Room was clean. Can’t give it 4 or 5 stars, but the AC was quiet. Beds were not super comfortable, noise from outside room was loud. Only stayed one night, but for the price it was fine. I loved the ceramic cups and saucers and actual glasses. It was much nicer that plastic or styrofoam cups. That was a small but nice aspect. Really clean and safe area.

Hotel needs to be refurbished completely. Photos in website are very good in comparison with what you find when you arrive. The windows are so old, they have holes in the frame, making the room noisy. There isn't photos of the bathrooms and there's a reason for it: Small and extremely old. The lobby is a dark cavern, like someone already described, no even the name of the hotel appears anywhere . You pay for the location which is good. It's clean and the water fountain providing bottles to refill is a great idea. But, nothing else I am afraid

Wonderful affordable place to stay with simple accommodations. As with many CQ, the rooms are small but that goes with the prices. A bonus at this one is the water pressure. While the neighborhood is pretty quiet, the windows are not sound reducing so you can hear what noice is on the street.

We had a kitchen that had no dishes, silverware, etc. when we arrived. The next morning we requested these things and they were outside our door when we returned in the evening. A wonderful location, a clean facility, excellent hospitality, and helpful, friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C. Nothing at all; in fact, everything exceeded expectations. Although my stay was brief—just four days—I enjoyed it immensely, and the primary reason for that was my stay at the Club Quarters Hotel.
- 3/5
Location Cramped size
- 3.5/5
Very close to my event. Rate was decent for the location. Space was fine for what I needed - a place to sleep. Parking information from the phone tree was inaccurate and I ended up parking blocks away and walking, which wasn't ideal. The curbless shower was a big mess, I don't even think it's possible not to get the bathroom floor soaked. A fridge would have been nice.
- 5/5
How close it was to everything
- 3/5
The room was too small for two people! A cruise ship standard room was bigger and the bathroom was almost as small as a cruise ship bathroom. The AC works fine. The view from the 10th floor was 3 brick walls. There was no place for the suitcase, not enough room for meds and toiletries. The floor was our space for the above items. I read many reviews about how hotels take advantage of guests who book through Hotels.com by giving them the smallest, outdared room with no view on an inconvenient floor, like the 10th floor. I will probably never book through Hotels.com again.

A very convenient, comfortable, and cozy place to stay, with two different Metro Stations within a 3 minute walk. Fantastic staff and great amenities as well!
- 3/5
Seemed to be clean and outside noise was pretty much quiet. However, the walls must be thin because you can definitely hear next door neighbors. Plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance. Nothing really special about this hotel. Very plain. No real lobby just a front door, reception desk that directs you to use the kiosk for check in and scan your own room keys and elevators... that's it. The rooms and building are old and it shows. You have to park off site and the parking is around the block. $40/night. Probably will avoid Club Quarters Hotels in the future. Over priced room rates for what you get, but I understand location, location, location.
- 1.5/5
Location from where my event I was attending was good. Check in was easy and I did receive early check in. Room was clean The room over all was dark and extremely small. I felt like I was in a cave. One small window that looked out into dark bricks. You can also easily see into other rooms. No microwaves or fridge. When I asked for a microwave (several times) I was told- they did not have any available. This hotel is not accommodating for visits more then a day. This is more like a one day stay or last minute stay

And I had a lovely view over Farragut square park.

The location was very central with a beautiful park across the street. The coffee room and free water was nice. The hotel was very quick and bed was comfortable. Check in and checkout was quick. Couldn't use the stairs because they were rats everywhere. The cable tv stopped working for a whole day. The rooms have carpet and gave me bad dust/dander allergies. I guess they dont clean those carpets well enough or change the air filters. Its a pet friendly hotel and one of the staff gave me a hard time and was extremely rude because I wanted to go out to eat and couldn't leave my service animal alone for a moment in the room. I always leave him when i stay in hotel because i dont like to bring him to food places. My dog did not bark or disturb anyone. The staff was just assuming and that ruined my experience in the hotel. Will never book there again or recommend. Staff needs to be more reasonable and learn how to talk to guests.

Our stay was truly exceptional, thanks to the care and courtesy shown by Ms. Walker. She took the time to clearly explain the process and provided helpful directions, making everything seamless. Her warm demeanor and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. Parking. If the hotel has it's own parking that would have been great.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Great lodging, not too many amenities on property. Close to the White House.
- 4/5
The room that i was in was not set up for cooking
- 5/5
Excelente ubicacion, restaurantes alrededor muy agradable y el personal del hotel muy amable
- 4/5
Very much appreciated daily cleaning and convenient location for transport and sightseeing
- 5/5
Nice room, great amenities very accommodating and welcoming front desk staff
- 5/5
Has everything we needed while keeping it simple. Easy check in and check out at kiosk.
- 5/5
Staff was so friendly & helpful!
- 5/5
Wonderful front desk
- 5/5
Clean area and very informative staff
- 4/5
It’s not far from Metro stops. Parking near the hotel is a bit of a challenge (out front are posted “No parking, etc.”) It’s a convenient location to WH & Smithsonian. No fridge in the room was kind of lame. The Nespresso machine was nice. Everything is very clean. And they hold bags for you for the day- nice perk .
- 5/5
Clean room. Good location
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
I loved to be in this hotel, perfect location, friendly staff, everything clean, definitely I have to come back.
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were so welcoming. They went above and beyond to help us and were very understanding of our needs. We truly felt taken care of!
- 3/5
Certainly over rated on app. This is a tired-looking hotel from check-in area to rooms. Got a little catfished by the website pics, they certainly don’t show anything close to what we received. I would go elsewhere in the future.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly, helpful staff. Had a pleasant stay
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't ask for a better location for the price and I will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Property was nice and as expected. Great location for very good price compared to other options in the area.
- 4/5
There is no microwave in the room. The nespresso machine was nice but too small for our liking. We did enjoy the water dispenser with water bottles on the floor. The rooms window was horrible. You might as well just leave the window open cause that’s how it sounded.
- 5/5
Great staff, wonderful location.
- 5/5
The room was nice as usual
- 2/5
the males at the front desk were rude while the female was incredibly helpful. Training how to be nice to guests would help. the layout of the bathroom was awkward and the water pressure for the shower was horrible
- 5/5
Great housekeeping, great front desk people (so helpful) and great view of the square.
- 5/5
Great place to stay as a solo traveler. Right in the middle of everything. Room and amenities were great
- 5/5
The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. I loved that free water bottles and coffee were available at all times. Convenient location.
- 5/5
Clean room. A few blocks from the White House. Right next door to metro station.
- 4/5
AC was a little loud
- 5/5
My flight getting in to DC was cancelled so I was a day late for Check in, although my family was able to check in on time. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure I was well taken care of on my arrival, equipping me with my room key, internet access and showing me all the fantastic amenities. I particularly loved the eco conscious ethos at Club Quarters, water stations were equipped with refillable water bottles instead of disposable paper or plastic cups and bathroom amenities like conditioner, shampoo lotion etc were also eco friendly and refillable. Stand out Staff member, Missy was exceptional. She went above and beyond to insure our stay was perfect in every way, she made great recommendations on places to eat, sights to visit and her personality was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was even able to leave my luggage at Club Quarters after check out, as my flight out of DC was later on the evening. 5 stars all around and when next I’m in DC I will most definitely stay at Club Quarters.
- 3/5
Rooms were fine, bathroom fairly dated. Staff really friendly and helpful. The breakfast option is just a $15 voucher for Le Pain Quotidien over the road, which will just about get you a croissant and a coffee, so don't pay more than that to add breakfast to your room. Bed comfy, room and shower were warm, aircon worked. Parking is just in local garages, which is a faff. The rooms were quite loud with noise from other guests and the road outside.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 3/5
However, my stay was disrupted by loud noise during the night, which sounded like large air-conditioning units from a neighbouring building. Additionally, my room faced directly into an office building, making the view feel quite exposed and a bit uncomfortable at times.
- 5/5
N/a breakfasr
- 4/5
wonderful stay. upgraded ti a suite free of charge
- 1/5
I would like to call out the terrible front desk service specifically Melissa. Very unpleasant person and incredibly unprofessional.
- 5/5
Would happily stay here again. The staff were all extremely helpful
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Location great; next to metro; very walkable. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was incredible and so pleasant. Rooms smaller than expected but fine for our one night stay. Location is perfect for walking to see the sights. Room was very clean.
- 5/5
Thank you!

Another than that, pretty good. Just don’t expect to enjoy a good movie.

No kitchen but very nice place with a good environment and friendly stuff
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
No breakfast at site but a place to go across the street for a discount that was good.
- 5/5
Thanks for giving us a memorable stay and we will stay here again when in DC.
- 3/5
Clean but outdated.
- 5/5
Reception staff were so helpful, and I appreciate the warm welcome to DC from Missy. Free flow of drinking water is an excellent resource for guests. CQ is a great location and I could walk to downtown meetings and sights. Thank you.
- 5/5
Room was clean Staff was quick to clean the room each day
- 1/5
Property is located next to a very busy road with heavy traffic rumbling all night long with a room door that didn’t shut well and left a gap to the outside, regardless of how I shut it. That, in addition to loud guests, made my stay unpleasant, to the point of cutting my stay short and checking out the morning after.
- 5/5
Love the coffee and water bottles with fill station
- 5/5
The rooms were small but well-maintained and perfect for one person. The location was excellent in a nice part of downtown DC. The Nespresso machine and liquid creamer was a real treat!
- 5/5
We stayed overnight the location worked well
- 5/5
I had a good experience with this hotel, the staffs are very friendly. They helped me check in earlier than my intended time. The hotel is located right in the middle of all the nice building, as a solo traveler I felt safe
- 4/5
Brilliant location
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Really only used the hotel for seeping at night but found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly

Love the place.

All good thanks
- 5/5
Everything was clean, all the staff were excellent and there were more than enough amenities based on what was advertised. The bathrooms aren’t super spacious but they still had everything you would need.
- 5/5
The room was clean and cozy. Pull-out bed was very comfortable. The hotel boasts a prime location, just steps from the White House.
- 4/5
Terrific location
- 4/5
The room was good for the money and the location was excellent. Overall good place to stay in DC on a budget.

It was okay! Pretty average

It was okay. Staff was okay kind of rude but other than that peaceful stay!

- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
Nothing fancy but this hotel really has everything that anyone really needs in a hotel. Clean rooms and baths, nice people, a fitness center, a functioning ice maker, and elevators. And every floor has a water station with plastic bottles to fill free-of-charge. I disagree with people saying the hotel doesn't have a lobby, there is a whole living room / conference room / lobby with unlimited complimentary cappuccino on the 2nd floor!!! How cool is that? By the way, Melan at the reception was super helpful!!! This will be our go-to hotel when in DC from now on.
- 5/5
Spotless, incredible staff, super accommodating. Love this place!
- 1/5
Terrible experience. The hotel is dirty and unsanitary
- 5/5
The staff was so kind and all so neat. Everything was within walking distance. Best stay in DC!
- 5/5
Front Desk Staff CINDY & MILAM (sp) Were professional and proactive. ...They made my stay EXCEPTIONAL <
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean, comfortable stay
- 5/5
The stay was great! Staff great and clean environment. My only complaint would be the parking situation. They don’t have parking but have a parking garage behind the building for a discounted rate. Be aware that they will tell you it’s free then make u pay a large amount without a discount! Be aware of colonial parking garage !!! They’re scammers! And terrible customer service.
- 5/5
Reception staff are very helpful and the room was clean
- 5/5
Very clean. My only disappointment was no parking. They gave me directions but no card to show me were they are affiliated with. I ended up parking somewhere paying $89.00 😞😞😞😞 Taxis service was very very difficult but expected due to the peace walk Riot protestors
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!
- 5/5
Very quick overnight stay for business. They were able to let me check in at 10:00 am right after an early flight, with a slight upgrade. Room was small and basic. But a good location for downtown D.C. on a quick stay.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and convenient
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff
- 5/5
Room was always clean every day, enjoy the conversations with the staff at the reception desk, always enjoy relaxing in the lounge after a day out
- 5/5
Clean room, wonderful amenities. Loved the lounge with latte, coffee, hot water for tea,… set up! Always immaculate. Room cleaned everyday to perfection. Everything so clean! Elevator status very secure! Perfect location close to White House and right next door to Metro! Front desk staff awesome, hats off to Kim and Erick! We will stay there again! Thank u for your service!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room and location.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable, very convenient and always the nicest staff
- 1/5
I was really angry but thought I’d bring it up the following morning. The young girl who checked us in didn’t really care, it was only after I became heightened that she offered to give us a Queen size room. I told her we had our gear everywhere and to pack it all up for 1 night was not worth it, she shrugged her shoulders and basically moved me on. I would never return to this place and I’d never recommend it. This place is pathetic, they need to have pride in their work and the hotel.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean room. Easy check-in & check/out. Free bottled water, coffee in rooms, and coffee & tea in common area. Held luggage before check-in and after check-out free of charge. Great location. Really, no complaints other than the street noise was a bit loud at night, but that’s hard to avoid in a city.
- 4/5
The auto check in and check out was very annoying... especially as there was always someone at the desk and rarely anyone else in the lobby. And, although it was easy enough, I had a staff member standing next to me while using the auto check in...so what was the point? I also received an online key to use on the room door lock, but it didn't seem to work on the elevator so I needed a key card anyway...so what is the point of having a key on the phone? Too much wonky and unnecessary automation.
- 5/5
CQ is clean and so convenient to the metro. We enjoyed our second stay there.
- 5/5
Room was always clean when I came back. Walls are thin
- 3/5
Terrible window proofing where sounds from the road was disturbing throughout the night. Room was on 2nd floor.
- 5/5
It's always just what i need and right in the heart of downtown DC. I would recommend checking on parking first because lots of times especially on Saturdays after a certain time you can find a spot on the street and park ofr free.
- 5/5
Literally 1 block away from the White House! Not many amenities, Great stay for a short business trip, weekend get away, etc. Seamless check in/check out. Amazing Staff!
- 1/5
Was assigned the wrong room. immediately notified staff who did NOTHING about it. Thin walls, you can hear EVERYONE. Later found room to be uncleaned with condom wrappers by the bed. Stay away.
- 5/5
Convenient and quiet; But the amenity needs to be updated
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Super convenient location. Rooms very comfortable. This was my second stay here and will definitely be back.
- 5/5
We had a late check-in and front desk very helpfull. I requested two rooms side by side thru Expedia and was not clear to hotel. She was able to accommodate the request. The staff was kind, clean rooms and very informative on guiding us to dining and city landmarks. Will stay again. Great experience.
- 4/5
The rooms are small and the hotel doesn’t have parking. The rooms were clean, but a little outdated.
- 5/5
Room was great. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Staff was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage on our last day.
- 5/5
Pretty nice and quiet place, staff really helpful
- 5/5
The location is also great. Literally next to a metro station and 5 min walk from the White House. You cannot beat the proximity to all the spots. I’m always a big fan of the complimentary coffee and water as well.
- 5/5
Room was great!! 5 minute walk from the White House and seconds from the towns train! Very convenient.
- 5/5
The staff there is amazing, the location is incredible and the club room on the 2nd floor is epic. Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Extremely nice
- 5/5
This location is super convenient. Literally 40’ from the Farragut West station which gives you direct connection from DCA on the blue line. It’s also just a short walk across the square to Farragut North which gets you the red line. No integral restaurant but lots of choices nearby. On a more somber note, this was the DC location where the two National Guard members were shot so there’s an impromptu memorial just outside the Farragut North metro entrance.
- 4/5
It was okay but some of the front desk staff were rude

It was a great place stay!

The hotel was very clean and was in a great location. Walking distance to mostly everything, as well as right next to the metro station.
- 5/5
Safe and secure. Walking distance to everything.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, courteous staff, great location
- 4/5
Good location. Free water /hot drinks.
- 4/5
It's good though There was some machine noise in the early morning
- 5/5
We had a wedding and it was close to venue.. very convenient!
- 5/5
I think CQ is a perfect place for a DC stay near the White House on a business trip.
- 5/5
Had so many things to offer
- 5/5
Great parking
- 5/5
Room has perfect amenities for me - fridge, Nepresso coffee maker, microwave. Love the free water and excellent coffee machine in the lounge . Housekeeping was especially helpful this time, friendly and do a great job. Location is near transit, restaurants, museums , etc.
- 4/5
The windows were drafty and the heat was loud, but the room was fine for one night and the centralized location could not be beat.
- 5/5
Great location & nice room
- 5/5
It was such a nice place to stay! The staff was so sweet and location was great
- 5/5
Muy buena experience in the hotel
- 4/5
Having said all that, it is a really good hotel ! It is very clean, very efficient, and the room does have everything that a corporate traveler could ask for. I will defjnitely stay there again!
- 4/5
Great location. Comfortable bed
- 4/5
Electronically sign yourself in at kiosk.
- 4/5
Parking is $40
- 5/5
Always my home.
- 5/5
The Room was very clean and the staff were great!
- 2/5
sheets were dirty and bathroom had smears of gross brown
- 3/5
Small and bath and shower very old and very small
- 2/5
bathroom very dated
- 4/5
Not the fault of the hotel at all but the neighborhood was surprisingly noisy with construction.
- 5/5
Very clean, great location.
- 5/5
Clean room at a great location near the White House and also steps to trains. Free bottled water on all floors and coffee in the club room on floor 2 are a nice perk especially considering the reasonable cost.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
One of the most affordable busines hotels in
- 3/5
It was ok
- 5/5
All was well
- 5/5
Overall great stay close to the white House
- 3/5
Getting my requests taken care of was challenging. Online, I had changed my room to twin beds. Then, upon receiving a text for check in, I had a chat with someone and requested to change the room back to either a queen or king. The person I was chatting with said they would add the request to my account, but it wasn’t there. I had to go back to the check in - who, by the way, were the least friendly staff I have ever encountered - and they offered a room that “fit the needs” but worth the money? Absolutely not. It was an accessible room, extremely small all around, etc. I had also requested a late checkout (on the chat) which I was told would be an extra fee. Okay, fine. Upon discussing it with the workers (in person) was basically denied until I mentioned I had already discussed this on the chat AND that upon checking in I was told my room may or may not be ready at check in time. And that was from a worker who couldn’t be bothered to be friendly, not even for a second. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very disappointed.

Superb hotel, couldn't fault it. Lovely stay right next to a Metro station and a couple of blocks from the White House
- 5/5
Staff are friendly and helpful
- 1/5
The room was very old and poorly maintained, and there was no staff available to assist with anything. It felt more like a self-service setup from check-in to checkout. The room was small, facing a busy avenue, and extremely noisy—I couldn’t sleep at all because of the traffic. It was also not clean, and I could constantly hear noise from the hallway. Overall, a very disappointing stay. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
- 5/5
Staff are welcoming and very helpful.
- 4/5
Location is great. So close to the White House & plenty of other key landmarks. Rooms are quite small & looking a touch dated. But beds were comfy, air con works & decent shower.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Couldn’t ask for a nicer and friendlier staff
- 3/5
The hotel lobby had no sitting area. The room was small even though the manager said we got an upgrade. The view for the price was a back alley with dirty windows. Luckily it was only two nights
- 5/5
Room has basic amenities that we need, like a fridge and coffee maker. Room is quiet and we appreciate the availability of water and coffee in the hotel. Milan who checked us in was delightful and very helpful.
- 4/5
First to note, that you have to park a block away and there is no way to pull in to drop off your luggage so you will be hauling it quite a distance. Room was nice but the bathroom has a frosted door so if someone gets up in the night, the light will blast the other person awake. Bad design. The area is nice though with great proximity to the White House and the Hill!
- 5/5
Convenient and functional good value
- 4/5
Excelent experience
- 5/5
Great downtown place
- 5/5
Would high recommend staying here to family & friends who want to stay in downtown DC.
- 4/5
Everything is clean and tidy, staff was lovely, and I think that for the cost, this is 100% worth it. The beds were hard (and I like firm... so think extra firm), and the pillows were down and soft but so soft they kinda collapsed... I was using 3 haha! Also the AC unit is loud. My other issue was they don't have in room coffee - they have in room espresso. which Nespresso is "fancy" but I just wanted a cup of coffee and that was hard to come by. They do have a generic latte/cappuccino machine on the 2nd floor. Overall, I would stay here again.
- 5/5
It was a very quiet room with blackout shades. These were helpful when metro police prepared for foreign dignitaries at the White House a couple blocks away. A metro stop station is below the building and very easy to get to the Capitol, Smithsonian Air & Space, Library of Congress, etc. Lots of good food choices are nearby
- 5/5
Great stay! Would definitely stay again
- 4/5
Shower needs a face lift
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location to the White House and the subway was just below the hotel, buses were close by as well. Great place, room was spacious and clean. Not too much noise at night time. No laundry facilities unless you want to send out but I found a way to get to a laundromat on the bus that was so easy.
- 4/5
I arrived early and couldn’t check-in. So I left my luggage and returned after dinner. The check-in is in a kiosk, the attendant is nice, they offer water bottle, there is coffee machine in the room.
- 5/5
Rooms were quiet and secure.
- 5/5
Great place for just about anything you are doing...
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, bathroom has great shower head. Right next door to metro rail entrance and bus service across the street. Liked having the reusable bottles and fresh water dispenser on each floor. Each room has a Nespresso machine. There is an espresso machine on 2nd floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Rooms are small and bathroom does not have very much counter space. No garbage cans in hallways like other hotels have. No breakfast at this hotel but there are two bakeries with good breakfast food that are just a 1 or 2 minute walk from hotel.
- 4/5
Nice ,safe good.to stay
- 5/5
We chose Club Quarters due to location and proximity to public tansporation (Farragut North Red Line 1 block north) and (Farragut West Blue/Silver/Orange Lines next door to hotel entrance) as well as proximity to the White House, parks, restaurants, etc. Loved the refillable water bottle stations and supply closet on each floor and the lounge with coffee station, couches and large table. We were able to check our luggage at the front desk and do some sight seeing. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a convenient location. However, definitely needs renovations.
- 2/5
Rooms are small, gym is dark and small and they were doing construction during my stay.

Best place to stay in dc
- 5/5
Great location by the metro station
- 3/5
It’s not what I remember when I was there before. The furniture in the room and lobby is outdated and it would be great if the owners invested in an upgrade. Also they need a restaurant in the building. If not a restaurant a gourmet mini food store.
- 5/5
The hotel was in the perfect spot in walking distance to the White House and all other monuments. The beds were so comfortable and the staff really nice and helpful.
- 4/5
Wonderful location, close to the White House and other tourists attractions. Nice staff. Everything is good
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet place.

While the hotel is a tad on the shabby side, the location is excellent and it remains good value for the cost.

GREAT!!
- 5/5
Convenient to White House and Philippine Embassy
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
I initially booked Club Quarters for one night, but decided to extend my stay 2 more nights. Why? It was close to my office, reasonable, near some good coffee shops, and easier than commuting from my friend's place in Tenley Town. I'll definitely keep Club Quarters in mind for future trips to DC.
- 5/5
Great location! The room itself was pretty clean,
- 1/5
The photos used on Expedia were a complete misrepresentation of the actual room. The room was very small, the beds were about the size of a cot, there was nowhere to put clothes or personal items. The bathroom was not big enough for two people to stand in nor was there counter space. The pictures showed the room to be big, very bright, new looking furniture and looking out onto a park but instead looked out at a wall. The air conditioning also didn’t work which during the first weeks of August could lead to a very uncomfortable situation.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was clean and nice just lavking a few amenities that most offer like mini fridge and microwave. Theres also no parking and most garages nearby have a cutoff tine you must be in by. I think the parking is a dc thing and I'm from central va. Other than that the stay was good. I
- 4/5
Decent hotel that is very conveniently located if you're flying into DCA and looking for a place to stay downtown (the entrance to the blue line Metro, which runs directly to DCA, is literally right next to the hotel). The hotel itself is fairly spartan with no real lobby to speak of and relatively few amenities. But the rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Perfect for short-term business trips or tourist visits if your primary aim is to be out and about most of the day seeing the sights. Definitely not the sort of place where you can invite friends or colleagues to meet for you for a drink at the bar, however, because, well, there is no bar, or much of anything else for that matter, besides guest rooms.
- 5/5
Front office stuff are excellent.
- 5/5
Straightforward no grills hotel with no bar or restaurant.

Location is good. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. Rooms to the street can be noisy. But inside-rooms have no natural light at all.

The property is fine but the parking is completely inadequate.
- 5/5
Yes, it is a "boutique" sized hotel with rooms to match, but the basics suit me fine. Lots of eating options in the area and being on a major Metro Line is a real boon.
- 4/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
Dog friendly and plenty of dining options in walking distance! Also very quiet, I would come back
- 5/5
Such a great stay at an affordable rate will be returning.
- 5/5
Except for small lobby, this CQ property was typical of other locations like Chicago and Houston. Friendly and helpful staff, familiar layout and amenities. I would definitely recommend for short stay.

We stayed only one night while taking in some tours the following day. Great customer service and I had pre-checked in on my phone before arrival. We did arrive earlier than planned and had planned on having them hold our bags, but our room was ready well ahead of time, which was great. The dropping off luggage and picking up there is really no designated spot as it’s the active street you’re stopping on. My husband stayed with the car while I went to check in as reservation was under my name. Bathroom was good size, but the showers are very small. Room is on the small side, but for only 1 night it was fine. Late night it becomes very noisy for a couple of hours and then quiets down. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room either. We travel with a small collapsible ice chest so we had that with us already filled so we were fine as far as cold drinks go. There are a few food locations in walking distance. We did park at the parking garage around the corner and it was maybe a two minute walk. We had no issues parking at the Connecticut Street parking garage.

Second floor of the hotel was super noisy, could hear doors slamming, traffic, people shouting and water running in other rooms.

The location is perfect, relatively close to all the attractions, however its impossible to get a good sleep my room pick up all the road noise right through out the night and the tv doesn't work; freezes constantly maybe due to internet connections

I have stayed here so many times. It is clean and convenient for meetings. I like to run the Mall in the morning and past the White House so the location is good. The blue orange and red lines are on Farrugut Square a couple of minutes away. However, not a lot of life nearby in the evening, not many restaurants. Doesn't bother me but if you want a wide dining choice within walking distance this is less than ideal.

Very convenient location

Room is basic but good enough for a short stay if you’re not staying in much. Location is convenient. Service from the staff is lacking. Overall, really good value for the price.

My experience with this hotel wasn’t the best. The check in was horrible. You have to do it in a machine where instructions are not clear and even they have a receptionist, she got mad because she had to leave her desk to come to explain to me about the check in. She was rude, didn’t greet us or at least said Hi. The bathroom shower was clogged with hair from who knows who…. Next to the hotel right outside the front door there is a passageway where homeless seat there and the whole area smell urine. You can smell it right outside the front door. Definitely needs to improve in service, train better their employees, check periodically the rooms and find a better way to work with the city to take better care of the surrounding area.

Quiet. Great location. Especially loved the availability of bottles & cold water option in the Hall Overall a great trip for 2 sisters.. I only gave it 4 stars because the refrigerator never got cold, the bathroom piped slightly leaked on towels. No a good view - bldg with paper & books piled high in their windows. I plan to come back to Washington DC next year. I would stay here again, but choose a different room.

The property was nice staff was very sweet you have to request a microwave or fridge though and the TVs don’t work all the way . But everything else was nice !

The hotel was clean but the room too nosy and the AC didn’t cool enough. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, look like all mattress. Honestly it wasn’t the best to be able to rest at night. All street noise and metro was inside the room

Check-in and check-out can be done without staff interaction and were simple. I really enjoyed the free water refills station on the floor. Bedding had a few stains, but actual room was overall pretty clean. The shower wasn’t the cleanest, as the shower head had some mildew build up and the shower head only had 2 settings for water pressure—super intense or basically nothing. It was a comfortable place for a few nights at a decent price in a very good location.

The bathroom was my only concern they are to small. The toilet is close to the sink and the shower. Overall everything else was fine.

Good stay clean and quiet good location

This was a fantastic location. Central and right above a metro stop. The staff were helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing that could be better is the dark cabinets are chipped and scratched in a way that makes it look in need of a refresh. For the price, its easy to ignore. I would stay here again and again.

Great location - near 2 metro stops so you have access to 4 lines. Comfortable beds and it was quiet

Quick check in after a long flight. Clean room with all the amenities you’ll need after unwinding. Right in the center of restaurants and sites

The location is great in between King and Bay Streets. It’s a more chill area than King Street which turns clubby at night on the weekends. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We had three girls in our room from Thursday to Saturday. Having no room service was not ideal. We had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. The old towels piled up in all the corners. Trash can was overflowing so we used an extra CVS paper bag. Most of the staff at the front desk were good and Ty was great. They charged my card for the entire stay when we checked in, instead of just to hold for incidentals. When we questioned it, they lied and said they didn’t do that. When we checked out Ty was able to credit me and allow us to split the bill. Would be good for couples but not good for friend trips.
