Reviews
The hotel's location is consistently praised, being close to many attractions and amenities. However, the reviews are mixed regarding the hotel's cleanliness, facilities, and staff friendliness. Many guests have expressed dissatisfaction with hidden fees, such as resort and parking fees, and outdated or dirty rooms.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff in some instances
- Hidden fees (resort fee, parking fee)
- Outdated or dirty rooms

The current lobby situation is dirty and under construction the air-conditioning was not working and it was extremely hot. The staff was helpful in my room was clean and well appointed the best part of the experience was my room The issue I had with my room was the air conditioning controls were very old and we’re not sensitive to minor adjustments. The fan was loud and was hard to sleep.
- 4/5
The property is being remodeled so the the outside looked rough but the room & staff were nice.
- 2/5
The hotel is under renovation and they have a makeshift lobby set up in the restaurant, everyone has to use the service elevator which is sometimes slow. I stayed in a newly renovated room which was clean but the AC unit did not work well had to call the front desk twice. Overall the location is convenient but I equally wished I would’ve know about the lobby renovation

Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet Major refurbishment underway, meaning no lounge, no bar, no restaurant and we were not made aware of this when booking

OK, so I’ll start with the good stuff. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room itself had just been remodeled and was very clean and the furnishings in the room were new and it was great but the rest of the hotel was horrible. It advertised a pool. It did not have a working pool. It advertised a restaurant in a bar. It had no restaurant no bar it advertise valet parking, but it didn’t tell you that it’s $80 for the valet parking per day, the hotel when we were, there was under major renovation and it looked to be moving slow, but everything was tore up. I mean everything on our stay there at 6 o’clock in the morning they started construction in the hallway outside of our room with hammering drilling cutting 6AM I would not recommend this hotel unless they finish all of the improvements and it’s substantially better. We did not enjoy our stay other than the staff in the room itself. The rest of the hotel was horrible and it was falsely advertised we should have been refunded part of our money. We spent $300 on a one night stay plus $80 on valet parking so for $380 we got no pool no restaurant no amenities whatsoever
- 1/5
The hotel was under significant renovations and should have been closed. The construction crew utilized the only working elevator as a freight elevator which was extremely challenging to navigate as there was often no space for the guests staying in the hotel. The reception desk and overall services listed were not available nor deducted from the overall price of the stay. For being a corporate hotel located in a central area, the hotel stay was overall unacceptable.
- 5/5
Due to construction, it did seem sketchy from the outside. But we don’t judge by the cover of the book. The room was astoundingly clean! Even got a great city view. Definitely would book again!

The localization of the hotel is in a comfortable walking distance from the Mall. Our stay at Beacon was a series of problems, we stayed there for 3 nights, in chronological order: 1. At check-in, we were informed that yes, we're staying for 3 night, but we will need to change room after first night 2. We got the keys for the room, it turned out that the room was in the middle of AC maintenance and the AC is disassembled in the middle of the room 3. After notifying staff what's happening I got informed that they don't have another room, after escalating another room has been found 4. In the morning, it turned out that the door handle in the new room is disconnected from the inside - leaving us inside without a way out. The telephone to the front desk was disconnected, I needed to call for help. Overall, the staff attitude was really bad, I don't recommend

The Property is going through major renovations: Lobby is closed off and you enter through what was once a hotel resturant. From what it looked like, they have big plans but it won't be complete any time soon. I don't know if they have parking but the location is the best aspect for the property; it's an easy 30 minute walk to the White House. We had a renovated room; it was very clean & nice but the bathroom lights seemed to be on a motion sensor which went off frequently in the middle of the night and they need new beds. Maid and janitorial staff were great.
- 3/5
Hotel has great potential however we were unable to use the amenities advertised due to construction.
- 4.5/5
The bed was so comfortable it was so clean and very quiet the staff was very friendly overall my stay was lovely would definitely go again can't say enough bout the bed super comfortable and the pillows soft all 4 plus one I had a rough first night. The room was hot A/C wasn't working right, but the staff gave me another room, and that room was so much better and no microwave

Location. Room quite modernly renovated, however did not like the plumbing issues and no vent in the bathroom. Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing due to check-in delays, room discrepancies, poor service, and plumbing issues. We arrived at 4:00 PM for check-in, but our room was not ready. We left for over an hour to grab something to eat, but upon returning, we still had to wait another 30 minutes before finally being assigned a room. Furthermore, we did not receive the room type we paid for. We had booked a suite with a small kitchen, but we were given a renovated room without a kitchen, and the staff did not inform us of this change. When we noticed the error and asked to switch to the room we actually booked, we were moved to an outdated, dark suite on the second floor. It looked nothing like the photos online, felt very claustrophobic, and the kitchen was barely functional—equipped with only a single fork, knife, spoon, and plate. Because the room was so unpleasant, we felt we had no choice but to move back to the renovated room. As a result, we spent our entire stay without the kitchen we had planned on using to cook breakfast for our children. The service and housekeeping were also highly disappointing. There is no room service available, and when we requested extra towels—since the room was only prepared for two guests despite us being a party of four—we were told we had to come down to the reception to pick them up ourselves. Housekeeping management was equally poor; one morning, a cleaner knocked on our door around 9:00 AM. We asked them to return a bit later since we were heading out shortly, but they never came back, leaving our room uncleaned for the rest of the day. The following day, we had to explicitly request room cleaning at the reception desk just to get it taken care of. Lastly, there is a major issue with the water pressure. Whenever a neighboring room flushes a toilet, the cold water completely cuts out, causing the shower water to suddenly become scalding hot.

Friendly staff UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Rooms not ready for prime time. Had to share elevator with dirty construction workers daytime. Resturant an c roof top bar CLOSED. Only valet parking. $77 one night without tipping!
- 3.5/5
The room was nice and clean, newly renovated. Well equipped. Location was really good and suitable for my needs. It’s completely under renovation which wasn’t really clear when I booked the room so except for the hallway and a room, the rest of the hotel is old, dirty and dusty as you can expect when all is under renovation. Also, some work in the renovated rooms was done poorly so the shampoo dispensers were only glued to the tiles and it all came down in the middle of the night waking me up.
- 2.5/5
First of all, location is okey. But just okey you would still need to walk to national mall etc. Walking was not a problem for us; so location was a plus. Our room was at 8th floor so we had a nice view. THE WHOLE BUILDING IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They dont tell you that you only figure out when you enter the hotel from a grill bar door. They test fire alarm several times a day. One of the elevators are only used by construction workers, and the other one works whenever it wants. Their parking rate is scam dont fall for it.

Much of the hotel was also under construction, including Floors 1–6 and the penthouse level, which is one of the property's advertised attractions because of its views of downtown D.C. The extent of the renovations significantly impacted the overall guest experience. After the elevator incident, I expected empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. Instead, I was met with rudeness and indifference. The staff was dismissive when I asked questions about how to remedy this issue. When I requested documentation, a receipt, and information regarding the refund process. The customer service issues continued after I checked out. Two days later, I called to inquire about my refund and obtain an update on the process. The staff was unprofessional during the call and ultimately hung up on me before my questions were answered. I cannot recommend the Beacon Hotel. Between the ongoing construction, the elevator emergency, and the disappointing response from staff, this was one of the worst hotel experiences.

Good location though needed to walk 10 mins to nearest metro. Clean and cool It is being renovated at the moment which we weren’t informed of when booking or before we arrived. Meant some facilities weren’t available eg restaurant Suite had coffee maker but no cups/coffee pods

I enjoyed my stay at the Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarter! During my visit the building was going through major renovations, but the staff were extremely kind and patient with helping me get my luggage up and down the floors. I thought the room was perfect, clean, and its amenities were well maintained. I would certainly come back the next time I am in DC! Special thanks to V, Karen, and Solomon for their kindness and hard work, as well as to the other staff who I did not get to catch their name.

The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. My room was remodeled and was beautiful and very comfortable. No complaints there. But everything else about the hotel as far as amenities is terrible right now. They are still a long way off from finishing the construction. My biggest issue was the elevator. All four days I was there there were issues with them not working at some time or other. We even got stuck in the elevator and had to have the Fire Department get us out! But one good thing is they had a manager named Diane who was wonderful who really understood and listened to my problem and resolved my issues. Diane was great! Overall it was a good and comfortable room to just sleep.

The location was great. Shower water was hot rooms were spacious and the view from the 8th floor was pleasant. This hotel is under construction and it was definitely not noted on the website. Starting with check in, we had to go in and find someone to park our car. We didn’t know it was only valet. The whole front is a mess with black curtains coving most of it but it’s real unorganized. The restaurant or bar isn’t working or open at all. The elevator took forever because of the construction. The room was spacious but the fridge didn’t work properly the lighting. The TV wasn’t clear and only 3 channels worked. We called down for things but they said housekeeping wasn’t available all day. For $150 incidentals HOLD i wanna know for $800 for 3 days what did i pay for. Im so disappointed and will definitely be contacting customer service. nothing bit a bed and no services whatsoever.

Overall the property was great. The location requires a short walk to access restaurants and shops, but it’s a pleasant walk through a nice neighbourhood. The room was spacious with a separate seating area. The bed was comfortable and the shower hit and strong. Unfortunately this property was undergoing a major update during our stay which impacted our time here. A temporary reception desk was in use while the foyer was closed off. Some building works were audible in our room, and the water was unexpectedly turned off meaning no toilet or shower! Luckily this was on our day of departure, but staff should have communicated this to us as it impacted with our morning. Housekeeping was hit and miss, meaning we had to go to reception to ask for things that weren’t refilled such as bathroom supplies.
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed. It was clean. And good location. They are doing a refit. While it wasn't noisy, it would have been good to have the restaurant available.
- 2/5
The property is currently under major construction. I was not the only guest woken by 6:30am on multiple mornings by construction noise despite being told noise wouldn’t start until 9. This occurred for guests staying on different floors, so was not a localized issue.

Nothing The hotel is under construction, so we have to use the service elevator. - Construction noise starting at 6:30 a.m., with a deafening racket - Water outage - Cold water in the evening for showering, even after letting it run for 10 minutes - no soap dispenser - I had to follow up about 8 times via email to finally get my bill My request for compensation went unanswered. That’s it—no one from my company will ever stay at this hotel again.

Fortunately the room we stayed in had just been refurbished. The hotel is going under major reconstruction of the reception, eating and sitting areas. The TV wasn’t working even though we reported it to reception. The security safe was not working and needed maintenance to install batteries before it would useable. We also had to use a not so nice the service lift to access our room and reception. When booking this hotel there was no mention of building work going on and the management said this work has been going on for quite a few months and will continue for another 4 to 5 months. Had we known we would not have booked this hotel. We are formally requesting compensation as this hotel has spoiled what was men5 to be a special holiday.

Since the shower enclosure is relatively narrow, it would be better to place the shampoo holders on the shorter sides of the cubicle. As you wash, you constantly bump into the holder. The area where the showerhead is located would be the best spot.
- 2/5
The air conditioning in the room did not work. After a request to maintenance, it remained unchanged. The current & ongoing remodeling and construction was impactful to the reservation. Best to avoid while renovations continue.
- 4/5
Nice hotel but under construction so things were a bit off.
- 2/5
We were not told the property was under renovation so we had to dodge equipment & const. workers. We were told there was a restaurant but when we arrived we learned it was closed down & there was no ice machine. The front entrance was closed off due to construction so we drove around the block 3 times before we could manage to get inside. They should inform guest about the construction, in advance, & offer reduced rates if still interested.

This property was actually under construction. However, I would like to say that the gentleman that checked us in close to midnight due to a delayed flight gave us all of the information we needed and set expectations around non-working heat and possibly needing to let the hot water run for a bit to get it hot. However, once we got to our rooms, or actually right when I stepped into the hallway off of my elevator, I could see the renovations were well done. My room was very modern. I really thought it looked beautiful. The lighting in the bathroom, especially for makeup, was great. There was plenty of hot water. The bed were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The only thing I suggested was that the bathroom did not have one possible hook or shelf for your body wash or your face cloth, but I did ask the front desk on my way out and they said they would be installing them. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward to staying again when your remodel is complete.

location was next to embassies, which worked good for us. We were on Open Embassy day May 2 - to visit embassies, so location was great. This hotel is under renovation and it's very dirty entrance, restaurant and bar doesn't work now, has repair works going on inside and on Monday morning workers started to work, making big noise in the hotel, disturbed our sleep. We paid $800 for 3 nights, but it's not worth it. The only good about this hotel that is next to embassies, if you need them.

Very spacious room, with brilliant shower. Fridge was available Hotel is currently being renovated, therefore, the review has inherent bias somewhat built in. The soap dispenser was empty. I’ve stayed here before and that’s why I booked again and was very disappointed. Will not be back. Not worth the price at all.

There were some issues due to the beautiful renovations going on, but the attentive staff took care of us like family and we were so happy. What a wonderful trip to our nations Capitol! Great location, great staff! Thanks again Diane, Jorge and Elvis! We will be back for sure. I forgot the valet! Great job in and out fellas!

The hotel was lovely overall..it was in a great location for getting anywhere you needed in Washington DC with great nearby transport links by bus and metro. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are super clean and beautiful. The location is really central and makes things easily walk-able. The staff were generally nice and helpful as well. First it was the wifi (very slow, odd login system). The elevator broke and they started renovations on the Lobby without telling folks (we were staying on the top floor as well). Ended up being told to use another elevator that wasn't coming even after 15 minutes as nobody in the hotel seemed to know this was going to happen.

The young lady at the front desk was absolutely delightful...the rooms were clean but very cold and the hot water wasnt so hot. Outside of that the place was close to everything, clean, and safe.

I did not like that the room was cold. Upon arrival to my room I called the front desk and told them that the room was cold and they sent an engineer to fix the room temperature but it was still cold. So I went downstairs to the front desk and ask told them that it was still cold and they provided extra blankets and a small heater but it was still cold throughout the night. Therefore, I did not sleep well. I had to sleep in a sweater. In addition, I also found a needle under the sheets, which made me very uncomfortable.

Room was not clean. Room was not as advertised on Expedia—different bathroom. Bathroom was nasty—tub dripped all night, toilet flushed and came back up, paint peeling, rust on towel racks, and shower head coming off wall. Property is under renovation—no sky deck, no restaurant (even though got email station hours) and gym is not a real gym at all.

It was a cold. expensive room. You could hear the pipes when other guests were using the shower. It was an old building the coffee pot leaked. Did I mention the heater would not work and it was expensive to stay there
- 3/5
My stay was not the most ideal. Check-in was super easy and staff were pleasant. My issues were with my room. It was so poorly lit. I also had no TV signal. My heating/cooling system did not work well. The bed was not the most comfortable. Bathroom lights are on a timer, so they constantly turn off too soon while taking a shower, yikes! The hotel looks like it was a trendsetter and was an early adopter to apartment/ suite style lodging, but it has not been upgraded at all which was evident in a few places throughout the hotel, and in my room with the kitchen area. I probably will not stay again, but it served its purpose while there.

The hotel is undergoing a renovation and workers cut cable cords so a section of rooms had no television. They knew this when they booked the rooms, but ddnt say anything until everyone was complaining. We asked could we get other rooms and we were all told that the hotel was completely booked up. They should not be renting room with no televisions or it should’ve been disclosed upfront. We were in town for a basketball tournament and couldn’t watch any games at night. Horrible customer service
- 5/5
They are going through a renovation and they are doing a great job! That king bed was phenomenal. So comfortable!! The room was spacious and very very clean. The nightstands had even a speaker if you wanted to listen to music and another one to add “white noise” during your sleep. It’s the little things you know? The gentleman in the lobby that took care of your valet parking was awesome too. Im assuming it will improve since they are renovating it. But the elevators and the main lobby reception office does need some love.

1 day before check-in (when its too late to cancel), they mention their hidden fee of $35 USD per night. They call this a facility fee. But they have no facilities. The gym is 4 pieces of equipment in a meeting room, the restaurant / bar and upstairs rec areas are all closed. They have been closed for months, according to staff. Then at 7AM, they are drilling and doing renovations which is super loud and vibrates thru the walls.
- 3.5/5
No mini fridge in my room, construction noise and tv not working some of the time. Also internet slow until I complained.
- 3/5
The hotel is being remodeled and I wasn’t aware of this prior to booking. Strong smell of cleaning product in elevator. No restaurant or bar available. Non working ice machine. Dingy looking carpet and interior. I did happen to land on a floor being worked on and it’s going to wonderful once completed.

Room was clean but restaurant was closed so no near dinner after arrival. This was one of the reasons booking this hotel. No breakfast so wife did business on empty stomach. I was I had gone with my original choice for my wife but wanted her to be close to where business was being conducted. Also, she states going out at night alone in that area is not a good idea. Will not stay there again.

Restaurant was closed for renovations. Front door has been wonky for the last year. If you look close you can see some cosmetic flaws in the building. House keeping , front desk and valet staff were awesome.
- 4/5
The staff were welcoming, courteous, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The surrounding area felt clean and safe, though the nearest Metro station was about a 10‑minute walk away. The only downside was that the restaurant/bar and the gym were closed for refurbishment during our visit, which was a little disappointing.

Check-in was kind of a mess. The front desk guy was friendly, but when I got to my room, I discovered that it wasn't the one I had ordered. Rather than a king-size bed with kitchenette, I had two full-size beds. When I complained, I was given a king-size, no kitchenette with no discount or refund. Also, was told that hot water may not be an option, and discovered that the walls were very thin. Location is great, but overall it was a very disappointing stay.

The staff was lovely however I didn't have hot water (not even warm water) for my entire 3 night stay. Maintenance came 4 times in one day and finally they stayed long enough to know that the warm water lasted only 45 seconds. I asked them to comp at least one room night as this is a pretty big issue. My invoice was emailed to me later and they did not do this. They are currently under construction and the rooms they are booking are old and not functioning. Highly recommend booking elsewhere until they are done.

The rooms need refurbishment, and the worn-out furniture needs to be replaced. No refrigerator, nor a wardrobe in the room (hanging opportunity in the bathroom). The TV programs did't work. Cleaning staff tried to enter the room against the "No disturb" sign hanging on the doorknob, claiming that many guests forget to remove it. The reception was good and professional. Great location in downtown Washington DC.

Key cards constantly de magnetized. Not just me. Each time I got in the elevators, I saw frustrated guests returning to the front desk for the issue. And…. When being reactivated at the desk, no ID was requested, just “what number?” From a very frustrated staff. They know the issue and hate it. But, what about room security? Anyone could ask for any room key…. I did not feel comfortable. I’ll skip this hotel on my next stay in DC

The hotel had turned the air conditioning off for winter and the room was too hot. They said there was nothing they could do about it. I mean, they were nice about it, just couldn't fix it. Of course, the "resort fee" is a total scam, as it is elsewhere. There are zero facilities in this hotel and a very small lobby. Resort is not a word that would ever come to mind there. Otherwise ok. Good location.

After nearly an hour of dealing with unbearable heat I was finally moved to a third room. By that point the experience had gone from uncomfortable to exhausting. On top of that I was blindsided by a $65 parking fee with an additional 18 percent tax added to it which felt excessive and unreasonable. For the price and location I expected basic comfort and professionalism not this level of disorganization and surprise charges. I would not recommend staying here until they address serious issues with room management climate control and transparency about costs.

Parking was limited to valet only $76 a day. Total rip off along with $44 day resort fee sprung on us at check-in ... Never again!

2. Took 15 minutes for shower to heat up. 3. Sink faucet was leaking and dripping. 4. Sink faucet drain was broken. 5. Our key cards were inactivated before our check out time. 6. Dusty and moldy fan vent in bathroom. 7. Horrible hotel placement, as the beeping and honking from cars and traffic outside is so loud. It feels as if they are in the room with you. 8. Rooftop bar and hotel restaurant were BOTH closed. 9. With all that said, was ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the price paid to stay here. Would not recommend at all.
- 3/5
furniture was outdated, the only light in the room came from two lamps, the photos of the hotel website are projections for their remodel not the actual current state of the rooms which is very deceiving, they had no functioning toilet in the lobby or in their restaurant/bar, staff was not attentive their first priority was finishing a conversation with their coworkers before helping me, the guest.
- 3/5
Rooms needs an upgrade, windows are old and no sound proof. Could not sleep till 3 AM due to noise and traffic.

Ok so this hotel is a cheap hotel disguised as a nice hotel. Parking is way too expensive. But the valet drivers were amazing. Front counter people could be a little bit nicer. No fridges in the unit, had to ask for a coffee maker which was broken, headboards were stained. Definitely won’t be staying here again.
- 3/5
The staff was rather indifferent, similar to many; nothing special. On the plus side, they promptly replaced the defective room and elevator cards, and the hot water was super-hot quickly!
- 3/5
We were a group of three friends and we booked a room with double beds just to sleep in. However, the room only had two towels and two blankets. The phone was broken, making it impossible to request these extras because we arrived late. Room 317 is noisy, as they started working very early, before 8 a.m., and it was very noisy. Also, as adults, everything was left perfectly as it hadn't been delivered. We left a $65 deposit that they should refund us. We were there on October 7th, and it's October 23rd, and they haven't refunded us yet.

Would NOT recommend UNLESS … — a deal at $100 or less OR if you plan to hardly ever use your room due to a very busy itinerary. Rooms • Dated … not just the style but wallpaper seams were peeling apart, first room had an ugly hole in the screen for it, and the beds are void of any fluff or firm support. And I could hear EVERY plumbing activity of room above. • Tech: . The TV service constantly had at least 5 channels “unavailable by satellite.” WiFi … receives a Failing Grade —> it requires ample patience and accepting that you’ll have 2015 bandwidth … in 2025 that’s barely adequate. You’ll also be routinely asked to log back in as a guest. Suite/Short Residence: Great for the price but lower expectations because all the above is from my use of it for a week between apartments, so I could bear and grin it having already mentally prepared for a week of spartan living in my home town. If expecting more, it will disappoint • Housekeeping: decent but odd in its scheduling … I could never plan for when they would clean, so I declined this service. • Staff: Very personable and easy to work with but they too are dealing with a place in dire need of an upgrade and thus more resources to be able to do more.

The star was amazing however the hotel has lost its luster. Everything is outdated. I felt like I was punked because when you look at the pictures online the rooms don’t reflect that.
- 5/5
I got the most expensive room, apparently by the price posted at the door, but there was not even a mini fridge. While the deals are great for the room price, they charge almost as much for parking, which can only be done with valet. It’s hard to find a spot on the street, so I paid once after the experience of searching for parking. Never tried their restaurant but the location is perfect to grab a bite in DC.
- 4/5
I had a comfortable stay for 1 night at the Beacon Hotel. Central location to restaurants and other city attractions.
- 2/5
The property was so dated the furniture was old and had bad ware it should be thrown out. They are not accommodating. Pricing especially for valet parking isn’t updated on Expedia. For the price and area there is no reason for a luxury establishment be so uncomfortable and poor quality all around. I would suggest if you care about quality take 15 mins at least to find a better stay trust me.

First the good: the room we initally received did not match the room in the picture on Expedia so very friendly/accommodating front desk staff corrected that immediately. Also, the hotel has an excellent location. The bad: a/c didn't work in the bedroom and it never got fixed during a one week stay (was reported multiple times), coffee maker didn't work, daily maid service does not include vaccuuming (at least ours didn't). It's definitely an older property, not horrendous but I won't be back.

This hotel is worth the money. It made it affordable. It is nice. Some things are a bit dated, but what I loved was the size of the room. We had an area with a desk, a table and two chair, chairs, two beds, also a sofa bed couch with a table in front of it. So lots of room. The location is really great. It is near lots of the metro stations and actually fairly close to the White House in monuments. I marked most of it good which was true, but I have to say for the price we paid. It really was a great deal in the DC area.

The bathroom had rust on the ceiling and the climate control would not heat the room. It only had the fan and the A/C option working. Thus the room temperature eventually got down to 65 degrees since the heat would never kick on.

Huge room, but tiny bathroom. No where to put toiletries and no where to put shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The AC was ancient and either ran constantly or not at all. The solo coffee machine sounded like a jackhammer when making the tiniest cup of coffee. Bar staff were super friendly.

Location. Good value for the money.

Excellent from start to finish. Easy check in and out. Room was massive. Bed very comfortable and bathroom spotless. Great location as well. Highly recommended

No parking

The air conditioner DID NOT work. I asked the front desk twice to look into it. One woman said the system was not working. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was almost unbearable as the temperature was in the high 70s every day. The room needs a complete update.

The email sent didn’t show the proper amount for the parking fee & I had to pay more than expected

The hotel is in need of major updates. Everything looks dingy and that was not reflected on the pictures in the profile.

While it's about a mile walk to the National Mall and main attractions, we found it manageable. Pro tip: rent a Lime scooter or grab a city bike for a faster, more fun way to explore. There's also free water in the room as well as in the gym on floor "T" If you're okay trading a few extra minutes of commuting for a better price, this spot is well worth considering.

I think the amount of extra charges is a lot for this hotel. Parking is not accessible and you are forced to pay valet parking for $76 dollars a night. When the website says $60.00. There was no fridge in hotel. Hotel in my opinion was overpriced. There was no continental breakfast no anything available everything was you had to pay out-of-pocket extra. Hotel was fine. People were very nice, but it was very expensive. No Paul no continental breakfast for gas just nothing.

Price point is high but the rooms are well maintained and in a nice area. Staff is friendly. Overall a comfortable stay, however at the price point offered, one may find alternatives with the same amenities at a lower cost.

Great hotel close to all the attractions friendly staff and very tidy.

Great hotel a little old but does the job super central and walking distance from everywhere!

I never write reviews, but this place was AWFUL. I understand it wasn’t going to be luxurious but clean would have been nice. Dated rooms with dented up furniture. Visible damage on the ceiling, peeling wallpaper, the room smelled like smoke, dusty and surfaces were covered in grime. I was only there for one night and I decided not to shower and wait until I got home because the room grossed me out so bad. The lobby also smelled like a dead animal was in the wall or something truly vile.

Everything was great!

Love this hotel. Great location. Parking is $80 a day. The Restaurant is being renovated and wasn’t open. Suites are worth the money, and great for kids and Parents.

Breakfast was a little slow and pricey.

The location was ideal but I found it very overpriced for the quality of the room. They charged more for parking than advertised, ($75 before tax)there were only 2 medium bath towels, no towels for hands or face, the paint was very old and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Too much money for so little. We won't be back and we will not recommend.

I will pay in one night 280$ and It was not worth the price at all, it is old and dirty.

Good location and the most reasonable price in an increasingly expensive city and neighborhood. Room and amenities were more than adequate. I'd definitely stay again.

Our AC in the room went out during the evening hours and the front desk was kind enough to put us in a different room and gave us more space. Truly grateful for the front desk staff

This is a nice, centrally located property in DC. The hotel has a restaurant and bar so if you feel like staying in, you can just chill. There also are some good restaurants within a 5-10 min walk which are quite good. A quick Uber ride to the capital mall was ~$14. Rooms are good size and clean. We got a queen room for my wife and I and a dual double for our kids which worked well. Be aware there is a $34.79/day "facility fee" which they only tell you a couple days before. They should eliminate this in my opinion as are not any super facilities and no one likes being surprised 2 days before arriving.

A nice property, friendly staff, rooms nice but nothing special. It seems to be set up for business/corporate meetings and conference space, not so much the individual traveler. Also, a great location.

Good price and it’s centrally located for sightseeing and nightlife

Not every facilities shown on the photos were available such as the rooftop. They should explain the times and seasons the facilities will be available for the guests.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice clean rooms. Fairly quiet, there was some road noise, I was on the 8th floor. Overall it was a good relaxing stay.
