Room was spacious and clean. Shower had incredible water pressure. Location was pretty convenient. The breakfast was horrible, and the bed was not comfortable.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the location was perfect in relation to where I needed to go for work, the included breakfast and microwave/mini fridge definitely a plus for longer stays. Overall solid place for the area If I had to list some negative things they would be, the shower is nice but water does come out the back and gets all over the floor. They could pay more attention to the walls when cleaning there were some noticeable stains. Lastly I'd rather have the waffle maker vs the pancake maker (which is what they have) as the pancakes come out a bit rubbery.

Hotel is not maintained to Holiday Inn standards. Many need items in need of repair. I would hope they have a renovation in their future soon.

The staff were nice. I just found the cost didn't match the accommodations. Our toilet tank didn't have a cover that fit. It was clearly a mismatch item. The bathroom door had suffered a lot of water damage from humidity so that the interior bathroom door was a mess.

I went to the lobby for Breakfast to see my family gathered for a funeral and when I went back up to my room to use the bathroom the cleaning crew was already in there so I couldn’t use it. I did not check out yet and it was well before checkout time.

The road noise from the bypass is terrible if your room is on the bypass side of the hotel. Truck traffic all night long, be sure to get your room on the front side of the hotel or bring your ear plugs.

Where to begin…whomever owns and operates this hotel doesn’t seem to care about the condition of the property. Our room was damp—noticeably so. I felt wet lounging around and sleeping; the room had a damp-rid container placed on top of the wardrobe; the room smelled musty; and a bag of chips we left in the room became soggy—despite the bag being closed. The buttons on the remote in our room mostly did not function. The pool was green sludge, as though they never cleaned it or prepared it for summer. The breakfast wasn’t much better: rubbery pancakes from the pancake machine, inadequately cooked potatoes, and I could go on. The only saving grace of this hotel was the staff, all of whom were pleasant and helpful. Would never stay here again.

Room smelled like moisture/mildew. Even on arrival. Leaving the bathroom vent fans on did not help to clear it. Room was alright, but outdated and showed signs. It wasn't bad, but for the price that was paid I expected better condition. If price was more appropriate for the condition, then it would not be as low rated. There was unbelievably kind to us very professional. We had a problem with next-door neighbors last night with a child and also extremely loud talking by the woman on a telephone. Crystal understood the problem and totally gave us credit for our room and was very understanding and very kind. We always stay at Holiday Inn. We love staying at the Holiday Inn expresses and are so appreciative of how grateful we were treated by Crystal. She is an exceptional employee manager And we feel that we were fully compensated for what happened last night. Thank you so much for having Crystal there to help us this morning as we checked out.

I enjoyed my one-night stay at this place. This is my second time staying here and I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel.

I have to say, this place (looks) clean and the staff is super kind, but I woke up with bites all over me so the beds did have bed bugs in them. Secondly, the breakfast is just bad. I would be disappointed if I had paid for it. The breakfast potatoes were not fully cooked. "Buffet" has limited options. I stayed for 4 nights and it was pretty much bland eggs, some type of sausage, and half cooked potatoes or a biscuit. They had drinks, coffee and milk. Some yogurt and cinnamon buns. But everything was just bland so you have to juice it up to make it tolerable. But it's free so can't complain too much. But some days I would just have some juice because the breakfast wasn't worth the calories overall.

What can be expected for the price.

We had a quick overnight stay on a road trip. The room was a nice size and had a built in bench to sit on or put a suitcase on. Bed was soft and comfortable and the water pressure was amazing.

Get what you pay for! No riff raff outside, no bad inside! I have been to other establishments where they have bed bugs and roaches. Meth heads. Lots of noise. Paper thin walls. At the holiday inn it’s peaceful, quiet and a good breakfast. Clean, comfy beds!

Stayed during an LPGA event. Hotel is imbedded in a nice residential neighborhood. Little town is close, quaint with good pubs.

I was disappointed for the price of the room per night, there was holes in the bottom of the wall by the air conditioner. The bottom of the bathroom door was all cracked, torn and peeling. The bathroom had hair on the floor. Was very disappointed.

Check in person was amazing and friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious (typical hot breakfast flat eggs, but they tasted good and there were biscuits, bacon, and hot cinnamon rolls, along with cereal and toast/muffins). Hotel was clean and room seem immaculate.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff hospitable and friendly. One of the larger breakfast rooms I've seen in recent hotel stays.

A sharp metal bar attached to the bed frame stuck out about 1 1/2” from mattress. I had to be very conscientious to not tear up my leg getting in and out of bed.

The TV in exercise room was not working and they did not fulfill my request to fix it even though they said they would.

I had a sprained ankle. The staff was wonderful to check us in early. They even gave me a handicapped room with walk in shower. This was great until I took the shower. Apparently there was not adequate drainage. When I went to get out of ADA shower the whole bathroom and foyer was flooded. I was in the room alone trying to walk out of bathroom w/o falling. They did move us to a better room with shower. But since it was holiday my husband cleaned up the flooded area.

It appeared to me the the hotel location was a residential area. Difficult to located in inclement weather. Driving in heavy rain it was uneasy to spot and exterior lighting was not easily seen.

Very nice accommodations. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. This place is better than the ones we've stayed in at this price point. We felt safe and comfortable. Only reason i didnt give it a perfect score is because we are light sleepers and the hotel is right on the expressway. We would definitely stay here again, but we would ask for a room on the front side of the building. Hotel is located in a business park area. Very short drive, 5 min, to restaurants and shopping. Very nice, I would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay and time in the pool

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Warrenton for 2 nights and were in the area for a family wedding. The hotel was clean, offered a decent free breakfast (loved the pancakes), and had a nice outdoor pool. The front desk staff were not very welcoming and offered little information. I even had to ask about the breakfast and its hours. Overall, a nice hotel whose employees could use a course in interpersonal relations.
