Staff was amazing whenever they could get to the phone when you call. Sometimes you couldn’t get anyone to answer right away but it was extremely busy this weekend. Other than that room was clean bed were clean and fresh. Had a refrigerator microwave iron ironing board, coffee maker coffee pods cups and ice container. Water in the room was for sell so bring ur own water. AMAZING STAY!

Our room was comfortable but had several issues. One was the TV not working. It turned on but you could not navigate to any channels. We called the front desk to see if there was something we needed to do and the man said he would come up and look at it. He didn't come so we started looking ourselves and saw that some cables behind the TV were not plugged in so had to reach back and connect them. Also the fridge had been left unplugged and was warm and smelled strongly of sour milk. I cleaned it thoroughly with body wash and a wash cloth and plugged it in and was able to use it in an hour or so. The next morning our room cards would not open our door so had to go back to the front desk and get them reactivated. We came up but still would not open the door so had to go back down again and this time got new cards that did work. It was the same gentleman from the night before working and he apologized saying he was the only one on duty. Another note- the hotel has a beautiful spacious lobby with a bar but it was very noisy. There were large groups of people there at night and still there in the morning. Also kids playing chase in the lobby. Don't know if every weekend is like that but something for travelers to be aware of if they want a quiet place rather than a barlike atmosphere.

Didn't have breakfast there. Even the Holiday Inn Express offers free breakfast! Entering the room, the complete air conditioner cover was laying on the floor. Like someone worked on it and never put it back. The desk clerk went there to put it back on. Not a good first impression.

When I made the reservation it stated it was the last room. The customer service was great. The room was not good. The shower faucet was dripping hitting the side of the tub and I didn't know the floor was wet and I slid and almost fell but was able to regain my balance. I went to the front desk and said keep the curtain in the tub and they would have it fixed after I left. The tub in room 301 where I stayed had a two tone color that made it look dirty. I believe they tried to reglaze it. They furniture was old and chipped. I took pictures. TV reception was bad it said it would resume shortly. They charge for breakfast and parking. Prior to my checkout which was supposed to be 11 am I found my room key was disabled at 8am! I picked this hotel because it was a Hilton. I later found it to be a franchise. That should not make a difference. I believe they have a responsibility to make sure they are kept to their standards. I paid $370. This was a birthday celebration to me and it was not good. I am a senior and I made a big sacrifice to celebrate me. It was the worst birthday weekend. I will be complaining to the Hilton corporate office!

Room was clean and so was hotel. Good location as well. However, breakfast was not free which I thought it was, so that was a little misleading. Also, parking was a headache. Parking was not free, 11.50 per day and I had to go online thru some website to sign in to pay for it. Hard to do and was unnecessary and unanticipated. Also, wifi was hard to sign in as well. Hilton should be better.

Location. It was in the middle of everything. The initial room 105 was dirty and the toilet was broken. Room 101 was not as dirty and no one explained on how to turn the refrigerator on. I lost all of my birthday dinner from the night before. The water pressure in the shower was not great and the hot water ran out immediately.

The Hotel is Nickle and Dime your guest to Death !! You charge for a parking lot AT your hotel ! you charge $7 for a bowl of ceral and $15 for eggs !! Best Western offers FREE breakfast of ceral and hot scrambled eggs with bacon !! Best Western does not charge me to Park IN their parking lot. AND the bathtub faucet was broken. When I turned on the shower - half water was still going to tub and HALF to upper shower. You should take ALL the money from parking and Breakfast and do some repairs to the bathrooms. The toilet seat was cracked also. You charge a lot and do Not give you guest a lot for their money !

I enjoyed the bar, the parking was nice and its close to food and a mall. I'd like to thank the two young ladies for all their assistance during my stay.

Though the lobby and exterior grounds were presentable, the overall appearance of the hotel room and hallways were tired and in need of refurbishment (damaged furnishings, exposed electrical outlets). The room was also unclean, with unacceptable sheet cleanliness, noticeable mold/mildew scent. I will not be staying at this property in the future until it has undergone a remodel.

Hotel is extremely dated and needs some serious upgrades. I had to change rooms twice due to a clogged shower and then an awful smell in the second room. Overall my stay was okay due to location and food. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom could’ve been cleaner.

Bathroom was not cleaned at all. Shower had lots of hair and residue around the inside. We had an issue with fridge not working, the blue eyed receptionist was very rude when we notified her. We’ve stayed plenty of times at this location this was the worst of them all.

When I arrived there was an issue with my reservation. Apparently someone within the Hotel had canceled my reservation. Expedia still had the two suites reserved. I had to be reserved in smaller rooms and then provided rollaway beds. It was not cost efficient. Food, water, snacks everything was very expensive and there was no amenities as indicated such as the pool. Certain staff was friendly; some had attitudes I had to ask for corporate number which I will be calling.

Everything was good but the entire hotel could use an update. Looked like the entrance got the update already but the rest of the hotel is waiting. Especially the bathrooms outdated. But they were Clean and everyone was very nice. Every hotel should be updated every 8-10 years.

Lamp didn't work. Coffee pot didn't work. Extension cords running across the wall because the outlet didn't work. Did not feel safe due to a brawl outside my door which required to police to be called and me to lay on the floor just in case there was a shooting. I will never stay here again

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Waldorf MD location. Upon arrival to the parking lot, you are greeted with large signs scattered everywhere with QR codes on them to scan with your phone so you can pay for the privilege of parking in the parking lot to the hotel that you are already paying to stay at. When you scan the QR code, you must agree to the lengthy privacy policy of what this 3rd party parking fee collection system is going to do with all your personal information before being allowed to pay the $10 per day fee to leave your car in the parking lot. When you go to the front desk you are reminded by the attendant that you must pay each day before dusk or your car will be ticketed. Don’t worry though, there is another QR code sign on the front desk just in case you missed all of the signs littered throughout the parking lot. This hotel is not in a congested major city area where there is no room, in fact, the parking lot of this hotel is huge, much larger than most hotel parking lots. Nothing was disclosed about this parking fee when I made my reservations. It’s just a shady way for the hotel to extort extra money out of its guests. I will not be staying here again!

Our first room had a malfunctioning thermostat; the young woman on front desk was excellent and tried to get it working and then moved us to a nearby room. The carpet was old and stained, and the desk was wobbly when I touched it. I also found some dried food on the side of the dresser. I have stayed here many times, but never again.

Our room showed its age a bit some rust on bathroom fixtures, and peeling bathroom wallpaper but it wasnt horrible. Entrance light to the room was burnt out. Everything else was fine and the restaurant was surprisingly good.

Hotel was very dated and dirty. The first room they gave me smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the carpet was filthy. The lobby looks nice, but as soon as step out of the elevator the halls are dirty and outdated and so are the rooms. Breakfast is very expensive and is the same breakfast most hotels give for free.

I need a refund they did not let me check in and told me their computer systems were down and I had to pay to stay some where else and they couldn’t even issue my refund. I spent 5 hours driving and was tired and irritated, this was an awful experience

I need a refund they did not let me check in and told me their computer systems were down and I had to pay to stay some where else and they couldn’t even issue my refund. I spent 5 hours driving and was tired and irritated, this was an awful experience

Oh and paying for parking in Waldorf.... I live in the area only went a night but to pay for parking in waldorf is crazy work .

Initially, once you walk in to the main entrance, it’s beautiful and clean but once you get upstairs to where the rooms are, the halls are dirty and the rooms are not up-to-date and not the cleanest.

The room was good. No phone for a wake-up call. Rooms don’t have alarm clocks. Never received any award points from Hilton. The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.

Hotel staff, especially the morning kitchen/bar staff, were friendly. The lobby was nice and clean. The rooms were comfortable but very dark even with all the lights on. The bathroom shower felt a bit closed in and just old - needs updating. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel for family visits but the lack of daily room service is highly disappointing. The prices of the rooms have increased but they have significantly cut back on room service at the customer's expense. We were made to pick up clean towels at the front desk as well. The local staff was nice. It seems like only corporate decisions are to blame.

Clean hotel and staff were super friendly and helpful. There are two downsides though. Breakfast is almost $20 a person. We have a family of 5 and it would have cost us $100 a day to eat breakfast. Im sorry, but that's a rip off! Plus it cost $10 a day to park in their parking lot.0 These two things were very disappointing and we will most likely not return for these two reasons

Me and my wife have stayed at this location many times in the past and loved our stays. But as of writing this review March 17. 2025 they’re now nickling and diming guest by charging $10 a day to park at this location. Previously parking was always free. Other than that the place is fine. But now having a new hidden cost to park is insane especially for a place that’s not secured by a parking attendant or an indoor garage.

We were disappointed about the pool being closed and our room had a terrible smell. Even after they cleaned our room, there was a mildew smell in there. The staff were fantastic and as accommodating as they could be.

The front desk employees were very kind and helpful, but it would be nice if the cleaning staff would actually clean. The carpets were absolutely disgusting, the rooms smelled like cigarettes, the bathrooms were gross, we had to catch the cleaning lady in the hall, so that she could hand us the cleaning products so we could clean our room ourselves. The money you pay doesn’t add up to the room you get.

One of the two Electric Vehicle charging station was not working the night we arrived and the second was occupied. Told the staff in the evening and followed up in the morning the next day. When we got back in the evening they had fixed the second EV charger, which was good because the other one was again occupied so we were able to charge our EV for our departure the next morning.

We stayed in room 225. The room needs a complete deep cleaning and face lift. There was hair on ceilingnin bathroom. Rust around light fixtures in the bathroom. Old shower. AC unit has dirt and debris. The hotel lobby is very nice but the rooms need to be upgraded ASAP. I took pictures in case anyone would like to see.

I stayed for a week. The pool was out of order which was a downer, that’s why I selected this place specifically. But front desk was pleasantly efficient. The lobby and the bar was a nice setting. I enjoyed sleeping here.

My room number was 325. I return back to my room after being with family. And my toilet ran all night long from 11:30 pm until I left at 7 am. I could not rest well and the I had to drive 4 hours to North Carolina. So my stay was not good.

I checked in super late but luckily had the Hilton app to get a digital key, because no one was at the front desk. I did not interact with any staff at all. The room was basic. It was not what I was used to but served its purpose for one night. The shower water could be hotter and overall cleaner. Other than that. My stay was ok.

I don’t know how this location has a 4 star rating, it’s deceptive from what it actually is- it’s equivalent of a LaQuina but just WAY more expensive. Like others have mentioned, the downstairs and outside look gorgeous but everything else is a 25+ years old. The rooms smell like smoke, HVAC units in the rooms haven’t been cleaned and caked with dust, you have black mold in the bathrooms, carpets have stains everywhere, broken blinds, broken ice container, pool has been out of service for years, bugs randomly. Front desk staff is nice and tries to fix things but they can only do so much, the owner needs to step in. It’s a shame to call this a Hilton - future guests, book at holiday inn express in La Plata, it’s a much better and cleaner hotel only 10mins away.
