easy location, fast service, room was quiet

Sticky floors in the elevators, dirty carpets in the hallways, musty and smelly rooms and hallways, breakfast unattended and not replenished at 10 am (Saturday), room not cleaned during two night stay - really disappointing and substandard. Not a recommendation!

I had to go to front desk to get more towels and garbage bags to clean my room. The front desk worker stated that they don’t like to clean unless you’re leaving. I asked at check In about towelsAnd cleaning and the front desk staff on June 2nd told me that they will have cleaning services available daily. This was my first time Selecting Hampton hotel! I don’t think I will select that hotel/ property when I return to Waldorf, Maryland. I will try another property when I return in August.

The bathroom was nice. It was dirty, the service was horrible. The pool was dirty and closed the entire 5 days of our stay.. The bed was like sleeping on a boxspring. Our room was never cleaned in 5 days of stay. We ran out of toilet paper and towels twice. When we called down for more towels we were told we had to come down to get them twice. When we asked for another blanket we were told they didnt have any extra. We asked the front desk for service on our room and they never came. Again and again this hotel was a disappointment.

Everything but one staff member. The front desk lady. Her name was Shana if that wasn’t her name then she was the one working Thursday night. She made my mother wait an hour and a half on a room she claimed wasn’t ready because it was only waiting on towels. I sat out in the lobby with my mom for an hour and a half with my little sitter and multiple cleaning staff were coming by telling her that multiple rooms were getting clean. She even checked in a couple while we were still sitting there. I asked her 3 different times if she could check it and it ended up leading to both of us getting loud. She then left for maybe 10 minutes and came up when someone else had to come complain about her not doing her job. She was very unprofessional and clearly was being petty for her own enjoyment. I was very discussed about the way she chose to talk to me and my mother. Mind you not even 5 minutes go by and one of the cleaning staff checked the room and said it was ready. So who knows how long the room was actually ready for before we could get my mom checked in. I would love to hear feedback about your solution.

I've only stays at Hampton. The breakfast on was not as much to chose from. Some of the chafing trays were empty. Most other facilities will have more variety of meats not just one.. Would like to use my AAA and bonus points instead of saying I got the best rate ever time I come there. I've been there approximately 4x this year.

It took an additional hour while we waited for the gentleman to get a manager on the phone. I had to pay for a more expensive room and was told it would be fixed in the morning. No staff knew of the issue the next morning, no manager ever came to the front and we had to be at a graduation and couldn’t wait. We ended up cutting our stay short as no more rooms were available and drive back to North Carolina that evening.

Everything was nice, and comfy and the staff was super sweet I left two pairs of shoes which I’ve never done before they could have definitely reached out and contacted me but nothing at all. And the tubs need a GOOD SCRUB

Clean decent breakfast and friendly staff. Good location in the same parking lot as Cracker Barrel which was nice.

Initially We were assigned to room 206. The room was clean and nice; however, the shower stall was a disaster. We noticed and phographed black mold at the bottom of one of the walls. The next day we informed the front desk. They apologized and promptly moved us to another room- 326. Unfortunately, the shower stall in room 326 also has a black mold issue, albeit not quite as obvious as room 206. The mold is located at the bottom of the stationary panel. Therefore, we did not see it right away. We photographed it and showed to the front desk.

Check-in is 4 o’clock checkout is 12 o’clock. The room was clean. They have a coffee bar and they have breakfast. On the weekends the breakfast ends at 10:00 am, the closer it gets to 10:00 they do not put extra food out. The breakfast includes like grits oatmeal meat eggs waffles among other things. There were people who came down for breakfast at like 945 and there was barely anything left, and they did not make more food.

Room was perfect. The front desk staff was great. The breakfast buffet had issues. The coffee ran out. Why should that happen? Some of the breakfast items ran out, such as the scrambled eggs. If someone was paying attention, that wouldn't have happened. There wasn't any spray for the waffle maker and the batter stuck to the appliance. Also, the one trashcan was overflowing. Really?!?

Room was stuffy , in the bathroom had a sewage pipe opening in the floor which made the bathroom smells horrible, it was an accessible room

I arrived to the property at 2:30. for an early check-in but was refused and told that check-in is 4:00p. I told her the my reservation was for 3:00p. She rudely told me that the hotel check-in is 4:00p and she didn't care about anything else.

The room was clean and very spacious. My kids enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning of our stay. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were okay, plumbing needs some work. the staff was okay, they weren’t rude, just young. Parking was cool, hotel was clean. The breakfast…. Terrible, appliances didn’t work, no real selection how they make it sound and look online. You’re better off going to a diner.

Treadmill broke and ice machine broke. No communication about room service, had to ask for towels and room cleaning Breakfast server spoke Spanish to her headset the entire time with no consideration for patrons. Lastly I found 3 small black bugs on the “clean” bed. Front desk apologized but no mention to compensate.

The service was on time, the breakfast variety was very good compared to some other hotels. The only issue I had was regarding how to regulate the heat. Overall it was a great location while visiting family for 75th birthday party 😁

Friendly check in staff. Room was clean. There was a dog constantly barking somewhere inside the hotel. Coffee in the lobby was not good both days we stayed there. Bathtub didn't drain when showering. I will stay here again because it was a central location and theres plenty of choices to restaurants.

The rooms were clean but unfortunately my heat was not working for a whole night. The maintenance man had to replace the unit while we were in the room laying in our beds. The tv remotes only worked if I at the dresser in front of the tv. Breakfast was good for what it was but I wish there were a non pork meat option. I know that's a specific dietary request but it would've been a nice touch. Management was not able to comp my first night of misery because I booked through Hotels.com

We didn’t eat breakfast at all and my boyfriend and I went to get breakfast from Starbucks, but I love the hotel because it is too close to our favorite restaurant and it is easy for us to walk to Starbucks and the staff are so so sweet and nice people. I would definitely go back again one day

Overall it was clean, staff was pleasant, and parking was good. I would have liked for there to have been more options other than pork for breakfast meat. For health reasons everyone cannot eat pork.

There were small bugs crawling on the mattress of the sofa bed. The rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. Stained tub floor. Sofa cushions and throw pillow filthy. We had to be placed in another room at 4am in pajamas after driving a far distance and celebrating with family. The front desk associate Lisa was very apologetic and helpful with fixing this issue. When I asked for a refund I was told “no” by the general manager. Completely unexceptionable. would not recommend.

Parking was arranged seamlessly. I opted to skip breakfast due to my special diet, but overall, my stay was enjoyable. The staff was attentive and genuinely helpful. My room was clean; however, my sister, who has a dog allergy, experienced sneezing throughout the night. It appears that a previous guest may have stayed in the room with a dog. I strongly recommend implementing a system for separate rooms for guests with pets. It's essential to inquire about pet ownership before check-in or to thoroughly clean the carpet after a pet-friendly stay.

Awesome stay at the Hampton Inn no complaints I have one concern when they printed out my receipt they have me listed as living at 10190 Covington Cross Road Las Vegas Nevada which is incorrect I am a Hilton honor member and that's giving wrong

The weirdest thing I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The lobby bathroom had a shared toilet paper holder in between the two stalls. You could see right thru to the toilet next to you. Also the AC in common areas didn’t work. The elevator and hallways were brutally hot

Perfect location for our stay. We had several shops in walking distance which gave us a nice chance to get some fresh air without driving. It was quiet and breakfast was great!

My stay was great! The room was real nice and i appreciate walking in and seeing my name on the tv that was dope. The bed was very comfy. The only slight issue was the water pressure in the sink being very slight but other than that it was lovely. The free breakfast was great too.

Upon checking in at 4:00 our room was not ready. After some time we took a lesser room. The following morning housekeeping was knocking on our door, followed by a phone call by the front desk and finally another knock on the door. The lady stated no one was supposed to be in that room. Very rudely. Last time staying here! Will spend my money elsewhere

The room was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable. The location was convenient to shopping and restaurants. The clerk who checked me in was friendly and professional. The lady during check-out seemed disinterested like she didnt want to be there.

The AC unit made a loud noise that kept us up. When I called the front desk he said he didn’t have anyone on site to check it but give him a second and he would call back - he never called back. Then the next morning the toilet wouldn’t flush

Close to places to visit and shop

We took our pups and they were very accommodating. The only downside, some dog owners did not scoop the poop. We had to maneuver an obstacle course when walking our pups. And yes, we picked up after them. Bags are provided, if needed. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodating and welcoming engagement of staff and management is wonderful. The rooms are always impeccably clean with no signs of wear/tear with their towels, carpets, or linens. The layout is cozy, but not restrictive or "close" - very comfortable for a couple. One of my favorite places to go for a quick local getaway break or quiet 2-3 day rest. Always excellent.

The property is nice. Very quiet, free parking and very nice staff. The only take away was there was no vending machine on my floor. When i needed water in the middle of the night i had to go down to the front desk area. Althought it was quick and painless. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Everything was great. The staff was very accommodating. The room door stopped working on my first night, so I was stranded in the lobby for a couple of hours while they fixed it. It was an inconvenience, but nothing anyone could control. However, the staff was so thorough and caring that I have to give them credit for tackling the issue with excellent customer service.

I liked having a good restaurant next door. I didn't like carpet on the floor. A handicapped room is better with a hard type of floor (and feels cleaner).

We traveled with 2 dogs. Accommodation was good. The ironing board legs were bent which made it hard to iron. We accidentally left some items in the room. Our daughter called and was able to retrive them. Our room was located over the main entrance. Sunday service music was a bit louder but at least it didn't last long.

Only thing I did not enjoy was that our room never cooled off. It was hot and I do not think our refrigerator worked. Drinks did not cool and food spoiled after one night. Other than that it was a really good stay. The staff was definitely A1. From the front desk to housekeeping to the kitchen staff to whomever. They were ALL very friendly. It’s in a great location and walkable. I definitely recommend this establishment.

Easy and good for a quick stay! Nice rooms and bathroom!

We were disappointed when we arrived and went to our room to find we were given a double Queen room instead of the king room that we had booked. I returned to the front desk and was told that 19 of their king rooms were out of service because of problems.

I paid for two nights but hotel.com only sent an invoice for 1 night. I want to get a refund for one night. I had to pay for 1 night separately.

The property is well kept and modern, the room was super clean and the property was clean overall, the staff is very friendly, housekeeping was efficient, there’s a lot of parking and it was nice that it was free, near a lot of stores and restaurants, property is isolated so it’s quiet when it’s time to sleep, breakfast buffet was excellent, I was able to use the business center and able to print, wifi is strong when I had an important exam, most importantly the AC was working great the whole time and was very strong. 10/10 recommend this place

My stay was cut short because the front desk messed up my reservation. I had three nights paid for and the night clerk canceled my third night. They couldn’t answer or explained what happened but wanted me to pay another night stay. I refused because it was no fault of my own. They played the blame game instead of solving the real problem. I couldn’t get a receipt at first but I got one with my name on it and someone else address on it with my room number and credit card number. When I informed them of a leaking ac unit they knew about. Beds were comfortable. Nice updated room.

The hotel was very nice. I did have trouble getting the internet to work. We travel a lot and we always bring our roku it would not connect

Everyone was very friendly. Always a smile and saying good morning. When the fridge broke, they were real quick to bring a new one.
