Very clean, quiet and resourceful. It has lots of convenient stores right at your fingertips. Parking spaces are limited.

Everything was good. The only problem was that we couldn't use our AAA discount. The suite was clean comfortable and relaxing!!
- 5/5
I was traveling with my two 40 lb dogs and the room had a lovely kitchenette which allowed me to prepare my meals along with the dogs. I travel with a Husky sized crate which fit easily between the kitchen cabinet and desk with plenty of room. The walk-in shower allowed me to place the dogs water bowl there which kept the floors dribble free. The kitchen had basic utensils and pans for quick meals.
- 5/5
Very large room with kitchen and a full size refrigerator. Large TV. Very nice glass shower. Dunkin Donuts and Zaxby’s walking distance away. There is also a DQs, a Mediterranean restaurant, Home Depot, Krispy Kreme, Chipotle, Goodberry’s Ice Cream with outdoor seating with a water feature. Firehouse Subs, Marco’s pizza, Chic Filet and other shops within a 8 minute drive. Very near Capital Boulevard.

We had a family emergency the night we were supposed to check in. The last thing on my mind was my reservation when my child was sick. We ended up going on the trip the next day. Get to the hotel and find out they cancelled our reservation without emailing, calling or anything to let us know AND they charged us the full amount for the three stay that they cancelled even though we came a day late. They had us rebook while standing there. I’ve been in contact twice trying and get a refunded since we DID stay. Nobody at this place answers the damn phone.
- 5/5
It was clean, well maintained and spacious. I have no complaints about my stay.

If we weren’t so tired we would have turned around and left. Someone had vomited outside the front door (clearly hours prior), the trash was overflowing, elevator and lobby floor were filthy. Room was fine, clean bathroom. Overall a solid D. Too many other hotels around to deal with this.
- 3/5
I initially booked through expedia for the wrong dates and immediately contacted them to make a change. Expedia told me they tried reaching the hotel multiple times but received no response and as a result i was still charged for the first night as a cancelation fee. This was disappointing. During our stay, there were 4 of us in one room and we needed clean towels the next day(like everyday). When we asked housekeeping, the employee told us our room wasn't scheduled for service until day 3 and was quite rude about it. We ended up having to go down to the lobby ourselves to request clean towels. On top of thay we checked out midweek when the hotel was nearly empty and requested a late checkout but it was denied. The explanation given was that it was because we booked through Expedia, whixh felt unreasonable. Overall the experience was disappointing and we will not choose to stay here again.

- 4/5
The hotel room was very very clean… equipped with an electric stove…. Full size refrigerator and freezer utensils….plates…. Bowls and salt pepper.
- 1/5
Staff at this location are immature and not capable of dealing with hiccups in reservations. What was no big deal was turned into a mocking session with someone who has a disability, which in turn escalated the issue. What manager and staff laugh at a guest who is struggling? Wipe those grins off because it’s unprofessional and useless. A fine line between discrimination and rude behavior. Do better.
- 4/5
A little dated and the walls were pretty thin. Otherwise, it was a nice property close to a lot of stuff.
- 5/5

This was the loudest hotel ive ever stayed at. I was annoyed the entire stay

Yes
- 4/5
We were there for a conference. The elevator was out and the manager accommodated us with a first floor room since my husband couldn’t do stairs.
- 2/5
The elevator was broken the 3 days I was there and I was staying in the fourth floor
- 5/5
Very clean. Nice big room with a full kitchen and cooking utensils, bowls, plates, silverware and a mid-size fridge.
- 3/5
Elevator was down the entire stay, rooms were clean and spacious. Front desk at check in was immature and needed better customer service skills. Manager was kind and apologetic about our experience. Overall not bad just needs some improvement. We travel a lot with our kids activities and we would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Very nice room, but.the elevator wasn’t working. I got the rmail but thought it would be fixed by the time my trip came up. Electrical outlet in bathroom was loose and I had to pile things on the cord to make the connection work.
- 4/5
Nice room, a bit larger than a lot of hotel rooms. And client service was friendly and excellent.
- 2/5
The elevator was broken . At our age and being on the 2nd floor, this was difficult.
- 4/5
Riom was great, that's why we chose it for the 2nd time this month. The elevator always seems to be broken, though. It was broken then fixed last time & then broken again this time (wasn't fixed by the time we left).
- 5/5
Bueno las puerta estaba rotas
- 3/5
Elevator could have worked, they should stop advertising free breakfast. 3 of the 4 staff members we encountered were pleasant. The dark haired lady working the front desk, not as much.
- 5/5
Very attentive staff, and pleasant
- 5/5
The rooms were so clean, I'm very picky.

Had a nice stay at Candlewood. A couple of small snafus, but they worked out. It was clean, convenient and not to far out from my family. Kitchen was nice. Shopping and restaurants close by. The housekeeping staff was excellent! Overall it was a nice stay!
- 5/5
Yes everything was perfect no complaints
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great place to stay, clean, comfortable and will be back
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with good water temp. A single long hair found in our towels but forgivable. Staff always helpful and friendly. Parking lot on a hill with no good drop off zone for luggage, but ok. Good location close to downtown Wake Forest (try the plant based dessert shop!)

I turned the bathroom light on. There was a roach running across the bathroom floor. I get home an unpacked my bags. There was a roach in my makeup bag. This is unacceptable.
- 5/5
Convenient location. The room was very spacious. Complimentary washer and dryer. A big plus!!
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet. We were very pleased.

- 5/5
My overall stay was great. Will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Was disappointed their was no included breakfast and only one option within walking distance.
- 5/5
it was the cleanest most modern room i have used in a long time
- 4/5
We loved the location and property was in great shape. Check in was an unexpected adventure. We checked in at 3:30 and the room was ready. We put some of our belongings in the room and left to go see family we were there to visit and when we arrived back that night our room keys didn’t work. We were quite surprised to find that they had given away the room to someone else who had complained about their room and removed our belongings without notifying us. We were able to secure another room there for the night but it was not a smooth transition. Staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized.
- 5/5
Just flew in for a couple days. Needed to print online temporary license after realizing I didn’t have license on me. Front desk was pleasant and worked to print it for me so I was legal. So appreciative! Great courteous. Service

Great Room
- 4/5
Really nice hotel, friendly staff
- 4/5
I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested and would be traveling and need a place to stay.
- 5/5
I like that check out time is noon. Also the main doors are locked after 8pm. You have to be a guest with a room key to enter the building
- 5/5
Literally the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far
- 5/5
Very good for the price
- 5/5
Very nice property! Clean and comfortable.

- 5/5
A few receptacles in the room and bathroom were not working but other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
Very pleasant
- 2/5
The staff acts extremely put out when you make a reasonable request. The rooms are often lacking the promised amenities like a toasters or a coffee makers spatula, etc.
- 2/5
The front desk personnel will hardly lift a finger and act as if they are being asked a great favor, rather than enthusiastically granting a guests simple request. On one trip there was no toaster or coffee maker in the room, and this last trip I had to beg for two days for a toaster. It’s a residence type hotel but there is no table in the room. You are provided with two forks, two spoons, two butter knives, no spatula, no scouring pads, no cover for the frying pan, and in almost every room I’ve stayed in, faulty outlets force you to make toast in the bathroom, or plugged into a lamp. The luggage carts are old and broken and there are only two of them. In the three years I’ve been visiting this hotel four times a year, they have never bothered to create or provide a channel guide for the cable tv service they use. If you want to find CNN or TBS, you have to flip through 200 channels waiting for the digital cable system to change channels, then sitting through commercials until you can figure out what channel you are watching. I’ve mentioned this to the desk people for years but apparently nobody thinks it’s a worthy consideration for the guests. The cost of the rooms are now overpriced on the weekends, you would do much better at the hotel across the street at this point. Or the the Clarion around the corner.
- 5/5
We had a quick trip to Wake Forest NC with our grandson . We booked a 1 bedroom suite that was perfect for our needs. Clean well equipped. We would definitely book again.
- 5/5
Loved the fact how it had a stove and fridge . The room was very clean and the staff we encouraged super friendly.
- 5/5
I like the kitchen amenities
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and kind. Only gripe was the people above sounded like a heard of elephants at night time.
- 5/5
The place was nice, clean, convenient, and we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
they were very kind and helpful
- 5/5
Great hotel for the price
- 5/5
everything was lovely
- 4/5
Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and AC noise not obtrusive. Overall, a good value. Will stay at this property again in the future.
- 5/5
Just an o ernight stay. Didn't get to wander.
- 4/5
Front desk was very unorganized. They seemed to have booked rooms before arrivals. If you came earlier than your room was ready they gave you someone else’s room. They were confused. We even went to our room and they called the room for us to come back down as they gave us a room that was paid for. Then when we went back to lobby they apologized and said they’d just give them another room when they show up.
- 5/5
Great service! Only complaint was the loose electrical outlets in the bathroom
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Nice service and clean room.
- 5/5
Has 4 Tesla EV chargers. 👍
- 5/5
The only thing I can say I didn’t enjoy was parking availability the lot was pretty crowded and it’s a small lot other than that it was amazing!
- 5/5
Our room was spotless and laid out very well!! The small kitchenette was wonderful. We only stayed one might but a multi night stay would be ideal.
- 5/5
The room was spotless! I love the layout with a small stove, fridge, microwave! There were no provisions for morning coffee but a Starbucks is 3 minutes away! This would be an ideal multi day stay!!
- 2/5
I was told by the front desk 3 different prices and neither one was correct and they froze my card from they different transaction from the hotel
- 2/5
bed and pillows were very good. I stayed 4 days and the room was never cleaned, the bed was never made, no ice available AT ALL, the kitchenette had one spoon, one fork and a couple of spatulas
- 5/5
Was there for a funeral
- 4/5
The hotel staff (Tory) was very nice and helpful. She appeared to be the only staff there most of the time. The hotel was in the process of renovation. The room appeared to be done, but the lobby was under construction. I wish Hotels.com had mentioned this. It resulted in several amenities being unavailable. However on the upside, the room was very fresh and beautifully clean. One or two things had not been installed correctly and I hope they check the rooms (I did report, i.e. the dead bolt didn’t work). Really, the main flaw was that they did not provide a coffee maker (?!) or coffee supplies. It had a stove top and pan which worked in a pinch. The Walgreens next door had coffee etc. but it would have been much nicer to have a coffe maker. Overall, the service and cleanliness made it a comfortable stay.
- 2/5
Very upset with the stay want to actually speak with management. There was no lobby to sit in, no breakfast because they are undergoing maintenance but this was never stated anywhere. Someone actually walked into my son and Is room and he was very scared. My room was so hotel did not cool some till 3am
- 1/5
It seemed nice, until we woke up to use the restroom and found roaches.
- 1/5
There were roaches in the suite we booked and we refused to stay in the room. We were subsequently downgraded to another standard room. It was a horrible experience and I believe that we should be fully refunded. I also am now beginning to believe that hotels secure reviews that are more favorable than factual. Beware.
- 4/5
Very clean, rooms well stocked, staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Should have had coffee tea cream sugar salt pepper
- 4/5
The front desks clerks were polite and helpful. I loved the bathroom- complete with a night light and foot bar for shaving legs!
- 5/5
The room and especially the bathroom were very clean. The girl at the front desk was friendly with good customer service.
- 4/5
Our room was newly renovated and very nice and comfortable. The hotel is undergoing renovations which limited the services such as breakfast accommodation. I believe once it’s completed everything will be nice.
- 3/5
It was a decent location. Construction was taking place in and outside the building. So the elevator was not working. We had to take all of our bags and dogs upstairs via the stairs. (We were on the 4th floor).
- 1/5
I checked in and was assigned a room with no TV. Furthermore, hotel staff did not advise of this situation and would not assign me to a different room. I immediately checked out of the hotel without reimbursement. This is the worst hotel I've ever had after many years of traveling internationally and across the U.S. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel.
- 5/5
From check in on our stay was pleasant, staff was friendly, clean updated rooms, walkable to stores such as Target and Walgreens, and plenty of food options. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff. Clean well maintained room with plenty of jacks for remaining connected.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice, room beautiful. However, I was charged a “damage fee” for marking up the pillows and sheets with purple dye an oil! I was offended and disturbed, the maids tried to accuse me that I’d done that. I had no products that had any oil or purple chemicals! Hopefully they refund me my $ as they eventually concluded.
- 2/5
The maid walked in on me naked while I was there. No shower curtain in the bathroom, no Tv even though it was advertised. Would not return.
- 4/5
I would recommend 2-ply toilet paper more consistent with the place which is very nice and updated. Staff were very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
Great, newly renovated room! Nice staff.
- 1/5
Hotels.com really proved to be a poor service.
- 4/5
Staff was attentive
- 3/5
Construction going on, debris in front foyer, still there next day. No coffee pot in room or hair dryer in room. Won’t be back!
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Had a gym
- 5/5
It would have been nice to have a hair dryer in the room and better coffee and creamer in your snack area. The room and staff were great!
- 5/5
The room had no hot water. They moved us to another room still no hot water. We g as be up after 24 hours and moved to a different hotel ! Hassled at desk …. Etc.
- 5/5
My family and I have had to book an extended stay due to sudden unfortunate issues with our residence. The hotel is extremely well maintained, and despite current renovations the construction did not disturb us in any way. The cleaning staff is always happy to help you with anything you need. They are always happy and smiling. The staff at the front desk is exceptional. Always available to answer any questions or concerns. Parking is easy and I have always been able to find a spot, even on the weekends when it gets busy. The location is great with plenty of nearby grocery stores and restaurants. There are even big box stores within walking distance. A Walgreens store is located in the adjacent parking lot as well as a 24hr gas station. Free laundry is available and the machines are well maintained. The gym is spacious and quiet. The rooms are great. Comfortable beds, great pillows, plenty of space. Very large shower, and plenty of hot water. The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishware, flatware, and regular sized appliances. Including a dishwasher! ***The customer service manager, Morgan, was extremely helpful with the resolution of a billing error that accidentally occurred. She was attentive, kind, and very professional. The general manager, Fernando, was amazing as well. Rarely do you get to speak to a GM when there is an issue, but Fernando always made himself available. He personally assisted us often.
- 1/5
I need to talk you guys, they didn't have the double queen bed I paid you guys for. I need a refund. I will take further Action!!!!
- 4/5
My stay was very nice. The staf was nice and my room was very clean and comfortably. The only issue I had was check-in. They told us check-in was at three when I got there my room was not ready and I ened up having to wait in the lobby till about 4:00. They did give my family and I a free beverage while we waited.
- 4/5
Nice place and amenities
- 3/5
No pool. No breakfast. Active construction.
- 5/5
I traveled with my dogs and they were good with them too. Only thing I’d change is having a bit more green space for walking them, but given the location it was sufficient.
- 2/5
The hotel is being renovated they have major hot water issues. Me and my wife could not get a hot shower sundae morning. No could we get one Saturday night? This is way too much money spent tonot to be able to have a hot shower.. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows as well. I myself had a very difficult time sleeping
- 4/5
Great location, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was lovely
- 5/5
Second time I have stayed here Suites were completely renovated very nice and clean reasonable price
- 5/5
I like the staying
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Completely redone suites very nice comfortable affordable
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by this property and my experience. I tend to strictly stay at another large hotel chain but after a negative experience elsewhere, I gave Candlewood Suites a try. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly. Will definitely recommend and stay here again!
- 4/5
convenient and quite very clean the coffee was really bad
- 1/5
The hotel is a dump! Our room had no blow dryer, they said they were on back order, really?? The front desk employees could not have been any ruder! No ice machines in the hotel. Would not recommend to anyone for the price!
- 5/5
From the moment I checked in the customer service was impeccable. The room was very clean
- 3/5
The hotel looked newly renovated, everything was very clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
We had no idea that renovating and the noise level was beyond in acceptable. Actually, the walls were thin so that we could hear the smallest bump next door. There was no sugar for the free coffee and no kids for the cups. The saving grace was the wonderfully sweet and pleasant staff.
- 3/5
1) They check in clerk was very friendly, however, the way the desk was set up, she was located behind a 3/4 high wall about 10 feet away from the counter being where she could be located, only seeing her eyes from there. The check in was delayed. I was told there was a problem with the reservation but it was worked out. Total wait time was 20 minutes after standing in line for 10 minutes with 1 person ahead of me. 2) The room It was clean and I enjoyed having a kitchenette with a real freezer with ice! I was cold in the middle of the night and the thermostat didn’t work but I hadn’t noticed the heater against the wall like they used to be. The elevator broke right before I was to carry in my belongings!! I am just a girl in her 50’s. Ugh… Fortunately I was only on the 2nd floor. b) The shower was approximately 75 degrees, however again, that’s because I, and probably most, didn’t know how the water faucet worked. I turn the handle all the way hot, then turn it down based on how hot it is but this faucet, it gets hot by twisting very little then gets colder the more you turn it. 3) Service called at 8:00am, when most might be awake already to tell me construction would begin working and not be alarmed with hammering and such. The phone however, was not beside the bed and I was still asleep, it was across the room. It seems as if they could have notified us that information upon check in. 4) The price was very reasonably priced for the rating it had at 4.5/5.
- 4/5
Parking was not convenient, not enough parking places. Lower level parking has no convenient exit.
- 5/5
Was an absolutely fantastic hotel and I will be staying again.
- 4/5
Lastly, I wish that hotel bathrooms in general would acquire toilets with a proper ratio of seat height to water level. You wouldn't tolerate that "surprise" in your home, so why do that to paying customers? It's an industry-wide phenomenon/practice. Overall, it really is a ver nice hotel though.
- 4/5
Would stay again
- 3/5
The property was under construction but, didn't really interfere with the stay, just the aesthetics thru it off a little.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean updated room, pet friendly. Good value, too.
