Bathroom is very clean and updated, the shower head pressure wasn't phenomenal. Very short walk to the beach which was great! Would stay again.

It was not a bad place to stay at all. Only complaint is the parking you have to pay for not included in your room that you don’t find out about until your arrival and the parking lot is awful. There is no room to park and very hard to get in and out of the very small parking two-story garage.

Room was good, better than a normal motel, pretty clean but the couch was a little dirty. Breakfast was ok, standard free hotel breakfast. Staff was nice and helpful, parking was a little cramped but not too much. Biggest drawback is that it’s next to the street, sound of every truck and car and partying person was heard inside, could not sleep until late.

We ran into an AC problem but the staff was right on top of getting the problem resolved. Because it was late at night they were willing to move us to another room or get the AC fixed first thing in the morning. We chose to stay in the room they brought us a fan and towels because the unit was also leaking water. We were even told that any time we can change rooms if the room became hot for us. The next morning maintenance came and fixed the AC unit. Can’t say anything negative about this property nor about the staff.

Very nice, clean, and spacious room. Loved the bathroom. The mirrors had excellent lighting for applying make up. Microwave was excellent and heated up quickly. Very convenient to the beach. Love the scenary and the fact that you could see the board walk. Excellent price for the time of the year. Parking was tricky for large vehicles.

The rooms were very basic. There were only a coffee table, sofa bed, TV, and desk. There was no character to the rooms. We were also informed that we had to make a request maid service during our stay.

Nothing. Check in took 30 mins just for myself which the booking was already made so I don’t know what the lady was doing on the computer ?? Also they only allow one car for parking and there’s no parking near by unless you want to pay per hour at the garage next door. My friend had a baby and she ended up going home because she had no where to park. There was extra parking available but they won’t sell the spaces. The beds are uncomfortable. Couch is very uncomfortable and the shower is very small and couldn’t even get the sand off myself. There was caution tape wrapped all around outside my door even though there was nothing there ? Also they closed the elevator on a busy day just to paint the ground by the elevator. So if you had beach items to carry the stairs were the only option. Arguing and fighting outside my door at night from another guest.

Also you have to pay $10 for parking on top off $175 for 1 night, plus pay a $50 deposit on top of that. It’s an old motel. There was never anyone at the front desk any time we went into the lobby. When we first arrived, there was a signed saying they were assisting other guest and would return shortly. And listed a phone # to call for assistance. I did & told them we were needing to check in. Had to wait for someone to come check us in. Then again the next morning when we were trying to check out- came down stairs to an empty lobby. Same deal- tried to call the phone # to let them know we need to check out. This time no one answered. Someone finally came. We’ve stayed in Nicer hotels at the beach for less money than this one.

The breakfast was very well maintained, with cleanliness observed and foods such as eggs regularly replenished. The location was great, just a block from the lovely boardwalk. The room fridge took some time to sufficiently cool down when we first arrived.

Check in/out was easy. Staff was helpful, kind, professional and courteous. Very close to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and other stores. Parking was an issue. The parking garage was not big enough for our larger vehicle and the spaces out front were very tight as well. Our truck had vomit on it in the morning and some guests were loud, drunk, high (some areas smelled like weed) and obnoxious. Breakfast was ok. We did not use any other amenities. If we had been in a medium to small vehicle and management could have found a way to reign in the inappropriate actions of some guests (I know that is very difficult) there would have been no complaints.

Neither their website nor Booking.com indicated that there would be a charge for parking. In fact, their website indicated that there would be "Free" self parking. However, a charge was made to my credit card without my consent for parking after I had checked out. I reached out to them and they refuse to reverse it.

When I called Expedia customer service, they didn't seem to care at all that both times my charges were close to $100 more than they "GUARANTEED" their pricing. Absolutely nothing was offered to me from Expedia for them completely scamming me TWICE! I will be making a complaint with the BBB against Expedia for false advertisement. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO EXPEDIA'S little pop up box quote saying" what you see is what it is! each time it has been different price for me at checkout. Expedia took away my choice for me. I will be returning to Hotwire and should have never left! I've used Hotwire for over 15 years and was ALWAYS SATISFIED, NO HIDDEN FEES, NO GIMMICKS! I listened to a friend about Expedia and I'm PISSED to say the least🎯 they lack in customer service , lady simply went silent on me, she had nothing to say, and when she did respond after I said hello, she said yes ma'am sometimes they have other fees, I said well how can you advertise as the TOTAL FEE then! and not expect customers to be upset over close to $100 extra this day in age without informing us!! We paid for a 2 bed and sofa bed and the sofa bed mattress was covered in stains that looked like poop, blood, and mold. I couldn't use that bed so my family had to sleep on the floor. I told the staff and wanted a partial refund and she gave me such an attitude and complained about being tired.

It was an easy convenient check in and the room was very clean and actually larger than expected. The daily parking fee was unexpected and should just be included as part of the room but there was no issue with it.

The exteriot was very dated with equipment in a hallway, the elevator was the slowest Ive ever seen. The breakfast didnt offer enough option gor hot food it was just eggs and plain. Fromt desk was very nice though. The owners also live on the property which ismt very common.

I was charged for parking, along with several people that check in before and probably everyone that didn’t pay attention to the sign on the front desk that says parking is FREE. I book through Expedia which also said free parking, their website said free parking and the sign on the desk said free parking. Also I was advised about the 10-15 min parking spaces in front of my room for loading/unloading and to park in the garage. No problem, however there were cars parked in front of my room all night. Manager/owner ripping people off and delivering poor service! The checkout lady argued with me about parking when they have a sign on their desk facing you as you’re checking in that says FREE parking. I flipped it around and showed her. How much money have you made off your false advertisement!!

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern, and comfortable the room was. The place looks a bit run down from the outside, but the room was fine! The bed was comfortable, sheets and comforter were clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the floor and table surfaces were clean. Really conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and 7-11. The road is really noisy (even at night) and the curtains don't entirely block out all the light, so those were some drawbacks.

I was traveling from Florida for my nephews Navy graduation. Front desk lady (morning/day shift) is not too pleasant to deal with. On day two (out of 5) we requested to change our room due to poor heating unit. The heater was not warming up the room enough and I was traveling with two small children. Also, after a while the heater was just blowing cold air. We were given another room but it was even worse and it smelled like a smoking room so we stayed in the original room. I was traveling with two children and they both go sick during our stay. I was told by the day shift lady to put a towel by the door but the cold air was coming in from the bottom and side of the door. It was so bad that when it started snowing the snow was coming in through the cracks because it was also windy. I had to take my 2 y/o to an urgent care the next day because his symptoms got worse. I don’t see an option to add photos or videos but I wish I could just to prove I am not exaggerating. The night shift ladies were great. One of them even offered “fluffy” blankets that they had in the back but why was that not offered to begin with by the morning shift lady? And talking about blankets, the beds comforter had HOLES.

My check in service was smooth, the guest service ladies were great. My view was decent. Breakfast ending at 9am on the weekend I thought was extremely too early, therefore we missed breakfast. I myself work for Marriott hotels and at least we give out guests until 10am. My room was clean for the most part, however there wasn’t even a phone in there to contact the front desk. We were not bothered by any noise or noisy neighbors so that was a plus. Just the smell and coughing of other guests smoking marijuana was bothersome. I was a little upset being from out of state, not getting in until late at night and requesting a 1pm on a Saturday morning check out, I was denied.

My check in service was smooth, the guest service ladies were great. My view was decent. Breakfast ending at 9am on the weekend I thought was extremely too early, therefore we missed breakfast. I myself work for Marriott hotels and at least we give out guests until 10am. My room was clean for the most part, however there wasn’t even a phone in there to contact the front desk. We were not bothered by any noise or noisy neighbors so that was a plus. Just the smell and coughing of other guests smoking marijuana was bothersome. Lena and Nathan's service was phenomenal. I spent many years eployed at a Forbes Five Star rated property, Lena in particular was easily this level of service. I was shocked to experience customer service of this caliber here. If I return, it will be for the service in particular- I found the facilities fine but lacking in a few ways.

The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. The room and everything about it was exceptional. I proposed to my girlfriend from the balcony view and it was magical.

This woke me up, sending goosebumps of fright up my spine. Apparently one of the rooms on the 6th floor partied all night long. 4. I did not eat the breakfast. Options were limited and quality looked average. 5. My car was dripped on in its parking spot leaving a dirty residue. Underneath the car was a puddle. 6. The notebook describing the room etc was filthy inside and out, and needs to be replaced. I felt like I had to wash my hands after touching it. 7. The bed and bedding were comfortable and clean. 8. The air conditioner worked well and was not too noisy. 9. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. 10. I liked the policy that the staff would not go into the room to clean it unless a specific request was made. 11. The smell of the room was OK. 12. The mini-fridge did not have a mini-freezer. It should.

The place had an 8.4 rating on Hotels.com and the price was good so we tried it. Staff was excellent but the area around the place was sketchy. Staff agreed to refund three nights without any issue so we moved to beachfront.

Room was great, pool was located on same floor and breakfast bar was limited. Walked to everything and a block away from the ocean.

Rooms were clean but damp. AC wasn’t great but for the amount of time spent in the room it was ok. Staff were super helpful and considerate. Beaches within walking distance but would reccomend a wagon if your gonna stay a while. There was a car horn that kept going off and was quite annoying. The jets were super loud but that isn’t the hotel fault.

Front desk staff - one couldn't speak English and didn't know what she was doing. Couldn't explain charges on bill. The other lady, maybe the manager, was rude in multiple interactions. Property was shabby. Bathrooms tiny. Showers leaked. Generally dirty.

I normally stay at 4 star and above properties but have nothing but good things to say about my stay here! Staff were pleasant and informative, rooms were very clean and renovated, onsite parking with plenty of spaces, quiet area and my room was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was good, the front desk staff went above and beyond, the breakfast area was good and typical hotel breakfast, what I didn't like is the beds were sand on the sheets so housekeeping was not doing their job properly, otherwise the hotel is a walking distance to the beach, kids and I enjoyed the stay.

AC was loud could not sleep and next door room was very loud. Payed for 2 days stayed one day. Staff was very nice.

The rooms are very clean! Shower pressure was rubbish, but everything was clean and that was a minor inconvenience. Parking was also a little tricky for anything larger than a compact vehicle. I will def stay here again.

Staff was amazing, very polite, and helpful; the hotel is pretty close to the beach and the boardwalk so it's easily walkable; no issues with parking; kids enjoyed the pool and that we have two TVs in the room, so they didn't fight for the remote. Great experience! I will come back, definitely.

Great location with exceptionally clean rooms! The hotel exterior can use some loving care and the free coffee in the lobby should be hot, not warm. All in all, great price for location.

I thought this was a hotel!! It had great ratings but I didn’t do my due diligence to confirm everything. It was a motel and the exterior was run down and definitely not what o thought I was booking! The room Was clean but old. Textured walls old colors, baseboards pealing off. Cable was shotty. One elevator that was very slow. Neighborhood was questionable.

So much commotion + chaos going on at the hotel so I slept in my truck. The room felt stuffy & humid. I hate to leave negative reviews but I'm an honest person.

The staff were so kind and accommodating! I can’t say enough about how nice they were. The room itself was fine but the shower was dirty and the water pressure hardly existent. The pool was a little dirty, some bugs and hair presented and this was 5 minutes after it opened. Again, the staff was amazing.

A bargain hotel if want to save money bit be by the beach. The room was ok but the property is in major need of renovation. Looks a little sketchy but was convenient to all amenities. Staff was also great!

The free breakfast is simple but good. The pool is awesome too; my son enjoyed it. The room is clean which is amazing. Everybody else wants beach view but to walk a little to go to the beach is something I enjoyed.

The door needed to be pulled really hard for it to shut, the furniture has mystery stains on it, there are scrape marks on the wall, the corners have that dirt buildup that accumulates over the course of years.

The room was not as expected. The pictures looked enhanced and looked so much bigger and nicer than the actual room. I also did not get any free water bottle and the snack box as stated in the description. I was really hoping the room was a lot nicer. Water pressure is also not strong especially in the shower.

Breakfast area is tiny and gets very cramped. The variety is alright. Parking garage was confusing and tight but also fine. Rooms were clean enough although could definitely be better as the bathroom looked like it was only barely surfaced cleaned. My biggest complaint was that they allowed two cans of contract workers who I assume might have been staying there shower from afternoon till wee hours were blaring music and drinking beer in the parking lot right below our room. I definitely didn't feel safe walking around the corner leading to a side street with my kids. Positives were that the beds were pretty comfortable with the exception of the sleeper sofa that was just springs and the staff was nice at the front desk. Location is good since it's a short walk to the beach, food, and shopping.

Looks like the renovated recently. Not a bad stay. Breakfast is a solid 3/5 it’s free but there are some restaurants near by that are good! Close to beach. If you’re looking for convenience this is the place.

When I stayed there the first time it cost half the amount in the room is twice as nice. I thought I would upgrade to a suite because we had three adults going in the room that we stayed in. That was a so-called sweet was terrible and the sign on the building I could hear inside the room all night long And the AC would not cool the room down and it was not a suite it was a studio.

I had rental car problems the day of check in. I was not sure how long it was going to take us to resolve the issue. I called the Hotel,told whoever I spoke to my issue,told them we wont get there until after midnight. This person did care to tell us that after 3am we cldnt check in. We get to the Hotel and unfortunately they had canceled our reservation as a "No show". They also claimed they cld not see the record of the call to them even though they cld see it on my phone.I called that same number right there and they answered the call. The Manager Lena or Rena..claimed I was lying that I had called.She said their phone records cld not show the call log from the previous day at 7p,even though the gentleman who I talked to first said the call log was not showing my number but other person's number. She was not helpful at all and within 3-5 minutes of talking to her she told me to leave the premises. I had driven 10 hrs to this hotel,needless to say i had to spend another 1400 dollars to book another hotel. The manage r said to me,I could always go book another hotel. I felt disrespected they did not acknowledge I called and lied about the call log.

Location is very close to the beach and restaurants. Parking is onsite. Only one elevator. They did not regularly clean your room unless you requested. The breakfast area is small but offers hot food options. The room itself was very clean but you could hear a lot of noise at night. The ice machine woke me up multiple times throughout the week and the pool is noisy until it closes. The shower curtains do not go all the way to the floor, so you will have a pool of water all over the bathroom everytime you shower. Overall it does the job and the staff is very friendly and attentive

Dont ever stay at this place terrible rooms, beds, terrible staff, tiny bathrooms, breakfast is offered but was awful no air conditioning in dining hall so was super hot and humid, in room air barely worked we were all super hot, and the rate was $401 per night way to pricey for this awful hotel.

Although breakfast was included the choice was not appetizing at all the eggs looked not real and had no taste. Although this property advertises itself has smoke free it is NOT people smoke on the hallways. You should not advertise yourself as smoke free bec it is not true. The pool although small it was nice to have pool towels should be more available they did not always have them on stock the place needs some tender care. Water pressure was poor and the towels were very worn out.

Hotel a block from the beach, beautiful view, nice and clean staff, it was nice, the only thing I didn't know was that the Jets flew overhead until 8:00 p.m.

Lena (I believe that’s how you spell her name) was great, she was energetic, informative and made sure my check in ran smoothly, and that I had a relaxing stay.

The staff was great and overall we had a okay stay. I was just a little disappointed that we paid extra to have a room with a full kitchen but they had nothing to cook on and with so I had to buy items while I was down there just to use the kitchen. Wouldn’t have been an issue if it stated that I could have packed my own. Also the towels kept coming with hairs attached to them. The parking garage is a really tight squeeze for larger vehicles like SUVs there are pillars and poles everywhere making it difficult to park properly in your space or maneuver through the lot. The beds were really uncomfortable even for my kids. I don’t think the price I paid was worth the stay. The nicest thing was the walk to the beach was convenient.

Our room was clean with a minor issue with the mini refrigerator not feeling up to temperature. Lena came to check it out, offered us a room change (we declined, it wasn't that big of deal) with more follow up the very next morning. The hotel is conveniently located to shops and food and of course, the beach! They have a small selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. The pool was nice and more importantly, CLEAN! I would definitely chose this hotel again.

Property manager contacted me late at night via room phone and asked about my rating from Expedia app for the room, and harassed me about leaving less than perfect score. Expedia needs to tell users it will be shared and it was uncomfortable to be accosted on my first night.

It’s a really great option for the price. It’s very walkable to the beach and has plenty of good dining options nearby. Skip their free breakfast which isn’t good at all and eat at one of the many awesome breakfast places within walking distance. Interiors are renovated and modern.

Not the best looking hotel outside if u r used to a 3-5 star hotel but it was clean. The staff was very nice - Nate/ Nathan( overnight/check out) & the female (evening shift with the dark hair). Right off 10th St. it’s a straight walk to the beach. Very good price for location. Get out early (before 930/10a) if ur trying to set up on the beach or come out around 630p for the sunset & less people. Parking deck is a little tricky & tight but doable.

Not a pleasant stay. The property appears to be an old, poorly maintained building with little effort from the owners to make improvements. Looks like they are only focused on cost reduction profit and no qualitative improvements. The railings on each floor are extremely unsafe and pose a serious risk, especially for toddlers and young children. The swimming pool was unusable—filled with sand, debris, and hair.

Nice accommodations, definitely family friendly, room was near pool area and was a bit noisy but once pool closed quiet.

The stay was good and the view from the balcony was great! Just had an issue with shower leaking water onto bathroom floor. Bathroom I felt was too small, not enough room to move around. Overall, as long as my kids were happy, I was pleased.

Manager Lani was great! Awesome customer service. Breakfast was good too. Our room located at the top floor has less foot noise. Great! Walking distance from the boardwalk and restaurant were plentiful. For the not so good part - Middle headboard desk came loose off the wall and fell on the floor in middle of the night. Shower has low water pressure. For some reason, water leaking out of the shower sliding glass door no matter how tight you closed it. Overall - a good stay.

The pool air was filthy daily. Free breakfast was in a very small room with an hour wait daily. The cleaning lady did not speak English so she had a hard time addressing issues associated with our room and supplies requested.

Also the upper level parking has very narrow parking spots.
