    Room had poor lighting no towels, shampoo or soap when checking in. No place to put your towels and the place had a smell to it. Not impressed and it just was run down.

    In my bathroom they left me old soap used from other customers. Was not that clean. There was a dog that barked all night until I called the desk around midnight. They said they would try and find who had the dog. I mean don't you register who comes in with a dog? Was quiet for a while and then in early morning it started all over again.

    Convenient location Bathroom: toilet lid broken, rust around bathtub drain, tub floor very slippery, facets on tub turn in wrong direction and very difficult to shut off, no stopper in sink so jewelry or contact lens could easily go down drain. Garbage collected only every 3 days and had to request. Towels not replaced and had to request fresh towels. ELEVATOR EXTREMELY DIRTY, SMELLY AND BARS MISSING WITH SCREWS ON WALLS VISIBLE. LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE TORE OFF SIDES. Pool was very dirty and filled with debris.

    The information about the amenities was not appropriately given. (we had no assess to the pool and there was no information given that the pool was closed ) The customer services was terrible, the wifi kept going down. It was an overall horrible experience being at this property and I will never ever stay there again even if I am paid to do so.

    the beds were so comfy and the cleaning staff was very nice. Ac was making horrible noise and left so much moisture the floor was slippery. No Coffee in the lobby until the breakfast opened up. very disappointing the coffee machine in the room leaked. This was our 4th stay and each time we have enjoyed it this time went down. I most likely will stay somewhere else next time due to so many issues this time.

    This La Quinta (Norfolk Virginia Beach) was a good value. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast had waffles, frozen breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs as well as continental offerings. My room was not 100% clean so I needed to clean some surface areas and inside the refrigerator but overall, it was okay. The rooms were a bit outdated, but it looks like the hotel is doing some renovations. I would stay here again when I am in the area.

    The Breakfast was good. The A/C worked exectentely!! The room was clean although it only had 1 trash can for the bathroom and the bedroom. The shower was not cleaned very good. There was hair on the back wall near the soap despencers. The clearence between the toilet and the bathroom door was terrable. Very small. The elivator looked and sounded like it was on it's leg.

    After arriving from a later flight arrival we checked in on a Wednesday at midnight. Heading to our room, it looked like carpet at a seedy bar with stained and gum as you walked to the room. Entered the room to a sticky floor. Wanted to take a shower and unable to as the towels on the shelf were wet. Went down to the front desk to ask for another room. The room was much nicer and cleaner. We left early in the morning to visit my dying sister. Came back late in the evening to find that our room had not been cleaned or beds made or trash cans emptied. Left on Friday morning back to the hospital, unfortunately, my baby sister passed in the evening. After grieving into the late evening to come back to our room to find that again, no one had come to clean, fill coffee tray, no new towels, or clean sheets. Went down to ask for coffee and towels and ask why there was no service for the time we stayed. A gentleman was sitting on the sofa in the lobby, asked if I had requested for daily service and told i should have asked; that service was only provided every third day. No apologies given and asked if i still needed towels. Was then pointed in the direction of where the cups and condiments for coffee were to get what I needed. Sad part is that there was a sign in our room that states daily cleaning provided unless otherwise requested. It is sad that a franchise of Wyndham would approve of such low standards of this establishment.

    The building is settled, you can see that it is and gaps in work, didn't get painted by trim on the upeperwall, holes where things hung at one point but big holes still there. The floor has chips out in it and is hilly or uneven as you walk across the room, as well as being dirty. The first room had stuff all in it, flushed it and didn't fill back up. Changed rooms and the quality of the room wasn't any better. There was mold in the bathroom and you could see that there was water in the crack under the baseboard, between it and the floor. The doors have to be really closed because just pushing it shut doesn't close it, it comes back open. When checking in was told they just remodeled all the rooms and has sign outside saying something to the effect of recently remodeled. Would hate to see what it was like before.

    The check in staff was great, she try very hard to help us checking in the computer system doesn't work for 40min. And the breakfast was very good, and both the food counters and the dining area were very clean. The elevator was exceptionally dirty and smelled unpleasant, and there were small bugs on the pillows. The mattress was filthy and some of them even didn't have bed pad.

When we went to leave the next morning there was a needle near our back tire which was very alarming. The hotel is in the middle of being renovated and the tub had a constant drip and there was a lot of old furniture outside in the corner.

    Breakfast was a regular breakfast. The beds were comfortable. Our cold water somehow turned off and we were unable to use the toilet or shower. Had to fill the toilet tank one cup at a time to be able to flush toilet. Staff did move us to another room so we could shower. The new room/shower did not have body wash and the tub faucet was leaking with a steady stream of water when we got in there. When brought up to staff their response was “you could have used the ice bucket”. Well at 4am we grabbed what we knew was there without turning all the lights on.

    There was AC in the room, it worked well. The elevator was broken, we had to walk the stairs and carry the bags up. Room didn't appear to be properly cleaned, hair in the shower.and sheets were all wrinkled. They are refurbishing the hotel. I have stayed there before but it has gone down hill.

    The location was fine. The place is old, outdated and smelled. The flooring was so uneven in the room that I tripped a couple times. The bathroom is so small that in order to close the door, I had to move to the corner because the toilet and the door were literally 2 inches apart when trying to close the bathroom door. There was also an obvious leak in the bathroom where the fan was because the ceiling looked like it had asbestos and was all messed up. The tub had rust in it and the water never shut off. There were ants in the room. I had to kill one that was in the bed and there was a dead spider under one of my pillows showing this room had not been used.in quite some time. The elevator was scary to say the least and it looked like it would fall at any moment. This was definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I will never go to a Laquinta in again.

    Staff was very friendly Broken Ice machine on floor one, never cleaned room , had to request repair of bad shower head, that shower leaked all over the floor and should have been found before the room was allowed to be occupied. Only ONE available outlet on the entire room. With most people needing multiple outlets or USB ports (none of them anywhere on property). You offer WiFi but nowhere to plug in phones or pads. The halls were very dirty and smelled like urine. The ‘full breakfast’ was a joke. Everything was packaged. Cold boiled eggs, cold French toast, if you wanted anything hot you had to heat it yourself.

    Breakfast was not so great. Definitely could have upscaled a bit more to add variety of fruits , yogurt , breads . All in all we enjoyed to see our long time friends and that’s the main purpose of our stay .

    The floors were wood and dirty. When I pulled off my socks before bed, they were brown on the bottom. For a smoke-free room it wreaked of smoke so bad it irritated mine and wife’s throat. Stains on sheets, so I had to request clean sheets. The mini fridge was frozen over. Water damaged walls. Elevator was in rough shape with holes in the ceiling and wall. It was a horrible experience. I booked for 5 days, but we only stayed 1 night.

    This place is trashy. We stayed the week, we initially only paid for Sunday through Monday and re upped Monday around 6am and asked to stay in the same room. They said yes. Around 11, house keeping comes by saying I need to leave, the room is on her list to clean. I told her we extended. She went and got the manager, some tall Indian looking guy with glasses. He started treating me like a criminal because their system wasn’t tracking that we re upped.. he wanted to take a picture of my drivers license when I told him I’m not sure what my husband did with the receipt. There was an unleashed dog roaming the halls. People just sit outside the side door and smoke cigs all day long. They watch you park, walk to the door and enter. It’s all really low quality. I wouldn’t stay here alone, asking to get jumped in the parking lot.

Shower was not great and did not appear very clean. Furniture was damaged cosmetically and handles missing, etc. faint smell of cigarette smoke throughout hotel and room.     Will never stay at a La Quinta again. Made my reservation for a King sized bed. I arrived and had a twin. My estimated arrival time was 830 but due to traffic I arrived at 1030.     The Hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever been at. All three floors reeked of wet dog. The elevator seemed like it was going to snap and fall. Staff was ridiculously unpleasant at best. Wouldn't recommend.

    In the dining area the hot water dispenser for tea was just about inoperable. It needs fixed. They kept the butter in a fridge set at 32 degrees which froze it, making it usually unusable as it wouldn’t melt.

    We switched rooms and eventually started seeing them again. We informed management again. They tried to offer another room. We told them no we left and booked a new hotel. Management was unconcerned about the cockroaches stating that it was that time of season, and we have pets coming in and out of the hotel. If im not mistaken there is no season for cockroaches, they are year round. Also a lot of hotels allow pets in so that not an excuse either. We had to shake our clothes off outside to make sure no bugs tried to hitch a ride. I will never book with this hotel again or any hotels like it.

Upon check in we just changed clothes and left out.     It's like a bad renovation show on hgtv. No electrical outlets by the bed. Outlet in the room was loose on the wall. The bathtub water ran continuously. The staff were nice enough. The breakfast was average, but they didn't restock when things ran out. A homeless camp was set up in the parking lot by the pool. The parking lot is well lit. I booked because it was close to family I was visiting and this trip was done as economical as possible.

    I would not recommend that anyone stay here. The pictures are very misleading. The bathroom sink was broken, the bathroom door did not close because it hit the toilet, there was dirt and pieces of candy all over the floor, pieces of the actual flooring were popping up, the trim in the bathroom was falling off the wall, and there was something smeared all over the door. It is also very loud. The walls are paper thin. We could hear everything that was going on in the room next to us, including a dog barking nonstop in the morning. There is nowhere to plug your phone in by the bed unless you unplug the lamp. Blankets are very thin, more like a sheet, so I was freezing all night. Ice machine was broken. Ceiling panels had fallen down in the elevator. I paid $200 a night for a hotel that honestly felt like I should have been paying by the hour.

    We asked the front desk if we could check-in 30 minutes early but we were told that there is no room available yet. So we waited in our car. We came back inside at 3pm and the front desk helped us right-away but the other lady who just came in for her shift was not ready to work. She said she does not want to be there. As soon as we entered the elevator, there is a weird odor and it's dirty and old. The hallways are old too. The room was old and does not look clean. We run the faucets and the water was dirty and brownish in color. We changed clothes and went to the beach. Upon coming back, my daughter turned on the shower and the tube was not draining. We called the front desk multiple times and no one answered. So, I decided to go downstairs and tell the front desk. The lady told me that, they were fixing the pipes because they had issues with plumbing. I told her that, we just came from the beach and we need to take a shower because we are going to meet with our friends. She said, she cannot help me, because the guys are upstairs fixing the problem. We don't have any other options, than to take a shower in a clogged tub. We checked out the next morning and the tub was still clogged up. I will never come back again.

Also, I am a maniac to get clean with no bugs, so I always move beds from the wall to check. I found a death (dried) cockroach. If there was 2 things i wld change about my stay it wld be the pool...im really ocd about germs and the pool i feel cld of been a lil less foggy and more clear and the 2nd thing id wanna change is harder water pressure in the shower because i have long thick hair. The water pressure may of just been lower in some rooms then others but i definitely am gonna book here again in the future! The sraff was super friendly and didn't charge extra for late check out!

There was mold growing inside the coffee maker as well. I had no choice of switching rooms or moving to another hotel so my daughter and I just dealt with it for a few days.     This is definitely a 2 star motel. It is a very old structure that was renovated. That said, for the lower than average price it was more than satisfactory. Clean sheets, extra large TV, refrigerator, and microwave in each room. The continental breakfast was rather complete with the option to make your own waffles. The waffles were good after learning how to work the cooker. I would definitely stay again.

The vinyl plank flooring in the room was peeling up and terrible installed. The furniture was chipped and old. The sheets had some debris on them. This was one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve ever had to sleep in. Glad it was just one night because we were passing through the area. I would definitely spend and additional $100 to stay in a nicer hotel; this had section 8 food stamp vibes. People were smoking marijuana and drinking in the parking lot, the place sucked. I had kids with me and they didn’t feel safe at all. The elevator was in need of major repair. The entire experience was bad. Less than 1 star.

    This property has so many issue that is to many to list. They are in the process of renovation, and they don't know how to manage contractors doing the work. In the room I stayed in was a long list of punchlist items that need to be corrected and the room should have never been turned over for customer use. The new floor was not installed properly and buckling, the old curtain rod system was not patched where the hardware was formally located, the HVAC did not work (I complained about it and nothing was done). The furniture was old and worn out including the beds. No decor in the lobby. The breakfast was just ok, not great. The dining area was refreshed and still had old furniture with wobbling tables and chairs that were about to fall apart. The accessible toilets in the lobby were definitely not accessible as it did not have proper ADA accessible lavatory, soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser were totally out of reach for a person with any disability.

    The thing we LOVED was this hotel did NOT give us garbage tv. Subscription TV is NO TV. NO news, Nothing but garbage. Thank them for real networks, real sports, real news. I would never review them badly because we needed some of those real broadcasts- not recorded days, months or years before. I don’t know people who do but I would bet subzcription tv elected the moron we have for president.

    This stay was horrible the area you check in at is nice renovated but once you get to the elevator and to the rooms it’s ran down the stay was horrible I had a water bug in my closet and it was pregnant the beds aren’t comfortable the shower is dirty and the water pressure sucks , there were ppl that got stuck in that broken down elevator during my check out and the breakfast is horrible they give you left over food and there isn’t much options I wouldn’t recommend staying at this dirty hotel please don’t !!!
