Was good. No bottled water in the rooms though. Free parking, nice clean rooms. Fresh towels, etc. Everything else good, except, bring bottled waters for yourself.

Everything was fine, and after a long drive we stopped at the bar for a drink. What a great idea that was, since we met Tamika who was full of wonderful conversation and insights. She looped in another guest who was equally entertaining, and it really set the tone for our visit. Great job, Holiday Inn!

It was a very comfortable stay. Very clean and spacious.

Room was very clean! Air conditioner worked great! Too long a walk to room. No help with luggage offered or given. One area in room was a trip hazard although we didn't trip. It was right in the middle of the room.

The lady at the front desk was new and didn’t know what she was doing. Also Expedia charged me for two rooms and no one has reached back to me to give me my refund. I’m highly disappointed in Expedia.

We had a event there and the staff wasn't there to serve the patrons food ran out. Patrions left to go to other restaurants in the area to eat. That was a sad day.

Got accused of smoking in the room which I know was untrue I am on oxygen so no threr no smoking. Was charge 250.00 it was join room which was not with us. The whole stay staff was knocking on door trying to find who was smoking the floor smelled weed, i believed we was scapegoat because they saw going outside to smoke they thought the joint room was the one smoking. I have documented proof that i am oxygen so i know there was no smoking , tried to explain to management which treated me rudely. Plusci had my granddaughter with bme which is allergic . Management not would listen. Which i have proof of oxygen use abd allergies . Documented from medical experts

Checking in was a hassle. I was standing there for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted me. It took about 20 minutes to find my reservation. Then the staff sent us to the wrong room where someone else was already occupying. I had to go back to the front desk for them to straighten that out. They gave us breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. The food served the following morning was cold. I also asked for late check out, which she reluctantly offered to extend by 30 minutes, to 11:30, but they were still knocking at 11:15. Overall the room was comfortable and clean, but not worth the price for the general area. The amenities are better than some of the competing hotels in the area.

The following morning the coffee pot wouldn’t work. We were told to get coffee in the lobby while we waited for a new kuerig however there wasn’t any coffee in the lobby. Later that night our room keys worked on the exterior door but neither worked on our room door so we had to go back to the lobby. And the staff didn’t replenish our coffee or cups so the next morning we had to go back to the lobby. and lastly there wasn’t a security latch on the door. Frustrated!

Received a handicap room closet rack was low so my husband wasn't able to hang his suits w/o touching the floor. I had to hang my dresses on the lamp because they were long and didn't want to touch the floor. I don't see a luggage rack to place my suitcase. We asked the staff, and they said they didn't have any. My husband found 2 chairs in one of the rooms they were meeting in and brought them to the room where my suitcase was. There was one drawer that could only hold his items, so I had to live out of my suitcase. We couldn't change rooms because supposedly, there were none available. The light/fan in the bathroom was awfully loud. We never got hotel cups restocked after the 1st night. No plans of going back there again.

I was charged a reservation fee which was the cost of 1 night stay priort checkin. However I was still charged full price for 3 nights at check in. Still waiting to be refunded.

The room was clean and housekeeping was very attentive. Breakfast was great, the selection choices were way above standard. All was good, I do not have any dislikes at the moment.

Breakfast was not hot. The food was good but barely warm. We were early, so I don't think the pans had warmed up yet. Flavor was good though. The staff were very nice. Everything was clean. The decor was nice. Plenty of parking. There could have been at least one medium -soft pillow. All 4 were firm. The toilet paper holder was installed wrong, so one roll fell off right away. Had I been in a wheelchair, it could have been a problem. I took pictures because it struck me as odd that it was a construction issue that had not been fixed.

The actual bedroom was very nice and clean. But the bathroom was horrible, when I entered the room the bathroom door was locked so i had to call for it to be opened. When i returned back to my room,there were hair particles, tub was dirty with hair and the mess that maintenence made was left on the floor. Horrible I was very disappointed for it to be a holiday inn. Will never book another stay at any holiday inn. My friend next door found a roach in his refrigerator how awful is that. I'm totally done with them.

It also houses students from Norfolk State University, and work crews. Parking can be challenging especially when work trucks and trailers take up 3-4 spaces each (parking across spaces)

Overall service was great and house keeping came to you room daily offer cleaning , addtl supplies. I didn't like that you either had to dine-in or take-out for the breakfast buffet

No complaints about the property. I would have give a 5 star review, but the check-in staff member irritated me, by not being in attendance for 5 minutes and then telling me I had to wait 10 minutes for rooms to be available. Rules are rules I suppose, but that just meant a long queue of folks trying to check in directly at 4pm, with only one staff member available.

The room was very clean and quiet. The staff was absolutely amazing and kind. We will definitely be coming back!! The beach was about a 15-20 minute drive from this location so it wasn’t a bad commute at all. We enjoyed our stay!

The property is nice. The room & bathroom needs a touchup but still was ok. As a previous review stated they only provide 2 towels in the room for that day/night if you need more you have to request it. This one looks nicer than some I have stayed in

A great experience! There was a 24 hour store on the premises, a bar and restaurant too. The room was clean and the beds were comfy! The pool was wonderful, big and changed colors at night. The location was near stores and highways. All for a great price. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Overall, our stay was great, except when we checked in, we were put on the first floor, and we are not even locals. I requested an upper-level room, but there's no available one. When we arrived at the room, we sat on the bed and noticed that it wasn't clean; there were boogers in the comforter, food stains in the sheets, and it looked like someone had lain on it. The bathroom was okay, but the water overflow was so slow. Before checkout, someone came to our room, opened the door, knocked, and didn't say anything. I noticed it was time for checkout, so I called the front desk and requested a late checkout, explaining what had happened. The front desk was rude and told us that another guest already occupied the room, and that we needed to hurry up. (What kind of customer service was that?) Voiced my concerns to the manager, who was helpful and understanding.

We liked that its right in the middle of everything & only 20 minutes from the beach. The check in time is pretty late and check out time is pretty early my only complaint. We enjoyed the pool, and the bathrooms were always clean. I did not eat at the buffet, but I did walk past it & it is on the smaller side, but everything looked really good. My complaint is about Expedia, not Holiday Inn. I was not able to make the stay, and I could not contact Expedia to register my cancellation. All of my attempts were met with the autoresponder stating "oops! there is a problem on our end! please try again later" Which I did again and again and again, to no avail. I have encountered this problem with Expedia before. I am a VRBO host as well, and my guests have reported similar experiences with Expedia. I will never use your terrible service again.

This is the nicest holiday inn I’ve ever been in. The breakfast buffet is delicious, the front desk staff are so so nice… everyone we talked to was so nice and helpful. We got a room with two queen beds, and it was great.

The onlyyyyy thing that was kind of annoying was that I gave them my card and Id for check in and without warning was hit with a 50 dollar deposit for the cleaning fee. I did get it back later but it would’ve been nice to be warned lol. Maybe I should’ve expected that. But anyway overall great stay !!!

The handicap shower in room 135 leaked all the way into the front entryway of the room. The water was getting under the tiles and you can also tell the water is affecting the Sheetrock right next to the shower and bathroom door. The room felt very humid and I think the floor and wall is the main reason for that.

I have issues with the front desk in 3 different times, even if I told them that I paid online the entire amount for the staying , they pretend like they don’t heard what I said and charge me again on the time I do the check in. Then they have an attitude when I want them to fix their mistake like they were doing me a favor, they are getting paid to do their job correctly, if they don’t like to deal with stuff like that, they shouldn’t work on a job like that.

We just stay to sleep. Most of the time, we are out. Out last night was kinda disappointing. After a day trip to DC and got to the hotel close to midnight. Went straight to the room on the 6th floor and found out our keys don’t work. You tell me now! How was our stay?

The room was extremely clean, and the staff was great.

There’s a lot of parking space,check in was easy and quick the rooms are bigger than other hotels.

I requested maid service and didn’t receive it but the the manager called and apologized after we checked out. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Check in was fine, but the room did not seem very clean. I did my usual wipe spray down of the room. We had a late start Saturday and asked that room service come back in twenty minutes. They never came back. We called down to the front desk and asked for towels. The front desk informed us that since housekeeping left, there were no towels available.

I liked the cleanliness, the convenience of the location and the lobby appearance. It's a decent hotel. The rooms are a bit worm in places and could use better upkeep and upgrades, especially for the price. It is one of the nicer hotels of this area. There are other places.....terrible places. Holiday Inn doesn't disappoint.

The staff are courteous and professional. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.

My stay was very convenient. My 10 year neighborhood/high school annual Thanksgiving reunion was located at the hotel, so I booked a room for one night so I wouldn't have to drive home while drinking. Wonderful stay and comfortable clean room.
