Everything was fine but then in the late evening, 6 to 7 armed black "men" came knocking on my door. I did not answer but they stayed and knocked 3 or 4 different times over a couple of hour timespan. Thankfully a friend came to shut them down and pick me up so I was able to leave the room. Was the hotel involved? I do not know, but this has never happened to me before.

The room had an odor. The door access key kept timing out every time I needed to go back inside. I had to go to the lobby 4 times in order to regain access to my room.

The website photos are way different than what the actual room looks like! It is very "old" and very "sketchy". It was clean which we were thankful for. We never could get logged onto the internet. It took forever to figure out how to change the channels on the T.V. The remote for the TV would not move the channels up and down you had to punch it whatever number channel you wanted to watch. We had a gap at the bottom of the door where flies came in. It seemed we were fighting flies the whole 2 days. I would not stay here again.

I did not stay at the hotel a full night because when I went to lay down there was a roach crawling on the head. I quickly gathered my belongings and left. I was already skeptical because the outside looked very sketchy. Never again!

Easy , quick check in and check out . Room was clean and staff were helpful when asking questions. Quite area . Only stayed for a two nights, don’t know how it would be for a longer stay.

The room was dirty. The bathroom sink was dirty. There was trash outside of the facility. There’s hardly anyone ever at the front desk and when there is, you have to wait a long time before they come out.

I did not like anything about this property. When booking is property it’s not what the picture shows. This property needs a lot of work. It should be shut down and evaluated. The pain is falling off the walls there’s mold in the bathroom. The toilet seat are coming off. The stoves were dirty. It was completely disgusting. My daughter was scared to take a shower.

The room and property were both dirty and poorly maintained. The air conditioning and TV were both defective. The shower had about 1 minute of warm water and then it went cold. You could not go out of your room without seeing long term residents congregating and smoking marijuana. The supposed "breakfast" for hundreds of people was laid on a 4' x 4' coffee table. Run away from this place!

There was a lot of garbage near the stairs that look like it hadn’t been emptied in a while.

It at least seemed clean. And the lady who checked me in was very helpful The rooms are very outdated and worn out. Any repairs made to the rooms were shoddy. The bathroom door in my room didn't latch and the handle pulled off the door.

This property needs to be updated, appliance needs to be cleaned or replaced. The refrigerator looked like it came out of a dumpster. The nightstand drawer wouldn't close. Paint was peeling off the way, and the mattress was dented it. The pillows were terrible.

The only positive aspect was the staff member at reception (Chelsea), who was understanding and agreed that cancelling the booking was the best option given the condition of the rooms. Both rooms were clearly not cleaned upon arrival. The beds looked as though they had already been used, there were dirty towels left on the floor, and there was hair around the sink and on the towels. The rooms were not fit for use and this was unacceptable. I had to cancel the booking immediately and leave. Despite being advised that I would receive a refund, I have had no response from the property after multiple attempts to contact them.

The front desk people were nice. The bed sheets smelled fresh and help to combat the dog smell. When I entered my room it smelled of dog urine. I had to leave early because I couldn't take it any longer. I was given the wrong room and people were inside. Then my room key did not work. Getting into my room was a challenge and the smell was so hard.

The room was so dirty. When you walked on the floor, the bottom of your feet turned black, the refrigerator barely worked. Didn't find that out till my last day there. There were bugs in the room coming from the drain in the shower.

The guy at the front desk the day I checked out was very rude, unhelpful and he had a bad attitude. He acts like a guard in a correctional facility. I noticed him humiliating one of the tenants on the phone. Then he trated one elderly lady badly. And then he talked to me with a terrible attitude for no clear reason. He's not a normal person.

Nothing. It was nasty dirty outside. It was dirty. Bathtub was so gross I was afraid to even use the toilet. Dirty towels. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. Other tenants screaming, slamming doors at 2 am.

Kitchenette was useful. Needed a more cleaner outside facility and upgrade paint job and under my bed and corners was some trash but my room overall on 3rd floor 316 was ok if you're a dude(male).

There was trash and what appeared to be homeless people standing around. Once I entered my room it didn’t get any better. There was dried feces on the toilet seat and when I called the front desk about it, the employee made it seem like I was bothering them. I pray I never have to stay at this location again.

Booked and paid for a same day, room online for an enployee. When checking in 29 minutes later, she was told no rooms available. Extended stay would not cancel or refund the room charge. Had to dispute it with my bank.

It was absolutely disgusting. Dirty, smelly, and the appliances were rusted. Went to the front desk to complain about the smell in our room and I was advised they had no other rooms available. Instead, they provided me with my very own can of air freshener to spray until we couldn’t smell the stank anymore. Needless to say, we left the next day.

This property has no elevator. Carrying my heavy suitcase up three flights was very difficult. The room was clean, but in dire need of improvement. The carpet was old and stained, the cabinets were chipped and worn, and the tub was completely unacceptable. See the attached photo. I thought it was dirty, but was told by the front desk that the paint was coming off and it just needed to be repainted. I also did not feel safe getting from my car to my room when I came back after dark. Every night there were people loudly arguing either in the parking lot or in rooms near me. There was also a lot of garbage strewn around and my air conditioner didn't work properly. The front desk workers were very nice, but really couldn't solve any of these problems.

The towel (which I left in the middle of the floor) was black with dirt. The toilet seat was falling off. The shelf was leaning to one side after I placed two pairs of pants on it (I also fixed that too). Outside of the room was nasty with filth. Looks like the sidewalks had not been pressure washed in years, and the garbage was overflowing right next to the stairs to go up to our room. Basically, a nasty place I will never return to. It has definitely turned me against Extended Stay Hotels.

The staff their were really nice, but the facilities were not. The room was passable, but I couldn’t walk on the floors with bare feet, it smelled like weed the entire time, the bathroom had burn marks everywhere, and the walls are paper thin. I also think I still spent a lot on money for what I got. I spent almost $500 for 3 nights and the condition of the room was barely livable. I get it’s not supposed to be a 5-star hotel, but people should be able to pay a fair price for a hotel room and get standard living conditions.

I was exhausted after driving 12 hours and made the decision to rest and not push driving thru the night. Checkin was a breeze within a few minutes I was getting ready for bed. The staff was very friendly and greeted me a very pleasant smile and a very welcoming status.

The place is in disrepair, dirty and paint peeling from the walls. Zero water pressure. It took me 20 min. to rinse my long hair. Stained carpet. If you're on a seriously low budget stay here, otherwise pay the extra $40 a night and stay elsewhere. It felt like no one has cared about this property in the last 10 years.

My check in process was amazing. The young lady working the front desk when I checked in was sweet and professional and made me feel welcome. However, when I was leaving my room to check out, I was confronted by staff I assume as I had my hands full trying to take my things to my car they were asking questions about what room I stayed in and when I am leaving. I would think they can ask the front desk those questions not busy customers.

The one exception was an electrical outlet behind the bed did not have a cover and a lot of dust had accumulated there. People with delicate sensibilities would feel uncomfortable here. I don't blame the staff at all. They seem to be doing the best they can with what they have to work with. The building needs a major renovation.

Since entering the property the staff has been extremely polite and professional . They’ve answered any questions I have and even moved my room after I couldn’t get sleep due to a loud neighbor . This is an incredibly difficult time so I really appreciate the hospitality here at Extended stay , THANK YOU !!

The rooms are very nice, little efficiency apartments, basically. The hotel staff has been nice especially Tiffany who is always a service professional! Also what i was impressed with the safety i felt being there. Some of these properties have homeless people hanging in the parking and sitting areas, but not this location.

The rooms are very nice, little efficiency apartments, basically. The hotel staff has been nice especially Tiffany who is always a service professional! Also what i was impressed with the safety i felt being there. Some of these properties have homeless people hanging in the parking and sitting areas, but not this location.

I arrived tongue hotel around 1230am after a long day of flights and travel delay. Upon arrival the office was closed. The door had hour of operation until 12:00am. After panicking, looking for other hotels for an hour and thinking I was going to have to sleep in my car I decided to call the office. A staff member picked up and said she was there but didn’t take walk-ins after 12 am and was happy to check me in because I had a reservation. She was very pleasant. She told me she had no first floor rooms and there was not an elevator only a fee steps and the only room she had left was the last room in the hallway by the road. There were dogs barking in several different rooms as I went up the stairs. Upon entering the room there was a strong cigarette smell, the room was clean but needed updates(stains, scratches, missing paint). The bed seemed like it was in casters and easily moved when you got in it. The next morning there were people in the parking lot smoking. It was not an environment where I felt save as a female traveling along. I decided to look for another place to stay the following night even though I had already paid for staying here.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in- the room and bathroom were dirty and the fridge was filthy. We reached after a long road trip and seriously had no energy to find another hotel at night since we were only spending the night there. I have stayed in many extended stay hotels and this was the worst!! I actually should have asked for a refund

Upon arrival, going into my room it smelled like cigarettes. I spoke with Shaun the DC and he attempted to put me in another room. Which unfortunately smelled no better.. I chose to turn off the heater to not circulate the smelly air. In all honesty, I probably should not have stayed in the room as I have a lung condition. Bed was a lil hard. I won’t stay there again

There was a huge puddle outside our door from our AC unit and it made it so that our floor was absolutely filthy for the whole stay. Other than that the door key cards worked once each so we went through 3 or 4 replacements in our 2 day stay.

LLego a la propiedad hacemos check in pasaron unas horas y era como 8pm la ducha estaba tapada llame al front desk y nos dijeron que usaramos el destapador eso no es trabajo nuestro no habia ningun personal de emergencia si no hasta domingo pedimos otra habitacion no habia y como magia aparecio una igual manera estaba tapada la ducha decidimos irnos del hotel nos dejaron saber que llamaramoa a expedia o al banco para cancelar cuarto entregamos llave a las 1047pm nos fuimos malrato que pasamos

I didn’t like this property. I didn’t know what an extended stay was prior to us arriving. We stayed only one night for a concert. Our deposit was never returned and we had to call back to speak to management. It’s alright for a cheap quick one night stay but it’s definitely not a “I’m here for a week long vacation” hotel. It was pet friendly which was nice. Some of the furniture in our room was broken/ missing legs and just balanced in a good enough sort of way. Also the “breakfast” a couple of prepackaged muffins and a coffee machine so don’t expect a typical hotel breakfast.

The room needed to be updated.The microwave was shooting sparks and the refrigerator didnt work. The recliner was old fashioned and needed to be replaced. The room needed a coat of paint.

Friendly staff but stairs and balconies need a good pressure washing. Breakfast is oatmeal and Nutra grain bars.

Room was ok, the smoke smell on my non-smoking room was horrible!!! I went to the front desk and was handed a bottle of Febreze. I was told since i booked through a third party there was noting that the could do to discount the room.

Excellent all around, staff, room pool and breakfast . All fantastic!

Though the staff is friendly and the room appears to have been recently painted and newer floors inside, the rooms still real if smoke. This is supposedly a non smoking facility. The lobby smelled of smoke as well as the laundry room.

I didn't like the services and the rooms smells like smoke even I said non smoking. And the clean of the room it's was poor.

Room had a bad smell, dead bugs laying around, everything in the room felt wet (floors bed sheets, humidity in the room was awful for some reason.) The bed sheets would stick to you because of the wetness from the humidity in the room. Maybe that was the smell issue too?

Extremely filthy. We could not stay in the dirty, noxious overwhelming urine smelling room. It was unihabitable and we had to abandon it. This business should be removed from Expedia. While the front desk attendant was great, the hotel staff clearly knew the poor condition of the room and tried to cover the smell by running an internally vented kitchen hood.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed. Our room smelled like smoke even tho it is smoke free. We had to stay perfume to try and get rid of the smell. We also found a cockroach. It was an extended stay not even a coffee pot. The property itself was very run down. We had rented 2 rooms and both were terrible. Wouldn’t take a shower there. The area outside our rooms was so dirty. I found a condom outside our room. It also smelled like urine walking to our room. The garbage cans were by the staircase. It is summer and what happens to garbage when it is out in the hot sun. I don’t think the building and property were power washed in years. The room next to us the couple was having a fight at 2am for about 90 minutes. Couldn’t sleep through that. DON’T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

I stayed here for a concert and it was fantastic! Staff were extremely friendly and made sure that everything was clean. Very nice if you are wanting a clean and affordable room near Virginia Beach.
