We only stayed one night, loved the beach access.

Great location, right on the boardwalk. Great for families with lots of activities.

Property was clean , location is great, staff was very nice and helpful. One of the elevators didn’t work for most of the first day but everything else was fine. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel manager was the best and most attentive I have seen in my 6 years Ive been traveling. We arrived early and had been on the road for 3 days. She added our name to a list so that she could call us when our room was ready. She didnt hesitate to allow us access to the laundry room and pool. We had a great stay here. Thank you.

The property has a bistro that serves Starbucks coffee, has a hotel bar, and has a cute little market attached to the hotel. The outdoor pool/outdoor bar is also super nice. The front desk staff were super friendly. Outdated bathrooms/room - but that’s not a dealbreaker for us. There was a light that was broken between the bed and duck tape was used to try to “fix” it, but it kept falling. One of our sheets also had a big yellow stain on it.

Great location. Nice balcony. The balcony door was very hard to open, and almost impossible to close, I had to put all my weight behind it to close it. The same door was impossible to close from the outside.

View and cleanliness of the facility was excellent and the outdoor pool was wonderful. Melissa and Nick at the pool bar was excellent. You couldn’t ask for a better staff. I would highly recommend. Not enough handicap parking on the hotel parking lot

The breakfast buffet was awful, eggs were not real made from powder or something like liquid egg, French toast was thin white bread, sausage was gross. The overnight desk person completely unhelpful. For 20 dollars i expected more. Ate there once then went out to breakfast. Prices for drinks was high and the dinner cafe was not available Sunday night.

Friendliness of all the employees from the moment we checked in. Elaine W who provided great customer service along with an amazing room was very professional from the get go. I was traveling with my 85 year old friends and our room was perfect. Cleaning gal everyday made sure we had clean towels and was very attentive. Nick at the pool provided excellent friendly service at the pool. We were just very impressed with the accommodation and hospitality of everyone beginning with Elaine. Thank you for the best hotel experience I have received in a really long time. Was not disappointed with anything

Proximity to the beach Staff ignorant about most of the questions we asked them, they did not clean room as requested, parking 20 bucks a day, zero amenities compared to other hotels we visited. The exit hallways were filthy, disgustingly dirty, the breakfast buffet was barely better than fast food, alcoholic drink prices cost more than many of the other hotels we stopped and overall you are paying for a name with very little accommodations. I recommend spend less on the hotel and get more in return.

Oceanfront location, size of room Room had plumbing issues, water slow drained out of tub and sink, creating tub and sink back up when in use. Water pressure was too low and too hot. AC unit was noisy. Size of suite was great.

Well on line the total was 1158.30 including fees due at the property but when we got there the total was 1218.30 and they said that I have already checked in, so I had to show a confirmation number so I asked did they show a confirmation number and they did not. So I’ll probably not use this hotel again

I liked how helpful the staff was. The only bad amenities were the bed being very uncomfortable and that housekeeping don’t come until 4pm on the second day.

The view from the balcony Was our "honeymoon" & our kids first time at the beach... We checked in late(after midnight) and was told we could enjoy the amenities the following day(the outside pool was opening), even had a valid parking pass but was told the following day by different staff that we had to leave

The shower in my room was supposed to be accessible. Certainly someone with disabilities could get into the shower, but once the shower curtain is closed it is extremely narrow. It would be very difficult for someone with limited mobility to be able to do everything they need to do without getting caught up in the curtain. Moving the curtain bar a bit further out would be a huge help and make showering much more comfortable for anyone, but particularly for someone with limited mobility.

The lady at check-in was very helpful with all of my questions. The limited menu at the restaurant and the slow slow elevators.

The room was clean, spacious and very homey. Great views on the beach. The staff was very helpful and sweet. There was no request too difficult and always asked what else can we help with? Highly recommended!

Rooms need a refresh. Had to ask for luggage racks. Windows should be cleaned for each guest. Kitchens should have basics - forks, knives, spoons and plates. Ocean view was great. Handicapped parking consisted of 2 spots near entrance. Rest of handicapped parking was across the street. ☹️. Parking near entrance has about 30 parking spots. More spots at entrance should be designated handicapped.

The staff was really nice. The water was shut off from 11am-3pm on the first day, the indoor pool was under construction the entire time we were there which, the shower hair strands of hair left behind. There was also strands of hair on beds and pillows. Our balcony windows had not been cleaned. Parking is not free, it’s $20 a day.

Delicious breakfast. I wish I got her name, there was a friendly breakfast staff throughout the weekend with dark hair that was tied back. She was so great to my family. indoor pool was closed. missed a day of housekeeping that was assigned.

My two favorite things about this hotel and the room I stayed in were the view from the balcony and the breakfast. The front desk ladies were also super nice and helpful with any needs. I will for sure be staying here next year when we come again for NHSCA wrestling event. Honestly, the only thing I did not like was that the pool was closed, but it was for remodeling. They did provide and allow you to use their sister facility down the street. It was too cold anyways haha

I was supposed that the outdoor swimming pool was closed for the season. I really liked it when booking this hotel.

Building needs a « little love » - room front door squeezed in the frame, sliding door to access balcony very hard to open/close, shower faucet broken…….disappointing considering $$$.

Trip was good, there is like a moldy smell on the 10th floor but other than that my stay was great. Parking was 18.00 a day parking lot was right in front on hotel. The outdoor pool wasn't open on our last day in hotel.

Very nice hotel. Not sure why they need to nickel and dime on parking, $10 per night, and on breakfast, $15 per stay. Especially, when paying over $300 a night for a hotel that is "nice", but is obviously dated and needs to be upgraded to be a 3-star hotel. Overall, the staff were wonderful.

View was perfect. Loved where it was located and enjoyed the pool. Negatives- paying for parking, breakfast Buffett $20 per person- overpriced and not good at all. The only things worthwhile were the coffee and muffins and you could get that at the 7-eleven 2 blocks from hotel for less than $5. It was nice to have a pool bar but that was overpriced. Had a frozen margarita for $18 and it was watery and not good. Overpriced food and drink.

It was much better years ago. It seems they don’t take care of it anymore. The bathroom was not very clean; there were lots of flies in the cafeteria; the restroom by the pool didn’t have any soap. In summary, I was disappointed.

Emtire place smelled liked paint. It was made out to be much nicer than it was and it was out dated for the price.

We had a wonderful week.

The tub had mold growing in the corners of the tub where it meets the shower wall. I attempted to take a shower the first night and had no water at one point. The entire system was shut down and had to be rebooted. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

I will definitely stay Ada in and recommend staying here! Definitely home away from home! Staff is very welcoming and friendly! You will not be disappointed!

Check in was easy and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The room smells of heavy air freshener and is very humid. The lock on the sliding glass door out onto the balcony is broken and very hard to open. The carpeting seems damp. The grout in the shower is dirty, and when my daughter went to use the shampoo that is mounted on the shower wall, it fell off and the bracket cut her hand. The pool is nice but it's on the street side and not the ocean side so you're here traffic going by. Overall, it was just an OK experience and not really worth the hefty price tag.

Disliked the food options. Didn't like being charged for a Buffett that is basically the same foods that are put out for free at other Hotels.

This was a great place to stay. Staff was great. Room was mostly clean. Only issue is someone left a bottle of medicine behind and it wasn’t seen by housekeeping so we tossed it. Also the showers are not in good condition and made an extremely loud sound when using. Otherwise we had a great stay there and everything was as listed.

Even though I checked in the day before through their service, I was told that I had to go to another hotel since it was overbooked. They put me in a hotel that was not even close to the boardwalk, which was the point of choosing that location. I lost the amenities that came with the hotel that I originally chose. There only response was they could give me one night for free. They would not work with me or offer a ride to the other location. Very cold and abrupt.

It was ok. Not very clean. I registered 5 guests yet when we checked in there were only three bath towels.

The front desk should have locked the doors and put up a sign that it was closed. I’ve been in the aquatic industry for decades so I’m very well aware of water chemistry and filtration.

Had a great stay with kids. Beach wasn't too crowded, room was clean and floor quiet. The outside pool was a nice size and fun for kids. The food at the outside bar could use some healthier, fresher options, but in general great experience.

We was there for 2 days no one came for clean are room people smoking weed on the balcony I can not get any sleep because my room was stinky pool dirty are keys we had to change to many times over price for the service they provided I will not recommend on the tap you have to pay for parking

Some minor issues with the room. Not crucial but couch was extremely uncomfortable. Both rooms sliding glass doors to balcony were in sever need of maintenance as they both need 2 men and a small boy to open and close.

Our housekeeper Shari was fantastic. She asked us everyday if there was anything we needed and if there was anything she could do for us.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Marriott. Staff was very friendly and the facility has been renovated and updated since the last time I stayed. I stayed in a corner suite and it was very nice and roomey. Only suggestion i would make would be to have a small stock of kitchen suppliess, i.e. paper towels, cups / dishes for cabinets.....

Beautiful ocean view. Friendly staff and clean. However, they neglect to advertise that parking is not free, the hotel is under rather noisy construction, and they only have one operational elevator. Also, the breakfast buffet is a definitely a pass, I have had better free breakfast at pretty much every hotel I have have ever stayed in.

Its our pick for the best hotel in Va Beach. Clean. No surprises. Enjoyed the Ocean.& jets.

The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was that there was a little bit of construction going on during our stay, so it was not ideal. However, it was contained very well and didn't bother us at all. Everything else was so good that we'll definitely stay there again sometime.

SO LOUD and so distracting, we have a toddler that needed a nap, and litterally ruined our trip because she couldn't have a nap for the whole weekend. So disappointed in this hotel

The property would have been great except the hotel was under renovations so everyday 9-5 jackhammering. Idk why they put us on the same floor as the construction considering they told us there were not many guests in the hotel and that is also why the restaurant/bar was not open

Also, you could hear doors in the halls slamming during the evening so I woke up. A real plus was the balcony with a view of the ocean right there. I might stay again as it was a reasonable price (Nov-Dec) but would speak with them about having a room that is shielded from the noise of the doors slamming at night. They do have a nice breakfast which came with the room--which was a real plus. It's a nice setting overall and very clean.

The front desk wasn't knowledgeable and honest in their responses when I called before I booked to ask if there were microwave's & streaming services (specifically Prime) in the room and was told yes. When I arrived, that was not the case and I was put in a different room from what I booked. I asked for a late checkout and was told yes & that also didn't happen. Got locked out & had to get go back downstairs to get my keys reactivated. At this point I did ask to speak to management & was told they would be there in the afternoon, my info and message was taken and no one has reached out. Highly disappointed in my stay!
