The fact that I couldn’t sit on balcony was disappointing. Had I know the building was under renovations I would have booked else where. Then the front desk wasn't very helpful when I called and told them I was locked out the bathroom. Would I stay again probably not!

Our room was beautiful. The view was stunning. Everything was clean. The staff were very nice. The only thing I did not like was they did not have people to clean the rooms. If you needed something you had to call for it.

Room smelt clean. Linens were clean. Great view of the beach. Huge bath/ shower combo. Almost slipped getting out. The mattress was so hard. Messed my back and hip up. The hotel hallways smelt of marijuanna. The hallways and doors need a good cleaning and painting. Just seemed dingy. Overall the hotel needed an update. But Great location. You might not be able to get out. Not sure if the garage was designed for hobbits or a game from a SAW movie. Way too small. And I saw this as someone who drives a Honda civic. Also not sure why there was such a difference in price (my new reservation was HALF the price of my original reservation I made months ago, same hotel, same dates, same room same everything but half the price? Gym is great.

We had a studio and could hear the guests on either side. One had television on all night and slamming doors and fighting. We could also smell whatever there were cooking. Reported to front desk and told us to call security if it gets too loud.

It was nice to see they are updating the place. We really loved having the little kitchen area. Plus it had all the dishes and utensils we needed. The sunrises on the balcony were amazing. We even saw baby dolphins. Will definitely be back.

Parking garage is very small. A big truck or suburnan suze SUV is to big for garage. Oarking option is a parking lot somewhat near the hotel but not convenient.

Stayed for one night, traveling from FL to NY and its not the best hotel on the beach but it was a nice oceanfront room for one night. I think the only negatives were the sink light not turning on, and the walkway to get from the parking garage to the room was a little weird, one of the doors wouldn’t open all the way so we had to squeeze through.

Living room furniture was absolutely filthy! We saw bugs and roaches in our bathroom and kitchen. Our microwave died during stay. Rather than swapping out the broken one, we were brought a small portable one to use which due to limited outlets had to be set on the stove top. The stove’s on/off buttons had to be pulled off in order for the microwave door to have space to open/close so we could only use one or the other at a time. Very inconvenient for preparing meals. Extremely disappointed in Hilton.

We come twice every year and enjoy our stay here. It's quiet and walkable to our favorite restaurants. Although the parking lot is a little tight we enjoy the covered parking facilities. The staff are courteous and greet us whenever we see them throughout the hotel.

I am satisfied overall from my stay. The full kitchen facility with big refrigerator, stove, cooking pots, plates, cups, utensils is great. Awesome ocean view and resort amenities. There is business or work center, but it can be improved with work station type booths with additional monitors to use with my laptop. Or addition of work desk and chair in the room will be awesome.

It was bad. Other than that loved it! The room had a lot of towels, a little dishwasher, there was shampoo conditioner body lotion, nice silverware and knives, plates, tea coffee cups coffee, maker, and coffee and teabags. We stayed in a double bed suite as I get up early and he sleeps in so I go out front and hang out and don’t bother him. The beach was lovely. Lots of military planes and choppers flying above we loved it.

The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the room we were given was not functional and inconvenient. The commode was in a room by itself and you had to straddle the commode in order to shut the door. When seated, you could touch the walls with your elbows. There was no counter space around the sink. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We had a spacious room and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Loved the view, hot tub, and pickle ball court. The staff was very attentive through text messages right before our arrival and Stephanie surprised us with a welcoming gift basket and balloons for our anniversary which made the stay extra special!

Great place for a great price. Yes, the beach view was awesome, we got the suite which had a full kitchen, awesome. Everything was clean, the staff was super helpful and friendly. When we checked out, the kids wanted to hit the beach so it was a massive plus that they let us keep the car parked until 2:30. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

We have always stayed here when we visit VA Beach, unfortunately this year they implemented a no cash policy. We found out AT THE PROPERTY. So we wont be staying again.

We stayed in an oceanfront room with a king bed. Clean room with a balcony and a GIANT tub. Staff was super helpful at check in, we didn't interact with them beyond that because we didn't need to. The parking garage attached to the hotel is very tight, I don't recommend using it with a bigger vehicle. We brought an SUV so we ended up parking at 9th street garage just a couple minutes walk away. The room wasn't huge but did come with a small kitchen area with a sink, some dishes, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The balcony was very nice. The weather wasn't great when we visited so there were red flags at the beach. We still walked the boardwalk and sat on the beach for a while but it was great getting to use the pools as well. The rooftop pool isn't huge but was nice for some relaxation, same with the indoor pool and hot tub. We had a great trip and would recommend this hotel to others. They are a non-smoking resort (this includes vaping) even on the balcony so there were signs posted everywhere about that. It is in a good location right on the oceanfront that was in a bit more relaxed area. There were food and bars within walking distance (Chix on the beach and Waterman's grille are like right next-door). If you are looking for more touristy shops and activity I would go further up the boardwalk. It's just a bit of a longer walk from the hotel, or a 2 minutes drive.

However, the sofa bed mattress was horrible. Coffeemaker didn't work. Had to use a plunger for the toilet every day.

I liked the view as I was on the 12th floor. It doesn’t have a conventional bathtub and shower so it’s awkward stepping in however the room was clean and the staff was very nice

Property is looking dated. In need of an update. Furniture is tired, plumbing leaked, carpet in hallways is atrocious. Seems like they are awaiting a buyout.

The staff was over the top friendly everybody that worked for the place. However, the TV reception was just awful very grainy. The maintenance guy even replaced the TV, but it didn’t help the toilet in our room was about a foot maybe 18 inches high made for little children. It was in a room smaller than a closet, and you could hardly shut the door to that little toilet room unless you stood up against the wall behind the toilet and then shut the door. On the other hand, the bathtub was huge and could easily fit two people. The facility was very clean throughout and the staff was so nice. The room we were in was clean and recently painted, the ocean view was great, and hotel location was right on the boardwalk. Bathroom layout was terrible - bathtub right behind the entry door with no privacy. Tiny toilet closet on the other side of the entry door. We had to straddle the toilet to close the door for the toilet closet because the door swung inward, and barely cleared the front of the toilet. How is this design even legal? Didn't really use the kitchenette. We didn't use either pool but they were both open and looked clean when we checked them out. Three elevators with easy access to the parking garage was convenient. My car door was dented in the parking garage. Mixed feelings about this experience.

Enjoyed walks on beach and boardwalk. Also rooftop pool. Convenient walks to shops and restaurants.

I liked the staff, they were really nice and accommodating! I would say it was a nice stay. Although, I didn’t like how the check in was at 4pm, and check out at 10am. It’s not even a 12h, I would say it’s not worth it. The glass door in the balcony area wasn’t clean, and small things here and there weren’t as clean.

When I arrived to my room it was dirty, I had to wait in the lobby 1 hour with my kids until it was cleaned. Once they advised it was clean, when I returned back to my room, housekeeping was still cleaning it, so me and my kids had to wait in the hallway by the room until it was cleaned.

Absolutely disgusting we left immediately

This property is located on the south end of VA Beach boardwalk, very beach-accessible. Friendly, helpful staff. Our room was nice; I would stay there again. However, the price was too high for the facility, and they need to spruce up the hallways if they want to sell time-share or full ownership.

Very beautiful space, very thin walls

Was not able to get balcony view as requested property was run down and smelled of mold. Only bright spot was that they refunded the rest of our stay after we declined to stay for the rest of our vacation after the first night

The parking deck is very small and the overflow parking lot is small and not close.

Overall the stay was average. The bathroom area was rather tight (toilet area)for a larger person. The Electronic key cards didnt wanna work very well. The doors going to the balconies were rather hard to open and close.

The stay was great! Went with a group of friends and the room was spacious and clean. Having a balcony facing the beach was certainly a highlight. Front desk was very accommodating, as we were able to check in a bit early. The parking garage has super tight turns. Luckily we drove a Prius so no worries there, but we did see a pickup truck get stuck. I wouldn’t bring anything larger than a compact SUV. Overall, we had a great time and hope to return soon!

Property needs some updating but was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

Garage is something to behold. Very tight. Noisy neighbors, hotel staff acted quickly when notified. Bathrooms a bit dated. Common areas a bit dated.

Beach Quarters is always a nice pleasant stay. And the rooftop bar is back in service! Minus the alcohol, though.

The "not so great" list is the property was not as "fancy" as other resorts, but the affordability more than made up for it! We also had troubles getting the water at a comfortable temperature in order to shower/wash hands. It was scalding HOT! But once we figured it out, it was ALL GOOD! Would DEFINITELY stay here again! 💜

Right on the boardwalk. Perfect for a small family with the option to eat out or cook your own meals.

Excellent view and beach access. Clean and comfortable. Super friendly, curtious and helpful staff. Great ammonites. Will stay next time when in Virginia Beach.

I liked that Watermans was right beside it, they have amazing food. Didnt like that we had to keep messing with toilet because most of the time it wouldn't fill back up with water.

Indoor pool area was really nice. We had an issue with the couch in our room and they brought us a brand new couch to replace it immediately. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Some areas still need updating but you can see they are working on it.

Outdated hotel. Room was not cleaned and most of the linen had stains. The staff was very friendly and respectful but I probably will not be staying again.

To begin with, I'm not a Kevin, i have never written a review for anything, but this deserves one.The floor in the room was so dirty, we had to wear our shoes the whole time we were there to keep our feet clean. If you walked from the shower to the balcony , our feet were completely black and gritty. The grout between the tiles were black about 3" up before it turned white. I know they have to clean the rooms quick, but even if they moped a couple of times a week, would make a difference, i know because i used to mop floors and strip wax and rewax grocery store floors. This is property seems to be one of the older hotels there, i know , because we have stayed at a lot of the hotels up and down the oceanfront over the last 30 years, the southern oart of the oceanfront hotels are all the older ones there. I know they call it a resort, but it's far from that. They call this a resirt , so they don't have to have enough staff to clean the rooms daily, resulting in higher prifut

I enjoyed the hotel very much, but there was a lot of road noise from motorcycles and racing cars at night, that made sleep difficult.

Very outdated and overpriced. Rooms are terribly small and there is no daily housekeeping.

The staff was great but the rooms really needs updated hardly no hot water, the rooms look like they haven’t fully been cleaned in years, but no bugs is a plus

Great location, needs renovations, the room was very beat up but ok, Pools great!! Front desk is top tier!! Safety is top tier (you basically need a key card for everything, including the elevators) Garage, could use expansion!!! Clean, great activities for the entire family!!

Such a great place for families. Very clean and welcoming. Plently of parking available. Staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

The location was good. The staff were very accomodating, brought up extra towels, a broom, and waters per request. The parking garage is sketchy...cleaning staff smoking pot...extremely tight quarters. Do not bring a large vehicle. It was also strange that as a paying customer we had to go outside despite stormy weather to get to the lobby after 11PM. The balcony was unsafe as the rails were too far apart...def don't meet code. The beds were comfortable and enjoyed the ocean view. I probably wont stay there again due to the above concerns.

Staff was friendly and always looking to help with anything, but no daily service of the rooms or anything to clean up sand that gets in your room on floor were two things we weren't pleased with. It was also easy to hear others in rooms through the walls. Overall, the stay was good and the ease of access to everything along with the safety and security of the property outweighs the drawbacks. Parking is also fine, despite some reviews I saw...although tight through parking garage.
